Not one for chains and we have been to another location. This is by far one of the best places around, we will be back. Family of 4 with two kids below 5 for reference

Got all you can eat popcorn shrimp and Mermaid Water Party Bucket. Both were awesome. Portion size for the first serving was beyond amazing. Everything was delicious. Definitely a need to go to place.

This must be a chain. I ordered a Coconut Shrimp basket and my husband ordered the Oyster basket. There was horseradish in my dipping sauce (🤢) and when I asked for some without horseradish we were told it was premade and nothing he could do. Our server didn’t even know it had horseradish in it. My husband didn’t finish his oysters because they were so over cooked. When we told the server he didn’t say a thing. Definitely will not be back.

Very delicious food, good service, I traveled from Dallas to Pensacola and tried the crab legs with Cajun shrimp and medium spicy. The only thing is that the crab legs are small but otherwise everything was very good. I would definitely return again.

Went on a quiet Saturday night. Close to closing time. We had an excellent waitress. There was 10 of us and she was super sweet and patient. She was pregnant and didn't miss a beat. I'd return based on service alone. The food was good. I'd want a bit more flavor but this night everyone was happy. We ordered a variety. Fix would be the go to choice. The stuffed crab was ok to have. The gumbo wouldn't be a top pick, nor would the boil. I'd select the wings, fish, shrimp, or have a burger. This is just my opinion but like I said everyone in our group was happy with their choices so it's up to your taste. Cleanliness. Service area was clean. I restaurants were not bad. The price is set great. Definitely not to expensive. The most bang for your buck

Brought the family here for a Birthday celebration and it definitely wont be our last. Food was fresh and our server Dominique made our visit so much fun and was very attentive to us. She even recommended the funnel cake fries which was the perfect ending to our night!

I must say, every time I come to this location.. the service has been nothing but EXCELLENT! When I called to make an order, I got it right on time. Dominique, made sure my order was ready and accurate! I really appreciate the business in Warrington. Keep up the good work!

First I was lied to when changing my order pick up time they tried to tell me it was already made when I called one minute after. When going to pick my food up I guess the completely non relevant conversations between the associate I assume to be manger was more important then greeting and getting my already ordered food . This is not my first bad experience I just like to give chances.. teach your staff customer first over talking with staff and already EATING customers.

Service was great. The ambience was great. However, the food was severely lacking. French fries were cold, cheese grits were cold, the fish was stuck together, so not sure if it was frozen or put in together but it wasn't completely done in the middle. There were no raw oysters and this was the middle of early dinner on a Saturday. Although we had eight people in our party it still took an extremely long time to receive our dinner. Very subpar from a product standpoint

This is my favorite place to eat in town hands down. One of the few places where I feel like the food served matches the price paid. Chill atmosphere and the service is always excellent. 10/10 highly recoomended.

We enjoyed a late lunch at the Shrimp Basket (709 N. Navy Blvd.). The inside was very relaxed, and the focus was on the food and great service. Dominique was our server, and she was fantastic (attentive, polite, helpful, and very sweet). Each of us ordered something different: catfish, fried whitefish, grilled whitefish and shrimp, and blackened whitefish and shrimp. We also ordered a crab cake to try. We really liked the sides, too: sweet potato fries, regular fries, red potatoes, corn fritter, hushpuppies, and shrimp slaw. We tried each other's food, and everything tasted fantastic! The meal was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The Shrimp Basket provided a delightful dining experience for our family!

Went here to eat with my fiancé for a light lunch while on vacation; and have to say, we had a really great afternoon! Her fish was well cooked and seasoned just right, while my fried shrimp were nice and crispy! The restarting also had a nice rustic vibe on the inside, that looked a bit dated but had great comfy atmosphere. Our server was nice and attentive and never left us unattended for long. We also had a lovely chat with the manager Alec who presented a wonderful conversation and congratulated us for our upcoming wedding. Can not recommend this place enough to anyone local to the Pensacola area, and will be sure to stop by again if we are ever in the area.

