I went today for a sub, and they were really conservative with the amount of chicken on my sub. Happily, this is not my preferred store, and I’m sure now I’m not coming back.

What can I say it's Publix. Clean, bright and organized. It has everything you would need from a grocery+ store.

I went there for the Wednesday sushi special, but all they had was spicy stuff. Little disappointed, but I like their sushi very much.

Ordered a spongebob cake a week early to make sure it's fresh and was stale no strawberry filling and no cheesecake frosting paid $3 extra and needs improvement last time I'll order a cake from Publix period

People are courteous and friendly, they always have what I need and then some. They offer great deals on BOGO and the rewards program is fantastic! I get free stuff for my birthday and half way to my birthday, also for my membership anniversary. I just love this store

I have to give it up for Publix Tavares, a great job to the employees and store managers. Only problem I have is at 7pm there no chicken tender after this time per a employee. So I refuse to ask certain associates do to that blow off. But i did find the deli manager and she brought us out some fresh tenders. Thank You This is my creation after getting those tender. Thank You Guys For Being Awesome 👌

They always seem to have everything in stock that's on sale. The employees are very helpful they'll even take you to the very item that you're looking for I definitely enjoyed this Public's the best

I love Publix, but with the times I only go because they are usually the closest, just too expensive

Very wide isles, a plus People who work their very friendly prices are great

Awesome salads. The hot honey chicken tender salad is a must try. Ranch is perfect on those one.

High prices but good quality foods. Deli sandwiches are excellent.

Exceptional customer service is clearly a high priority at Publix Tavares Crossroads, setting an industry standard for extraordinary courtesy. It's such a rare pleasure to shop at a business where clientele are valued, as reflected in every employee's genuine kindness and consideration.

The Deli is very slow and inconsistent. Even ordering ahead is unpredictable. Rarely is my order ready when promised and rarely is the order correct or sliced as ordered. Also, they run out of certain items and the shelves will be empty for weeks...and yet the other Publix locations in the same area keep those same goods in stock. Publix needs competition.

The bakery smells like heaven 😋 and they make these amazing cookies with so many mini M&M's that there is hardly any cookie dough- you have to shut your eyes when you take that first bite *** BLISS

Braden did an amazing job we showed up at closing an orderd a Italian wrap and a Philly cheese steak sub and the had a smile on his face and was just in a great mood and said he has only been working here for a week . Publix needs more workers like this young kid I hope they take good care of him. Awesome service

This is a fairly new Publix. I've just moved here myself. The folks there are really nice really quite different than from where I used to live.

During a very difficult time for my family we placed a large order and I cannot express my sincere appreciation to Ryan in deli.his compassionate concern should be recognized. We were very pleased with everything. Yes, publix is higher but everyone has a can do attitude. It's clean and well run.

I have shopped this Publix location on State Road 19 a few times. It is comparable to the other two locations of East Leesburg and Eustis. The one factor that I didn't like was trying to get back on 19 to go North. It wasn't easy to navigate back in the direction I wanted to go.

They should give out a plastic cake cutter/server for all cakes

I have been coming to this Publix for 6 yrs. It is my neighborhood Publix. It is never fully stocked. The vegetables are old before you buy them. That is if there are any. And when asked where all the tomatoes are the produce guy just says “I haven’t gotten to it”. There are freezer doors that are broken. I guess if you don’t live in Dr. Phillips you don’t get the good stuff. I’ve shopped many Publix and I have never been this dissatisfied.

I shop here I love it. This place is awesome and super clean. This review is not for the store though. It is for a worker. “Kim” approached us as a bagger with such an attitude bagging everything throwing everything in the bag and a lot of things inside actually spilled. She had an attitude the whole time she was talking and saying something. It’s sad that people like this can mess up a good reputation for a store. Beyond disappointed, everytime I go here I’m treated with respect as it should be. Unfortunate some people act like this.

