Really great food just wish the people that worked there would actually look like they wanna be there.

Burned my order, served it to me anyway. Not impressed. Won't recommend or go back. Not acceptable. And of course, it was a carryout order on my own lunch break, so I can't take it back.

Wilbert is the star of the show at this location. He was manning the entire lunch hour by himself because one of the employees got sick and had to return home. He was fast, friendly and efficient. Always love going to this location when he is there Pita pit is so lucky that they have such a hard-working person working for them. Long story short, go to this location if you want top-notch service.

Really grumpy girl working the veggie line today, short responses and rude when I asked a question.

My daughter and grandaughter had a wonderful lunch purchases there and their orders smelled SO GOOD! I really look forward to ordering there soon, based on their experiences!

Friendly staff, service is always quick. I've never had a bad experience here. Edit: You need more employees to help out your team during the lunch rush. I think they look overworked currently.

The food was good and reasonably priced and the restaurant was clean.

It's decent food, but it's kinda slow to order and get food and it's pretty expensive.

When I walked in there was only one gentleman working, 4 customers and another one just after me. Unfortunately there was an issue and my online order wasn't received by pita pit, but this employee helped all three customers ahead of me and got me my food in about 10 minutes! The food was excellent, store was super clean, and the service was fantastic. Not only was I acknowledged as soon as I walked in, but he was super friendly and very attentive to other customers, despite being the only employee on the floor. He reassured customers that they will be helped soon multiple times, I'm sure the situation for him was pretty stressful. I wasn't even slightly upset about the mishap with the online order, I sort of expected it to happen since I had never ordered through Google before, but he still apologized for the wait! The only thing I'm upset about here is I didn't get his name to directly mention him in my review. If management or anyone higher up is reading this, it was the gentleman working at around 1:40pm on 1/9/24. He truly was going above and beyond for the customers and should be greatly appreciated for maintaining the stores good reputation! Thank him!

The crew who works at this location have the best attitude, make every one laugh, and good food. I prefer this location compared to any other ones.

Wiburt by far is the most pleasant person I've dealt with in the food service industry. Give that man a raise! Food was good too.

Staff was friendly and personable. Pita and gyro were fresh and tasty. Restaurant was clean with great atmosphere. I look forward to eating here again.

I had a chicken souvlaki my family had clubs. Tasted fine, but I became terribly ill within a half hour of eating mine. Gross. Avoid.

The vegetarian Falafel Pita with a gluten free pita wrap was delicious. I would recommend this location because the staff was very polite, helpful, and patient. This is the best tasting gluten free pita wrap. The place was super clean and the atmosphere was quiet I would choose this place again and again, low fat and low calorie food options.

First it was the 3rd of July and it was fairly busy. The 2 staff members pretty cool. The girl said she had worked their for years and was womaning the grill. The guy was cool I had him laughing a look and when I got to the grill I had her too. The girl was pretty fast on the grill and you could see she's been working it awhile. My biggggest complaint is she didn't change gloves for quite awhile. When I was finally up the guy came to help and he changed gloves and finished up our pitas. The pitas were great. Service was almost great(gloves not changed) it was one pair of gloves from a five⭐

I don't see why this business calls itself PITA Pit, when they don't use pitas to put their ingredients into ... they use a thin, flat tortilla-like pancake to wrap around the ingredients. The food itself was fresh and tasty enough. Some of these reviews rave about the service; I found two guys who weren't particularly friendly or welcoming. Maybe because it was the end of their day, but I didn't feel welcomed; they just performed the function they get paid for. Would not come back to this place and would not go to Pita Pit again if I want pita bread

The employees were super helpful and friendly.

1st time and didn't disappoint. I can see one girl seemed new, but the manager had her back and can see he was helping her when she needed it. Would definitely go back.

