Went with group of 5 daughters b day and while the place was very slow they had us waiting for a table to be cleaned. We went to the bar for a drink while we were waiting but the bartender walked away-was gonna spends alot but I don’t suggest you go here unless you like slow to no service

I want to give 5 stars to Peaches and Jayda our waitress. I am not sure if they were understaffed but it took some time to get our food. Our waitress Jayda handled the situation with grace and was upbeat and caring while taking care of our table. Jayda was Awesome and deserves a raise! Peaches was very warm and kind when we walked in. She treated us like family and that was very nice. As mentioned the timing of receiving food and greeting up front took some time,but my husband and I remained patient and received very good customer service from the both of them. Thank you Jayda and Mias Peaches for providing great customer service. I put 3 stars for atmosphere due to the men's bathroom not working and they need to improve ventilation/ac in the restaurant. It was a bit warm.

The restaurant was not busy. The service was super slow. The food was not hot or good. I didn't even get a refill on my drink. Another customer near me yelled out. Horrible experience. Felt like we were in Alaska it’s so damn cold in there. Then were told no crab labs then no sunset passion drink because their out of pina colada. My husband's steak was dry. Food took a long time. Why didn’t they close this one. The one we usually go to is way better. But they closed that one down. Bummer.

Been going to R.L. over forty yrs! I lived in Tampa for twenty-two went to the one on the Causeway until they closed. Then on NO. Dale Mabry. Now twenty one yrs here at Lakeland. Alway satisfied. Love all their foods! Please don't close the NO. Hwy98 one! LOVEEEE,R.L! THANKS!

It's my first time here, I waited a long time for the food, they don't have anyone to make the chicken pasta with Alfredo sauce, to top it off they left the water in the sauce, what my husband ordered they didn't bring and they told us. That we had to wait 30 more minutes. And I still haven't paid for the salad, they gave me 3 logs and excess salt 🧂 salt and a little animal in the food a living hope hahaha I won't be back. The employee was very friendly and so was the employee upon entering. But I didn't like the food 3 in taste. And the raw biscuit still.

I ordered food on 06/07/2024 friday through uber eats.It was awful because once my food was delivered.My bag was not sealed and the uber driver ate 2 biscuits and i was disgusted .i put that garbage in the garbage.I called the restaurant and Taylor said she was so busy and she she did not seal some of the bags.This is playing with customers safety and health.And for the driver you know what you did was nasty and i do not like strange driver toyching my food that supposed to be delivered.People are nasty!!!!

I can’t speak to the atmosphere but we have been ordering from this red lobster for years since Covid. We order via Uber. A few glitches here and there but the food quality has been consistently high. Like tonight. Lobster and steak perfectly cooked. Quality of food just so good. Worried bc hearing of Red Lobsters shutting down. This one: value and quality.

EDIT. After another visit to this location I had to change my last review. The service has gotten a lot better in terms of speed and timeliness. Our waitress was very friendly. We were able to be seated in a timely manner. Food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the new street corn shrimp which I highly recommend.

We went one night with a large group and the next day it's bankrupt. I didn't even try the endless shrimp. But the wait staff was great. The food was standard red lobster. The corporate management hedge fund group sucks for destroying this restaurant chain. Good luck everybody and tip good.

Why do you stay open? Its obvious the food and service standards are subpar. Its been over 2 years since I was in this restaurant and that night a ceiling panel from the 80`s fell in to the Lobster tank while I was at the bar. Despite tons of butter and frying the food is farmraised and bland.

My visit was on 5/21/24 and the service I was provided was beyond exemplary all the staff from the hostess to the waiter to the managers were are friendly , patient and had no trouble assisting any of our food needs. The food prepared was very nice and hot and tasted fresh and was delicious. The team at this red lobster really show what it's like to work as a team more like a family. I'd highly recommend going to this location if you want to bring your spouse or even your family for a nice dinner or lunch the atmosphere is awesome.

