Stopped on our way back from the House on the Rock. Burgers were excellent and the fries and spicy cheese balls were amazing! Service was quick and servers friendly.

Best Reuben! Drinks were great and reasonably price. Great, friendly service.

Greaat little place in the country for drinks and food

Upon visiting the House on the Rock, we have recently gone to this bar and grill nestled in the countryside and had a fantastic experience. Despite its small size, the place exudes a cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The service was good, with friendly and attentive staff who ensured our visit was enjoyable from start to finish. The beer selection was nice, as well. Speaking of food, the burgers were nice - juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The appetizers were equally delightful, providing a great start to our meal. Overall, this bar and grill is a hidden gem in the countryside, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a great ambiance. It is also a very affordable place.

Phenomenal steak at what appears to be a dive bar. An old country store turned into a tavern = country gem one must find!

It is a cool and unique place to stop at and have something to eat or drink. The bartenders were very polite. The bar itself looked spotless, and the walls were well decorated in a cool way. Even the old gas pump in front of the main entrance added a lot to the atmosphere. The food is simply delicious.

Had steak there last night. Would have never thought to order steak at a bar like this. However it was awesome and I will be going back often.

The place is SUPER cool with all kinds of awesome musical artist's pictures and photographs on the walls. The staff were awesome and friendly. The day we went, they served me the best ribeye sandwich I've ever had in my life!

The service was great, my Texas Burger was at least 1/2 pound of excellent meat, fries were crispy perfect. Love stopping in when I'm passing through this part of Wisco.

We were in the area for the weekend and decided to stop after reading the reviews and it did not disappoint! The service was great, the food was great, the prices were great and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. No one left hungry and we will definitely make the drive again. If you are looking for a unique place to go this is it!

If you are visiting this area or camping at the Governor Dodge State Park what to go to a unique turn of the century bar and grill this is the place. It's older and cozy place that is immaculately clean, great memorabilia,excellent services and great food especially there French fries. Once you eat this fries you will never what to eat McDonalds fries again. It's great place

I cannot say enough good things about this little known establishment. Down right delightful food with large portions; come hungry for sure. The shrimp po boy is a staple and a must try. The brisket burger should not be passed up. Get the boom boom sauce even if its on the side to try it with your meal or fries. The place is an old general store but is a healthy balance of a biker slash cowboy bar. There are high line tie-outs in the back for those riding from Gov dodge state park (about an hour ride on the trail from equestrian camp). Take the time to walk around and absorb the history thats posted on the walls and at the coffee table that has old yearbooks and nostalgia waiting to be read. Stop by you will not be disappointed by the friendly service and warm atmosphere.

Great food. They always have good daily specials, usually beef. Cool old building, great vibe. Out in the middle of nowhere. We often ride motorcycles there from Madison, very biler friendly place.

Really fun out-of-the-way bar and grill with great pub fare. The BBQ ribs on Thursday evenings are incomparable.

We came across this restaurant by accident and are SO glad we found it!! Great food and service. We followed their advice and added the “Boom Boom” sauce to our chicken sandwich and hamburger. What a great mid-stop for lunch!!

Great cute little restaurant/ bar.. it's cool to feel the old world vibe when it probably was a general store. You can tell it's a local hang out with a chill vibe. Decor was cool to look at and the views on the ridge is breathtaking!! Food was on point! I had the shrimp po boy one of the better shrimp po boy I've had the shrimp was tender and the bread was soft and the coleslaw topping was a nice added flavor profile. My husband had the brisket burger and he was amazed by the tenderness and quality of the meat. The only negative is the bathroom, the owners should consider a new toilet seat in the ladies bathroom. It really takes away from the rustic upscale vibe with a nasty seat. We will return again it was a pleasant surprise for some great food and awesome for an off the beating path place. Hopefully next time the bathroom seat will be upgraded to reflect the rest of the place. Thanks for this great local spot!

This is a quirky local hangout. They love their customers. I haven't had a burger yet, but friends absolutely rave about them. There are lots of alcoves and even a nice outdoor patio. This place is really tucked away, but if you are out crusing on a motorcycle, it's a great place to stop.

How could one describe Pleasant Ridge Store (P Ridge) and do it justice? "Quaint" may be a start? To be honest, you should just check it out. Maybe go on Wednesday for Chuck night have a $2 cheeseburger, $2 fries, a Dr. Pepper... they seem to have a pretty good selection of local beers, too. If there's one downside, which is also an upside, is that it is a pretty small place. There's nowhere to really add on, but I'm sure they don't want to, and I'm sure the customers don't either. Try their ribs!

This Bar was so cute! Lots of fun signs and pictures on the wall. The staff was really friendly! Has an amazing view from the deck. Only down side was the kitchen was closed, but it was a Sunday night.
