Wonderful experience! Our server was very sweet and took good care of us and our babies (bonus points for the sweet compliments). The young man who cashed us out was also very nice and helpful , asked if I wanted a bag and the place was clean. Very nice place to eat. Food was out quick.

Server Veronica was fast and attentive. Management very knowledgeable. Biscuits were fresh and buttery. Steak tips tender and flavorful. Country steak crispy and well seasoned. Overall great experience. First timer definitely will be back.

My 12 year old son ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Instead of verifying what he wanted on the burger, they put lettuce and such on the burger and pickles on top of the bun and stuck a stick in the top. When I mentioned he wanted it plain the waitress took it back. Instead of replacing the bun or making a new sandwich all together. They took everything off and brought it back out with the hole still in the top with pickle juice still on it. When I told the waitress and manager that we were cancelling the order and leaving, the waitress apologized. The manager only said to the waitress to tell them to stop making the order. Then she said that's a lot of food to waste. Although they have a couple of good waitresses, one that is great, we will not be back to this location. We had 4 drinks and a couple of biscuits and it cost me about $15. Instead of the manager saying I'm so sorry for this issue and don't worry about the cost of the drinks. She made a comment about how it was a waste of food. So instead of the manager apologizing, I the customer apologized to the manager for the wasted food. What a shame, every time we have been to this location they are never busy and they just lost another customer. ***Important note to mention... My son is allergic to pickles...***

The food was great and so was the service this was my second time going to Bob Evans and I was once again very glad that I chose to go here instead of Denny's, which is right next door on 98 North

I stopped in today for coffee and a quick meal. I was one of 3 customers and no one was being waited on. I was waiting for a refill on coffee and never got it. I watched two customer come in and walk out because they were never greeted even though only two tables were sat in the entire restaurant. I will not be coming back, and I hope no one else does either since their employees do not care about the businesses.

Went in to eat there was only one other couple in the place.on a Sat nite 8:30 pm.anyway sat at booth just behind the cashier.service good food ok.but the place spelled like moldly old carpet.at this morning I feel like bad.maybe they need to fix a roof leak.or something else.the mold is there.you can smell it.will go somewhere else.so I don't get resptory cold.

This place is disgusting. For starters it has a weird smell over by the bathrooms. Secondly, there were issues with my food. The waitress took FOREVER with our refills for our drinks, for one. I ordered the steak tips with broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes, I got 2 rolls with it as well. Not only did I find a big broccoli leaf in my broccoli, there was a SUPER long hair stuck to it. They did remake the plate but I had lost my appetite by then and didn’t even finish my food. I found a gnat literally baked into one of my rolls. One of my friend’s kid ordered a lemonade and there was a gnat in there too. And when I complained at the counter to pay, all I got was “I’m sorry”. I certainly won’t be returning to this Bob Evans. Bugs and hair in my food, not even offered a discount, and mediocre service. Disgusting 🤢

Tried new honey chicken was Hot, lightly battered juicy extremely good. Husband had the ham steak. We were both very pleased with our choices. We will return soon.

In June I planned a baby shower brunch for a co worker. I ordered sausage gravy and biscuits, bacon and scrambled eggs as part of the food. Brandon took the order and when I went to pick up they were ready and very helpful getting it to my vehichle. Pleasantly pleased everyone loved it all 18 of us.

The food quality has really gone down hill. I was served spoiled beef tips. My husband's omelet had bacon croutons in it like croutons you put on a salad. The grits were so wattery I couldn't even eat them. I will not be back.

My Server tammy was the Absolutely The best server that I ever had in a Restaurant her kindness her smile not to Mention how beautiful she is was like I was at home not once did i have to ask for a refill.She always made sure she checked up on us I will really recommend eating there if she was a server at the time

ordered on their website. they partner with door dash i had it delivered through their website. didnt get 2 items and between them and doordash wasnt able to get my food or a refund lol. will go back to florida ave bob evans. they dont screw up

Walked in. waited at the desk, several of us. A few people walked by, refused eye contact... or to respond to OUR greeting. Was not busy. Total of four tables and two old guys at the small bar top. we were not even greeted and left after 9... count them.. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8..& 9 minutes. Horrible. drive out there specifically for Bob Evans. grrrrrrrr To be clear. no manager in site. Back of the house was fine, executing and putting up food in the window. ... JUST greet us. MAKE an effort. PRETEND like you wanted our patronage. I hate doing reviews like this. How else can i share this without being negative? Customers are important. Management is essential. Service is crucial. Maybe if the correct people see this - and yes I did call.. but i believe they were not interested in caring or solving the issue. sooo.... I'm sharing our experience with others online.

