Bella Nonna used to be THE PLACE for Italian. My family has been ordering here since we moved in the area 5 years ago. Ever since the new ownership, the quality of ingredients and preparation of the food has gone down. It's still "good", which is why I still give it 3 stars, but sadly the restaurant is not even close to what it used to be. It's really disappointing. I hope management will take these comments to heart because I don't want to stop coming here.

Losers!! Lost a good customer for life! I've ordered several times for delivery never for pick up. Manager got on the phone told me I ordered wrong. I did NOT! Told me I'd have to wait for my $60 worth of food to be delivered cold because I made a mistake. NO I DID NOT. I paid delivery fee plus tip. To just be told I'm busy and don't have time to deal with you so I'm refunding your money and screw you. Shame on you. Terrible customer service

If your from NY, PA, or NJ, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Service was awesome atmosphere was nice. Clean restaurant, but the pizza crust was burnt not up there on the top of my list.

We went for the first (and last) time Thursday night. Reviews we read were all good. Place was clean, waitress was very nice, and aroma was appatizing. Ordered drinks, and salad, and pizza. Drinks were cold, salad was good, but when pizza came to our dissapointment it was burnt. We debated about returning it, but since we were hungry, decided to keep it. Crust was too tough to chew, so scraped the toppings off to eat. The peperoni on top was black around edges & shriveled up. We took most of it with us, but tossed in trash when got home. Before we had even left the restaurant we had decided it was a "one & done" experience. 40$ for 2 Pepsi's, 1 small salad, and a medium pizza that was not edible was not an experience we will repeat.

Ordered dinner from Bella Nona tonight. Usually something I look forward to. Love the chicken parmesean and spaghetti. Tonight was the exception. The spaghetti and sauce was good. The chicken was not. It was dry and hard to cut into. Cutting it, it literally splintered into strips like tooth picks. I scraped the breading off and the chicken was dark in color and looked old. It will unfortunately be a while before we order again.

Terrific Italian pizzeria with entrees salads hot subs chicken wings and deserts. 8 tables with carry out. Highly recommended

This is a great little spot to visit. We happened to be searching for a new place to visit, close to home & low & behold this little jem. The pizza is great, wings are perfect & garlic knots are yummy. I will be sure to visit, yet again!

It was a small but very cute place. The margarita pizza was delicious. It had the perfect amount of cheese and grease. It has a very quiet and calm atmosphere and my waitress was super sweet. Loved it!

The food is always fresh and amazingly tasty! You can tell they don’t skip corners and only use the highest ingredients. The marinara is off the charts good! I got the large Calzone today and it was more than enough for a couple people. They can make any of their specialty pizza into a calzone. Always a pleasant experience. Customer service was very good.

Great Italian food! I had spaghetti & meatballs. My husband had chicken parm and pasta. It was ALL Awesome

Would leave the place all 5 stars other than you have to come certain days to get good service. Thursdays- Saturdays five stars all day long. Ash is awesome. Come the other days when Felix is there you may as well leave.

Stumbled across this restaurant and shure glad we did!!! The food is Awesome! And the staff is very nice. Very clean!

This restaurant was wonderful! It's a quaint place. I loved that the pizzas were baked in a brick oven. It makes for a better tasting pizza. The service was amazing! They make you feel like you're having a meal at a friend's home.

As a native New Yorker living in Florida since 1999 I have tried my share of " Real New York Pizza" and there's been a lot of misses and very little hits and I have to say Bella is a big hit. Not quite NY slice but very very close. I think I have found my go to pizzeria.

Wings, pizza and garlic knots were delicious. Service was great, server was very helpful and kind. We will definitely be back when in town.

OMG! First time ordering and wow! Garlic knots amazing, garlic sauce dripping. The cheese pizza took me back to Italy! I just wish I knew the recipe to the marinara dipping sauce for the knots because it was to die for 😋

We have been visiting Bella Nonna for over a year. Their prices are very reasonable. Our normal order is a large pepperoni pizza or a beef, onion, mushroom pizza. We have ordered their garlic rolls to go a few times and a garden salad. The garlic rolls have not been my most favorite compared to other local mom and pop restaurants. Last night we tried a small deluxe pizza in addition to our pepperoni pizza to try some of their other items on the menu. It was fresh and piping hot when I picked it up. We have not had a bad experience at all and the food is always fresh and hot. While we have not dined in for dinner, the restaurant is always very clean, orderly and busy at peak times. ***If you order, please be mindful of their busy hours and do not get discouraged. I called my order in at 6:35 pm on a Friday night and I was told it would be 30-40 minutes for pick-up. It was just coming out of the oven at 7:05 pm when I checked in with them.*** It is good to see a local business is doing so well. Give them a try! You will be glad you did. - I did not take photos. Next time I will.

I've lived on Deer Island for 10+ years and driven by Bella Nonna 1,000+ times. Finally gave it a try and it was FANTASTIC. I told them I was "picky" and like my pizza made in a particular way and they NAILED IT. We'll be back, DEFINITELY!

We got pizza and wings to go. This is one of the best pizzas we've had in the area. The wings were very good as well. Staff was friendly. Will definitely be back.

Deluxe pizza was delicious. Not over cooked. Delivery was expected in 45 minutes but it came in 30 minutes. Will definitely order again

Our first visit! We ordered take out pizza and salad. We were not disappointed! The pizza was made exactly as ordered. It was great and we were so happy to get an ample amount of cheese! The salad was fresh and good! We will definitely order again.

Best "northern style" pizza in Florida. Good crisp crust. We typically get a 14" deluxe. Recommend Bella Nonna highly.

