The bar has everything you would ever want. Great drinks, food and music. Two pool tables and a spacious deck. Very clean and drinks won’t break the pocket book.

Food and service was great. Would definitely come here again!

Well, it's my birthday.... so far it has been rater awesome. The night is still young and the crowd is picking up. Drinks are cheap, music is country, and the people are friendly

Went there to meet a group of friends - good place to meet - plenty of room - big parking lot with easy access to the highway.

Nice place close to where we hike at Mirror Lake State Park. Decent burgers but no fried foods. Good service with a smile and cold beer. I like that it is out of the busy Dells area.

Coldest beer anywhere hands down. Always has ice crystals in it! Love the atmosphere and the bartender is the best there is! So many other bartenders should watch how it is supposed to be done by watching her work!

They have a new Rental Space for Parties, it's very nice!! Has Patio with tables,bar and stools and comes with a Bartender when you rent. Very nice ❤️

Bar owner/operator is a top 3 bartender of all time that we have experienced. Very personable and super attentive. You won't get bad service at the bar here! Some newer lights and lighting have brightened up the place now if that funky smell can just get taken out of the equation.....

I haven't been in Poor Nates for many years Went there for stepson birthday party I was surprised on clean the place was Friendly staff and patrons. Met some people who knew my friend.

Can't speak for the locals, but for those travelers staying in the The Dells area, this place is perfect to get away from the madness, including any family members who won't be able to find you here - definitely off the beaten path. Not an extensive menu, just your core bar basics. Drinks are cold & fairly priced.

Had a 4 meat pizza for lunch, not bad for a frozen pizza. Nice country bar!
