If you want a really good sub, delicious rolls and breads, cold cuts, or Italian specialties, this is the place to go. The food is fresh and the shop immaculate. The owner is kind and friendly and the staff is always quick and efficient. The food is so good.

We stopped here when we were in town and got a sandwich and a wrap. My wife said the bread was stale and it tasted off, so she threw it out. I ate my wrap but my stomach was off for a day.

I was up from Franklin TN and Lenny and the staff have always been the best. I stocked up for my trip home with the best roast beef and Swiss sub I have ever had, pork roll, Thumann hot dogs, tons of hard rolls, brownie and blueberry turnover. Lenny you need to open in the Nashville area. My family have been customers as long as I can remember. I love them and will be back for sure.

They used to be premium Italian deli, that is no more. Awful cheesteak!! Meat in chunks and hard. I think rubber bullets might be softer. Never going back there again!!

Just got a sandwich here for the first time and it was HUGE! No skimpy sandwiches here! And the prices are so reasonable. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the selection that the have in the store is just amazing. I can’t wait to go back!

I can not say enough great things about Valente's Italian Deli. The actual product they have is top notch. They make it a point to sell the best. This is not shoprite brand stuff. The meats and poultry are worth every penny. I can go on and on. By the way, Lenny's fresh Mozzarella is the best on the Jersey Shore. My wife is a trained chef and when we have a couple extra dollars to get great product to make an awesome dinner, we go to Valente's Italian Deli. If you appreciate great high quality food it is the best in our area.

Absolutely horrible I just left there. Ran in to get a chicken salad sandwich 🥪 for a friend for lunch I asked the tall kid behind the counter what type of bread they had. He points to behind the register an says it’s over there 👉 and he had some bread behind him So I the customer has to figure it out ?? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. So then I pick a bread 🍞 an asked what does he put on the sandwich so again what ever I want. Not a list suggestions. So he then proceeded to make the sandwich not washing hands Slapped literally a scoop of chicken salad on the bread. One slice of tomato a small sliver of lettuce an a thin slice of cheese Handed it over an said here So I’m like ok So he is like I guess I have to ring you up. So go to the register!! So rang me up. I grabbed chips. I got a eye roll Then I asked for a bag an napkins. An a hugh huff an puff comes out. Who is this kid. An why my god why is he in customer service Is your life that bad ??? Avoid the kid an the place !!! Better delis out there and better food and services This is. Minus 10 Stars !!

Best Italian deli around! Cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is fresh & delicious, the help is friendly, and the owner Lenny is a sweetheart. Such a nice man, always greets you with a smile and friendly attitude. The chicken salad with cranberries is my favorite, and the blueberry turnovers are amazing! Definitely one of my favorite local spots, you won’t be disappointed!

Off the beaten path a little but glad I came. This is your standard deli with all the fixings. The chicken salad with cranberry was delicious. Hard to make chicken salad well and they did it. The chicken cutlet sandwich I ordered was the star of the show. Loved it. The meatballs however were bland. The italian sub was good and they freshly slice the cold cuts to order. The customer service was ok as well but felt like they got a little annoyed that I kept ordering stuff. Nevertheless, I will be back for the food!

Our kids baseball team was in the area to play ball over the past weekend you guys were recommend as a place to get sandwich’s We got quite a bunch of food and you did not disappoint. I would go back again for the sandwich’s and check out all the other goodies..👍🏼👍🏼

Work right in wall for the past 11 years and never went into this place. The other day the kids wanted Italian subs for dinner. I jumped on and searched best subs near 07719 and this came up. I looked into the reviews it was above our cutoff of 4.5 stars and above. So glad we went...great little Italian market with all sorts of things for pick up. Great quality deli with a small butcher in the back. Sub was incredible.....meat sliced nice and thin. Sandwich and service were great. Met Lenny at the counter who was very nice! Keep up the great work.

It's easily one of the best spots in the Monmouth area. The sandwiches are colossal, and everything is fresh, made in-house, including the bread. Lenny, the owner, is a is a fantastic guy, and the employees are just as great!

Very clean deli. The people asking the sandwiches and food are excellent and crafted. You can also sit and eat there, which is a plus. The owner is very friendly. Meat sliced nice and thin. Used to be a good deli… HOWEVER ON 3-21-23 I stopped by and the deli lady was not very good. Got my order really wrong ..and I was the only person in there … She doesn’t listen very well. AND THEN.. at the register was another lady who looked mad as heck to be there… never said a word to me ….NOTHING…. JUST RANG UP MY $60 order … put everything in one bag like she was paying for the paper bags …and totally ignored me !!!!! WOW!!!!NEVER GOING BACK !!! And suggest was the worst experience I had for a $60 order!!!!! Meatballs were HORRIBLE !!!!!! yikes……!!!!!!!! don’t WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!

The best subs around. They have Boars Head meats and cheeses, and they are VERY generous with the amount of meat they put on your sub. Owner is extremely nice and fun to talk to.

Our go to for anything Italian plus traditional sub sandwiches, salads, and desserts. This place is the best. Subs are top notch. The salads are a work of art. Staff is friendly and makes you feel like family. 10/10 would recommend.

Valente's is a family favorite. We love the fresh mozzarella roasted pepper sub, and the coleslaw is stellar too. I love the little train that circles the shop, charming little deli.

Great Italian deli in Wall. Reminiscent of the NY or North Jersey delis with excellent prepared dinners and butcher shop. Salads, cold cuts, hot and cold sandwiches, you name it. Breakfast sandwiches are awesome. Fresh rolls, some baked on premises. There is an assortment of imported specialty goods. A mini grocery store with bread, milk, eggs, cereal, condiments and so much more in case you forgot something at the food store. They even do catering! The people that work here are friendly and helpful. The owner, Lenny, is super nice!

This is how a business should be run. Good product, great customer service. Lenny is professional, appreciates your business, and makes it a point to tell you that! Other people in business or customer service should learn a lesson from him.

Ordered several sandwiches including a couple of cheesesteaks. Get there and am told “we can’t make cheesesteaks as our grill is already shut down “. And met with indifference when I suggested that a phone call would have been helpful so we would be able to order something else. And what was received was very much not the quality we are use to getting. The chicken parm subs were bland and needed “doctoring” to eat them. Normally Valentes is on point. But not right now.

We picked up food for the first time on Mother’s Day, everything was fresh and absolutely delicious from the Lasagna, to the chicken cutlets. The pasta salad was to die for and so was the banana cake. Owner and staff were very helpful. Great experience! High quality food at a fair price, planning on making this our go to spot.

The owners, the staff, the establishment itself is a true class act. Friendly, welcoming, clean and I haven’t ordered anything I haven’t truly liked. Places like this Deli are not easily found, dime a dozen..

The food is very good. The place is clean and cozy. I do think that when they are busy sometimes the way its prepared is inconsistent. They deserve the 5 stars because they really care about the customer and the food quality is top notch. Expensive, but worth it.

This place RULES! Official Thicc boys served up on great bread. The sandwiches are actually thick too not just piled up in the center like some places. It’s everything you’d expect from a great italian deli in New Jersey. Meals to go, Stromboli, every salad you can think of and a little butcher shop in the back.