Had moms 86 birthday dinner there. Had a great time. Had all you can eat crab legs plus other dinners. A little pricey but the service and staff made up for it. Definitely will return

Navy Blvd location. Had to wait over an hour to get our food. Hubby ordered all you can eat shrimp and they have yet to bring out any more. If you value your time or have young kids you might not want to come here today.

The wait wasn’t too bad when we went around 6-6:30. maybe around 20-30 minutes. The server was very nice and welcoming. She was also pretty fast on taking drink and meal orders. Food came out fast and fresh. It was very delicious. I got the grilled chicken, which was seasoned really good and was tender, with broccoli and a salad for about $17(one of the cheaper options). My family got different types of seafood dishes and really enjoyed them. Overall, a really great experience! Will be back!

I highly recommend you stop by and check them out if you’re in the Pensacola Warrington area. Great prices even better food and service. The shrimp or chicken pasta is my favorite but I haven’t had anything I didn’t like.

I had the creole shrimp. While I thoroughly enjoyed the dish, I must say it had no spice. It's flavourful but not in any way spicy. Which was a bit disappointing, but I am quite used to it in missiouri and kansas. Was just expecting something a bit more from the south.

WOW ! What a great place. First timers and we will be regulars. Started with the smoked fish dip then shared the Crab in paradise burger, it's 2 burger patties topped off with a crab cake patty with all the trimming and served with side. Between great food and service it was a great find.

Typical Gulfshore seafood spot. Inside was a bit rustic but clean and well lit. Service was fast and friendly. The shrimp was well seasoned, crispy, and tasty. The fries were a bit soggy but nothing too bad. The key lime pie was a real treat. Light, citrusy, and a nice graham cracker crust. Prices are fair. 10% military discount. Overall a good little spot in Pensacola.

After driving for 7 hours, all I wanted was fresh seafood and a hard bed. The Shrimp Basket provided the BEST Shrimp Poboy this side of NOLA and the service was impeccable. Price is on-point. THIS PLACE IS A MUST-HAVE!

Everyone was pleased with their food. Shrimp pasta, shrimp and cheese grits and steamed shrimp were all quite good. Oysters were good as well. Horseradish was really hot!

Food was good as usual, but I wanted to mention that the wait staff was very friendly. Also, they all seemed to be enjoying their job. That creates a good vibe for the whole restaurant. One other bonus at this location, they have lots of good shady parking spots.

My waitress was super great. The girl that seated us was snobby & sent off bad vibes. The food was delicious. Should have gotten their names, but we paid under Donna Moore Knight. Would have given you a five if it wasn't for that greeter.

My husband and I are new to the area and we absolutely love seafood. Looking for local places to eat, we found Shrimp Basket, and decided to make it a date night. They have a LOT of delicious options to choose from. My husband and I both got the blackened redfish and we both got some add ons, such as popcorn shrimp, and stuffed crab. We also ate the crab cakes and they are DELICIOUS. They’re actually made like crab cake and have tons of flavor compared to something like Long John Silvers or some other seafood chain. They have a bar, indoor seating, and outdoor seating. While the prices are a little pricey depending on what you get, the food is well worth it. A lovely server named Denice took care of us and she gave us plenty of time to decide on what we would like, made some good recommendations, and was very timely in checking up on us. Give the place a try!

Long time customer that visited for the last time. Service was ok, but not the best. The atmosphere was dingy. Ordered a combo platter for almost $20 and got a small tray of food that consisted of 12 pieces of fried okra, 5 small shrimp, a small catfish filet and a little piece of another, 3 small hush puppies and a nice bowl of green beans....please see the picture. Very underwhelmed and would rather spend my money at AJs just up the street. Total bill with tip was over $220 at lunch and left hungry.

