I lived in the area years ago and this was my favorite grocery store. Years have passed and I still come back whenever I’m in town! The produce is fresh, the employees are friendly, and it continues to feel like my favorite neighborhood grocer. If you want something to be stocked here, they go out of their way to order and accommodate your request. Also, they have the BEST grab and go selection of any grocery store in the US.

Better more personal than the others , vitamins, food or anything you they have it

You will find health food items that you can’t find anywhere else. The supplement section has staff members to assist you. I found everything I was looking for on my list. Great place and friendly staff!

My favorite place to pick up my groceries. Such an awesome store with great selection and prices. The apple walnut chicken salad is THE BEST and I come here at least twice a month for it. They’re always really helpful when I need to find something or need a recommendation.

I just recently went to Rollin Oats Market the other day with a friend and I have to say it is my new favorite market to shop from! I recently transitioned to vegan eating and they have SO many amazing options I can't get from Walmart or Publix as well as non-vegan options as well; something for everyone!! I will absolutely be coming back to shop and refer this place to anyone I know!!! Also, I had a great experience there. Staff was super friendly asking if we needed help and the woman at checkout was very kind and asked us if we found everything alright! Overall great experience.

Disappointed in the service. Ordered a smoothie like i have before, always the almond lovers it’s delicious. I can’t have strawberries so i always ask to not add the strawberries, they usually always do without a question. Today, they up charged the smoothie and said it was because i was substituting for asking to not use strawberries. I did not substitute anything, i did not ask for anything extra, i asked to take out the strawberries that’s it. They make their smoothies from scratch, they are not premade. When i asked the staff why there was a charge for substituting when i did not substitute anything they said that it’s not their fault it’s managements fault. That is what they are being told to do by management. They argued with me about what substituting means saying i don’t know what I’m talking about. Needless to say i will make my almond lovers at home and save the $9.

I've always enjoyed Rollin Oats, they carry alot of vegan and organic options not carried on the shelves of bigger chain groceries. However, over my last several stop ins the cashier's and bagger have become increasingly rude and at times disrespectful. I've had items tossed from the conveyor to the bagger, I've had bags pushed in front of my face, and have had downright nasty looks for simply saying "Hi!" Or even asking how their day was going. With new competition about a mile away it makes it an easier choice to not stop in for the simple fact I know I'm not going to get rude cashier's or baggers.

I enjoy the Rolling Oats store in St. Pete. It's always inviting, well- stocked, and has numerous products that are of value to us. The disappointing element of shopping here is checking out. On numerous occasions, the last being June 10th, the associates checking us out were rude. It is so unfortunate, that a beautiful establishment like this will tolerate behavior like this. This is a wonderful establishment dedicated to heath. They offer friendly and knowledgeable assistance on a wide variety of conditions and provided assistance with choosing supplements , herbs and vitamins. They have a wonderful cafe with many good choices fur healthful eating and raw juices too I have been a customer almost as long as they have been in business after the unfortunate demise of Ainsley's and recommend it to anyone unreservedly

My brother introduced me to rolling oats as I was moving to St. Pete. It was his favorite store, and I enjoy it also periodRollin oats is a great store to purchase healthy foods, beverages, supplements, personal care, cleaning supplies, pet food, and bulk foods and baked goods. I have been shopping there since I moved to St. Pete 8 years ago. I like the food, as well as the friendliness of the employees.

We've been coming here for many years now. It's always nice to shop here and the prices are pretty reasonable.

I shop at this store at least three times a week and love the smoothies and juices. My biggest gripe is with the sanitation of the department that makes the juices. Your counters are often dirty, staff does not change their gloves, and I can't tell you the last time I saw someone wash their hands. If this review comes off as troubling, it should.

Vegan deli is wonderful. Wine selection eclectic and affordable. Employees warm amd friendly! Love this store!!

This is our absolute favorite place to shop. Their health and wellness experts are not to be underestimated. The pollen is out in full force and they knew exactly what would help. No matter what you ask they seem to have answers. Also, I asked if they would carry a certain product and with zero hesitation they ordered it and it’s always there now. Top notch all around!

Love this little healthfood market! Really nice selections and definitely a much less chaotic shopping experience than Trader Joe's. This is calm and earthy and enjoyable. There is also a super cute gift/boutique shop upstairs as well!

The store layout is beautiful and I enjoy the little specialty items and the deli/cafe area. I do agree with previous reviews about the outrageous prices and the rude staff. For my recent experience, the people stocking the shelves were helpful and polite but the cashiers are downright nasty. No greeting or even a smile. I’m not asking to be saluted with trumpets and rose petals but a simple hello and “did you find everything you needed?” can make all the difference in making customers feel welcome. It’s the biggest reason why I don’t shop here, the front staff needs some better training on customer relations and I hope it happens.

