We ALWAYS enjoy our food from Pigg ah Boos. The service is top notch and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Our food is always cooked to order, served fresh and very tasty. We will continue to support and invite others to indulge in some good tasting food! We’ve tried just about everything and we have not been disappointed.

Great food and people are friendly. A little hard to find but worth the effort to find it.

One of Thomson's best! We eat here at least once a week. The Miami Heat wings are the best I've ever had! It's such a friendly, home-like atmosphere. They never fail to treat us like family! We LOVE Piggahboos!!

Stopped in from PA & grabbed a bite to go! The food was delicious I enjoyed every bit even had enough to heat up the next day & once the juices marinated the leftovers were extra delicious

What an awesome little place to grab some delicious pork BBQ. I stopped in here while passing through and thoroughly enjoyed eating here. The food was super tasty and the service was awesome. I couldn’t have asked to have had friendlier service. The folks running this place treated me very well. The pork BBQ was really good and the sauce was just icing on the cake. I’d definitely eat here again if I passed through again. Great folks and great food!

My husband and I just moved to the area and been trying the different local restaurants looking for great (HOT) wings. Finally found the most delicious spicy wings!!!! Miami HOT and Miami heat 🔥. Absolutely fire!!

Absolutely love this little gem! If your looking for a place all the locals love this is it! Tried the chef recommended fried corn and loved it!! The smoked wing were very tender and the sauce was a nice addition to the meat. We will definitely plan a stop here next time we travel through Thomas, GA.

We tried this place for the first time today after reading the great reviews online. I got the fried fish, macaroni and cheese, and potato salad. The fish was well seasoned and the Mac and cheese had a great flavor and texture. The potato salad was tasty as well. The service was fantastic and I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area. When I tell you these "Miami Heat" Wings are fiye!!! 🔥🔥🔥 The fried conch is superb and seasoned to perfection! I can't wait to come back! Their customer is the best hands down!!!! Everything was delicious!!

Food was old n dry... not worth eating and they seemed to segregate black Americans from the white Americans when they sat us down to our tables. Just poor experience all together.. I must go puke now

I came back again on 6/12/2024 and ordered fried pork chops, potato salad (again) and cole slaw. Now, it’s been about two years later since my last visit. My food was still phenomenally delicious, fresh, pork chops were seasoned to perfection and hot and salad/slaw delicious and cold like they are supposed to be!!! Please, please believe me I say, Thomson has an EXCEPTIONAL RESTAURANT that should have clients from its location to I-20 and it’s “PIGG-AH-BOO’S!!!!!!! Don’t miss out because you will definitely regret it!!! My husband and I and stopped by about two years (2022) ago and the food (smoked fried ribs, fried pork chop, corn on the cob, potato salad, chicken wings, fries, and greens) was absolutely delicious! The customer service was also excellent! We will be back!!!

Everything was just on point, fast and delicious with excellent service. Portions are good and price was reasonable. Deff coming back, y'all crushed it!

The food & service here has always been great but this time I had the pleasure of experiencing how wonderful & intimate the atmosphere is. Andre was very accommodating to our group & he has a great relationship with the community he serves. I would DEFINITELY recommend!!!!

I am beyond thankful to have such a hidden gem In Thomson. We need more restaurants like this. I wasn’t sure what to get but my son came home with the best Lamb chops ever. I went right then and got me a dinner of the Lamb, Collards and Mac & cheese which all were off the chain. DEE & ANDRE really took care of me. Chops were tender, juicy not gamy. Give this restaurant a try. Awesome!

Today, I had the opportunity to try Pigg ah boo's for the 1st time. We ordered several items from the menu: pulled pork sandwich, fried pork chop sandwich, bbq ribs, fried ribs, and the fish sandwich. All the sandwiches were very affordable at $6.95 & came with fries. Let's start with the good: the pulled pork, potato salad, bbq ribs, and the baked beans were all fantastic. Well seasoned, tender, and definitely something we'd come back for. The not so good: the fried ribs were inconsistent dry in some parts moist in the other. The fried pork chop was seasoned well but overcooked, which made it dry out. Lastly, the bad: now this is just 1 opinion, but the macaroni & cheese wasn't it it lacked both flavor & texture. I would say the roux broke & you could tell. The fried corn wasn't it either, mostly because although the batter was good the actual corn had no flavor. Having that all said, we'll definitely be back now that we know what we like the owner & wonderful hostess was 1,000% worth the visit alone. This is the epitome of down-home cooking & definitely worth the drive!

