Excellent food and friendly staff. I come here often for sandwiches, salads, and catering. Everything is quality and I am happy to refer them to my friends and family that are looking for catering services.

Cute, authentic Italian deli, mac salad hit the spot, not too much mayo-just right. Turkey sub tasted like an authentic Italian deli sub should taste, I didn't find the bread to be too thick whatsoever - it seemed like authentic Italian bread. Impressive selection of Pastoso in the freezer, Manhattan Special (coffee) soda, nice assortment of imports, interesting confections packaged Italian desserts. May not be Brooklyn, but for upstate NY, this place is top notch. Thank you.

Ordered a sub, some tortellini, some pasta salad. Guy behind the counter was personable kind and helpful. Sub was phenomenal. Will come again and highly recommend. Prices are low end fair. 11.99 for a bomb steak sub is great.

Awesome place for authentic Italian specialty items

We go there for the subs and the variety of frozen good pasta choices. Just wish the bread for subs wasn't quite so thick. Seems like too much sometimes.

My favorite place to get a sub in the capital region. Meats and veggies are very fresh and their bread is great. Staff is friendly and efficient - even when there’s a line, it moves quick. Great selection of other products and reasonably priced. Always had a good experience here, highly recommend.

Carry-out favorite. Wonderful deli products, rolls, and misc gourmet dry and canned goods. Boars Head products are always the best. Nice selection of deli salads and pre-made pasta dinners you can whip up at home in a few minutes. It's frequently busy because people know about it but usually 6 or more counter help keeps the line moving. One of the ladys calls me "hon" which is always a plus. Love this place.

Small shop with some great Italian grocery items but is a bit expensive.

Authentic! The first time I ever had an imported espresso soda was here when I was visiting my family upstate. A very quaint place, simple and easy going.

This place is great. My whole band stopped there on the way to a Vermont gig. Great sandwiches and salads. They are really friendly and fast. When passing thru Albany we will always go there for the quick lunch spot.

Quick, friendly and good subs and sandwiches

Wonderful deli with phenomenal staff, sensational fresh food, and authentic Italian products. I would highly recommend this deli to anyone looking for a great meal and experience, but it is a very popular place, so prioritize your time because the wait in line can be long, but trust me… it is definitely worth it!

Five stars on there ☺️ subs! They have some of the best subs in the area in both their locations. If you haven't tried them you are certainly missing out on a good thing! Their staff is always helpful and polite. They also have a good selection of international chocolate and Italian cookies at the Albany location. Oh and FYI they also serve hot 🔥🥵 subs/sandwiches 🥪.

As always delicious. Good quality ingredients.. I ordered the Chicken Parm Sub. Service was great. The gentleman that took my order was very pleasant. .. waited a little bit, but I didn't mind - I knew going in, that I hadn't pre-ordered, so I expected a little bit of a wait. And it was worth the wait - I have cravings now.. I'll have get back there soon. I would recommend this place

Today I tried to order lasagna dinners to go which are advertised to have bread and salad included. When I called, they said they had chicken parm lasagna so I okayed that, assuming it'd be a full dinner. Well...no salad or bread, lasagna only. That wasn't the only issue. The fellow making a sub had his mask hanging from his face and was breathing directly onto the sub. Sorry, but I expected more from a place with such a great reputation.

I am ordering there Tuesday because of a good friends. recommendation

Love this place. Hot sausage is the best ever. Great service !

They sell terrific sandwiches but they close at 4:00 everyday and 3:00 on Saturday. So if your coming home from work and want to grab some food for the family as a treat, forget it, they will be closed.

Best deli sandwiches in the area. Sure, they are importers of many foods, but the sandwiches and subs are just as amazing! No skimping there! Great service, great food, wheel chair accessible, and don't forget to grab a loaf of fresh Italian for home!

Boar's Head meats, Prinzo's bakery rolls, and a generous hand on the slicer... Can't go wrong for lunch. Great hot subs, and salads, too.

These guys know how to make a sandwich! This is one of very few places in the region that can make sandwiches like I remember from downstate. The bread is great. The quality of the cold cuts is excellent and consistent. Service is quick and professional. Never once has one of my orders been incorrect.

Best subs around! Hands down one of the best sandwiches ive ever eaten. great quality ingredients they use. Under 9$ for an amazing italian mix on fresh baked submarine rolls. The subs have alot of meat and cheese , no need to ever ask for extra. They are consistently delicious!! I go to the one on route 4 . Order ahead so you are not starting doing in line.

Deli selection is great. Grocery items are pricey but it is a niche selection.
