Food was not as good as I had expected& when we asked if they offered the chips & salsa prior to the entree the waitress said "if you want to pay extra"! So now we go to LA Barras on Navy Blvd. Their food was great & they automatically served the chips & salsa @no chg even without us requesting it

Only taco restaurant in this town that uses real meat everything else I've had tasted like alpo

First time there and it won't be the last. Service was excellent, the portions are generous. I love the little hole in the wall places. Taco House does not disappoint. Have pictures nowhere to post on review

If you are wondering where to eat, this is the place. Been in business since 1968. And for good reason. Nothing fancy, just good Mexican food, not TexMex.

Start by saying this was my 1st time coming to this restaurant after many months of my husband raving about it. Immediately walking in, it was extremely HOTTT! AC must be broken. It had to be 90 degrees, we were at our table sweating. We ordered the white queso.. they are out. Ordered a chicken quesadilla.. out of chicken. Ordered guacamole.. had not made any for the day. Asked for no tomatoes and sour cream.. it came on my plate anyways (after I told the waitress 3 times I didn't want it and she wrote it on the ticket). During our meal I guess another employee that had the day off came in to order food and her order was messed up. Lots of drama between her and the waitresses working and cuss words exchanged. And to top it off.. the power surged during our meal.. so that was an interesting event. My husband might be back.. I will never be back. It was a disaster!

Tacos tasted of old cooking oil. The ground beef was not seasoned. the worst Refried Beans I have ever had.

They have good lunch specials. They were out of shrimp but the steak quesadilla was good. Salsa was nice and seasoned with a bit of spice. Chip were okay - I prefer thinner chips

This is definitely a place to dine if you love fresh food. The tostadas, tacos, puff taco deluxe, and chili cheese fries are to die for! They make their own enchilada sauce that you will not find anywhere else. It is a locally owned and family ran restaurant that has been around since I was little. If you like fajita chicken with peppers and onions ask for the soft chicken tacos!!! AMAZING AND MADE TO ORDER! The chicken taco is the last picbwith the white cheese ontop.

Well I can't say enough about this place. I've been going to the Taco House 🌮 🏡 since I was just a little boy and as far as I know they were doing Puff Tacos before anyone else, you can't beat the puff tacos the best, largest and best priced💵💰💳 anywhere period. All their food is delicious Don't forget to check them out when you're in the Pensacola area they've been serving the Pensacola community since 1968 I believe and when you been a business that long you know what you're doing so don't miss out, stop by check them out also check us out @eternal escapades on YouTube. 🌮👍🏻💯

It was okay. It's a cheap little place. The food didn't have much seasoning; I wouldn't recommend it to others.

We went in to order to go. We had the combination dinner and a deluxe puff taco. The enchilada had onions in it it was delicious and the tamale was great too but the puff taco took the show for sure! Very good. And chips and salsa is .99!

Good was good. However, the tostada was very skimpy. Messed up our order. But was very nice about fixing it. They opened late! And the tables and chairs still had food on them from a previous time.

Very much true texmex food. Delicious filling, and simple. I've been eating here since I was a kid. Never gets old.

My son and I ate at the Taco House for the first time and it was so good he wanted to go back, the second time was definitely not the same experience but will give it another try one day. Glad y'all are still open after all these years.

This place is the best there red sauce is fire 🔥. We always get the tacos or tostadas and it's really good and the prices are really good. UPDATE The last time we went sadly the taco meat seemed to have changed and had a funky taste and wasn't even eddibe. I Hope they change back to their regular meat.

I’ve been sleeping on this place for years. Great prices, excellent food and staff. Not your typical mexican restaurant. Everything tastes homemade and $1 tacos hard to beat. That chili cheese dip is good af too. This place is totally craveworthy..I’ve driven from Perdido twice just to grab some tacos.

Quick and delicious. I went there on a taco Tuesday and ended up eating 8 tacos.

Service is great.......but this isn't Mexican food, just because it's beans rice and hard shell , can't just call it a taco.

We frequent this place on Saturdays often because of my need for ol school tacos 🌮 The kind mom made growing up that were so good. These folks have the shell toasting down to a science. As many people ordering the $1.00 tacos on Saturdays at noon, they have never faltered on the perfection of the toasting of the taco shell or the flavor of the whole taco put together. 😋 I LOVE these tacos as they bring me back to my youth when my mother would make them once a month. When we arrived at 12:15, there were two groups inside, one had ordered and the others were waiting. There were 4 men waiting for their meals that they called in. The young lady took my order as the owner prepared the call-in orders. After the now 6 call-in orders picked up their orders, of at least 3 trays each, our order soon arrived. We got the puffy taco 🌮 and 6 crunchy beef tacos 🌮 😋 and 8 to go, for home 🏡 That puffy taco was not what I'd expected. It was enormous and delicious 😋 😍 probably a 12 inch flour tortilla fried, then filled with a great amount of taco fixins, AMAZING PORTION, and delicious 😋 The six crunchy tacos were perfect as expected. Give this place a try. This lady and her crew work hard for us,,, I thank them for their effort and upholding their grandfather's dream of the taco 🌮 house 🏠 well done, ladies 🙏👏👏👏

My rating is based on one thing... Price! Service was fine and food tasted good. My issue is that I ordered a beef chimichanga there and a beef burrito to go. The only difference is that the chimichanga had a dollop of sour cream and for that I was charged $3 extra bucks 😕 So take my advice and just get the burrito, unless you really want to spend $3 for a spoon of sour cream 🤷🏼‍♀️ Also, I added extra cheese on top, just fyi.

Always great food and service! My parents brought me and my siblings here since we were little. Always fast, friendly and super reasonable prices. Get the puff taco.

The hot sauce and prices are amazing. You have to pay for chips and salsa and you don't get refills of the chips. Food was excellent, but options are limited.
