We love coming here to eat, they have so many options to pick from. The grilled chicken is amazing. The staff is never rude.

Seth's is a great place to come too if you are confused on where to go out here in this small town. Full of great people, food that will leave you filled, and an atmosphere of the town. High spirits, high intensity, hard workers, they deserve every bit of any support. They would love to see you here so stop by and get the crawfish when they get it! They are spicy but nice.

Nothing like Seth's. THE place to go in the Alba/ Winnsboro/ Yantis/ Quitman area. Although i know people who travel 90 minutes round trip. I dine there weekly and it is always a highlight of the week. Ask Seth about his special steaks

Update: After Seth’s response to my review (below), I’d like to amend it: I was unaware that we could ask for a different version of the fried food, a more crispy battered version. That could make all the difference. As to the water issue, if/when I return to Seth’s, I will take my own drink. But I stand by my concern about the taste/smell of the water and that a restaurant shouldn’t have that problem, should have whatever is causing it repaired or overhauled. I’d be very surprised if I’m the first person to have noticed it. I apologize for the original negative review; I rarely leave negative reviews and try to emphasize the positives. I’m thankful Seth’s response added a positive light. “I like the IDEA of Seth's since it's so close to where I live. I also really like the employees. But in my opinion, the breading on their fish, okra, and other fried foods isn't crispy enough, and therefore isn't enjoyable. But the thing that bothers me most is the drinking water. There is always a taste of...not sure what. Old pipes? I don't even want to wager a guess of what else it could be. I've been going to Seth's off and on for almost five years, and the water still has the same taste and smell. I was hoping that since I hadn't been there in about a year it would be better. But nope. I'm hopeful though, that maybe one of these days, whatever causes that terrible water taste and smell, will be repaired and it will be better.”

First time visit. Great food, owner and atmosphere. Will definitely be back many times. The DGS is excellent.

Catfish and shrimp are good but the portions are way to small. Your better off going to Wades Place or East Texas Burger company as they give you double what you get here.

Apparently the patron is never right. Our orders were screwed up. I ordered a small plate of gator tails blackened.. my friend ordered blackened shrimp . They were great But waitress brought it out before her shrimp was ready.I ordered a glass of lemonade but it took forever and I asked the girl she said after I saw her giving two other tables refills, if they ran out of lemonade After awhile I asked ,where's my lemonade it's been over 5 minutes. Anyhow her shrimp never came. Only my meal was on the ticket. I paid for what they brought me but I will never eat there again . I pray others have a better experience than we did

It's a fantastic place. Between the phenomenal service and the great food. I find myself going back every other week or so.

i took my wife there for here 34th birthday our first time EVER there !!service is not very good nor proper.besides the place being very crowded the lady who took our order i won’t even call her a server nor a waitress due to the fact they introduce them selves hi my name is ….. i will be your waitress ect…… nope she just came past us and said yall want something to drink????? just like that we looked at her like really and we proceeded to order our drinks she just took off !!! i feel like they need to be more professional more hospitality NO matter the RACE NOT EVEN AT CIRCLE M,that they are way more packed do they treat thier customers like this !!!!! i’m only giving them two stars for the food is ok but as far as the service 0 stars they dnt even deserve half a star and atmosphere also 0 you either have to be full white american or show off that you have money to be treated like a customer so sad to see this in a small community where it’s supposed to be united and christian like!!!! never going back and will spread the word

A camping friend told me about Seth's so along with a couple we checked it out. A quaint place 2 miles from Quitman Texas and food, service and atmosphere was unbelievable. Crawfish being my reason for going and they did not disappoint. Just as good as being in Cajun country or better. Shelby was our waitress and she was absolutely awesome. Hats off to her. The entire staff there were great. Thanks to you all there for our having an incredible meal and enjoyable time.

Been visiting for quite sometime, never disappointed. Never had a bad dish, but the Mudbugs are my favorite. The Boudin Eggrolls are also scrumptious. The Gumbo is liked as well. Don't forget the patio seating.😋

My wife and I dined here today, and it was excellent. I had the pork ribeye, and my wife had the fried catfish with gumbo and sweet potato fries. I couldn’t help myself, I had to try a few. Guess I’ll get those next time I’m here. They were awesome. I also met the owner, Seth, and he was a very nice guy. I enjoyed meeting and talking with him very much. Our server was also very pleasant and friendly and did a great job. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice place to eat, and I look forward to coming back again soon.