If you go to this Red Lobster, expect to wait 30-60 minutes after the order was due for take out. The staff do not come out to update you on curbside, and usually you will have to go inside and talk to the manager in order to actually get the food. Avoid this place.

This was absolutely the worst experience I ever had in my life. I met a friend from out of town here for dinner and the service was horrible. We sat at the table maybe 15 to 20 minutes before the waiter acknowledged or came to take our drink orders. She never came back with our drinks. It was another waiter that noticed us complaining and came and took our drink order. Another 25 minutes before our food order was taken. My food came out totally wrong and the waiter was flustered due to the lack of staff. We asked to speak with the manager after our food came out cold, burnt and wrong. After asking to speak with the manager and being told they didn’t have time to come talk to us, we walked out! I will never return to this location nor do I recommend anyone dining there

Arrived at 8:15 seated immediately. Food came out 9:32 . Both entrees were wrong and when the server told the manager; she refused to fix it . I asked to speak to the manager and she wouldn’t come . One entree I order every time I come and it was nothing close to what it was supposed to be . None of our sides ever even came out. I wish the manager would have just come out . I really wanted to hear the explanation for that trash delivered to my table .

Haven’t been to red lobster in months and when I finally decided to return to this one on 98N the customer service was horrible we came during lunch time and it was super slow and not many customers were inside got seated and waiting about 10-15 minutes before being approached by our server (CINDY) waiter another 15 minutes before getting biscuits and another 10 minutes before a glass of water so you can do the math there eventually I got to the point where I just wanted a manager (MIKE) and he immediately offered a free appetizer and honestly free food was not our concern why is it taking 30 just to be approached for bread & water??..training is what is needed in this situation don’t provide bad service and then bribe people with free food…do better red lobster! Overall food was delicious per usual we both got the 3 items for $20 highly recommended that selection.

I'll start out with the service I think I was put in an area where it was the waitresses first week nobody else around seems to be she was frustrated and only had two tables I ordered stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and I believe they just threw some bread crumbs and cheese on top of some mushrooms worst I ever had had to send them back. I ordered lobster it was overcooked and rubbery and the steak was so tough that I couldn't even eat he used to be able to get a salad with your meal and now you pay extra then was ready to go then had to wait 20 minutes to get my bill worst food and the worst service I have ever had Red lobster is not what it used to be I will never go back to the one in Lakeland anyway eat there at your own risk

Staff is amazingly pleasant. We enjoyed the endless shrimp a few times over a few months. We're told this is the last week endless shrimp will be offered everyday, but beginning Monday they will offer endless shrimp one day a week and have more options of shrimp styles than ever before. My family is looking forward to trying the new endless shrimp promotion and this will be our location.

I have no idea what happened in this location over the past 6 months but every time I have dined in it has been a catastrophe. The management is lacking in respect for their workers, workers are not being trained properly and go missing the entire time we had to ask the lady that sat is to get our salad and refills on all our drinks and food...she's the hostess with mostess by far. My last trip I ordered take out and now feel that maybe the way to go even if I did want endless shrimp. We wouldn't get but an order any way.🥴 It's really a shame because a year ago they had amazing staff and now the moral is just low. I blame management. .

Every day terrible service, we are losing this restaurant in Lakeland… I spent 35 minutes waiting for a table, a couple left in front of me for 45 minutes and when they gave me the table, horrible place. God willing, this restaurant has not been here for a year. and after they gave me the table that was to my liking. 20 minutes to see the clerk who never came. I repeat, they must save that restaurant, it is necessary.... 3/26/2024 Good about the food I can't tell you because I left the place after 45 minutes without service and my husband and I alone at the table, do a review of the attitude of your staff, as well as service. for that restaurant to return to what it was many years ago, and I don't have Facebook

Went in and was told a short time before being seated and took my name. They sat two tables that came in after us with the same number of people. Half a hour later we asked how much longer and they said we still had two more groups ahead of us. And when we were there the lights in the guest area went out and there was a guest went to the manager and asked about the lights twice and was just dismissed my her. Extremely rude and disrespectful. Extremely bed experience!

