From start to finish this place is a true gem of Ruskin and am shocked there’s not more people inside. Service is very friendly and fast, the building inside is very clean and tidy, and the food is incredible. I had the chicken shawarma with Greek salad, and wife had Falafel and Hummus Platter, also got a slice of cheesecake. Everything was delicious and fresh, super happy we finally tried this place out. Will definitely be back!!

I have tried the food several times, including the falafel, lamb, hummus and salad just to name a few. All of the food has always been excellent. Service is always great as well. Highly rexommend. Need to go again asap.

Outstanding food! Everything I’ve had is fresh and amazing! The employees and very kind as well. The shawarma alone is worth the visit!

Best shwarma in the area hands down. Super flavorful and all the ingredients are super fresh. Fries are golden brown and beautifully crispy. Hummus is perfect and the pita bread is divine. You have got to try this place if you haven't.

I found this wonderful place by mistake. Alexis was a great cashier. The food was amazing. I ordered the lamb gyro with fries. The fries were so good they didn't make it out of the parking lot. When I got home I ate that gyro and it was superb. Will be going back again for sure.

The building and dine area what they look like… just ok in an old Florida strip mall… BUT… the food and service are incredible. Best gyro and Greek / Mediterranean food in the area by far.

The food is really good - especially the Greek salad with lamb! The owner is always polite. The place is small but there are tables for eating inside.

THE WORST GREEK SALAD EVER! I ordered a greek salad with potato salad. I paid extra for the potato salad. The 1 scoop of potato salad was half of the food on my plate and it was on top of the salad, not underneath. They put it on top to hide the fact that I got a half of a teaspoon of feta cheese. I guess they think the customer is stupid and we don't realize they didn't put any feta cheese on it by putting the potato salad on top. Maybe 1 cup of brown wilted lettuce was in my salad, there were more unripe tomatoes in it than lettuce. Well, now I know where not to go.

Been here a couple times now and they've probably got the best gyros I've ever had! Also I have no idea what the dressing is on the salad but hot dang is it good! If you want Greek in this area, it's the spot!

Went to my favorite restaurant today! The food is absolutely fantastic! Living close to Greek Town in Detroit for decades- this supersedes what I experienced in the past! The new decor gives a Mediterranean influence my eating pleasure!!!!!! 5 stars indeed!!!!!!! I'm back!!!!! It's a week later and I hope those that read my post came for lunch or dinner! I would highly recommend this place for a super bomb gyro! This was my first time ever having lamb gyro and it was AMAZING! And the homemade fries oh gosh they were sooo good! Let’s just say between the service food and atmosphere it felt like you were right at home & so welcoming!

We finally found a truly delicious gyro! The real deal. Homemade sauces, hummus and fresh crisp salad. I also ordered lamb rice bowl , really a platter-which included large portion of tender seasoned lamb pieces, seasoned rice, salad, hummus and tzatziki sauce. Can't wait to return for more. Lunch specials with beverage is only $10.

I deliver with Uber Eats, and today I picked up an order from this restaurant under the ghost restaurant name of Mediterranean Palace at 4:49. The individual that came to the front, looked confused at first, then went to the back to find the order. It took somewhere between 3 and 5 minutes (I really wasn't watching the time too much) and he came out with 1 bag and passed it over to me. I regularly ask a simple "Is this everything? " with each order I pick up, and was told that it was complete (I won't inspect someone's food because of sanitary reasons). After I delivered the order, the customer called me asking where the rest of their order was. They had already called the restaurant and was told that there were 2 bags, so I must still have the other. Because of the missing food, the customer reduced the tip to 0 and rated me negatively for a problem this restaurant caused. I strongly encourage anyone who delivers to avoid Pita Kebob, or their ghost restaurant Mediterranean Palace unless you want to risk your rating, or more importantly, your money. Additionally, if you want to order food from here, please do not use any delivery services from this location, or you will risk missing items, and the restaurant will not admit they were at fault. There is literally nothing this restaurant can do to change my mind. If I were the owner, I would not want anyone that is dishonest and lacks integrity working for me, so I am informing you of a problem to fix. This place is a hidden gem stuck in an old shopping plaza. You need to give this place a try and you won't be disappointed. The rice bowl with chicken shawarma or the chicken shawarma platter are my go-to options. The food is fresh and you get a great portion for the price. Highly recommend!

