Delicious and fun!! Christian and Michael were friendly, kind, and served us up an absolute feast at incredibly fair price. We are from out of town, first time in Maine, and told them we “wanted food!” The lobster was so good we ordered a second 🤣 The lobster roll was perfect-full of meat and not too much mayo, the lobster was piping hot and delicious as they cook in salt water, clams and mussels were the best I have ever had, topped of with a piece of pie for my husband’s birthday. Our favorite stop on our trip to Maine!!

Rose Eden is by far our favorite place to stop for a lobster dinner. They cook the lobsters in their own broth setting the flavor apart from so many others! Not only is their food delicious and their prices very fair, but they are so incredibly friendly. No frills, order at the window and feast at one of their picnic tables. They also offer local craft beer and wine. This is as pure of a local spot that you will find, away from the hustle and bustle. If you're looking for a more personal, quaint experience then look no further!

Nice little spot clean tables! Over cooked the lobster and it looks like it is a regular thing to do that. Price was okay. Disappointed in the fake butter….

Excellent lobster pound! Food was delicious and owners were incredibly friendly, showing us how to crack open the lobsters and giving us free pie! Highly recommend for anyone visiting bar harbor!

Great little place that buys each type of seafood from a specific local fisherman/boat - the lobster and mussels are great! The owner is super chill and accommodating, and let us order the seafood to Sweet Pea next door (also wonderful!) so we could enjoy pizzas and seafood.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Amazing fresh food, caught by the owner and head chef. Muscles, lobster, and corn all amazing. Best I’ve had. Owner is a great, down to earth guy. He’s so kind and I would love for other folks to support his business.

Excellent lobster. Very informal, like someone is cooking in their backyard for you. Lobster clams and corn cooked in seawater, no frills. Not kitschy or cute just good food.

If you’re looking for fresh high quality food this is it! Culinary highlight of our time in Maine, Josh was awesome and super chill. Corn was fresh from a farm stand and my dinner was swimming not even 20 minutes before I cracked that bad boy open

Amazing experience! We got twin lobsters, clams and corn. Everything tasted amazing. This road side eatery had multiple picnic tables outside to sit. Over all amazing experience with perfectly cooked lobsters!

Every trip has one of those special stand-out meals. This was one of them. The food was spectacular. Fresh caught lobster and mussels served simply (steamed with butter) stand out on their own without any assistance. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the ambiance (picnic tables in a yard), make for an enjoyable experience. Definitely stop by if you have the chance.

Absolutely best meal I have had in a while. Lobster and mussels were amazing and even the corn was better than any boiled corn I’ve ever had. If you’re in Maine, you better make the trip here!

Excellent roadside eatery. Big Lobster that is seasoned well. Fun for a southern ole boy to figure out how to attack and find some great tasting meat. Mussels and clams were great, too.

Super place for a real down home Maine lobster feed. Reasonable prices too! Delicious lobsters, warm butter, steamed mussels, and corn on the cob. Can't be beat. Stop by this great spot!

Stopped in to Rose Eden Lobster because of their great reviews, and they did not disappoint! The dinner was excellent and the lobster claws we got were the largest I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend Rose Eden and I would definitely eat there again.

Closed temporarily right now. It'll be opening soon, I hope, in a few weeks. Always fresh and cooked perfectly. Gets busy, though!

It was amazing and delicious. The lobsterman who caught the lobsters that day also cooked and served them to us. It was ocean to table. They were super nice and let our kids hold the live lobsters too.

Great experience and wonderful tasting food! The employees bent over backwards to make our experience enjoyable including showing us how they prepare the food but also the best way to eat it! Exactly what we were looking for after a long day in Acadia National Park!

Top-notch experience and lobster!

Perfect! The staff was incredible and very kid friendly. Lobsters were absolutely delicious and we even got a little tutorial on how to eat them from one of the ladies working there. They even have a clean up station!

The cutest family run lobster shack! It is a husband and wife small business where the husband is a lobster fisherman so you can bet that the lobster is fresh. We got a Lobster Meal for 2 where you get 2 lobsters, mussels (can upgrade to clams), and 2 ears of corn. They are also known for their blueberry pie - which you honestly cannot miss either. Everything was made fresh immediately for you and served piping hot! The lobster was super fresh and everything was just so nice. Their service was also of 5 star quality. It was such a welcoming experience just dining there. I cannot recommend this enough - a do not miss spot if you ever visit Bar Harbor/Acadia!

The lady who sold us live lobsters was so kind! She explained to my boys how to pick out a female and male lobster. She also showed them how to differentiate a pincher claw and a crushing claws.

After reading reviews, I really wanted to try Rose Eden Lobster on our trip to Bar Harbor. It was absolutely delicious and It's like sitting in someone's country backyard having dinner. We plan to return before our vacation ends! If you try it, you will not be disappointed!

OMG! This was THE best place to get lobster! So fresh and sweet and VERY reasonable. We were disappointed that they ran out of blueberry pie.

This place represents the true lobstah experience in Maine. We had the dinner for two with 1 1/2 lb (each) whole lobsters with mussels, clams, and corn. Delicious food, and amazing service. We even saw the owner even give a demonstration to the table next to us on how to break down the lobster. Don’t bother going elsewhere, best bang for your buck and best tasting we’ve had on our trip. Bring cash if you can. Sooo good!!

The one, the only Rose Eden Lobster. If you’re looking for out of this world lobster (and blueberry pie) and nothing else, you’ve come to the right place. Lobster heaven for the hard core.

Came hwre 8 years ago. Had lobster dinner here twice in the last 3 days, and loved it both times. Dined on site( rustic picnic area), and take home (for added butter). This family does it up right. Don't pass them by!

Oh my goodness was this the freshest and best tasting lobster ever. No need for butter as it’s so sweet. It’s a road side lobster shack 5 miles outside of town but it is worth the drive. The lobster is brought in fresh daily but the owners husband along with mussels and clams. The staff is as nice as can be. Don’t forget to get a slice of fresh blueberry pie or a lemon/blueberry whoopie pie to eat there or take home. You will definitely want to eat at this family owned lobster shack while in bar harbor. THEY DO ONE THING AND THEY DO IT RIGHT !!!!!!
