Great pancakes, service pleasant and timely.

Good food, good service & friendly staff!

We love this place! It's not super close, so we don't get out there as much as we would like, but we try! The food and service has always been great, they even get the eggs right! The bathrooms are not great, but its a busy place, so that's to be expected!

My husband and I had a first day of school brunch and it was wonderful! The service was fantastic, the restaurant was clean and the food was delicious.

I used to love this place. The food is less than mediocre. All of our meals were lukewarm. The pancakes were hard. The Benedict was awful - all the eggs were overcooked in every dish. The staff must have been having a rough day. The service was mediocre, and the staff kept slamming into tables, chairs, and customers. It was quite the experience. A cute little place to grab breakfast but I wouldn’t come back.

I LOVE this place! I'm on a super restricted diet for medical reasons and they took great care of me. The servers are friendly, the food is great, and they went above and beyond.

Welp had to down grade the rating today. Mostly due to the menu, taste and cost. The food, albeit there. Was very lack luster in flavor and it all just tasted like a unclean griddle. The menu was very vague for some reason on a bunch of things and I could not find one pre designed meal that was appealing. So ended up having to itemize my food which cost 3x as much. The bill was ridiculous 1 adult 2 kids was 60 buck + tip. Like eggs, potatoes, toast, and bacon with a sweet tea. 20 bucks a head.

What a gem of a place. Family friendly with outstanding food and even better customer service. If you’re looking for a great meal at a reasonable price, this place is for you. A+++

We like this place and we've been here few times. Today my 14 years old daughter took me out for father's day breakfast, the service was very basic and we were served the bottom of the batch home fries bits and crumbs which was not cool but what got to me the most is that from the waitress to the cashier, we didn't get a single " Happy father's day" you have a dressed up teenager taking her dad out on father's day and not a single worker there wished us a happy father's day. Restaurants have really lost their magic. People don't even try to work for their tips anymore. Well, your $5 tip could've been 10

This place use to be amazing but I go in today on fathers day and I'm by myself. I sat for over 5 min with nobody coming over to get a drink order. But there were plenty of employees hanging around the register just standing. I don't know if the owners sold it but whoever owns it now is doing a terrible job. I ended up leaving to go somewhere else.

There was a hair on my plate when our food came out, and nothing was done about it. It was barely even acknowledged when I brought up the complaint. I will not be coming back here ever again.

I love this place. Food is a good price and the servers are always really nice. The restaurant is nice and clean with good music (not too loud). The Nutella stuffed French toast is amazing. I totally recommend coming here for breakfast.

The food is delicious. This place has new owners and they are redoing the interior. Beautiful job and the service was excellent. It's a little more expensive than it was, but the quality of the food justifies it.

I order for pick up. When I got home I notice that they have place two different orders in one plate, (they may have done this to save a plate; however, that is disgusting and unacceptable to me. I had to get home and divide the food that should had been already divided by order. I know is a new owner and "yes" it looks better, and "yes" the customer service is equal to (only because a lot of the employees are the same ones) otherwise I wouldn't go there anymore, infact, I don't think I'll be going there anymore. They suck. Who ever owns them now should had never do so many changes. And is more expensive ever since they got new management. Go to First Watch. Way better for the same price now.

New owners and remodeled. The place looks nice. The food was good and nothing was cold. That deserves 5 stars . Most places, everything is cold. They have a new expresso machine. Need to train the employees on operation. Fire it up!

Went to the Recipe Box last week and it never disappoints! It wasn’t busy on a Monday morning and we were seated quickly. Service was great and food was delicious.

HUGE! Shout out to them for making my family and I have a great breakfast for Mother’s Day with no waiting and amazing service! We had a group of 14 and the owner didn’t miss a beat to accommodate us. We have been doing this for years and this was another great one in the books. ❤️.

Our go to breakfast spot. Huge portions, we always have leftovers, for a great price! And the food is always delicious. It’s always busy, but the service is always fast and efficient and the staff is so friendly!

We love everything about this place. People are wonderful, especially our server Samantha! We had the fried blueberry muffin to start and it was wonderful. The meat lovers skillet 🍳 was exactly what I needed today and Country Benny was amazing. We'll be back for sure. It's also nice to have a nice bloody Mary on a Saturday.

The Recipe Box has changed hands in the past year. The old menue and pricing has changed to keep up with current cost. I know that upset alot of the old timers that used to frequent the RB. The new owners have done a great job updating the entire restaurant and menu. It was a little slow in the beginning but the customers are coming back and its not uncommon to have to wait for a seat which is a reflection of the outstanding food, service, and management that has taken place....stop by....it's well worth it.

Overall horrible experience. If you want to sit and wait and watch people who come in after you and leave before you, this is your spot! Messed up our order, made my child wait while other people still got their food. Had to ask for coffee. Just not good. Find a McDonald's over this experience.