I've seen the owner at Sam's many times and on IG, so I decided to see if his restaurant is as good as he say it is...well it is the fried ribs and the lamb was beyond great, and Mrs Dion hopefully I spelled her name correctly, she's a ray of sunshine, I will definitely come back again

THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They presence is so peaceful and beautiful. They are so kind, immediately make conversation to make sure you good and comfortable. Constantly make sure you good on your food and refills! Food is real FRESH AND HOT! I had a chicken sandwich with fries, it was BUSS 10/10! My sandwich was not dry it was big and juicy! I enjoyed myself with my friends today there and it was my first time ever getting something from there. That will most definitely be our spot from now on! GET YALL SOME FOOD YALL WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED, I PROMISE! 💕

Great service and vibe. The food is excellent I got the ribeye with macaroni and cheese, collard greens with a side of potato salad, fries, 6 piece Miami hot. A delicious cup of conch salad which is all I wanted.

Just moved to Thomson 2 month ago and have never tried this place. Tonight my wife and I decided to give it a try. I am so glad that we did. I had the pulled pork Mac and cheese and fries and on a scale from 1/10 I give it a 20. My wife had the pork chop dinner that comes with 2 pork chops Mac and cheese and collards. Hands down the BEST pork chop we have EVER eaten wife said she gives it a 30! If you haven’t tried it you NEED to

Got the fried pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, mac and cheese, and miami heat wings. Definitely some of the best food I've ever had, the sauce on the wings was phenomenal and the food was incredibly satisfying. A true taste of the south.

It's legit. Very good pulled pork. Mac and cheese was the real deal. If I'm able to return Imma just get a 5 gallon bucket of collard greens. It was good but I'm broke and still hungry.

If I could give these folks 100 stars, I would. Everything tasted great! The Miami Heat wings were fantastic. I got the fried pork chop and they were amazing. The collard greens and macncheese were immaculate. The potato salad was amazing. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. I could not recommend this place more. If I were staying an extra day, I’d go back tomorrow. Awesome food. Big things on the horizon for this family owned business.

This was a unique barbecue spot! If you’re into fried foods and barbecue this is the place for you! The fried ribs are spot on. Me and my husband will definitely eat here again soon.. The owner/chef was also very welcoming.

My husband and I stopped in while visiting the birthplace my father. We were not disappointed! We ordered the fried ribs, Mac n cheese, baked beans & greens. Oh, the Miami heat wings, chef's kiss! The sweet tea was delicious and the pork chop was delicious. The interior could use a deep clean. Other than that, everything was amazing & customer service EXCELLENT! We will be back!

Pigga-ah-boo's has the best food. I feel like my taste buds got saved, sanctified, and filled w the Holy Ghost! Made me want to move to Thomson, GA. I had the fried shrimp, potato salad, and baked beans. And they have lamb chops!!! Seasoned perfectly. Even the tarter sauce and cocktail sauce was uniquely seasoned

Service was excellent! Friendly and cheerful despite being very busy. The Food was fresh hot and well prepared. The collards were excellent! The pulled pork was not to my liking even though it was hot and well cooked. It had no smoked flavor - instead tasted like oven roasted pork. The macaroni and cheese was fresh and hot and cheesy. The roll was deep fried and smothered with butter- different for sure! The atmosphere is quaint and clean - nothing fancy which suits me fine.

LOVEEEEEE their pasta and the chicken pasta is my go to item every time! However they have good wings as well definitely recommend the pasta or the Miami Heat wings.

My sisters & niece visited Pigg ah Boo's for the first time today. Neither of us were disappointed! We had the stuffed turkey legs, fried ribs, Miami Heat wings. Collards, Mac n cheese etc among the 4 of us. The food was hot & delicious, no seasoning needed! I'll be revisiting soon!

