A fantastic dinner. They split our portions, the view was amazing of the sunset, and the whole staff was extremely friendly, most of them from Italy. Extremely authentic Italian cuisine. Alessio and Terezia were great!

Sat at the outdoor seating so we were in our bathing suits. Just a short walk from the beach.

Excellent spot for a special experience. The service is exceptional. Food excellent. I am looking forward to another visit Try the Caprese Buratta salad it was delicious! We had pasta as entrees, bolognese and caci pepe were yummy. desert choices looked amazing but we settled for a scoop of gelato. perfect evening in a lovely Italian themed dining room this restaurant seems to reserve outdoor dining for functions, such as weddings so we were unable to see the beautiful sunset. In the future I’d request a table on the bar near the window or try to go on a night when you could sit outside. parking is a breeze just know you have to go behind the hotel and follow the drive to the restaurant valet. Enjoy

This place is spectacular. We are snow birds on Marco Island, and this is the place we always take out of town guests to really impress them. Its right on the beach with a beautiful view! The food is outstanding, and they have the best bar on the island. True craft cocktails with a major attention to detail. Most of the employees are Italian, and really offer an authentic Italian experience. We ate at the bar tonight, and Alessandro gave us amazing service! We had the prosciutto & cantaloupe appetizer (highly recommend!) with their memorable complimentary bread basket, the ravioli special was perfection, and affogato for dessert! It was like we were in Italy. if you are a foodie, this is the best place to go on Marco Island.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Sale e Pepe this week. We've been many times over the past 13 years. As usual, we were met with a smile and a warm greeting by Delaney, the valet parking attendant. We were seated outdoors (which we highly recommend). Our server, Maurilia was attentive, but not overbearing, very pleasant and made excellent recommendations. My wife had the branzino and I had the veal Milanese, along with a half order of gnocchi. All was wonderful. The manager, Ivan, stopped by the table several times with a greeting. The meal was interrupted by a sudden downpour, which was handles quickly and professionally by the staff, relocating us and other patrons to covered outdoor seating. Sale e Pepe is expensive, but you do get what you pay for!

Great foodie spot on Marco Island, located at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort. The sunset view atop the outdoor dining patio makes this a really great experience. The food, and service . . . exquisite! Enjoy!

This is a very nice restaurant. It provides a premium experience. Be prepared to spend at least $50 per person. It’s expensive but the food is good and the service is top notch. My wife and I both got the Ippoglosso (halibut). It’s $52 so I was kind of expecting a little larger portion for that price. It comes with a parsley sauce and it’s definitely parsley. Haha. If you don’t like parsley, you better order something else. I also ordered a bowl of soup, Vellutata ($16) and my wife ordered mushrooms, Funghi ($12). It’s roaster squash soup and it was really good. The halibut also comes with roasted squash. It was good but as you can see in the photo, there’s just not much of it. There’s a little ring of it under the Halibut. Lastly, got to try an order of Cioccolato e Baileys ($13). The chocolate was very good. Highly recommend. If you like chocolate, you will love this desert. Overall great experience with a great view. They ring a bell at sunset. My fish wasn’t over the top outstanding. Portion size and maybe just a slight overcooked is why I’m only giving it 4 stars. Still good place to eat if you’re looking for fine dining.

This place was great it had many wonderful things like amazing workers food was awesome and when the sunset went down they ring a bell and before the manager forms a team to clap when the bell rings and you can get many awesome pictures

My review for Sale e Pepe will be the higher one. We come here 10 years in a row, always to celebrate and remember our anniversary and engagement 10 years ago. Always in the same table and the same season and never disappointed From the environment, extraordinary service, and quality food selection. Definitivamente the best choice in Marco Island and surrounding areas.

We have been dining here since they opened 20 years ago. It used to be much better when executive chef Alberto was there. He personally came to each table to make sure you were happy. Was there last night and wow did the portions get smaller. The martinis are a joke. Food is good and the atmosphere is excellent but won’t be rushing back anytime soon. You get what you pay for but sadly not here 😑

Beautiful restaurant and excellent waitstaff but the prices are not justified by the food. A bit pretentious on purpose.

We had fantastic time celebrating our anniversary. The view was wonderful and the service by Alessio and Manuel was perfect. My wife had the mushroom pasta special and I had the Veal dish which were excellent. I would highly recommend a visit.

