Jobey was an excellent server. I had shrimp and my wife had the pork chops. Both meals were cooked perfectly and served in a timely manner. Totally recommend.

Food and service have really gone downhill in the past couple of years. I don't know if we'll be going back and after going to outback for over 30yrs it's very disappointing.

Haven’t had many good experiences in this location. This time while we were seated quickly the service was subpar at best. Server came and took drink orders quickly, but when she returned she skipped asking about an appetizer and took our main order, which we asked to get our normal cheese fries as the appetizer, I ordered their new Tasmanian Shrimp & Scallop Pasta, and my wife ordered her normal Alice springs chicken. When the server returned she came with our main courses so we figured she forgot to put in the order for the fries and proceeded to eat what we had because we were hungry. My entree consisted of 4 shrimp and scallops and a bowl of pasta, and her chicken may have been 4-5oz.. I had 1 shrimp left and lo and behold our cheese fries show up. The food tasted great but left us wanting for more. I definitely didn’t get what was portrayed in the pictures on the menu, and my Wife’s definitely was short of what she normally gets when she orders that particular dish at the other locations. Also wanted to mention that their AC was out and they had portable units inside the restaurant that the staff seemed to congregate around. The last four or five times we have tried this location. It has kind of let us down. We will be sticking to the South Lakeland and Plant city locations from now on.

If you want to have good food, do yourself a favor and DON’T go to this restaurant. I ordered a steak with baked potato… the steak had so much seasoning and yet I e it tasted like very old meat, horrible. But it doesn’t stop there! The baked potato had MOLD inside of it. Yes, mold, black mold inside and, unfortunately, I just noticed when I reached a hard spot, which was a ball of mold. So disgusting 🤢🤢 unfortunately I was too shocked and disgusted so I forgot to take a picture. It was the first and last time I visited this restaurant.

I almost forgot what it was like to go out on a Friday night but boy this restaurant was packed for two people. It was a 25 minute wait I will say they’re texting system is amazing because it truly just took 25 minutes and we sat down. It was perfect, because we were even more hungry than before we were greeted by Cass. He took our orders, got our drinks out right away and bread because he could tell that people have been waiting and I must say hands-down. We have eaten out with our kids without our kids mini places we have never met a server who was so attentive down to drink bread, can I get you anything? Food will be right out but someone that actually cared even though he had quite a bit of tables, he stayed on making sure everyone was good multitasking quickly getting everything we requested out. It was amazing. We’ve eaten here before and I forget the young lady who helped our family when we had all of our noisy loud kids but they’ve always been great but today made us really enjoy going out for once, as just parents with one kid and it was just hands-down one of the best service we’ve ever gotten in a very long time anywhere again his name was Cass. I think the manager said that’s what he goes by but his name is David. He was amazing and thank you again we really enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait to come back . Just had to edit my review from four months ago. We went a few days ago and we thought it was weird because the parking lot looked empty and we got scared, but there was a note on the door about AC issues, but when we walked in, it was freezing and I was like damn I love when the place is hot. But it looks like they had AC issues it was fixed so not a lot of people were there but boy I was so excited because we were limited on time so me and my husband did a date night and we ended up eating at the bar booth and CJ was our server. She was phenomenal and amazing(extremely attentive- we never had to ask for a refill or anything. She was on everything from our drinks to our food. They weren’t crazy busy, but the bar area was full, and we were not her only table). So glad we came and if you stop by get that new pasta, the shrimp and scallops I forgot to take pictures but we were fighting over leftovers. And also she came up with the best recommendation for a drink, and I asked her for it and it included an extra shot for a dollar more. I only needed one and was loving life and a quick escape from our tribe. Thank you!!

The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. We have not had service like this since before the pandemic. The manager Kyle was working and interacting with the customers. Mel (our server) went above and beyond for us. Thank you so much.