Food was horrible……asked for mild lemon pepper wings. What I got was some pre bread hot wings. The burger was a low quality premade patties not really sure if it was real ground beef. Lemonade and fries are bout all that’s hitting. I was very disappointed in food.

If I could leave a thousand stars I truly would. Being born and raised in the south, we all know good bbq. BUT THIS PLACE… it stands out above all other restaurants. I am a die hard wing fan and the Miami heat wings are the best wings I have ever tasted. I never heard of fried ribs but those were amazing too with their homemade bbq sauce. Everything was made fresh to order and unique to the store. You may have had wings, you may have had Mac n cheese, but you’ve never had it like they make it here. The people working are INCREDIBLE and make you feel like family/ friends as soon as you walk in. My boyfriend and I drove 30 minutes out of the way to come here based on images from the reviews alone. The prices are very low in comparison to what they could be and what everything else costs right now. The extra miles were worth it. We couldn’t wait to eat our food so we sat in the parking lot and could not shut up about how incredible the wings (and everything else BUT THE MIAMI HEAT WINGSS) were. The food was so incredible in fact that my boyfriend is now inside ordering 10 more of the wings before we leave. We will definitely be back for more of the worlds best BBQ! Don’t leave here without those crispy, juicy wings y'all. 10/10 …. Keith Lee on tiktok definitely needs to review this place

We stopped in from out of town. We always try to eat local if we can and we did not make a mistake with this one!! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and he recommended I get it deep fried and OMG. It was so good my husband ordered one to go. His ribs were really good too. It was a little pricy, but DEFINITELY worth it all. The gentlemen in there tonight, 2/17, were so nice and helpful. This is my first time here at pigg-ah-boo's and let me tell yall.... this fried pulled pork sandwich is slammin!!! Not to mention the Mac and cheese!!! So If your looking for some great food and good atmosphere..... pigg-ah-boos is where it's at!!!!

Got the smoked ribs, they were burnt. Got yeast rolls also burnt. The baked beans were cold so I couldn't really get a good taste. The ribs were bland nothing special. I'm from Michigan and I can proudly say our BBQ is far superior to this "down south" BBQ joint. I've had Texas BBQ and it poops on this place. Oh the meal was 16$ but she charged me for a sandwich meal so it was cheaper than usual and I'm still hungry. OVERPRICED UNDERSEASONDED OVERCOOKED COLD FOOD

We were running late for a doctor’s appointment in Atlanta. We told the cook we were in a hurry but we really wanted to try their wings and shrimp. He said no problem let me drop the wings and I will be back to take your order. Everything was delicious and the service was very friendly, fast, and accurate. Best place I have eaten at in a long time.

Everything was exceptional, but I could have eaten a pot of those greens. I cannot explain how good they were! My wife had the ribs and they were fall off the bone tender. The staff were extremely friendly. Wish they were closer to me.

We stopped by because we saw the reviews - they were absolutely right! This food is amazing, and the people that run it are some of the friendliest people I've met in food service. It's like a dine-in food truck; amazing homemade food, quick service, and great people! I'd reccomend the wings and the pulled pork - I've never had fried wings I liked until now!

Talk about finding a a jewel! Everything was so delicious!!! Fresh and hot. Everything was served right off the stove. We tried to find out how many gandmas were in the kitchen. Our host “D” was everything: attentive, accommodating, but gave us enough room to enjoy ourselves. The menus is very extensive. It’s going to take us a while to try it all. Between us we ordered 5 or 6 different entrees. Everyone was licking the fork!!! Yummy.

Food was excellent. Fresh & homemade. D was an excellent host and took great care of us. The funnel cake bites were yummy but I bet D could make some even better banana pudding!

Pigg-ah_boo's has probably the best pulled pork I have ever had! The flavor is perfection! Its smoked, and spiced just right. The meat is tender and succulent, juicy, but not too juicy. The pork was lean and Not fatty at all. I had the pulled pork sandwich. Husband had a grilled chicken dinner with collards and baked beans. All delicious. Trust me you will not be disappointed at Pigg-ah- boo's. It's fantastic southern cooking! The restaurant was nice and warm on a cold winter day.