From the moment you walk up to the front you’ll think you are in Italy. The statues outside to the ambiance inside, it is an incredible likeness of Europe. We sat outside overlooking the Gulf and glad we did. The service was top notch as were the incredible dishes. Bravo!

You're coming here for the incredible sunset view - not the food. As long as you know that, you'll enjoy yourself! Dined here with a party of 8 that included 2 kids. Good kids menu. Food was very meh, but we enjoyed the vibe and the sunset. Try to get outdoor seating, the indoor seating doesn't have as good of a view. BEWARE the dress code for indoor - we realized this when we had already traveled to Marco and didn't have the appropriate clothes. Thankfully they were able to move us to the bar, which does not have a dress code. Overall a nice time, but know you're not going for the food!

Perfect night out! Food was beyond delicious, service was fabulous, and satisfaction was 100% !! We wll absolute!y be back!!

Excellent high end restaurant right on the beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico with beautiful sunset views in South Marco Island. You can dine in smart casual alfresco on their outdoor patio, or more formally inside. One of the best Italian restaurants in Marco Island. Great service, wine selection and dinner entree options.

If you arenlooking for a very classy dining experience with beautiful water and sunset views then this is the place. The staff us friendly and helpful and the decore is great. They have a good wine list and make flavorful cocktails. It was hard to select a dish as they all sounded phenomenal. The pasta is homemade and would definitely order the short rib gnocchi and the spaghetti Fruita de mare again. The Buffalo mozzarella and tomatoe salad was so fresh and the grilled chicken better than you would think socyou should order it.

We go to Marco Island every year and this was, by far, the best dining experience that we’ve had in the area. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The service was top notch and the view is gorgeous. It’s located in a hotel but was easy to find. They have great signage directing you & valet parking. We will definitely be returning every year on our visit. There were four of us and we all had three course meals with different items and everyone positively loved each one of their courses.

The 2 bartenders who were from Italy really set the stage for a memorable evening! They were talented, engaged, and so charming! Loved the dinner, the view , and this place !

We did the valentines dinner. The food was good except my wagyu fillet was tiny with grizzle and was chewy. The price was high and that made the steak so disappointing. It didn’t taste or feel like wagyu. Everything else was very good. Great location.

We started our evening at the bar .. the drink menu was different and creative . The bar guys were pros .. and such fun to watch .. Our dinner waiter started out great .. by the end of our meal .. he wasn’t visible . Someone else delivered coffee.. someone else brought desert .. he showed up when it was time to pay our bill. We’ve been to a lot of places all over America and abroad ..What started off as an A+.. dropped to a D-.

Have continued to go back to this restaurant every year on our annual Florida Trip the last 8 years. Great seafood dishes, as well as creative and tasty pasta. Outstanding waiters and great support team. Had Valentin as our waiter this year. Areal pro and genuine person. Started with the sliced tuna and had the Halibut as the main entree. Recommend both. Normally get a bottle of wine, but instead had 3 different wines by the glass as there was excellent options across the many great wine regions in Italy. See you next year.

Sale Pepe has always been one of our go to places while visiting Marco Island for over 30 years. Easily one of the most beautiful restaurants we ever been to. Food is exemplary always. George our server was a delight. The problem is this new 20% “service charge added to bill. Unfortunately when questioned our server struggled to try and explain this added charge. It’s a shame the restaurant management chose to put their employees in such awkward and unnecessary position Either add the fee into the menu items or remove it entirely. This situation put a cloud over a very enjoyable evening, too bad. Please clarify.

This restaurant had the most amazing sunset views on their terrace. The food and drinks were excellent. They make their noodles by hand so if you enjoy spice, have the arrabiata pasta. Well worth the money!

It was a true dining experience, the best I have ever experienced. The food, service, presentation of our entire meal was excellent.

I had my birthday dinner there. Our server was nice, however the service was slow. Our drinks were not filled and our food took long to come out. We ordered a desert and never got that one, we did have to even asked for the check to get out of there…. So most likely forgot, however did not seem to be that busy.

Sale e Pepe on Marco Island is always one of our go to restaurants for fine dining. Ivan and Terezia the managers are always so attentive to your needs. The Chef Andrea is just an amazing chef with some awesome creations. The service and the food is always top shelf. Located on Marco Island it offers some great choices from pasta, fish and meats. Try to get a table outside and enjoy some amazing sunsets along the beach.

