I came in to eat and had Larrisa taking care of me. She was outstanding and very helpful and attentive! Will definitely be back to see her and have a good meal.

Stopped by for lunch..Was not sure what to pick but my waitress, a young lady named Larrisa, recommended I try the fajitas. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. Fajitas were amazing! Great food and service. A win, win! Definitely will be back to try more things on the menu and will also always ask for Larrisa anytime I stop here.

Food today was not quite as good as we have had in the past. Too 😞 bad

We went around 3:30 so we were the only diners for most of our visit. Our waiter and waitress were both wonderful. He was very patient. I wish he wore a name tag because though I asked, I forgot his name.This place is large . The food was a big disappointment to me. This area has tons of super tasty Mexican restaurants but I ,myself, would not include this one. They were very generous with the meat but it was very salty. My dining partner agreed with me on that note. I ordered the #1 combo. The hard taco shell was mushy on one side. The buŕrito and enchilada didn't include any toppings but the nice server brought me some lettuce and tomatoes helped a little with the dryness. The rice was pretty bland. They also don't sell sope's which are my favorite. Service was awesome, atmosphere pretty nice ( I did think the huge TV was a distraction) and the food was meh for this area

What a wonderful dining experience here in The Seaplane City! Perfectly prepared Mexican food with a Mariachi Band and so much more! We had great service from Jada and Karina’s Balloon Art was fun to watch! Trying to guess what she was making was hilarious! Great job everyone!! Tonights fare were quesadillas, tacos, Mexican pizza, tamales and margaritas!

Came in for dinner last night and Jada took care of us. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and Mexican food in general! Service from all staff was phenomenal. We got molcajetes and fajitas and they were soooo good! The lava cake after dinner also hit the spot! Would recommend this place to any friend or family member! Thank you salsa!

First time coming here, and the food was fantastic. I have dietary restrictions and the kitchen made me a special order of Guacamole to accommodate me. Our waitress Jada was super attentive and pleasant. She made sure we always had full drinks and anything else we needed. Would def recommend for a night out with the girls for some salsa and margs or even a nice family dinner. We happened to come in on a night where they were doing amazing balloon animals/characters for all the kids too!

The service and atmosphere was amazing. They were playing recent or iconic mexican songs. The food was good, not 100% authentic but that makes sense due to the surrounding location. So they have to cater to the "american" audience.

My family wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant this past weekend so we tried Salsa…. and ohhh I’m glad we did! The two waitresses were so friendly and never lost their smile! I ordered Carnitas enchiladas verde and it was delicious!

We went there about 4ish,today, Thursday. Excellent dinner for the 4 of us. Sangria was awesome. We thank Salsa for a fabulous dinner.

The food was great. Didn't like that you had to pay for refills on chips & salsa. The service was so-so. Funny smell in restaurant, flooded floor on way to bathroom. Wet sign put out, but no one mopped the water up.

The staff of Salsa took on our very large party, with very little notice to get ready, when another neighboring restaurant gave our tables to another group. With only two wait staff available, they handled our large party wonderfully (even when the soda machine broke). We had time to kill in between soccer matches so we didn't have any issue that things took a little longer. The food was great and the servers kept great attitudes.

I love this place! Perfect place to celebrate in large groups or just to eat out with the family. I love trying new dishes and they never disappoint. Servers are so friendly and welcoming.

The staff was very friendly, and the food came out really fast. We came in and it smelled like someone was smoking a vape. The menus were dirty and the table was dirty. We walked in right at opening so it should have been clean in there. The food was definitely not authentic. The crunchy shells were cold like they were from a package, and not warmed up. The meat was really greasy, I filled two napkins with the grease that dripped off. The toppings were fresh. The refried beans tasted like from a can, and the rice was very bland like white rice with a little tomato sauce added. Salsa was okay, chips were kind of stale. Everything was kind of cold. We were there right after opening so I feel everything should have been fresh and hot. But again I will say the people working there were so very nice.

Food was great and Service was fast and outstanding. Salsa was wonderful. Balloon lady was very sweet. I will come again next time I'm in the area.

The food was good, however I have NEVER BEEN TO A MEXICAN RESTAURANT AND THEY CHARGED YOU FOR EXTRA CHIPS AND SALSA!!!!! When I pay $40.+ to eat at this place I certainly do not expect to pay for another VERY SMALL basket of chips and SMALL little cup of salsa. First time I thought out waitress was just new. But second time I ask about!! Probably won’t be back.

Enjoyed the music and balloon woman!! It was a surprisingly fun night. Food was hot and definitely better than other Mexican restaurants in the area. Well be back with family visiting to show them a good night!

We went there for our 25th anniversary celebration. We told the person who seated us this as well, and she acted like big deal and rolled her eyes. She seated us. We waited an extremely long time to be waited on, and there were literally only one table when we were seated, we had to ask multiple times for the same thing such as a water refill three requests before we got any salsa three request again. When our food finally came out which we didn’t mind the weight, if it was going to be prepared nicely, my enchilada was crispy, as was my beans on top , the dish appeared it had been sitting possibly in an oven being kept warm and it became overcooked. It was gross and dried out. I ended up getting a box to go and requested some enchilada sauce to go so that maybe I could doctor it up when I got home she brought me salsa I had to again ask for enchilada sauce, the red sauce And she went and finally got it. No dessert was offered. We truly felt like we were in the way and the place was practically empty. That should’ve been the first sign. It was a very disappointing experience and sadly it was our 25th anniversary kind of a big one we chose Mexican because that’s where we went on our first date .