Recently I have purchased subs/ wraps from the Deli. I purchased a sub on 3/26/24 by ordering online- order ahead. When I got my sub, it was loaded with mayonnaise. I never ordered mayonnaise. It was also very sloppily made. I chalked it up to someone having a bad day. I wasn't planning on leaving a review about it, until today. Today 4/08 I ordered a a sub, and a wrap. Again, I ordered online/ ordered ahead and I had selected an 11:10 am pickup time. When I got there, it was not ready until 11:29 am. The Deli Associate said that the order didn't print. Again, I kind of just chalked it up to a bad day. Well, then I got home and found the paper around my husband's wrap was damp, and the outer bag was damp, you could even call it wet. 🤮 It was also very sloppily made. I very rarely register complaints, especially with Publix, because I love Publix, but I felt I needed to write this review. The product and service that I have received from the Deli at Tavares Crossroad is NOT the Publix standard of quality and service. At almost $20.00 for a sub and a wrap, the quality should be the best. Hopefully the Deli associates responsible for this less than acceptable service/ product will get some updated training and performance improvement. I'll be back, eventually, but it won't be soon. Twice in two weeks having negative experiences is enough to convince me to stay away. Sad, because I love this store, but because of these two recent experiences, I have deleted my previous 5 star review.

Superb courtesy is clearly a priority throughout the store, and thoughtfulness evident on a level rarely experienced elsewhere. Their welcoming, genuinely pleasant attitude toward customers is enormously appreciated by those of us who happily drive a few extra miles (by-passing Lake Harris Publix, which is only 2 miles from our residence) to enjoy superior service at Publix Tavares Crossroads. Very grateful for this wonderful store; many kind thanks.

Every time i have ordered a cake for my kids they have made them worst and worst.This year i ordered 3 cakes disappointed every time but never called to complain, this time was ridiculous! Very upset, they Spelled my son’s name wrong.They Got the age wrong and looked very rushed .(game cake was suppose to be “level 9” for age 9) I had my cousin pick the cake up she didn't catch all the mistakes ounce i did, I called in about it , all i got was they can remake one tomorrow and it can be picked up…. Which is pointless !So my sons cake for his party was a mess ,

Amazing Publix. Love going to this location. Today I was looking for something specific and I went up to an employee “Aleshia” and see wouldn’t stop helping me find the product. She even chased me and my husband down to show us that she found it for us. Truly such exceptional service here! Publix really is where shopping is a pleasure.

Looks great clean organized freindly

We were looking for floating candles and went down the aisle where the candles are. A gentlemen straightening merchandise on the shelves greeted us as we walked by and we continued on to the section where the candles are stocked. We didn't see any so we stopped back by him to ask if they carried them in another section. He immediately stopped what he was doing and looked on his phone app with several different searches and let us know that unfortunately they didn't have any. His service was just what we've come to expect from Publix and it's nice that even on a busy day, the associates still take time to fulfill that promise.

It's the closest Publix to my house but I'm not satisfied with the quality...we have been disappointed several times... guess Leesburg it is...

It’s one the best of the town the service is accessible, the people are very nice , and always ready to go overboard by helping a customer, they’re very polite and patient, so therefore if you are a visitor it’s a most to check it out

This store is so better stocked than my usual store. They had the best escarole I've ever see. I bought 8 beautiful heads.

Couldn’t be happier with this Publix The experience from Publix very rarely disappoints .  One of the greatest things about living in Florida is Publix doesn't matter if it's the selection of meats , baked goods from the bakery , or freshly  sliced cheese from the deli . It's always a cut about the rest . The layouts are not uniform, but it's always pretty easy to come in and find it exactly what  you need . Generally though they need more staff in the Deli because they cannot handle the lunch rush for Pub subs . sometimes you have to wait 20/30 minutes just to get a sandwich even if you ordered ahead online . But even then it's worth it because the same size Sandwitch at any other shop would cost twice as much . The Boars Head meat and cheeses are always phenomenal . I would stay away from the pre cut meats as the are not always fresh . I have been burned. To many times when I have been in a rush don't forget to treat yourself to the best tasting chocolate chip cookies  this side of the Mississippi. I would wholeheartedly recommend this Publix to my friends and family or anyone in the area . Most definitely can not  go around.

Very friendly service & amazing subs at the deli. Also I love that the restrooms are in the front of the store so I didn't have to limp all the way to the back.

We shopped here while we were at Mission. Very well stocked and a very knowledgeable staff. The meats and vegetables are fresh and delicious!

GR8 service in the Deli, and all around. Young man named Reese was GR8 with customer service, the shelf was Empty of the BOGO kens honey mustard, at 20:45, he went to the back room, and found a whole case!!! OUTSTANDING! (much appreciated 🫶)!

Love how most Publixes are set up the same, organized the same, and have the same prices. Even though this Publix is set up a little different, it still displays the “Publix” brand as nicely as the others. The staff and management are very nice.

The items I need are always in stock & it's a very clean store. I love their deli food & sushi. Everything is always fresh. The only thing I wish they had was a self checkout. 4/5 stars would recommend!