Nice Friendly staff, Well informed on their products. Plenty of products and never crowded. A few tables to the side, in case you want to eat your meal. I've never had any parking issues. Great place.

Spectacular selection inexpensive really helpful staff and a great location

Deli is always low or out of items. today, no tuna salad, no tuna sandwiches, no tuna wraps. The entire shelves were bare when approaching the counter with many people working I asked if they were out they just replied “no just haven’t gotten around to it.” I would think maybe when items are getting low, that would be when you start making more not when the shelves are bare and people are asking for the product. this is exacerbated by the deli, no longer making any made to order items and only making drinks apparently. German beer was also low on stock and items off the shelf. Not sure what was going on today at still a very nice store. .

Best selection of healthy eats in Pinellas county.

This shop is a vegan Mecca! Loads of plant based meat products in both fridge by the front door and freezer at the back, plus vegan ready meals, baked goods, and in the cheese sections it seems there are more dairy-free than dairy ones… it’s not cheap being a small organic-focused shop, but you get what you pay for: the products are well-curated and excellent 💖

This has become one of my favorite grocers. They have items that I can only find there. I have dietary restrictions and I think they are more competitively priced than Fresh Market and Whole Foods. Store is stocked and clean and employees are friendly and helpful.

Great local grocery store with high end offerings that are worth the price. Great wine at reasonable prices as well. I’ve been to similar stores but I dig the vibe of the staff and there is a Pilates studio on the 2nd floor that my wife loves. I will definitely continue to shop here along with my normal grocery stores.

Love this place, my go to for fresh food and produce. There smoothies are so good! You definitely can tell everything here is organic and healthy. Very reasonable prices and good service. Get groceries here! Will be back soon

Love Rollin Oats! Smaller natural markets can often come with a stingingly higher cost, but RO actually has some great prices, especially when there’s sales. Selection (outside of body care products) is very solid too! Overall, gives Whole Foods a run for their money (and without a Whole Foods around RO is a great alternative!). I’d wear a shirt probably..

My family has shopped here on and off for at least 20 years, probably longer. I've been shopping here a lot recently because they have a great selections of supplements, reasonably priced. The staff really knows their stuff too.

Have shopped at both their MacDill Ave, Tampa store & MLK Jr, St Pete locations several times. Always clean & well-stocked. Staff is fairly knowledgeable and helpful to direct you if they don't know the answer. Requested help identifying the correct skin product to use, and another customer who didn't want to ask for help was able to be assisted as well. Quality supplements and natural Healthcare products. Attended Free wine tasting (every 2nd Fri), where I learned some new facts about organic wines. Store carries decent worldwide selection. Carries large trays of live Wheatgrass for juicing, as well as many types of produce not found in commercial grocery chains. Many vegan, food allergy/ health condition friendly choices available. I do wish they had a frequent buyer program of some kind, ie. Keychain card for discounts.

Great store, much like Whole foods with only better food and prices

I'm not sure how I have never reviewed Rollin Oats. I love this locally owned and family run buisness. With food prices spiking, they have done everything they can to keep their prices low and reasonable. They always have sales and discounts, a loving selection and their bakery area is amazing. I became chronically ill late last year, but lately it has been taking it's toll on my ability to cook. Also drive. The prices that they have on their pre-cooked veggies are MORE than fair, especially considering the cost to buy it fresh plus cooking time. I've been able to go to Rollin Oats with my husband, or send my mom to buy stuff, and have meals for the week by buying their fresh cooked veggies and proteins. They have AMAZING salmon, chicken and turkey meet balls. They also have delivery!!!! And the delivery is a FLAT fee, no extra charges, no up charges on items AND you get ALL of the same sales and deals they have in person. They really are incredibly caring about keeping their items as accessable as possible. I LOVE this store, all of the wonderfully kind employees and just over all appreciate them.

I most recently moved to Pinellas Park and was looking for an organic grocery store....very super happy with their products...

The last two times I've been there, the person ringing up my groceries has coughed the entire time. Please give your employees better sick leave or ask that anyone coughing & handling customer food wear masks! Also while I am here—There is one woman who works there, don't remember her name, who is very rude and/or passive aggressive to everybody and loudly shames people for the size of their carts, it's super awkward. I have learned to avoid her, but weird vibes all around. I would shop elsewhere if it weren't for the organic selection.

Produce dept not very organized an some selections look bad.

