I had a great Americano! Strong but not overly bitter. I'm looking forward to swinging by again and trying something else from their menu.

I been to this location in the past and it was okay in person. But today I decided to try delivery through their website not only did the dasher not deliver one of the drinks but my partner tried the bagel and said it was burnt and tasted like paper. Also, he didn't enjoy the pumpkin spiced latte it tasted his words like garbage water. It didn't taste like pumpkin spice or coffee to him. My croissant was disappointingly small and oddly shaped in a square which is not a traditional croissant (I get some "croissants" are like this but I pictured it to be more in a crescent shape as that is what the word translates from French to English, what was served was a variation of Cubed Danish or Le Cube) and the chocolate there was hardly any in it, was very disappointed. I can't say what my drink tasted like as I never received it due to the delivery driver. Very disappointed over all in the quality of beverages and food for the prices that were paid.

Takes time to do the good things they do, but worth it. You might regert (sic) the 20% default tip before getting your order, but only by 5% at most.

The live plants give this place a tropical feel. Lots of vegan options.

First time having breakfast and boy oh boy does Rooted and Rind knock it out of the park. If you save room you must try one of their cookies. A+ people.

Charming little cafe. Excellent food, great veggie/vegan options. Lucky Delmar for having such a great, cozy place for food and drinks.

Great place. Friendly staff. I got the hummus veggie wrap, carrot ginger soup and strawberry lemonade. My husband got "meat and potatoes, " sandwhich and a smoothie. Everything was really good. I will go back!

Best vegan breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. I’ve been to some of the most vegan friendly cities in the world; NYC, LA, San Fran, Toronto, Melbourne and somehow this small spot in Delmar NY has a sandwich that topped all these spots.

I love this place but it’s ridiculous how often they have to unexpectedly close/change hours due to staffing issues. Sort it out, please! The coffee is great. Smoothies, salads, toast, great. No up charge for nondairy milks. We love it. We want to spend our money here. If only they were open.

Great hidden gem in Delmar. This cafe is fantastic. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food is awesome and the selection is varied. They have great mimosas and a big selection of teas and coffees. I had the matcha smoothie bowl. It was filling and refreshing. My dining companions had the beyond burger and breakfast sandwich which were both good. The seating area is bright with lots of plants. We will be back!

The food is healthy and delicious. I normally don't like healthy food since I never thought it tasted good. The locally sourced, fresh, yummy ingredients made the most AMAZING avocado toast. I had a fried egg put on top. Best advice from the owner, Nicole. Highly recommend Rooted and Rind if you're looking for really great food and such good coffee. Don't know what to get? Ask! They'll steer you in the right direction!

Fairly certain only vegan ingredients are sold here, however no mention of this was made anywhere on the menu. Asked for whole milk in my latte and received what I'm sure was some alternative. The coffee made me grimace ot was so bad.

This was a cute little stop that we took on our bike ride on the Helderberg to Hudson bike trail (Albany county rail trail) they have coffee, smoothies and breakfast sandwiches along with a variety of other things on the menu. There is a really nice outdoor space for eating with ample bike racks to park your bike. While we were there, 3 or 4 other groups of bikers stopped by. Food was good...staff was very friendly and we'd definitely stop here again.

This is a very cute coffee shop. They have a wide variety of flavors and milk alternatives for their drinks. They do also sell plants here and it has a very good atmosphere and the employees were very friendly. This is a hidden gem!

I was very pleasantly pleased to discover that there is now a plant based spot in town, which is something that this region is lacking in across the board. I can say that it did not disappoint, the food is delicious. I like the layout of the inside as well, would be a nice place for a coffee chat. Overall, I think this place stacks up with some of the best vegan cafes that I go to in NYC, it would be foolish to overlook this gem. Additionally, regarding the one star review that was left, I am constantly shocked that people don’t understand that orders are called in advance, reservations made, and some items being quicker to make than others. I will be coming back here when in town next!

Stopped in this lovely little restaurant well in the area and was made a great breakfast sandwich with impossible sausage. The young lady at the counter Amanda, was very outgoing and knowledgeable about the food, as well as the decor around the dying space. This place is easy to miss and it's current location so make sure you put your GPS on but this is a nice little place you don't want to miss.

Picturesque little cafe with a nice menu. Stopped in for a chai latte and also got a veggie burrito—the outside was grilled and crisp, very tasty. The baristas were efficient and kind. The prices are affordable. I will probably stop in again.

Cute new cafe right off the rail trail (excellent location), with a wide selection of smoothie and smoothie bowls, breakfast sandwiches and lunch bites.

Beautiful atmosphere and yummy food!

Took the family here last Saturday not knowing what to expect and came away pleasantly surprised. Had a bagel egg sandwich along with the "green" juice and loved them both. Going to head back soon to try other items.

Everything on the menu is so so good. I could eat the grilled cheese for every meal but most recently had the rooted bowl and a juice. Salads are huge and house made dressing was delicious. Highly recommend

I’m in love with the grilled cheese sandwich here and the toasts as well. Nicole and her staff work very hard. The R+R smoothie is my favorite. Great breakfast sandwiches and Lattes!

Coffee is good. Space is clean, bright and filled with happy plants. Staff is friendly! Wifi avail, so I'll probably visit often and linger. ✌️😁

This cafe is awesome! Everything on their menu is great - from the smoothies, to the homemade juices, to the toasts and bowls. For breakfast, I love the avocado toast and for something sweet, the cookies are great! Also love that they have mimosas :) It is a wonderful spot to hang out and enjoy - Delmar is lucky to have a place that focuses on healthy, good for you (and the planet) food options!

Great customer service! Breakfast sandwiches, açaí bowls, and smoothies are delicious. Atmosphere inside is adorable with plants all over. Outdoor seating is cute with overhanging lights. They have a water bowl outside for dogs. We had a wonderful experience!

My sons and I went here a few days ago and we all loved the smoothie bowls. I was surprised my boys ate the whole thing! Will definitely come again!