I have been coming here for years and I gotta tell you....this place is the best! Not only did they remember me after not coming in for awhile....they remembered my order and I gotta tell you....the food is always amazing! I have tried so much but my go to is their pita salad (with no paprika...thanks guys for always getting it right!!) You will not be disappointed. They make their hummus fresh and everything is absolutely delicious! Their customer service is top notch too! Much love to yall!!

I came in the 21st of March around 830pm Very slow service and many workers. It took me ten minutes to arrive Uber eats pickup, order still wasn't ready and I had to wait thirty minutes before the order was ready. Time is money and I don't get paid for waiting around. The cashier was making food smh. Get better workers..

Spinach pie, the gyro and fries were good. I don’t recommend the Mediterranean nachos. They’re baked on what tastes like stale pita bread with feta, cheddar cheese, olives, and chili on it, with sour cream and jalapeño peppers on the side.

It was our first time going to this restaurant. My wife had the grilled shrimp and salmon. I had the Greek Delite and both were absolutely incredible. We highly recommend this restaurant. Extremely helpful explaining the menu items in detail and friendly workers.

The service here was good The gyros we had were a good size, but needed some more flavoring. The fries were pretty good. We've had gyros and Mediterranean wraps in quite a few places and most have been a let down, I would come back for these gyros and even try some of the other items on the menu.

This place was outstanding! Loved it all. We ordered 2 platters, which came with a salad, humus, pita, chicken and rice. I mixed it all into my salad it was absolutely delicious. Great portions, great food, service was top notch, quick, and very friendly. I would like to go back everyday in here visiting and try something new. Restaurant was clean, bathrooms were clean, the atmosphere got 4 stars just because there were allot of take out orders but that's to be expected these days especially if you have something people want to keep ordering. DO NOT order from here!!! I door dashed and did not get half my order. The dasher explained that, that is what the associate at the store gave him and the complete order was sealed when he picked it up. I called and spoke with a very rude female who said since you ordered from DoorDash contact them for a refund or reorder again. DoorDash DID NOT make the mistake PITA KEBOB DID by not giving them my entire order. The customer service was horrible and I will never order from here again. I will also let everyone know of my personal experience with PITA KEBOB! Thankfully DoorDash gave me a full credit. I will also be contacting the BBB since the restaurant took NO Accountability for their service or associates. If you’re looking for good service DO NOT GO TO PITA KEBOB!

Gyro fries and drink between 11a-3p for $9.99. Nice! Portions are spot on and flavors are just right. Some of these places get a little silly with the spice blend on Gyro meat. Not here. Just right. This was actually second time visiting. First time I was so hungry I devoured the food before I could get a picture. A little rain storm, ok a huge rain storm, allowed me the extra time to relax and enjoy this one.

My husband and I have been eating here for lunch and sometimes dinner for the last two years, and their food is so delicious and the most authentic. Alexis, is so sweet and kind, always with a warm smile on her face greeting, and treating us like we are family. The owner Phillip, is also so very kind, as well, as they have the very best customer service, and always amazing delicious food in this entire state we have ever had. Being a retiree from the airlines and traveled the world a few times, Pita Kebob, here in Ruskin, is truly the best! We are so blessed to have them! They have a wide variety menu and something amazing for all ages! Large portions too!

One of the best gyros I’ve had in the area. The meat is tender and cooked to perfection.

I’m not real experienced with lamb gyros but this had really good flavor and good sized serving. I’m not sure how lamb should be but this seem a little dry around edges. Got salad with it and special till 3 pm. Takes longer than most fast food. Service knowledgeable and friendly.