It was a beautiful setting. Food came out too fast and my husband hadn’t even finished his old fashioned. Wine was brought out while other drink was still being enjoyed. When we asked them to slow it down they did. Also they surprised us with a delicious Anniversary desert. Waiter was thoughtful and service was good.

Staff excellent. Thank You! But I do understand why how other reviews are so diverse. The ambience, view and staff are let down by the high prices for minimalist portions of very variable dishes. Some inspiring, others certainly not. Expect a bill of around $150 a cover for appetizer, main course, coffee and a glass of wine (prices of which were also impressive for what they were.) The 20% service charge is in large font on the check.

Everyone was so welcoming from the Valet driver, Restaraunt's manager, all the wait staff and our own waiter Jose. Jose was attentive, knowledgeable, along with his smile and superb care for us as we were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. The food did not disappoint and the bread basket had such a wonderful variety to choose from. The view was a perfect o g with a beautiful sunset was an addition to our dinning .

Wonderful dining experience. Our waiter, Valentine, was attentive to all our needs, explained the menu thoroughly, asked about any food allergies we might have which our son in law did have (dairy).

We dined at Sale E Pepe this evening as a belated birthday dinner. All four in our party liked our entrees. The Branzino was especially good. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We tried two of the desserts - the Maritozzo and the Cioccolato e Baileys. Both were delicious. We felt it was too cold and windy to eat outside but there were heaters for those who did. Plus it was too late to see the sunset. Overall pleased with our first visit and hope to come back for a sunset dinner.

Service was superb and ambiance was beautiful. Wish recipes and flavors of some of the more traditional dishes were also more traditional. I do live on the island and thought this would be a treat for my friends but not sure we’ll return based on the menu.

Dinner at Sal e Pepe is always special. The greetings and service are always friendly and gracious. We enjoyed the Caprese appetizer and two in our party had the flounder, one had the veal and one the grouper special. All were excellent. The occasion was bittersweet as it was our first visit since our long time friend and l server , Neb, was tragically killed just after Thanksgiving. He was a marvelous young man who was loved by all. His Spirit lives on and he will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace, my friend.

We chose to celebrate my wife's birthday at Sale and Pepe and were not disappointed. The wait staff was wonderful, the ambiance classy and the food outstanding. I had the veal Milanese and it was exceptional.

The food was superb and the service provided by Maria was excellent. Maria explained that the entrees are available as a half-portion which meant we could order an antipasti before our half-entree and not feel bloated.

Exquisite evening! All choices were delicious and beautiful in presentation. Setting gorgeous with sunset over the beach off patio. Staff attentive but not overbearing in any way. Had the Crudi (tuna at the time) and Polpo to start. Crudi was unique with light citrus touch. Polpo came with mussels too. Fruitti di Mare outstanding as was Halibut entree. Our third time here (twice last year) and always exceeds expectations. Going back 2/13 and will any chance we can.

Our evening at Sale e Pepe was outstanding. Our server Jose was wonderful and helped me find vegan options. My husband had oysters and the caprese salad. We both loved our meals and would highly recommend. We had a wonderful bottle of wine. The homemade lemon sorbet was a great end to our night. We went there for our anniversary. We reserved on the terrace and were seated with a perfect view of the water and sunset. The cocktails were delicious. The prosciutto and melon was very refreshing. Our meals were good but not outstanding. The service was perfect!

Best food on the island. Give Erich, the server, a shout out. He was great. One thing I will say is, we were celebrating my sons engagement and I specifically spoke with the confirmation call host and she assured me she would let server know. Nothing was mentioned. That was disappointing otherwise amazing. We will be back.

Everything about this restaurant was top shelf. The food, the staff, the service. I was there for a business event and the restaurant handled the event like pros. The beers were especially cold and the mixed drinks looked generous. I had the snapper for my entree and it was fantastic. In fact all of the plates at the table looked great. And the deliver of the food was so professional. I can't think of one recommendation that would have improved the experience. I look forward to the opportunity to visit with friends and family and share what a gem of a restaurant this is.

Wonderful service and food. Warm environment with options for indoor/outdoor, casual and more dressy. We enjoy getting dressed and going out now and then and this was the perfect spot and everything we ordered was delicious.
