Sat in the bar. Had 3 meats. Smoked turkey, pulled pork and pilled chicken. All were fantastic. Had them with Texas toast and made myself my own sandwich. All of it was great. 1st time visit and between the great food , good pricing and amazing service. Will be back again.

I just had the pleasure of dining at Sonny’s Barbecue, and I can’t say enough good things! Drew, the manager on shift, and Jamie, the bartender, were absolutely phenomenal. They were prompt, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. I’ve been here many times, and I keep coming back for the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the outstanding staff. If you’re looking for great food and even better service, this is the place to be!

Drive through customer was rude as hell , and I don’t want that type of energy of my food go to 4 Rivers

What can i say ... Its fantastic service and great delicious ribs!

My family and I went to Sonny's BBQ on colonial today for the first time as the reviews were great for that location. We were so disappointed when we got our food. My husband ordered the 2 meat platter brisket and sausage to share with our 4 year old. He barely got enough meat to feed just the 4 year old. 3 small slices of brisket and maybe half a sausage. For $19.99. Like what??? Usually when we go to a bbq restaurant and get a two meat platter it can feed my husband and son with plenty left over! My daughter and I got the brisket grilled cheese. I immediately looked in the sandwich as it looked like there was no meat on it and there was maybe one small slice of brisket chopped in it. I immediately sent it back and told the waitress it needs more brisket. She did so promptly. We saw the manager walk by and all she could say was they measure it by weight and place on the plate. She did see the amount of food on the plate and didn’t really say anything. And that she would check with the back to see what was going on. Never saw her again and paid $50 for hardly any food. We will never go back. We live in the west side of town and unfortunately cannot find a lot of bbq places on this side of town. In hindsight, I should have taken a pic of the food. We did see another table get served and they had quite a bit more meat on there plates. 😒😒

Jamie was incredible. I went today for the first time. Jamie recommended we start with the egg rolls and omg. We got 2 orders to go 10/10. Jamie made our first experience at Sonny’s barbecue a phenomenal one:) we will 100% be coming back!

Was craving a burger, I know why go to a BBQ place for a burger. Honestly it was a better 🍔 than most everywhere else in Ocoee. Got it to go so, a bit overcooked but the flavor made up for it.

Came in Sonny's again and saw Lora Lee who was my server before so i got her again. She's so friendly and gives the best service! She even remembered I liked the okra well done from last time

Always a great lunch esp when your server Lora Lee on top of refills and requested extras. the friendliest fastest lunch ever, I'll be back! Tysm

This is a newer Sonny's, but the food is the same.. delicious! I belong to their club, so I was redeeming a coupon I receive yearly around my birth day. I had a 'Big Deal', which includes a sandwich, side and drink. I had the best pulled pork sandwich on a bun (you can also choose garlic bread, which is also yummy!). My side was crinkle fries, but I love their green beans, too. My very giant drink was also refillable. My daughter went with me. She enjoyed the bbq ribs. She got 5 large ribs, a side, and a drink. She loved her ribs! We shared an appetizer of fried okra and ranch dip. Their okra is always the best!! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The place (including bathrooms) is very clean. In true bbq style, you feel comfortable eating there with music playing and tvs hanging in several directions, so no matter where you sit, you can see one. They offer take out and drive-through, and to make it easier, you can pre-order online and through their new Sonny's app. If you're in the area and hankering for some good bbq, you should definitely check this Sonny's out!!

Jamie is an outstanding server! He is always on top of his tables and ensured all guests enjoyed a great meal with superior service! I look forward to coming back and seeing Jamie again! The ribs were also fresh and the tea great!

Our experience this dine in time was not good at all. We watched 2 sets of people that cane in after we was sat, get set, served and finished before our food came out. When it did come out 3 of the 4 came out with beans that finally came when the rest of the plate was finished and my plate which was a smoking ceaser came out completely swimming in dressing with extremely wilted lettuce. It was my adult sons birthday dinner... bummer

The food was delicious. I've tried some other BBQ places that had not flavor but, that's not the case here. The Mac n Cheese and green beens were awesome. The meat was nice, and I was given plenty of sauce to my content. I will be going back for more

He was so informative and when we went to order the 2 meat combo he informed us for just a few dollars more they have a secret menu item which is the all you can eat (chicken, turkey or pulled pork) it also includes two sides and A DRINK! The food is consistently good. The take-out system is poor. I ordered online. My husband arrive at the appointed time and gave his name. It took 40 minutes and a lot of frustration to pick up the order.