They don't have fish filets anymore, just fish sticks. The fish sticks were so overcooked and hard as a rock, you could barely see any fish inside. The onion rings were also very overcooked. The inside of the country fried steak was soft, but the outer edge was hard. The service was the only good thing about the meal.

Recently we discovered Bob Evans family meals to go. I was having company and wanted to serve country fried steak (without cooking myself). Typically I'd call publix but to my dismay they had removed it and no longer do CFS so I looked online and realized Bob Evans does a family takeout. Low and behold they had CFS for 6, there were 4 of us. The 6 CFS cutlets were delicious and the green beans and mashed potatoes were like homemade. My guests were pleased, we were all full, extras for the guys. Amazing deal!! With the heat lately I havnt been wanting to cook. I've now had the Bob Evans takeout family meal of CFS, Turkey and dressing dinner, and today we had the pot roast. They are without a doubt my new go to and the CFS and the pot roast were both tastier then I've had from publix. They package everything so nicely and add a apple pie to the order, you won't be disappointed. Remember though that a server is the one packaging everything, adding cutlery, butter packs etc so please think of that when it asks for a tip. These folk work hard on a low income wage. TIPS are the reason they are there. You won't be sorry you tipped when you realize the care that was put into the packaging. 10 stars for Bob Evans of North Lakeland. You have exceeded expectations and earned a lifelong customer.

Friday evening April 26th I went online and placed a curbside order for Bob Evans located 3130 US Hwy 98 N, Lakeland, FL 33805 (Order # 26365572516806658) to be picked up at 04:30. I should know better because every time I place a curb side order the employees a this location do not want to walk it to my car. Last time I did it the employee made me wait and then said as she gave me my food, “You know you are supposed to come in and get it”. I apologized as I was not aware so this time when I place the curbside I read the website that said a team member can bring it to your car and when I arrived the sign even said we will bring it to your car. This employee was passive aggressive by saying your food is ready but I don’t have time to bring it out now so give me a few minutes. After waiting 20 minutes I called in to cancel my order because I was tired of waiting and she said, “Oh I was about to bring it out do you still want to cancel”. Why have curbside if your employees wont bring it out to the car. Maybe they need additional training in customer service. Needless to say even though this is the closest Bob Evans to my house I will not be back as the service was terrible and the food was cold.

Servers were friendly and well catered my family and I. The foods were fresh. The menu was packed with limitless options. We really enjoyed our brunch before taking our trip back home.

Good food, fast service. some new menu choices

I don't get many Saturdays off, but today I did.My son and I was having a Father and son day together today, his 2 favorite restaurants are Bob Evans and Oliver Garden. The plan was breakfast, movie then Urban Air. Got to Bob Evans just before 9am, it took a couple of minutes to get seated, which is normal. Once seated and waiting for the waitress. I ordered two movie tickets on line for a 10:10am start time for the movie, thinking plenty enough time to order, eat and pay. The movie theater is around the corner. Ordered our beverages and meals at the same time. 10 minutes after that a family of 3 got seated, still no beverages for us. 5 minutes later a family of 2 got seated still no beverages for us. Another 5 minutes later a party of 6 got seated,still no beverages for us. A helper came out to take the party of 6 beverages order, then ours finally arrived. My son's was fine, mine was nasty so I asked for a Pepsi instead. Waitress did promptly give me a new beverage. Now it's 9:45am, the family of 3 gets their food. 9:48amthe family of 2 gets their food. At this point,I'm done. I tell my son let's go. Go to check out to pay for our 2 beverages, the cashier ask which table we were seated at and I told her and she said your food is ready. I told her we have not been served any food and I will not pay for food we have not ate. She gets the manager which tells me our meals are in the window and they can serve us in a few minutes. I tell her no because we have been there for over 50 minutes and 2 tables that got seated 10 and 15 minutes after us have already been served plus we have tickets to a movie. She says ok... I'll only charge you for one beverage . Which is cool, $3.63. But then asked me do you want the meals to go? No.... I just told her we have tickets to see a movie... we have to go and I don't want food seating in my car for 2 plus hours. Then as I was trying to pay for my beverage , she did not help me finish cashing out. Instead she took the couple behind us to a different register and cashed them out. I completed my transaction, was never offered a receipt or an apology for the terrible service. I do not like leaving bad reviews... But this time, I'm very,very, very disappointed in the service and management...