Popped in for lunch. By far the most expensive Mexican restaurant in the area. Nothing special about the food. Service was good and so was the food. Only complaint I have was the pricing.

We went for happy hour margaritas on a Friday. I don't typically like Mexican. But I've been back several times and haven't had a bad meal yet. I was impressed. The service is great. The band was entertaining and they even have a young lady that is amazing with balloons on certain days. It's our Friday after work spot now.

This place made our group very happy. Service was a little slow at the beginning, but the food, the drinks and our server, Israel, made up for it. The portions are very generous and tasty. The drinks (2for1) were also very good. Our group enjoyed everything and will absolutely return!

Bland food... dry tortillas... nothing that I could find to really like... well... the Mexican corn was good .. but no tajin... disappointed.

I had the Mexican pizza with beef and chorizo and it was delicious! My son has a chimichanga and his girlfriend has flautas and they both said they were delicious. The margarita I had was great. Our server was attentive without being intrusive and I even ordered fajita (steak and onions only) to go for my husband who wasn't able to make it for dinner and he said that was good too.

I was really surprised by the food it was great

Fresh tortilla chips and fresh pico was very good. I had the street style tacos, steak and grilled chicken, excellent. My friend had the chimichanga, it was delicious. This place is the real deal, highly recommended.

Leaving this place & OMG everyone went above and beyond but our server Jade was amazing! Thank you for a GREAT early dinner. Everything was delish & fresh. We will definitely be back.

The food at Salsa's is always excellent. We went recently to celebrate a family birthday and our server Jada went out of her way to make the moment memorable. Ice cream was given to the birthday boy and each of the children, everything was very nice.

Update 8.19.23: My rating changed from a four down to a three. Of course, I would actually waited somewhere in between. So the food was really good and the portions are still generous. Though I would say that the atmosphere was lacking a bit cuz the place just didn't feel quite as clean and there was an unusual scent when we came in and it didn't smell quite like a food smell. So I was a little bit leery. I also think they need new carpeting and that could be the issue of embedded odors. Our server was really nice though I would say between that and the kitchen things just were not on point that night. When asking for a mild salsa that took an extra 10 minutes. When trying to get water when we ran out during a spicier part of the meal that took about 10 minutes. One of the items that was ordered was also the incorrect combo type. An adjustment was made by offering us an extra side of the meat that was originally ordered but that came once we were done with the meal. Also, plates are never offered for chips and salsa which makes for a messy table and then when a shared large meal was brought to the table, plates weren't brought at that time either. And it took several minutes just to get the attention of the server to bring plates. I'm sure with a little bit of attention and maybe different flooring this place could be back up to par as the food is really good. Original: We were pleasantly surprised. We have been wanting to try this place for quite some time but weren't quite sure if it would be good. We went on a Saturday afternoon after the standard lunch hour. Because we were off our the place was empty. But I must say that the service was great and our waiter paid appropriate attention to us and he was very pleasant. They were able to accommodate special requests. He was able to help out on food choices in recommendations. Food came out in a timely manner and was hot. We would certainly give them another try. I would say that the one negative was that they should move the cleaning cart station area because it's right in the middle of the restaurant where you walk past it and see all discarded food and plates and stuff like that. That should be not only hidden behind something else or move to a different section of the restaurant, but it should be taken back to the kitchen to be cleaned and not left out where people walk by it. Next to that also was a table with a few cleaning supplies and such and to me that should all be in the background but except for that minor easy fix it was well worth the visit.

We decided to try it again and were not disappointed. Food and drinks were very good, muy sabrosos.. Alexander was a great server. We definitely will return with some friends. It wasn't too bad a place to eat. It was crowded so the service was slow, understandably. My friends & family liked their food. I found the chicken in my Tamales was rather dry even though there were roja salsa & salsa Verde. I was somewhat disappointed.

Great tasting food. We tried *Fried Avacado, and it was really good, with a smooth, and silky texture. Mango margaritas are amazing and happy hour does not disappoint. We are both vegetarian with my wife being almost vegan; there are so many choices on the menu. Our server was very good and the restless of the staff seemed pleasant and helpful.

Alex was the bartender! He was amazing, friendly, and knows his margaritas. The food was really good, will definitely be stopping here again. It has a different style menu for Mexican and was fantastic

One of the best Mexican options in the Tavares area. The chicken in my burrito was tender and full of flavor, no chunky gristle. The ground beef was also flavorful, making a tasty alternative option. The parking lot is huge, and the interior had plenty of booths and tables. The back screened in lanai had around 7 round tables which sat 4 people each, and there were a few two-person square tables in front to ensure there are plenty of outdoor seating options. I think I'd be a frequent visitor if it was a bit more budget friendly. Or if there were cheaper lunch specials. But, overall, this is a great place to treat yourself.

Both the cuisine and the tamarindo margarita were excellent! (if you prefer a more sour flavor for the margarita. If not the house margarita is excellent too!) Excellent staff and service. The Mexican food here is wonderful. Everyone was courteous. Definitely would suggest to everyone. The background Spanish music was fantastic. The meals came in a timely manner as well. No complaints here.

This place had some of the best Mexican food I ever had. It took a little time to get the food because of the same issues other restaurants are having, short on help, but it was well worth the wait. Our waitress made the wait better because she was very attentive to our needs. So here's a shout out to Arlette for being awesome!!! :-)
