Quite delicious Cuban inspired dishes with large portions at very reasonable prices.

I've only had carryout so far, but the inside looks nice too! The food is great and they are very friendly

Great menu, tasty Cuban fare, comfortable seating arrangements, bread pudding and Guva cheese cake . Prices reasonable.

Been here many times and the care in their serving has gone way down, not sure what has happened. This salad is almost after taxes $20 dollars and this is what you get. Barely any lettuce and it’s supposed to be a salad and the chicken tasted awful too. Bland

Our 'lunch bunch' goes there occasionally and it's always good. This time I had the deviled crab. It was Huge!

Small restaurant. Fast seating. Lunch. Deviled crab and cuban. Just visiting, so a one time stop.

Not even close to Cuban food. After hearing this place being raves about for a few days from a neighbor we decided to go. Walked in and waited a bit to be seated. No problem there. It happens. We ordered a steak Cuban and I forget what my husband ordered (that lack luster). Steak sandwhich had no seasoning. None, not even salt. I can see why our other neighbors said they’ve been there only once and that was enough. The burgers from McDonald’s have more seasoning than this sandwhich. Sad would love to support more local businesses but they need to at least season their food if they are charging that much.

This place is a well-kept secret that should be better known. Very authentic Cuban cuisine and reasonable prices. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is good, and the atmosphere is comfortable. Highly recommended!

Great food, great drinks and most of all a great staff, we usually call in our order to enjoy at home but whene6we dine in it's always great.

I had to come back here and leave an amazing review for this restaurant. I recently ordered a very large catering order for my husband‘s 40th birthday party not only was placing the order. Absolutely the restaurant followed up with me to make sure it was correct day of. Extremely detailed and thorough employees and the food was absolutely fantastic!! It was the talk of the party! Thank you so much. If anyone is in need of catering for an event, highly recommend them or just regular restaurant dining as well. Great food and people!

Very over rated. I had 1 drink special and the mini basket of stuffed crab appetizer. 30 dollars not including tip. The bread was not fresh at all and the stuffed crab was overcooked. Dark brown. Every one there was nice but it was not worth 30 dollars

Overall the menu selection is not at all good. I was expecting so much more from a local place that has been here for 20 years. I recommend somewhere else if your looking for a none food chain restaurant. I will not be going back

Cindy was great, very nice & helpful. The fried plantains and black beans with yellow rice were wonderful. Some great specials listed. Bacon fried cabbage is delicious.

The food was outstanding! I had the Grouper Supreme. After having a (don't even get me started...yum!)delicious crab cake, I had a decent portion of fish and cabbage(very good, btw) and bread I brought the rest home. It fed me four more times! Don't miss this place!

Did not give me no ketchup the go with my fries and when I called in my order I asked them to put mayo and mustard on my sandwich and it did not Cuban sandwich with dry it ain't like I can go back home to get the stuff to put on my sandwich I was on lunch break I had to go back to work

We had a special which was paella and a bowl that was delicious; but the cream cake was not. Overall it was good but I wouldn't order the cream cake again

Amazing food, wine and beer selection. Went at odd times but seemed slow for lunch times which is wild, it is a great spot and delicious. Ybor flavour but not 30min drive north.

Updating my review as we have been very happy with the food the last several times we have been. The bowls are amazing and my go to for lunch. The ropa is some of the best I've had. The steak tips are also great. Definitely a must try spot and a regular rotation.

I get them delivered and it is ALWAYS Fantastic! Especially the Spanish Bean Soup and fresh cuban bread. Also everything else I have ordered has been delicious!!! I have had dinner in house and very good and lovely atmosphere! If you don't want to drive to the Columbia.....this is the place that follows thier traditions! ENJOY!

Had not been here for a couple of years but the food is a great as it was before. Brenda L was our server, she was excellent. Knew the menu, made some good recommendations and everything was perfect. Will be back!!

The food was delicious. It is refreshing to find a restaurant that serves a meal that makes you say to yourself, "I would order that again."