Awesome food and incredible service! The staff were as kind and warm as you’d expect in East Texas. The food was absolutely to die for. I usually get the D.G.S. We come here several times a year from Oklahoma when we visit family and it’s always a great place

My husband had a shrimp po boy. He really liked it. Was good. I had a hamburger. Was the Best burger ever. Charcoal grilled meat. Grilled hamburger bun. Meat was cooked perfect and so tender.

I love this place so much! It’s so cute inside and it’s a place where you can get great food! The only problem I have is the crawfish, they are very good and flavorful but they are always dirty… washing them a little more to the point where I’m not eating dirt would be nice!

Our first time at Seth’s for lunch on Good Friday, it was busy, but the staff was efficient and friendly! The food is Fantastic!! So many good choices, we opted for the Deep Fried Boudin and it was delicious!! My husband had the fried alligator and hush puppies along with cup of gumbo. He was definitely enjoying himself! I had the DGS (Damn good stuff) and it was!! How lucky are we to have such authentic Louisiana cuisine right here in Wood County! We’ll be back!

Huge shrimp, tasty catfish, excellent sweet potato fries and OUTSTANDING hush puppies! Oh, almost forgot about the fried pickles and crab balls, very tasty. Topped things off with a wonderful whiskey cake.

Ate here for the first time on Saturday. The service was very good and the food came out in a timely manner. The crawfish had the best flavor of any I have gotten around lately, fried jalepeno strips were good, the etoufee and red beans and rice were good. We orded fish plates small blackened for the wife and she loved it. I had the fried plate and was very happy, the fish had very good flavor with propper amount of breading. We also head bread pudding for desert also very good. We do not have anything bad to say and will gladly be back.

The atmosphere at this place is spot on. The service was amazing. The food was not the best. I got 6 overcooked small shrimps on my half salad. The PO boy was just as bad. It was basically a bread sandwich. The coconut pie was hard and slimy

On vacation and decided to stop in. We ordered a half shrimp salad and shrimp po boy. They messed up the po boy and had Catfish on it. The waitress quickly helped and within 3 min had a new sandwich. However I think they just swapped the meat on the sandwich. Shrimp was cold and my fried okra was now cold. There was maybe 6 small shrimp on a HUGE sub... shrimp was very tough... shrimp salad had maybe 6 shrimp on it. Also tough. Dizzy Daq's was way better!!!

The fish was good not great just not as crispy and firm as I like. When I pick up a piece of fish it should not be floppy but firm.

I really enjoyed this place for a ehile until i went ro eat there the other day and i found roaches in my sea food never again will i eat here again.

Seth caterered our wedding yesterday. We didn’t have time to taste the food before the wedding and that was ok, because it was the best food. We were amazed by the sweet potato fries and white chocolate sauce. Everyone commented on how good the food was. He also worked with our budget which was so nice. We would be willing to drive the two hours from Dallas to Mineola/quitman just to eat his food again. And may just do that on occasion. Thank you Seth!

We had catfish which wasn't hot. It came with 1 hushpuppy and some mediocre fries. The stmosphere was unique. We were served at picnic tables in an enclosed porch under a huge tree. The service was the best part. Our waitress was excellent. Just a shame the kitchen wasn't up to par.

We tried Seth's for the first time tonight, and it far exceeded our expectations. Honestly, our real motive in going there was to try the white chocolate bread pudding. Oh my goodness!!!! It was divine! We ordered cheeseburgers and fries, which were perfectly prepared. I asked for my fries to be crisp, and they were. We observed a few people who ordered the Cajun chicken Alfredo with toast. It looked amazing, and I may try it on my next visit. I was told to consider ordering the pork ribeye in the future because it is so good. It is infused with butter once they come in and then dipped in honey and seared, making a unique and tasty treat. Honestly, I think I want to try almost everything on the menu.

This is our absolute favorite place to eat on special occasions! The food is always exceptional.

Was not impressed at all. Paid $60 for an appetizer, green beans, they were soggy and had no flavor. Ordered the ribeye because we saw a video put together by Wood County where it was said they had the best steak in East Texas, that would not be the case, it was pretty much raw, and was grey in color. Ordered the boiled corn and onion rings. No where on the menu did it say the corn was dusted with anything. The seasoning on the corn was so spicy that it burned my lips and mouth and I eat spicy food and peppers. The onion rings had no flavor. To top it off we got to the restaurant about 730 and when the waitress came over her comment was we close at 8 so do you know what you want to order otherwise we won't have time to cook for you. I own a restaurant, she would be fired immediately. Hospitality is everything in this industry. We never turn anyone away. If you treat your customers like they are an irritant, you are in the wrong industry. Unfortunately, I won't be back.
