Absolutely delicious home made from scratch food! We loved it so much we literally ordered seconds of everything! The proprietor and team were all so warm and welcoming. ❤️

My family was visiting for a fishing trip and Ray's was the only place actually serving dinner after 9PM. Such awesome staff and delicious food! We're so glad to find this place.

I've been there a many times ... normally, it's good. Stopped in to place a to go order, not a delivery order, and the older barmaid with yhe long blond hair said it would be an hour for an order of wings and walked away. Didn't take my order ... just walked away. I thought to myself, would it take an hour if I was sitting at a table? I wasn't asking to have it delivered ... just put my order in line with everyone else's. And even the hour wouldn't have been so bad ... but the attitude and disregard? No. So I drove to Verns and got wings, fingers and rings (to go) that were fabulous ... and the people were friendly!

I go for the wings and they have amazing roast beef special!

Fresh and simple pub food, well prepared with good service. A perennial favorite for a simple meal.

Try the fish fry was great first time there walked in greeted by three people we knew about a 30 minute ride but worth it will be back

I ordered a burger with no Sriracha on it. It arrived with it at the table. The burger was okay, but when you ask for something not to be on it, you expect no hot sauce.

Fantastic restaurant and pub. Here we got to know the real American world on our journey through the west. We had the best food we ate in America here. We tried to get chicken wings elsewhere, but they didn't have them anywhere else as good. For us Europeans, it was an amazing American dinner with a real American pub culture. We started talking with the owner and it was hard for us to leave. It was an experience I will never forget. I warmly recommend it not only to Europeans :-).

Walked in was seated ....the vibe was so hostile I turned and quietly walked out...the place is only for a certain type of people.

Came across this place randomly and so glad we did. Amazing food, amazing service, friendly staff. Now one of my favorite places. Great fish fry, beef on weck, and chicken parm sandwich. Our waitress was Tanya (think that’s her name) and she was so nice. The owner came around and greeted everyone and made sure we liked our meals. We love about an hour away but will be back often.

This felt like a hometown hangout tavern. Great food. Cold beer. Locals love it.

My gf and I stopped in here for the first time and we both had chicken sandwiches with fries. One of the best sandwiches either of us had ever had. Fries were very tasty as well. Fresh, hot and delicious! Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

You can’t go wrong eating at Ray’s! I have loved every meal I have ever had there. The staff is always friendly. It’s a great place to show things down a bit and enjoy a wonderful meal with family and friends.

BBQ wings are awesome. Along with the Dirty Bird (chicken sandwich) and beef on week. I’m sure other items are good but these are the ones I usually order.

Wife and I were looking to get away from the hussle of the city, and found this awesome diner down a road. Bug(I believe was the servers nickname) was a wholesome guy, didnt cut corners or make it feel off just to impress some tourists. He was down to earth and made us feel like locals. Family owned for 3 gens so far, surviving COVID plus whatever else the world could throw at it. This diner was the perfect getaway from the grind of consumerism. We got the Texas burger specially made for the misses for food allergies and they had no problem accommodating. The burger was cooked perfectly to specs and the fair style fries tasted like damn potatoes, gatta love it. If you hit the Old fort then take a stop for lunch and enjoy the quite cozy spot that feels like home.

It's a nice family restaurant! We went on a Thursday night and it was a little busy but nothing crazy. We did wait a while for our order but it was for a family of seven. My minor complaints are the waitress never came back to our table to check on us after dropping our food off (everyone has always come back at least once). My husband even had to chase her down for the check. And my son didn't finish his burger bc it was ordered well-done but it was more like medium well. They serve Coke products. However the pop price was ridiculous $3.25 for a can of pop. Prices are fair for down home cooking though!

We had the most excellent fish fry here, and the beef on weck was damn good too.

We had the Greek salad with grilled chicken, it along with the service was excellent.

Re-visiting area, this place's Wings still True to form. Mrs had a smothered chicken dish which she enjoyed. Simple, unpretentious, relaxed, neighborly & casual Restaurant.

We infrequently travel here, last time was in 2019. The food was excellent then and it's the same now. The prices are reasonable the service excellent and the owner at least I believe he is the owner was on site and watchful. Strongly recommend this restaurant.

Busy place on Friday nights due to the good food and good service. Great place to grab a bite when staying at Four Mile Creek State Park.

The last few times we've had to wait to be seated. The service is a little slower than I'd like, but our servers are always very friendly. The quality of the food is always served hot and consistent. On occasion the cook comes out and asks the customers how the food was. He's very friendly. Even with a wait here and there we will always come back for the delicious food.