They have a really good Caldo Gallego soup, their Cuban sandwich is not bad, for my personal preference wish it would be more meaty and bread was more soft inside, but it definitely has the perfect crunchy effect. Great customer service which is a big plus for me.

One of the best Cubans and deviled crabs I've ever eaten. Waitress was very competent and courteous. Food was exceptional.

We've been going to this restaurant for years. I usually default to a salad. The Ybor salad is my favorite. The food is consistent. Plenty of parking.

Completely wow’ed, had the pork, rice and sweet plantains & it took me way back to when my Grandma was alive because that’s the only time I’ve had such delicious rice and pork I will always order this dish 10/10. Can’t wait to come back!!

Okay I've been eating here for a VERY long time and I just wanna know what the heck happened tonight ordered 3 Cuban sandwich baskets rang up to $50 and my sandwich had 2 slices of pickle and a spit of mayo/mustard and now it's made with shaved lunch meat? Come on...

My niece recommended this place & we are glad we tried it! Friendly staff, varied menus choices, large portions & good prices. My husband had the grouper meal and the portion of fish as well as the sides were more than generous. I had the Palamillo steak sandwich with homemade chips. We shared the small Ybor salad & choc sheet cake (which was more like a brownie). Took home plenty of leftovers for another day. Will eat here again.

We have lived in the area for quite a few years, but never decided to check this place out. For some reason, I thought it was a sports bar. We were looking at reviews for a nearby German restaurant that we have wanted to visit for a while, and when we saw the lackluster recent reviews, we decided to go on TripAdvisor to see what restaurant could possibly be in the top spots in the area. Well, this was #2. We had NO idea that this would be the menu, so we had to stop by for lunch. Service 10/10. Food 10/10. Great flavor, enough to have leftovers. There is no need to take the drive Ybor City. This place had wonderful service and just as good of food! This is definitely going to be on the list of go-to spots for us!

My wife and I were looking for a resturant near to where we were staying and Ybor grille popped up. We read the menu and decided to try it. Upon entering we were greeted by a lovely hostess who introduced herself as Kelly and told us a little about the place and seated us. We were dining early so there were just a few tables occupied. Our waitress came over and introduced herself. Cindy was her name and she was friendly and we told her it was our first visit and she went over the menu with us and made several recommendations and was very engaging. Our drinks, water and hot bread came to the table with a butter that had diced olives in it right away and the butter was tasty. The appetizer we had was Papas Relleno. They were delicious, hot and flavorful. Our main course came and it was hot and delicious and the portions are not small so go hungry. During dinner we were checked on by our waitress and hostess. We wrapped up this dining experience with their Flan. The Flan was done well and we really enjoyed it. By the end of our dinner the place was packed with happy guests. If your in the area try it you won't be disappointed.

This is a secret gem of a restaurant down here in the Ruskin area. The food is amazing!!! We generally get the Ybor salad and they're Ybor dressing, which I have yet to figure out what's in it, is just absolutely phenomenal. You can buy their dressing to go in a large quart sized container and sort of try to recreate their salad and fail miserably but still it's worth trying!! They have two different kinds of yuca and both of them are very good. They have great soups as well as other meals like ropa Vieja. Go try it!! You won't be disappointed.

This once local bank with a customer drive thru now converted into an authentic Cuban restaurant does have some authenticity to history to it. For starters the handicap accessible entrance with railing is a good one for Grandma to know but once inside you see the original wood floors from whenever that place was built! I think the owners decision in keeping those original distressed looking wide wood planks was fantastic idea that sets the mood to the real culture provided in the Cuban food served. I’ve never had a bad meal or bad experience with this place. I do brag about their house made mojitos to all ! They have served mango, strawberry, original etc mojitos that are to die for !! Perfectly made each time! Only thing that is of a Debbie Downer is the restaurants hours. Just because you’re located near Sun City Center doesn’t mean you have to have senior citizen closing hours just saying. The hours of operation are very limited and not accommodating to most demographics.