Our server was Kaitlyn, very professionl, answered all our questions, very pleasant, kept checking on us. Food was hot & very good, our experience was a great ending to a perfect Easter Sunday.

Shrimply the best meal I had on my trip to Pensacola! We had Kaitlyn as our server and she was so sweet and awesome! My dad was in the worst mood ever when we got there (for nothing shrimp basket related) and she was super kind and bubbly and got him back into a fun mood - handled it like a boss- and if I were her I would have spit in his drink. Went here for supper tonight. The food was good. Service not so much. Several employees on duty but nothing getting done. Party of 3, 2 got food while 3rd person waited. Ask 3 times for silverware, was told it was being washed. Why would you bring food and no silverware? Why was someone not in the back doing some dishes?? One girl walking around out front, looked like she was scared to death or something. Ask her for silverware, she went to kitchen and never came back to our table. Our server, Mercedes, was very friendly, but, service was lacking. She did eventually bring us silverware. Such a letdown from the experience I had in the past at the Shrimp Basket on 9 Mile Hwy.

We had such a great time with our friends. Waiter was friendly, professional and quick.

The server and manager were very nice. But the first thing I noticed walking in the door . I had a hard time walking to my table because the floor was so greasy! We sat down ordered a snow crab basket for 2 and waited and waited and waited about 45 minutes. So we left !! You could hear the young staff playing around with us fine if they are doing there job! Not sure what happened but they could have explained why it was taking so long not just let us sit there apologizing for the wait

Slow, slow + slow! We weren't the only ones complaining of the slow service. Got in at 5:30 and left at 7:38 Should have been an hour Max.

Decided to come here for my first time today, was craving some shrimp tacos. Very glad I picked this place. I had the boom boom tacos and they were sooo dam delicious! My server was amazing too, she was so nice to me and my kids. Atmosphere is a little dull but food & service is amazing!

Our group of 5 stopped in for a late lunch. The restaurant appeared clean and well maintained, and bathrooms were also clean. We were seated quickly, and the service was prompt and friendly. Food arrived in a timely manner and was hot, well cooked, and tasty. The only negative from the group was the coleslaw...too much mayo. Besides that, everyone enjoyed their meals. Would definitely go back again when in the area.

It's an older crowd... but it's nice, feels homey

So glad this place had a turn over the last group of waitresses was very lazy and did nothing but stand around on the cell phone while customers sat the entire meal with no refills and no reorders. The crew the have now is very respectful and treat you like family and will check on you over and over again.

This is my second time here since arriving 4 days ago and they don't disappoint. I had the seafood combo the first time and couldn't finish it all. It was very good! This time I went lighter and ordered the Gumbo and fried pickles. It's the second best gumbo I had since leaving New Awlins. And my server Jadericka...well she was very courteous and sweet. You should try out the Shrimp Basket. I will be back again at least one more time before heading back home in the Pacific.

The Navy Blvd location has become a regular "girls day out lunch" for my friend Stephanie and I. The manager Megan always takes great care of us and the food is always on point. Thank you Shrimp Basket Navy!

FOODS GREAT!!! SERVICE IS GREAT!!!

I feel as though this is a great place to eat, but they need to work on the food. I love the service and the hospitality, but the fried food is overly oily like it hasn't been rested for the oil to drip. The firecracker fries were literally amazing. The best thing on the menu that we've tried. This was only our second time and we decided to go with something not fried. We got the seafood boil and had high hopes. But the shrimp and crab were overcooked and the sausage was very skinny and tiny, but had okay flavor. The seafood boil sat in a deep pan of water that had not flavor. It tasted like they just boiled the crab in water and poured the boiling water in the serving tray. The garlic was overkill, but I could barely taste it because of how watered down the food was. Couldn't slide the meat out of the crab shell because it was so overcooked that it was stuck together. It was very much not satisfying and I took the rest of the shrimp, corn, and sausage home without the water and seasoned it. Much better but still overcooked and hard to peel.