Customers beware! If you are planning on going to this restaurant make sure to cross out the tip section when signing the merchant receipt. For every restaurant I go I always pay with a credit card and give a cash tip. Today I failed to cross out the tip section and they charged me for an additional 18% tip.

Our server Tucker was excellent, from start to finish. I would go as far as saying he is the best server I have ever had ever when dining out. He was super friendly and perisonalble, and suggested the Lobster Dip which was really good and my husband tried the Salmon New Orleans which was delicious!! Will definitely come back again, our host Chris was also great!

My husband and I visited Red Lobster today passing through Lakeland and the service was outstanding from the time we walked in the door Ms Peaches greeted us with a smile and was very courteous. Our waitress was Nancy and before we could ask for anything she was already taking care of it. Their customer service skills were outstanding best service I've had in a long time at a restaurant.the atmosphere was nice and quiet. the food was piping hot and good it was great visiting with them today because the service was just outstanding and that's what led to this review...

My wife and I visited this restaurant back in February. It is one of our favourite restaurants. The food was good like always, however we ended up with a rookie waiter and everything that could go wrong, did. No attention whatsoever to us. No checking on how we were doing. Wait wait, wait. Even the bill , I had to go find someone to get it. So I put in a comment on the Red Lobster site about our disappointment. It took over a month for their response. To me, this shows customer service is not a priority in their organization. It must not be part of their business culture. They could learn from Publix where the attitude of every employee is noticeable and outstanding.

We dined at the Lakeland Red Lobster on March 15, 2024. We have had great times in the past at other Red Lobsters and once in the past at this location. This evening unfortunately was not very good. We ordered Soup, Entrees and a bottle of red wine for the four of us. The entrees came without the soup, wine or cutlery. We asked our server where the soup was she replied it was cooking. We asked about the wine and cutlery to eat with which she said she would get immediately. Ten minutes later she came back with the cutlery, a bottle of white wine (we ordered red) and no soup. Cancelled the soup and wine at this point and ate or cooled off entrees which were no longer remotely warm. Only giving 2 stars because of other Red Lobster experiences, would avoid this location in the future since Morgan B was useless.

Ordered delivery. Got a text from Red Lobster that I could track the delivery. An hour later I got a text from Red Lobster stating my order was cancelled. They still charged me $146 for food I never received! Update: Red Lobster did refund me the money. I appreciate their willingness to make it right.

We were given an estimated time of 15-20 minutes that turned into 1 hour. As soon as we were finally seated ,our server told us up front it would take another 40 minutes to actually get food. We decided at that point to just leave. O n the way out a woman told us we made the right choice. They had waited and their food came out cold and wasn't good. We have tried this particular Red Lobster for 3 years in a row while on vacation and it's very clear they have not recovered from covid, not enough staff in any area and staff they do have are not trained to be professional. We will never go back again. Three strikes and you're out as they say.

Smooshed bug inside menu. Drinking glasses (on refills) were not clean. Had to stop waitress as she was passing by to ask for drink refills. Ordered the "Endless Shrimp" and had to get wait staff's attention unordered to get refills of shrimp. Although we went at lunch time, they were only moderately busy. We will go to a different location in the future.

Horrible experience tonight. 45 minute wait to be seated, even though there was only 3 parties ahead of us. Some sort of altercation in the kitchen which the police were called to. Out of popcorn shrimp. Our party of 4 all ordered baked potatoes as a side. Our plates came out with nothing but the meat, at which time we were told no potatoes were done. No cole slaw came out with the fish and chips, even though it is listed as a side. When we asked about it we were told we had to request it. When that finally came, it was sour. Biscuits and Pepsi was the only thing worth paying for. We were told by the waitress that the manager would be adjusting the bill for all the issues. She removed one drink out of 4, and one side order of mac and cheese. $120.00 for nasty food and a 2.5 hour ordeal. Don't waste your time or money

Arrived with other guests. At first, we did not expect much. The layout and atmosphere is a bit 50/50 and not eye catching. But we then received great exellent service from the bartender of tonight who I forgot the name of but and the host who I remember of the name Chris. Those two deserve a praise and raise and more hours. My server was not the greatest and the bartender and host substituted for great service. The food was great. It tasted very fresh besides one item. It was almost as if they only had our food in place and it was served fresh and special made. Didn’t stay long, but enjoyed it. I hope my fellow friends also agree and give high rating as well.