Great food, very very tasty. Italian food is easy enough to do ... but delicious Italian... not so much. People there are super nice. Price is very reasonable. But it is a hole-in-the-wall .....

Just a simple place. Had the lunch special, 2 slices 1 topping and a drink under $10.00. Nice people too.

My original review from March was 5 stars because it was really good. We ordered from here last night and we were disappointed. The order was placed online and it showed that the order would be ready between 5:06 and 5:21. We arrived at 5:06. The order was ready but the pizza was not as hot as it should have been. When we arrived home (literally about 5 minutes later) and started eating the pizza, it was obvious that the pizza had been ready awhile before 5:06. It was just ok. We were not impressed and actually disappointed with the quality and temperature. It will be awhile before we order from here again. We stopped here for dinner last night and ordered the garlic knots and sausage brickoven pizza. Everything was great!

I thank you for my special order of the sub I got tonight. Eggplant, no sauce plus lettuce tomatoes onions and dressing on the side. It paired nicely with the Greek salad!

This place is great. The pizza is always perfect. My only sad thing is they no longer do bundle specials. The Pizza/Wing combo was our to go. But still A+ plizza and the knots!!!

Overall, I'd say mediocre from the food to the staff. We had a to-go order, but I think that's all it needed to be.

Even though it's located in the cut, this pizza 🍕 spot is very nice! For sure it's a peaceful environment, relaxing vibes waiting for your meal and windows where you can see whats going on outside. The hostess and waitress Ash was definitely on point with customer service and made my breddrin and I feel at home and welcomed. I would definitely come back for the food AND the service.. even a date night 😁

We went to Bella Nonna for the garlic rolls (yum!) and pizza and got a Caesar salad too .. and everything was fantastic! The atmosphere is very casual with booths and checkered tablecloths but no specific decor which is why I gave it 4 stars for atmosphere. But there is nothing unpleasant or dissatisfying about it!

Except for it always being crowded, it's my son's and me's favorite Italian place

My friends and I love this restaurant. I love the wings: they are so crispy and good, and they give a big portion of ranch or blue cheese. My favorite are the garlic Parmesan wings. My daughter loves the hot honey wings

I waited a couple trips before making my review.. This place uses high quality product and the consistency is spot on. I drive past 3 pizza places to get here. You won’t be disappointed with food or the service. As for the one star reviews, those are just haters, trying to drop ratings on this almost perfect place. Stick to the food reviews not some nosy person listening to other peoples conversations. If her man’s conversation was that great, she wouldn’t of heard everything the girls were saying.

Bella Nonna is awesome! Girlfriend and I came in for dinner, the staff is great friendly fast and checked on us the whole time we were there! Food is amazing, Started out with the garlic knots, (they will fill you up) highly recommended. We ordered the 16” meat lovers! Omg!! It was so delicious! Live in south Florida and wish we had this place down there! Thank you for excellent food and dinning experience!! A+A+A+

I picked up the order. The web page app is easy to use. This place for my first experience here rated a sold 4.7 Stars. I orderez the Amant'e D'Carne pizza with some Garlic Parm wings, Mozzarella sticks and fried Mushrooms. The pizza crust was perfect with a slight bark on it in some areas. It was not floppy nor was it overly salty like the large corporate brands. The fresh Basil placed on it after the bake brightened an already delicious pizza nicely. The mushrooms were crisp. The mozzarella sticks were crisp and stringy. The wings are comparable to a Wing focused restaurant. There is alot more on the menu to try. The only 2 negatives. The Marinara sauce while nicely flavored was almost refrigerator cold and the Horse Radish sauce lacked a the Horse Radish bite. The staff was welcoming, polite and professional. It's a small place, but it must be popular as the seating was almost at capacity for a Wednesday evening. Check it out for yourself. It's not on the Warf in Genoa Italy, but it's really good. I was pleasantly surprised.

I stopped for lunch at Bella Nonna on a early Wednesday at 11:30am. I was warmly welcomed and seated at a comfortable booth. The music was at a nice low volume on the TV and the server took my drink order promptly. The food was hot and fresh! My sandwich was an amazing blend of fresh ingredients. My glass never went empty and the service was prompt at all times! I love the small town places like this. I will definitely return!

I live an hour away, and it's a monthly tradition to visit my favorite pizza, knots and wings restaurant. Always super friendly and quick service. My friend and I order enough to take leftovers. YUMMY!!

Great pizza at a great price. Another hidden gem

One of the best chicken wings I’ve had. Drove by a few times and finally decided to stop today. Started with the garlic knots. That were homemade, fresh and quite delicious. Then the garlic butter wings came out. The color, the seasoning, the taste and the way they were cooked can only be described as PERFECT. To top it all off the service was on par with most upscale restraints. The server always seemed to appear at the right time. This is going to be my new go to for wings.

Very Good. Really enjoyed the garlic knots, mozzarella sticks, their marinara sauce, and eggplant parmesan dinner. Was a miss with the breaded mushrooms. Will go back again. Best Italian I've had in years.

I would pass this every time I’m on my way to Tampa and finally went in the other day, the char pepperoni is to die for definitely stopping everything I come from Volusia county

Excellent food and excellent service! I think Ash was the only one on shift and she handled the entire restaurant on her own with grace. Highly recommend.

Was always very good pizza when frequenting this business until last night with our neighbors! Their pizza was very burnt, to the point I would have refused it. Our pizza was also burnt but not as bad. Service was noticeably lacking, don't know what happened but will have to think hard about returning. Tried it again this week! The Pizza was excellent! Courtney was the server! Told her about our bad experience 2 months ago, she took very good care of us! Service and Pizza was tops!! Will go again!!