This was my second time at Rollen Oats Market the first time the staff was really friendly. This time some of the staff was friendly the cashier was far from being friendly never really said hello or goodbye never gave me my total at the end.

Margarie and Sam where absolutely wonderful. Margarie gave me a coupon and Sam gave me a free apple cider sparkling water. It really made my day. I have been coming here for years and the customer service keeps me coming.😊

I go here for a special Magnesium Taurate tablets that works wonders for a heart arrhythmia I recently developed. The staff always directs me to it, orders it if they are out, and seem genuinely interested that this product works. Great customer service everytime.Plus the rest of the store is wonderful & welcoming.

There is great food at this grocery store It is a bit expensive but it's a very healthy place to shop. I was so excited to start working at rolling oaks because I used to be a customer that will never return to that store again because of how they treated me. So they lost a customer and an employee. It is a very hostile work environment though, sadly there is a lot of bullying and dysfunction and then there are the favorites that can do anything they want. So if you're going there just to shop yes it's good but if you think you know the people that work there you don't, I promise that they are not who you think it's very sad.

I enjoy their selection and will make the trip for select options but overall its overpriced and seems to feed on making a profit from people who want to be more health concious. I NEED to buy dairy free for my child due to an allergy, and their price margins are pretty unattainable for that. I try my best to shop local but honestly farmers markets, sprouts and whole foods make it way more attainable to be health-concious. Not to mention the employees are just kind of there, no customer service.

This place is heaven. Everything you could ever imagine. Cider wall from your dreams. Every dairy free option imaginable. Kind staff. Calm atmosphere. Staff should be provided stools. Would be a great way to stay sane and comfy on the job

Love it, their specialty prepared foods section is incredible! My favorite grab and go dishes are Vegan Apple Walnut Chick Salad (Chickpeas and Apples), Forbiddin Rice Slaw and Apple and Walnut Chicken Salad! If you eat them all together..even better❣️👍😄 To my knowledge, hands down, "the best" health food market in St. Petersburg!

Disappointed to see them selling product from unethical companies like No Evil Foods.

So very disappointed to see Rollin' Oats carrying products from No Evil Foods, a company that paid thousands in a labor board settlement after firing union supporters and then later fired their ENTIRE production team without warning or severance to cut costs. Rollin' Oats, I know every brand you carry can't be perfect, but with so many great vegan options out there, it is absolutely baffling why you would carry a brand that has such an atrocious record when it comes to the rights of their workers. Please reconsider keeping this brand on your shelves!

It's always a pleasure to shop here! They always have the freshest organic produce and delicious already made food. Rollin Oats is more than a grocery store, it's a health food store as well. The people who work here are very helpful.

First time visiting this store have a very nice setup

Good variety of organic brands and products, however expect to spend 2-3x what you would at Whole Foods. Price point is on par with Erewhon in LA, except no juice bar. I appreciate how this is the last family-owned health food supermarket in Florida (according to the cashier), however, I’m going to have to go to the farmer’s market or Trader Joe’s for larger grocery hauls because I can’t justify the crazy margins. I want to support this place, but will have to pop in occasionally for five or fewer items.

I have shopped here for many years. The staff has always been courteous & helpful. I especially appreciated them during the pandemic when they were strictly enforcing the mask mandate. Our lives & health were protected by their vigilance in this simple rule re: wearing a mask. Thank you!

I always love going in there! Everyone is like family. Some things are more expensive than other places, and some things are cheaper, so it evens out. Some things you can't find anywhere else, so that's definitely a Plus. Lots of organic and Vegan/ Vegetarian options as well as frozen fish and meats. Nice bulk selection isle( grains, nuts, seeds, herbs, spices and teas... Also the best selection of protein and meal replacement snack bars of anywhere I've ever been! Great Supplement section and an amazing in house selection of prepared foods and a cozy courtyard seeing area tucked away out back to enjoy a quick, healthy meal... Thanks for doing such a great job guys, and happy 25th anniversary!

I spend a lot of money here because it's close to my house. The store is spotless and you want for nothing, but the checkout folks could be a little more customer friendly. One checker didn't ring up my clearance item correctly, and when I reminded her the item was marked down, she said she did - and she *didn't*. (So a .99 item actually cost me the full retail $5.99.) Why the fib, just to get me out of the store quicker? The next time I went, I had a young man checking my order and he didn't greet or thank me, let alone tell me what the total of my order was. Just not the nicest people on the registers, why? I'll still shop here because it is a lovely store. (Just check your receipts to be sure you're getting the correct price.)

My favorite grocery store! I prefer this to Trader Joe’s because it has a wider variety and still healthy. Yes it is a little pricey but worth it for the taste and unique products.