We haven't been to outback in about a year because the food was terrible when we went. This past Saturday 6 of us decided to give it another try. The air conditioner was not working. We got there at 5:00 p.m. so that we could beat the rush. We ended up being there for 2 hours before our appetizers our food etc came out. We will never go back there again it was terrible from the service to the food to the atmosphere to the no air conditioner. Outback has become a joke like a fast food chain. You're better off getting a steak from a dumpster

Ten out of ten the service and food was excellent

Went out to celebrate a special occasion with my wife last night. The point was quality time with her, not the food, but I must get this out. I ordered a 16 oz Prime Rib. When it arrived, it was clearly NOT a slab of Prime Rib. It looked as if the kitchen had mistaken a sirloin and roasted that. I should have said something, but I didn't want my wife to eat alone and then watch me eat when a replacement meal arrived. (This has happened to us too many other times at this Outback on steaks ive ordered that were overcooked, and its my fault that I even went back here) The Sirloin or whatever it was, was cooked to MR and tasted All right, but nowhere near as tender as a prime Rib. The rest of the food was fine. We had the new blooming shrimp that were tasty, the salads were cold and crisp, and my wife's wings were good. But, after leaving, it really bothered me that 1. The kitchen passed this off as prime Rib 2. That I let it go. I'm more mad at myself than Outback, but at least my wife never noticed my distress, and we had a wonderful time of conversation and togetherness. PS: I think I'm done with Outback.

Triston and Kyle were so kind and quick, they made my takeout experience such a pleasure.

I was so disappointed when the server told me that they stopped serving my favorite spinach and artichoke dip. But other than that the service was 👍🏿

Since the service has split up to one lesson taking your order, another person bringing your drinks, another person bringing your bread, and having to try to catch the next random person to tell them your drinks came out wrong because there is too many hands involved in such a quick and easy task the overall experience and system is going down and decreasing in customer satisfaction.

Three stars for food only because my husband Alice Spring Chicken had a weird taste from the grill like it may have not been reseasoned after cleaned. Our waitress Kailin B was extremely sweet and very attentive from the beginning.

The server was really nice, outstanding. Food though, a total different thing! Meatloaf was burnt and had no taste! The burger was tasty but a bit dry. The blooming onion was very greasy & soggy. Unless they change the chef, I won't be coming back to Outback!

Took my dad for his birthday, asked for a new table because the entire area smelled like urine..the bread was tossed on table by a guy that didn't even walk all the way around the booth to set it on our table..butter tipped over tray almost hit the floor because he kept walking as he chucked it up there, our salad plates were never removed neither was the bread tray so we could eat our food with space, had to ask for condiments that weren't offered then felt like I had requested the hope diamond be brought by our waitress who clearly would have rather been doing anything else, we finally just asked for boxes and chose to eat the rest of our meal at the house, this is so not the outback service it used to be

Rob is a very kind, fun, animated, professional bartendar at Outback and he makes you feel so welcome and a part of the family! He takes very good care of his customers! It's worth the visit just to enjoy the great friendly customer service of Rob and of course the other great people that work there too! Oh and the food is great too!😄

Let me talk about my Laurel. Best server known to man! She’s been my go to for over 5 years now. Always on point. Always has a smile on that can change any day. She’s the reason that place can run smooth when it’s crazy. I’ll never forget being pregnant and they stop carrying Mac n cheese bites. When they came back this girl start found my to go orders and called me! She’s the reason I could eat a peaceful dinner after I had my daughter. Literally held her so I could eat without dropping food everywhere. Has our drinks out before we even see her. Seems to be the only person who can get my kid to eat some days. She makes going out to eat worth it! She the reason we keep going back . Plus she understand the assignment for extra ranch.

Melissa at outback is the best. We just moved here two months ago and we come here every single night just to see her. The bar bartender arron is also awesome. Makes the best Cosmo. I highly recommend coming here. They are both very cordial and cannot do enough for you, highly give them five star

I called for a to go order after church. Brian took my order. He explained how they would be able to tell when I arrived for pickup. He was not only extremely pleasant but also professional. You could tell he was definitely a "people person." When I arrived, he came out immediately to let me know there would be a short delay (I wasn't in a rush), and very shortly brought out my order. His appearance was neat and clean and he always had a smile. Outback has a real gem in their employee, Brian!

There was a slight mess up on my order being a diabetic has its set backs got Bb sauce on my ribs by mistake and Mr. London was right there to fix the problem immediately. He was extremely nice, professional and extremely understanding about my situation. No questions asked he immediately took care of it. The staff was also awsome. It so nice to come into a place that respect and treats the customer like they are important. I eat at restaurants all over polk county and do a review at almost each one and this is one of the best experiences I have had in a very long time. With prices jumping so high on food most people don't go out and eat anymore and when they do they want great service for their money and I can say with certainly that Mr. London and his staff at this outback steak house will give all that and more. Thank you Mr. London. My family and my friens and I will be back guaranteed...thank you again.