Food is mediocre. I had the prime rib which was tender but bland. It's the special on Saturdays. My wife had a chicken tender salad. Tenders were heavily breaded. The best thing about my meal was the soup which was sausage and gnocchi. Staff is friendly and it's a cozy place. May go again if we're in the area, but not rushing back.

Always Rays! I've been coming to this place since I worked here back in 1988! It was under different management then, but the food is still as good as ever. It's been my place to go, for a Friday fish fry regularly, for well- since 1988! And their fresh cut fries ( I know- I used to make them- it's a unique machine- that delivers magic!) with gravy, are Must Have. Giant beef on weck. Sometimes- I even get the seafood platter with my family, instead of just the fish fry. That fish fry, is the best one around bar none. This one's worth it, enjoy the scenic drive down Rt18 ( Lake Rd.) A childrens menu is available too. My nephew loves their chicken fingers. Worthy of mention is that they have house made soup. I almost always substitute it for something else, and take it home. The haddock fish is always light and flakey, with a crispy beer batter- or try broiled. Their french fries are house cut. We also had a tender beef on weck roll, you'll be in heaven if you order gravy with that and/or the fries.I got complimentary rolls with my fish, and mini cornbread squares, on the side. If you're lucky enough to remember, (ask) if there may be a special dessert on the menu. My favorite? Lemon meringue pie! Don't wait, these homemade desserts go quick. Friendly staff, although it can get busy early (before 6p), on Friday's... so plan accordingly. I've never waited more than 15min- that's rare, and worth the wait. There are darts/pool table adjacent to the main bar, and seating as well as lotto/ quick draw. Takeout is available.( call. *ahead* during business hours) it's owner operated, and they are more than willing to accommodate. The locals are quite knowledgeable, about the Lake Ontario district/more and do freqent this establishment. Clean restrooms not wheelchair accessible though( accessible seating/parking). I support local businesses for a reason. They put their heart and soul into pleasing and you won't be disappointed. Casual attire, friendly faces. Did I mention, great buffalo wings too!

Quite possibly the best chicken wings I’ve ever had!! We got the salt & pepper wings with mild sauce on the side but didn’t even need the sauce. I highly recommend you give them a try!

Weirdly Rude! Asked to put in takeout order. “Is it for wings?” I said yes, she snapped “it’ll be an hour.” When I said that was fine she left and I could clearly hear her say, “I told this guy it’s be an hour and he still wants to order!” The second waitress came and I asked to see a menu, “EVERYTHING WILL TAKE AN HOUR” she snapped. Gotta love that hospitality!

Wings were good, medium could've used more heat, but they were crispy and juicy. Fried shrimp were good. Beef on weckdidn't have much flavor. Service was good.

Stopped by on a nature drive, food was great, service was friendly. Menu was adequate offering a variety of choices. Nice find!! Good job!

Great food and more than enough for the price. My wife and I had the meatloaf special and the fried fish platter. The meatloaf was very good and was served with mashed potatoes and gravy. We tried the beer battered fish platter with fries which were also great tasting with large portions. Highly recommended!!!

This place literally saved us on a late Saturday night! Amazing interiors, friendly owners and delicious food. Definitely try their chicken wings, we tried the hot sauce with wings and they were smokin hot! The onion rings they serve are absolutely amazing, crunchy and have the right consistency. I even tried the beers and they seem good too. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out. They're open late till midnight.

The food was good, when we were there the service was very slow. Not sure if they were short staffed or what. It's the only place around if you are staying nearby so I get that it's crowded but a little communication would have been a lot better. That being said, it's a relaxed slow placed kind of area so we enjoyed it despite the speed.

Great place right on Lake Ontario food is fantastic and fish and chips were my favorite.

We went there for Buffalo chicken wings. They were fantastic, big, although they were hotter then we remembered.

Stopped for a quick meal on a Saturday afternoon. I was seated quickly, service was good, ample menu. Ended up getting the Beef on Weck and it was good. Ray's has a nice atmosphere, seems like it is popular with locals. Would visit again if in the area. Recommend.

Food was delicious. Chicken Wings were delicious. Me and my family were staying at Daisy Barn Campground for the week.

Just arrived here after driving from Cleveland. Decided to give them a try. I ordered the Cheeseburger with fries. She ordered Beef on Weck. Both were delicious. We also ordered a slice of Carrot Cake. It was awesome. Our server Renee was very friendly and efficient. She gave us exceptional service.