The Recipe Box not only has amazing and great quality food but they also make you feel as part of the family. With two babies it's always hard to keep them quiet and content and today was one of those days. From the owner and our awesome server Olivia checking on our little ones, bringing toys and engaging with them this experience was like no other. Thank you all for the experience, as well as the lady who blessed us with paying our bill. Awesome experience with awesome staff and an absolutely awesome place.

I ordered the spicy burrito, and it had more onions and sweet peppers than egg. It flat out looked unappetizing. I will not be returning. You want an excellent breakfast check out The Brunchery. Where the food tastes and looks amazing.

A friend recommended this place, and I have been going back every since. The food is extremely tasty, and the people are awesome. I will be heading in for breakfast soon.

We have been going to Recipe Box for years now and have made this our go to spot! Everyone is so friendly and the food is always SO good! Breakfast and lunch served all day so if you have a craving, you don't have to worry about timing. Samantha (server) is incredible and always treats us like family as do the other staff. Thank you all for being so amazing! Don't walk, run to this very special establishment! Weekends can be busy so try and get there before 10 am :)

Their Reuben sandwich with fries is so good! A hearty bite of slabs of delicious, quality corned beef with the perfect mix of sauciness. The fries are absolutely yummy - perfect crisp on the outside with soft potato on the inside. Match that with their delicious house ranch… just wow. A definite winner combo meal right there. The remodel looks great! Love the booths and the slight change in layout. Feels more open, inviting, and comfortable. The ladies at the front are so sweet. Excellent customer service providing an excellent dining experience. A definite go to spot in Brandon!

Recently under new management and the cost of everything seems to have went up about 3 times as much as inflation the salads are more than double in price. They also removed the tvs and nice decor.

The waiter was very outgoing and helpful. Waited over 40 minutes for our food. Which arrived cold and flavorless. Spicy skillet was not even mildly spicy. Menu says Chipotle sauce one would expect some heat. Grit could eat with a fork. The second member of our party had the meat lovers skillet. The cheese returned to a solid state from being cold. Looked like chopped meat on top of home fries. The third member had country fried steak. Cold oily home fries was how he described his meal. We all agreed it wasn't a great experience.

Wow, what a nice surprise. Small little spot, what a gem amongst the heavy hitters in the area. Menu was not overwhelming, a bit of a wait but we'll worth it. Service was awesome, but the food was outstanding. Great portions and not a ticket shock at the end. Will definitely be back. Want to try everything on the menu lol...

Very nice breakfast experience. Super clean restaurant, all staff was super friendly, our waitress was Olivia! I had gastric sleeve surgery a few years ago, so I can’t eat much, and they allowed me to order from the kids menu, which many places give me a hard time about, so that was awesome! Food was plentiful, even for the kids menu (I couldn’t finish it.) The link sausage was delicious (not some Jimmy Dean boxed sausage), they even have Sourdough bread (slight upcharge.) That’s not so common these days to find places with Sourdough anymore. If you’re looking to support a local business, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!

We only came for the corporal clints chicken and have been eating it since they used to call it the chicken benny. I took my brother there for his birthday breakfast only to discover they took it off the menu. Now its off the menu and we won't be back.

My sweet little one and I enjoyed a lovely day together, just us girls. As part of our special outing, we made sure to treat ourselves to a delightful breakfast. The food was prepared with utmost care and served to us warm and fresh, just the way we like it. The staff graciously accommodated my specific requests without any hesitation, and the waiter, in particular, displayed remarkable kindness, confidence, and respect towards every customer in the restaurant. As a result, my little munchkin was not only satisfied but also filled with joy.

Visiting the area and decided to try this local spot for breakfast...... our server James provided amazing and enthusiastic service....very clean. When the food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised....there was so much Chorizo in my plate, I had to look carefully to find the eggs....Very tasty. The pancakes were so big and fluffy and the edges were thin and crispy.....Amazing experience.

The food has changed tremendously not good. They took off a lot of the regular's favorites.

My family and I have been eating here for years, and the food and service have always been good. Today was the second time we’ve been there since the change in ownership. First time was fine, subtle changes but nothing to keep us from coming back. Unfortunately, this time I found a hair in my hash browns. I sent them back and asked for new ones to go. The waitress brought me new hash browns to go, we paid and then left. The problem I have is that we never heard from management/ownership. Not an apology or anything. I wasn’t looking for a free meal, but acknowledgement from them would have been nice especially since they’re new. It doesn’t bode well to me about how they feel about their customers.

Good food at a reasonable price. No blaring music. Wait staff is awesome. You can get a low price meal from menu and there are special deals. We walked In hungry so … well chicken and waffles bacon 🥓 bacon 🥓 bacon then , giant sausage and gravy with more bacon.. and home fries,, bagel cream cheese… 8 cups of coffee,, food coma🤤

Our waitress Olivia was great! She was very attentive. The food was delicious.. Only thing was my French toast was cold i asked for it to be heated, Olivia said she would send it back and get me a fresh order. She returned with a fresh order and they were great! I will be back!

This is an old school type diner with great food, excellent service and very affordable. You will get homestyle food like you would make at home with no clean up. 😀