Another great visit here! We sat at the bar like we always do, and our server/bartender was absolutely awesome as she always is! Our steaks came out at the perfect temperature.

My steak was rubbery, the chicken was dry, I asked for half and half tea, I asked the girl if it was what I ordered and she said um uh huh and walked away. It was very very very sweet tea. The waitress would come by and ask a question and would walk away before we could answer. She was more interested in the huge table beside us. I'm from out of state and stopped by with my mom to celebrate my birthday. So disappointed. I'll go to Longhorn next time.

just ok Bloomin onion - was cooked too long, very brown-burnt,my sirlion sandwich , more mushroooms and onion than meat, crust was hard, took home only to throw it away

Well-known chain of American steakhouses with an Austailian Outback theme. Juicy streaks. Delicious (free!) bread and butter. Simple, but satisfying salads. Loaded baked potatoes are a must! Friendly service and fair proces. AARP 10% discount on food! Highly recommended!

Over rated. The food always comes out way after the appetizers. Kills the experience.

Always come for date night at least once a month, and tonight our server Melissa talked to the kitchen manager Danny and told her about my shellfish allergy and how much I love the bloomin onion, he personally made me my own bloomin onion that wasn’t made with and touch any of the seafood at all and personally delivered it to me!! BEST EVER!! Made my day and night completely!!

The food and the service was great... The restrooms were trashed..no toilet paper in the women's and a sticky floor. My husband said the men's restroom was totally trashed with sticky floors and feces on the toilet. (We didn't even wear our shoes in the house when we got home) The place needs a serious remodel.

If you order a takeout order, totaling $100, make sure to ask for 8 to 10 sides of sour cream to equal about 2 teaspoons of sour cream. I’ve been in the restaurant industry 24 years, and I have never in my life seen someone Put so little of condiments in for the loaded baked potato. If you get shredded cheese, you get six pieces of shreds. Just a heads up. Otherwise the steak was good.

This is my favorite place to go out with family and friends! Awesome service, tonight our server was Amanda and everything came out perfectly. We even had a manager, Jules come by to make sure that everything was to our expectations. ✨

Sunday evening. Wife and I were sat in the bar area. After waiting 10 minutes or so, the server took our drink order and quickly left even though we were clearly ready to order our food. The manager brought our drinks and someone else delivered our blooming onion. Yet another person dropped off bread. Our server passed by us numerous times without taking our food order. At least another 20 minutes passed before she finally did so. Oddly, ANOTHER person brought out our salads. Surprisingly, our dinners came out soon, that is, timely. My filet was delicious, but my wife’s steak was just okay. Her coconut shrimp were breaded too much and the shrimp were mushy. The server brought her some grilled shrimp as a replacement and they were good. We had a global email coupon for a free Blooming Onion. However, Outback refused to accept our AARP discount also. This effectively rendered the AARP plan as useless. Our server seemed very competent, but she spent a great deal of time on the computer and writing on her pad. Accordingly, she wasn’t personable and waited on us at warp speed when she did stop by.

We had the pleasure of a young lady by the name of Ruby to wait our table. Great customer service.

Our server Melissa is amazing! On her toes and very sweet and attentive. The hostess was amazing as well. The food... I don't where to start. The coconut shrimp is 10/10. And if you don't know about the bloomin onion by now, you're missing out!

There was a party of 10 of us rather late in the evening. C. J was our server and she did an awesome job. I forgot when I ordered my steak to get it with no seasoning. They didn’t seem to mind at all to cook me a new steak. Even the cook came out to make sure the it was cooked the way i liked it. And also the manager came to make sure that everyone was happy with their meal. I will give them a 10 out of 10.

This is our fav steakhouse. The food and service is always excellent. Tonight our server was Christine S. Christine was quick to get our orders in and our food out promptly and was so kind. She paid attention to our needs without being asked. She was fantastic! Tonight our steak was EXCEPTIONAL. Like "chefs kiss" PERFECT temperatures. I always get medium temp and I'm used to mine bein a little rare than I prefer but Tonight was fantastic. We had to hype the chef who prepared our steak tonight who happened to be Destiny. Protect this cook at all cost! Me and my family love coming here n will continue to be loyal to this establishment.

We ate dinner here on a Saturday night, we did call ahead seating and our table was ready upon our arrival. Service was quick and the food was delicious. My husband got the ribeye steak (cooked perfectly) and I got the salmon (amazing). The only complaint I really had was that our bread was cold, in the past it was nice and warm