The food was decent it was a little greasy. The rib meat was hard. The service and the atmosphere are very comfortable. They need to do a better job at cleaning the tables after people leave.

This is now the second time that I have gone to this Sonny's and it is quite sad being that I have been to several from Davenport Florida to Mount Dora. This particular location is still struggling the portion size of food compared to the others and quality appearance of the food. For whatever reason today we had 6 adults and 2 little babies and it took Sonnys 40 minutes for them to just figure out if we were going to get a seat. When we got to our seats it took another 20 or more min before our server took drink orders then almost 40 minutes to get our food. Don't get me wrong Valerie was our server and she was awesome, but the lack of being proactive by other staff members and at least updating us why we couldn't get tables more speedily. Was unacceptable. At least tell us plainly that they couldn't accommodate us at all and we could have gone somewhere else. Needless to say we were there for roughly over 2 hours through this whole ordeal to simply order a normal meal. Again Sonny's is usually a good place but as far as this location they need to get better training and the cook needs to be in line with the other Sunny's as far as the serving size of their dinners. At this rate I will not be returning or any of my family members and I will not suggest anyone go to this location. Mount Dora location so much better and serving sizes are the standard usual size of the one in Davenport Florida and other surrounding areas.

Went through drive thru less than an hour ago. After waiting almost 20 min, I received and checked my order. The sweet potato was hard and dried up. I asked for another one. This one...if I showed the picture, they should be fined for serving food on this condition. It was so burnt and black, it looked like charcoal. Unbelieveable someone gave this food out. I also received very small # of meat items. Feedback to Sonny's if you run out of, and dont have safe, hot, and healthy food to give your customers, just say we are out of that at this time.

Dried out no flavor. I had brisket and chicken. They were both dried out. The homestyle mac & cheese is instant mac & cheese. This is the worst BBQ I had in Orlando. The brisket had been pre-sliced like it had been sitting in a pan same thing for the chicken.. overpriced and poor quality.

TERRIBLE SONNYS!!! I love sonny’s more than the next guy but this one is horrible! Waitress was awful and they were out of ribs the only thing we wanted. YES. RIBS..

Love this restaurant, the food, & the atmosphere. They even had two channels of girls softball playing on the big TVs. Sever Jamie was awesome sauce; professional, kind, and knowledgeable of the items on the menu. The fried okra is the bomb.

I haven’t been to Sonny’s in a while but one opened by house so I had to go. The restaurant was clean, I was quickly seated and truly enjoyed my meal. I appreciated the Monday special, it made me fully satisfied. Our server Jamie was welcoming and fun to talk to!

Everything was very good. Love the bread. Sad that Sonny's got rid of their salad bar 🙁. Cuban was good. Fries were cold but they did bring us more hot fries.

We decided to give this place a try so we ordered some take-out. We got smokehouse wings which were flipping AH-MAZING as well as the loaded tots. Highly recommend the wings!!!! The only downside was the burnt to a crisp burger patty. I do not recommend the burger, even tho it is a BBQ joint the burger pic looked delicious so we went with it. We learned the hard way so you don't have too...

Tomorrow is my husband's birthday, so we decided to come to Sonny's in Ocoee to start celebrating early. It was absolutely the right choice because first and foremost, Jamie. Jamie was our server and he was so kind, helpful, and he recommended the candied bacon chicken sandwich to me, which I ended up ordering (and loving)!. My husband's rack of ribs were exactly what he needed after the tiring day at work he had had. Thank you Jamie for your fantastic service, and thank you Sonny's for your great food. We're definitely coming back!

Jamie at Sonny’s on West Colonial in Ocoee is the best! He gave us a lemonade to go without asking :) so sweet. Meal is good and tasty~ sweet potato served with cinnamon butter ~ it was like dessert! Would eat here for Thanksgiving if we could!

Great starter bbq place. Not the best in town but super consistent and about half the price of the other ones. If you’re used to chilis ribs, this place will blow you away