Staff are nice but it looks like they are staff lack. Also, lobster taste was like… no taste at all. I order a lobster mashed potato and they didn’t have the smaller pieces of lobster for the mashed potato. I thought was getting better but last time they even didn’t have utensils for us. Management it’s so bad.

This Red lobster in Lakeland on North 98th I went there tonight and it was very awful the noodles wasn't cooked it tasted like nothing they were stuck together and this is not the first time they need to be and the person who's cooking only give you not even ate shrimp in the shrimp alfredo but they was bought out by a slave trade

So pathetic, should have returned the $42 entire meal, and left. The only decent thing about my experience, was the Hostess Peaches. She made every effort to assist in our dining experience. Yet to no avail.. After 17yrs within Hospitality, it would seem they weren't seating customers because of not having enough Servers. In my day, I'd be taking care of an entire Station of 4-5 tables. Two Servers had no idea which one was taking our table. We sat over 10 mins not being acknowledged. And neither could handle 2 tables proficiently. Because of the wait, and then the wait, and then the wait.. Lunch took 1.5+hrs. With no Manager ever appearing the entire time. How you can be running Lobsterfest and run out of Lobster at noon? When we were told some Lobster had arrived, we did change our orders. When the food came so quickly I had concerns. The Lobster had no warmth to it whatsoever! In my mind, it was as if it came off the truck, slapped on the plate, and brought out. The 5 Coconut Shrimp I ordered was, over-cooked and tasted to be fried in old oil. Couldn't even eat one. Shrimp Linguine tasted like it was dumped out of a box and not enough liquid, sticky/pasty. Mashed potatoes were not good, and broccoli had unusual taste swimming in butter. So, I had 8 tiny bites of cold Lobster w/ an undeserving tip for $58 for myself alone. My friends Lobster was the same, steak overcooked and too tough to chew. I gave her more than half my meal to take home. I told her, "We should have went to Bob Evans for Biscuits & Gravy! At least we'd know what we'd be getting and paying for." 100% not at all worth it. Not recommend.

NOT VERY HAPPY. FOOD WAS COLD WHEN SERVED. WERE OUT OF SIMPLE THINGS LIKE ONIONS, COLESLAW, BROCCOLI. HAD TO SEND STEAK BACK TWICE, WAS RED, BLOODY. LOBSTER TAIL WAS UNCOOKED, RUBBERY... ONLY UPSIDE, MANAGER WAS PLEASANT AND TOOK OFF ONE MEAL FROM CHK.

The food was not well prepared and over cooked the clams was cooked too hard and fish dry. And it was my birthday and I was not happy with my dinner. And I had my family of 6 people with me and there food was the same. I am about to stop coming. But I am willing to try it once again before I write you off. The service was ok but the food was not the way I'm use to it being. At the Lakeland fl location. 01/17/2024

I always try to find something positive to say but unfortunately this restaurant I really can’t ….too bad really … you even have to wait for your biscuits. It’s like it a cost cutting measure. The waitress was trying but the food was certainly not worth the money. We never received our soup…. I think this will be our last visit. I see that they have a lot of less than positive reviews and have do nothing to improve or change the situation…. Maybe corporate should just close this location . We spent over $100.00 for dinner and apps never again .

Don't waste your money if you want a nice family dinner - Lakeland Red Lobster was terrible. Service was horrendous, the waitress served my 6 year old granddaughter a solid piece of frozen strawberry cheesecake and when I said something to the waitress her response was that's all we had and shrugged her shoulders. Took 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee, appetizers came out at different times, the waitress never returned to see if my daughter needed more shrimp on the endless shrimp dinner....terrible service, food wasn't worth it.