Service and food was very good.

The place was not busy which is why we ordered explaining we were in a bit of a rush . The waitress came back 20 min later saying the manager was training a new cook so it was taking longer than it should. We said if we couldn’t get our food in 10 more minutes we would have to leave. We’ll we left still paying for our food that we never received.. First off they should have told us that service was delayed when we said we were in a little rush. Secondly they should have not charged us because our food wasn’t even cooked when we had to leave 30 min after we ordered.

3/19/24 3:30-4;03 pm / My husband and I had great meals at Bob Evans , again . I had a western omelette, my husband had the double farmers choice , both hot , plentiful and yummy! Coffee hot & excellent! The manager ,Margaret , was helping out the servers because it was busy , she was fast and very cheerful. Our Server Mari ( we’ve had her before) was friendly and very attentive as usual . The food here is much better than Dennys or Cracker Barrel- especially the biscuits! This is why we keep coming back ! Here’s our previous visit ; We usually go to Bob Evans for breakfast or lunch because the food is excellent and service great. Today ,I had the Blueberry Hotcakes with sausage. Husband had The Whole Hog ( eggs, sausage ,potatoes.We took home his extra French toast , pancakes, sausage , enough for breakfast tomorrow ! The service is always fantastic . Today was no exception, they seemed short handed - but the servers were really hustling to keep up and stayed attentive to every table! Our server today was Jennifer ?( but the recpt says Mandy ?) Anyway, she was fantastic ! We never waited for anything, and I heard her say she had an injured knee & she was wearing a brace but needed batteries changed ! Now that’s dedication. I gave her a good tip , but please Manager ; give this girl a raise ! She’s a SuperServer !

If I could give 6 stars for service I'd do it all day long! My waitress was named Angela and she is a font of happiness and sunshine- what a delightful lady! She was all smiles and very prompt. This is the best BE I've ever been to, the food is fantastic too! Angela was the best. The food was the best what a great restaurant. Tammy and Quay also came over to make sure everything was perfect and that just made it perfecter! And the manager, Jamie runs a tight ship. The place is very clean and well run

When I walked inside the store it was so neat and the customer service was wonderful I would definitely go there again.

Service was absolutely amazing but the Food was completely Horrible and the managers accommodations were absolutely WORSE!! I sent my meal back 2 times and still wasn’t satisfied. I agreed to pay for both meals because the first one was coming out in Pieces and not the entire meal!! Therefore by the time I received the entire meal most were already Cold. The second one came to the table completely burnt as if it was forgotten about. When I asked for a manager she only assisted with a 3.00 discount, as I explained, I’m hungry a discount will not change that, she said this will be the third meal. However I had agreed to pay for Both full price but my main reason of dinning was to eat, not receive a $3 discount. I Will certainly Never Patronize Ever Again!! Some restaurants need to take full responsibility for their quality and customer service. This was unacceptable. GO TO DENNYS NEXT DOOR!!

Same old same old. Oatmeal was scraped off the bottom, burnt, but they did replace it with fresh. Sausage was over cooked and hard. Service was slow. Eggs and hash browns we ok.

The hostess that was suppose to seat us was having a personal conversation with someone who was leaving so it took quite a while to be seated and they were not even crowded. Once we got seated waited almost 10 minutes and waitress never came to table. So we walked out. Again not busy at all. I would have gave a 0 but didn't have option

We were a party of 4. Only one of our meals were correct. They forgot my hashbrowns. They were finally brought after i was finished and they were burnt. Hubby was served bacon, he ordered sausage. Never did bring his sausage. Friend ordered scrambled eggs, was served over easy and no hashbrowns. I have never had a meal that was so unsatisfactory. I will not be going back to Bob Evans again.

I'm a big fan of Bob Evans. This one was like them all. Their app is pretty useless, I tried to pay my check from my table like I do at other restaurant but their app didn't work.