Cindy is an excellent server. We were treated like royalty. The food is always delicious. I like the Cuban sandwich and my companion must have the bean soup. We will eat here whenever we are in the neighborhood. I highly recommend!

To all considering trying out Ybor Grille... My family have been loyal patrons of this restaurant for over 15 years. We highly suggest you give it a try for lunch or dinner. Cece is our recommendation, if you want to have exceptional service. Our favorite dishes are Picadillo, Devil Crabs, Shrimp Alajillo and Spanish Potatoes (like homemade potato chips). Everything is served in generous portions and tastes delicious! ♡ :-) ♡

I enjoyed this place. It was comfortable inside and the wait staff friendly and attentive. I got the taste of Ybor with sides of plantains and some sort of bean soup. It also came with bread and an interesting butter. Everything was totally up to par and even brought some leftovers home to eat later.

Came with a group of 14 today & the service was excellent!! Several of us had the paella lunch special. It was tasty, a very large portion, the seafood in it was good, not overcooked and although the rice seemed a little dry I still enjoyed it & will eat my leftovers.

My first visit here was over 3 years ago, very positive experience back then. Things have declined over time regarding food quality and service. Yesterday, in this very uncrowded restaurant we were seated, waited a long time for our waitress, she took the order, delivered it and came back well after we were done to bring a check. The food was ok, didn't seem to have much flavor. Not sure what has happened but it's not the same place I first visited. My review three years ago: First time here. Today was my birthday so decided to try a local restaurant, not a national chain. Based on the experience, we'll return soon! Clean, pleasant atmosphere where we were greeted at the door and seated immediately. Simple well laid out menu and a waitress that was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The food was excellent and the portion was more than adequate! Comfortable, casual restaurant with good table seating or if you prefer sit at the bar. A fantastic experience from start to finish, already talking about our next visit.

Food is Fantastic, Our fav restaurant. Had our 55 Anniversary here We love their food. Especially their sour orange and Garlic dip for the pork sandwich, and the filet is cooked to perfection. Service was exceptional 💯

I ordered through doordash. While I was waiting on my order they had my dasher call to tell me that they had a busted water pipe in the kitchen and they would have to fix it before they could cook my order. I've worked in food service and something like that can shut a restaurant down for hours. When he arrived with my order 10 minutes later he informed me that they were playing a joke on him. This is extremely unprofessional and it was not funny to me or my dasher. People who deliver through 3rd party apps are providing your restaurant a service and should be interacted with professionally just as your staff. I will not be ordering from your restaurant again. Not to mention that my sandwich was extremely dry and unsatisfactory. I couldn't even eat the bread.

This is an adorable little restaurant. The service is fast and the food is really amazing. Brian did a great job serving us. We will be back.

Upon arrival at the restaurant, the host had their back turned to us as we walked in the front door, doing some thing on their cell phone. So we had to wait to be greeted and seated. Dining room was cold and somewhat dark. Wait staff came to the table fairly quickly, was friendly. There were two of us dining, meals came out quickly however, the plantains were severely overcooked to the point they couldn’t even be cut with a knife and fork, and the Cuban bread was stale. The other food we were served was OK but nothing spectacular.

This is a family owned restaurant. They have good food good service and lot of free parking. Every other week we visit this place.

Worth going back to try more of the menu. The papa's meatloaf is served as an open faced sandwich with my idea of the perfect amount of garlic on pressed Cuban bread. Standard cubanesque fair is delightful there as well.

Stopped in for drinks and appetizers and was very disappointed in the menu. We thought Grille meant normal bar food but it was not. However the people there seemed happy with their food.

I recently visited this restaurant and ordered the grouper sandwich. My meal was horrible. The grouper was slimy, old, bland, and overcooked. The lettuce on the sandwich was old as well. This was definitely a waste of my money because I trashed the meal. This was my first and last time visiting this restaurant.