Service always friendly, food is superb. There was one pita that didn't have the sauce I ordered, no sauce at all actually, however I believe this was just a one-off as every other order has been spot on. I love the falafel! So yummy. I once ordered the black bean patty instead, and since I am vegan I ordered with no cheese. An employee called me to inform me that the black bean patty contains cheese. This was highly appreciated! Absolutely recommend Pita Pit!

Old Seward store. (Near Lowe's & South restaurant). Quick service. Nice variety on the menu. Prices are reasonable.

Even though there were just 2 employees the day I went, they were quick & friendly, and the food was great.

Very friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about the food they prepare. Very customizable salads rice/quinoa bowls, or pita sandwiches. They'll grill anything to order and the ingredients are very fresh. The pita bread really surprised me in being so fresh, typically places like this the bread is dry and cracks when eaten. They steam the bread here, might be the trick. Fresh ingredients. Highly recommend.

The prices have sadly risen a lot, but despite this the quality of food is still great. Employees always ask multiple times if we would like anything else, making this a great experience!

The food is good and staff is pleasant, but 3 45 minutes from walking in to walking out for takeout is insane. The management is doing their staff a disservice by only having two people working at a time. Heads up if you’re looking for a quick lunch

It's fast food so no high expectations going in. The setup for ordering and getting what you want on your pita is disorganized. The food was meh. The guy working the counter was friendly.

Reliably good food at a reasonable price... it is as healthy as you want it to be, as you have so much control over what goes into your meal, and they are happy to help you create your masterpiece!

The food is always great. Ingredients are fresher than Subway. The bowls are huge. However, they have been understaffed for a while and service is slow. You can order ahead on the app, but it still not ready by the time the apps says. The staff is friendly and work fast, but they are usually slammed.

First time to Pita Pit and even though it was a long line and they were understaffed, they stayed positive and polite and took the time to explain the process to beginners. Wilber deserves a raise- multitasking to the max while trying to train and maintaining a positive attitude to both his trainee and customers. He busted *** and got the job done. Food was good.

Best customer service I have received any where in a long time. This man gave me all the options that could possibly improve my order to help make me the tastiest pita I've ever had.

I ordered the chicken souvlaki online. They don't have the chicken souvlaki meat. They didn't have the right chicken meat last year do to supply problems. If they don't have souvlaki meat then that pita shouldn't be an option on their menu. I got grilled chicken meat instead and my sandwich was terrible, I threw half away. Its not cheap either, $13 for a sandwich.

This was a first visit to PitaPit. Pretty tasty! I feel obligated to mention our cook Danada. She was working totally alone and had seven plus orders to handle all at once. She remained calm, cool, and collected and was efficient in her work and getting us our food in a reasonable time. Danada should get a raise or a promotion or something for her hard work!!!!!!

First time and it didn't disappoint. Staff (although new and in training) are super nice and helpful for first timers. I had three buffalo chicken and the spices were really good. Other meals the family had were all reported to be very good as well. 👍👍

Absolutely lovely place, had to find a good place for lunch and we were out of town and it’s perfect for such situation! I’m from Europe and had a lot of Greek food and I can confirm this place is really up there and I’d recommend it for anyone who loves quality food for a good price!!!

This is a great location centrally located in midtown. I am partial to the quinoa and rice bowls. With a generous assortment of toppings and so many really delicious condiments it is hard to imagine everyone not finding something they will enjoy there. I highly suggest adding oregano to everything!

This particular Pita Pit is unmatched in quality and customer service! Everyone is kind and inviting and they're happy to walk you through their variety of options which can be intimidating for first timers. I've become a lover of Pita Pit not just because of the delicious and healthy options, but because of the staff here at this location. A+++++++ I have no negatives to offer.

Seems like just about the healthiest food in town! Delicious too! Pick & choose your favorite fillings to go into the pita bread! Love the Quinoa option! Unfortunately, because of covid, there's no dine in service available at this time. One of our favorite places to grab a quick, healthy bite to eat!