Great food. Great service. Convenient location. Amanda is a wonderful server and is kind and efficient. The kitchen was a bit slow, but the food was hot and delicious!

I haven't eaten at Bob Evan's in a long time. It is going down hill. The food was terrible. I asked for eggs medium and the were runny!! Yuck Potatoes looked like they had been cooked several times and over cooked. They were tough. Used to love the place. Our server Heather, was great!! Over seated, but she kept up and did wonderful. I ask for her area all the time. You need new cooks, Bob

I had never been to a Bob Evans until today and I won't be back. The bacon was overcooked and crumbled in our hands. The drink was fine but I'm confused why it's called Apple Berry splash when it's apple and pomegranate juice. My eggs had a lot of uncooked white for being over easy. The gravy for my biscuits was bitter, like it was previously burnt. My boyfriend's country fried steak had nearly no gravy. Best part was the biscuits, but there was no butter or jam to put on it. It felt very catered to the blue haired community, flavor, texture, and service wise.

Everything was wonderful except the air-conditioning was way too cold. Cooled off the food too fast. That's why the 3 on atmosphere. The food and service were wonderful.

Food is alright, I recommend the bacon chicken sandwich. The rolls have went downhill, they use to be soft and fluffy... not anymore. Service is 10/10 and clean and nice atmosphere overall.

My food was pretty good there was a little wait but not too much. The manager was great which is who seated us. Our waitress was Veronica and she did the best she could with being literally the only waitress. My review is simply based on the lack of urgency. When it was time to check out we had to wait on Veronica to locate the cashier Cici and when Cici finally got to the register it wasn’t a sorry for the wait nothing. She acted as if we were interrupting her trying to pay for our meal.

I am a longtime patron of Bob Evans and I was so disappointed in the sausage gravy. It was missing the famous unique flavor that sets their sausage gravy apart from other restaurants. I hope this was just a fluke and not a permanent change in their recipe.

Went fir the first time we was seated fast but service was bad waitress didn't welcome or give us her name my kids always eat they food they didn't even all they food not tasteful food wad room temperature I like mine hot she didn't ask us did we want refills or anything and we had a pricy bill

I don't know what has happened here, the waitpersons used to be so friendly and efficient but our server this time was the worst I've had in a long time. It was like pulling teeth to get her to the table to order anything. Dishes were plunked down on the table, hard enough to spill the drinks. Dirty dishes were left on the table while we were eating dessert, which I had to order by going to find her and waving the menu. I ordered the deep dish chicken and noodles which had NO chicken. I ended up bussing the table myself. I'd go back only under duress. What a shame to see what used to be a nice place to go have a good meal and a chat with friends.

I asked the waitress a question about the banana bread and I was surprised but she gave me an honest answer and it's nice to hear you don't find that to often I'll go back again because of it

Bob Evans saved the day for my Mother and I! We had a bad family argument the night before and ended up in a hotel. We checked out at 11:00 a.m. and drove around about an hour and a half looking for a good place for breakfast! Every employee was wonderful and friendly. Our waitress was genuinely upbeat and attentive. We don't have a Bob Evans where we live so it had been a lot of years since either of us had been to one. We decided if we go back to the area we will definitely eat here again!

Just do it. Visited here on a day trip from Orlando to Tampa and though stop on the way for breakfast. About 40 minutes from Orlando. Ok to find with gps Lucky got there before was to busy and have about a 7 minute wait. Very friendly staff, yummy food and a very nice atmosphere. Pics of the double meat breakfast with French toast 😛 Soooo many good selections to choose from and very reasonably priced. Waiting area at reception was packed when I left so popular place.

I have only done take out. My last take out was the Western Omelet. There were nice big chunks of onion, peppers and ham in the omelet. It was excellent. The home fries were also very good. I always get biscuits for my bread choice because they are always good. The banana nut bread is also an excellent choice.

My experience here was a good one. Our food came out pretty fast and was cooked well and proficient. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with the selections. We ordered the banana blueberry pancakes with the sausage, eggs and hashbrowns. My husband ordered the biscuit sandwiches and gravy. The biscuits were fresh not frozen.I also had a coffee and the Appleberry mimosa delicious 😋 All together a good breakfast experience.
