Small place but real Colombian taste

Great take out dinner this evening. I had the breaded chicken cutlet dinner with rice, beans and plantains and tried the beef empanada. Food was awesome. I’ll be back!

I forgot to take pics of the food, which was delicious and the service was great. The only reason I didn't give it all 5 starts is because they tables were so sticky, could ha e been wiped down. Other than that, awesome.

I have been coming here since they open the doors and I will continue to come back. They are beyond friendly and the food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Their menu options are great and you get so much food for such a little Price. This place is always well kept maintained and very clean, the owner and all the employees have consistently provided stellar service and stellar menu items

Small place but very good food a d generous portions.

The flavors are always on point 👌👍. This is not fast food, so dont expect to be in and out in a rush and be prepared to dish out a little more than usual, but its worth it.

The food is delicious, the staff are polite, and the atmosphere, though a smaller setting, is welcoming! My family LOVES the Super Tostones! It's basically "loaded" tostones. Absolutely delicious. We've enjoyed the empanadas as well. Typically, we get the same thing every time with a coconut soda or a Postobon to pair with it!

Que-Rico is absolutely great! The food is fantastic, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is fun! This is also a local establishment which is fantastic to support. My favorite dish is the chicken empanadas with the aji sauce added to the side!

This comment is for improvement… the bandeja paisa is one if the more expensive ones in a colombian restaurant in the USA and is very little for 23 dollars. The rest of the food was good. Juices are not natural

Wow. Amazing food and service. This place is packed every time I visit the area. I believe it has outgrown itself with all the customers they have. The food is authentic columbian, fresh and good. There is always a line up for food, but service is quick. There is seating accommodation but I always order to go. I ordered beef soup and a sour sop drink this time and it didn’t disappoint!

My family and I visited for the first time yesterday and what a nice experience we had! Staff was super friendly, and ensured we had what we needed. But the food, omg the food was so good! Even our toddlers can’t wait to go back!

We’ve eaten food from Que-Rico several times, both dine-in and take-out, and the food is always delicious, the servings generous and the service always great. Que-Rico is among the best eats available in the NP area.

Little taste of heaven. The food was delicious, everything was homemade, fresh food and the owner even came out to say hi. The red salsa is a must if you like heat with your meal.

First time having Colombian food and I have to say it was amazing. Full of flavor and just absolutely delicious. We ordered the chicken arepas, beans and rice, steak arepas and grilled chicken and rice dish. Food was very fresh and prepared with care. Restaurant was extremely clean and Eunice was professional and pleasant. Everything was so good. I would definitely recommend this family owned establishment.

I've been eating here for quite some time now. I personally like to dine in but their takeout options are also available. Most items on the menu are good flavors are good and just brings me back to the Country of Colombia with their authentic dishes. It's another win for Que Rico in my book

Second visit. This time we had lunch. The food is absolutely wonderful. Not spicy, but flavored to perfection!! So far I have had the grilled steak dinner and now the grilled chicken lunch. I am excited for our next visit to try another different meal. Very friendly family owned restaurant. A nice place to visit in North Port.

First time here, we were greeted by a female behind the counter, and we were told to order first and then grab a table if we were going to eat there. It is a tiny place with about five small tables. We got our food quickly. We asked for some sauce on the side, and we're told there is a dollar charge; you would think there would be a different approach to handling that with a first customer. The food tasted very good and fresh.

Maria, took our order and served us our wonderful meal. A gentleman came around ensuring everyone had what they needed. Food was authentic and amazing. The restaurant and restroom were kept very clean and organized.

The pulled brisket plate is out of this world. My parents have never had Colombian and really enjoyed their meals too. Definitely stop in and try their wonderful food.

As the name implies... delicious!!! The restaurant is small and a large group came in right before us so we were prepared to have to wait for our order. Wrong! Hot, deliciousness was sitting in front of us within minutes. Also, I wasn't super hungry and when the food came it was a large plateful. Yes people, I ate the entire plate of the best tasting shredded pork I've ever eaten. I was looking to see what everyone was ordering and it all looked pretty amazing. We will 100% be back. As an added bonus, it also didn't cost $100 for 2 people to have lunch (which seems to be the norm anymore). Actually, $33 which included 2 entrees, 1 tres leches cake and some bottled water. Que Rico is a win for diners for sure!

l would not eat here again, the bandeja paisa is 20 dollars and it is just a thin piece of meat beat with a tenderizer to try to cover up the cheap cut it is. The plate is served with oranges and some pieces of lettuce, onions and tomatoes ?! The authentic dish has bananas not oranges. The frijoles are not even antioquenos so not authentic at all and is only about three small spoonfulls. The portions are very small and this dish is supposed to be a hefty meal and for a small place it took long to be served AND THE WORST IS THEY GIVE YOU PAPER PLATES AND PLASTIC UTENSILS, ARE YOU KIDDING ME !

One of the best restaurants in the area!

My first try of Columbian cuisine and the flavors are amazing! Good selection on the menu. Spinach and cheese empanadas with cilantro sauce and pico is my favorite. The Super Arepa had rave reviews online and... YUM!! Friendly staff, clean dining room with a comfortable atmosphere. Shopping center parking with handicap space right in front. Update: I've become a repeat customer. The food and flavors are consistent every time.

Food is great , service is fantastic but prices are not reasonable comparing to others restaurants in the area I find out that they are over price , specially been a carry out rest .