Great place to stop for a gluten free wrap. Baja Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap is my favorite. Their gluten free wraps are great and the staff are awesome about loading up the pitas. Gluten free wrap are an extra $2. I'd come here more often if the gluten free wrap substitution was cheaper. The workers are always friendly with asking about the allergy and offer to use different cooking equipment. I can do cross contamination, but it's nice for them to consistently offer this.

They were out of steak, so that was disappointing. Had to have chicken. This used to be a favorite, but Probably won't go back for a while now. Poor management. Its also take out only.

This store is pure magic! Wilbert (General Manager) and his team make every visit to this particular store feel like such an uplifting and positive experience. By the time I head back out the door, I have a pep in my step and a smile on my face. The store is clean, the pita's are the cat's meow (they always go above and beyond to make sure everything is exactly right) and the employees are so kind and have such an infectiously positive attitude, it's incredible! You'll leave here full, happy and with a regained faith in humanity. Thank you!

This was my first time ever trying Pita Pit and the staff was very patient and helpful explaining the items on the menu to me. I chose the Super Greek Pita and it was amazing! Very delicious pita, clean building, helpful and friendly staff. I will be coming back for sure to try other menu items.

I'm not going to say much other than this is going to be one of my favorite stops in Anchorage and I look forward to finding more Pita Pits based on my experience here. Definitely recommend.

Wilbert (General Manager) Has been here for years and been rocking it through thick and thin. He makes sure the orders are fine tuned and calls if there is any doubt with an order placed online. I love this specific Pita Pit thanks to this guy and those team members that have stuck around!

This was my first visit to a pita pit. It's like subway, with a grill. Excellent customer service and very tasty.

Pita Pit's great! I've been to this location many times and have always had good service. I had an issue with an order I placed online today, and instead of giving me a partial refund, WIlbert (who I'd assume is one of the managers) ended up refunding the whole order for me! And this hasn't been the first time they've gone above and beyond to make the customer happy. :) Great customer service, and awesome pitas!

Sometimes they make you a good size pita. Sometimes they really skimp and it isn't worth paying for. Depends entirely on the server. Good luck.

Excellent super Greek pita with chicken breast and extra veggies etc. GF got a pesto pita, she said, "Legit."

The staff is always so friendly! The manager keeps the place well staffed and very clean. I wish I would’ve caught the cashier’s name. They gave such excellent service and everything was so quick! Definitely my favorite food stop in town.

Grilled veggies from my wrap made its way into my kids wrap, not ideal for the picky eater. Def order ahead for lunch/busy times but other wise had a lot of different and delicious options and will visit again to try more for myself.

My child ordered falafel wrap and the falafel were not cooked through. I would suggest cooking longer for health reasons and taste.

Amazing customer service! The staff went out of their way to please. Only down side is the hours are not the same as posted. Location said it opened at 10 to 8 and hours are actually 11 to 7.

This was my very first time coming here and the service was excellent. The cashier walked a large group of us first tiger's through the menu and the process with an amazing attitude. The workers down the line were very attentive with our group and made sure we got just what we wanted. Upon taking my first bite I am hooked and will definitely be going back!

Never a disappointment . Dagwood, Buffalo chicken, breakfast, bacon chicken... they're all great! The staff is always extremely courteous . Always. Extremely. That isn't as important as the great food, but it is nice to feel welcome.

This is my go to place for lunch.

Colleague and I had lunch here for three consecutive days. This place has food right for lunch. I had their falafel wrap, boom boom bean patty and questpita in these three days. Staffs are very friendly and you get to choose what you want in wrap and see they preparing. This place is busy and most people take out the food. I understand they have been serving this area for last five years and I liked the way they have writing which says Pita when read reverse means A Tip’ 😀 The reason for me removing one star is, they grill both meat and veggies stuff in same grill and I being vegetarian won’t like that stuff. They also use same mixing stuff.
