Service is wonderful. The only thing that I have a problem with is I have to dress like it's 12 degrees outside. Due to it being cold in the building the food is cold within minutes of being served. Other than that I'd recommend eating here.

A lot of small places do not have eggs Benedict, but Sparks does a good one, with prompt, friendly service.

It is a very good place, the food there is very delectable and tasty. Atmosphere is your average breakfast-serving restaurant. We went last Friday.

I’ve been a customer of Sparks for 25yrs and it has declined immensely w the new ownership. The owner is unwelcoming and rude. The food has taken a dive as well. Very greasy 🤢 I’ll be looking for a new breakfast stop.

Although I sat at the main counter, it seemed like I was invisible to the staff after my initial greeting. I had to ask a passing server to take my order, which she did. After that however, my order of Sara Lee pound cake french toast, eggs over easy, sausage patties, and hashbrowns came quickly, directly from the chef off of the grill. All were prepared very well, and everything was quite tasty. Although their large all-day breakfast menu is very appealing, I will definitely return to try their lunch menu, or one of their daily specials like Taco Salad today.

I’ve been to Sparks before and it was good, but this time was horrible. The hashbrowns were hard as bricks and looked like they had been made days ago and barely warmed up before we ate. They were cold, dried out, and hard. It’s not that hard to make fresh hashbrowns. The service was still good.

Great burgers & fries and reasonable prices.

Went here for breakfast the other weekend, was not disappointed. Had my favorite breakfast, biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. Bacon was perfectly cooked and I should have ordered bigger than the small biscuits and gravy. Will eat there again. Fairly new to the town and slowly trying nearby food

Sparks is a really good place to go. The employees there are outstanding and amazing. The chocolate ecliar pie was outstanding.

Cute little “hole in the wall” I’m from out of state just passing through. And was looking for breakfast and coffee. Both were amazing. And the pricing is fair. Has a 50s atmosphere with 80s music which I love! Only thing I’d change is the server being more attentive. She was a little busy but not to busy were the other server and the bus boy refilled my coffee each time. I really hope she shares the tip. Overall fantastic and if I ever find myself here again I’ll definitely be back!

The daily specials are good, and the seniors menu is also good. Breakfast has always been good. Service is very good too.

Sparks Grill is my favorite breakfast and lunch restaurant in all of Marquette County, WI. Once again I had a wonderful brunch at Sparks, but this time I’m going to tell you about it. I am a fanatic about corned beef hash. Not the greasy stuff out of the Hormel can, I’m talking about the real deal, HOMEMADE corned beef hash. Its meaty, it has just the right amount of hash browns and onions in it and its fried up to perfection. ((Hint: sit at the counter and you can watch your breakfast or lunch being made!)) The owner is a young gentleman who runs an excellent restaurant, the service is great and was provided by a cheerful waitress and your order comes out quickly. What more could you ask for? Do yourself a favor, go to Sparks Grill and try the corned beef hash! You’ll be glad you did….

Nice place for good food. I ordered sausage gravey and biscuits, very good. Homemade. First time here I was glad I stopped in. Waitress was friendly, the workers all greeted everyone as they come in. Lots of selections and priced affordable. Nice size portions. Clean restaurant. They cook behind the counter so you can watch. Tables, booths and counter stools, so yes plenty of seating. Stop in and check em out

Food, service, and atmosphere was great. Being served Texas toast was a bonus. Will definitely return. Very busy restaurant so you know it's fantastic. Nice big parking lot.

Really fast service for as crowded as the place was. "Sparks Omelette" is advertised as HOT AND SPICY!! and they are not kidding! Along with the "Slap Ya Mama" seasoning, this was a great breakfast.

Found this place while camping and OMG it rocks! For a small town cafe the food was great and WOW did it come fast. I don't think it was even five minutes and we were already eating. 🤯 Definitely will be back!

Parking lot was almost full. There was still a lot of seating available. We were served drinks immediately. Our order was placed right away. Food served only a few minutes after ordered .Food was very good. Service very good. Everyone was very attentive to our needs.

Sparks does not disappoint! Stopped in here while on a vacation in the area and we stopped in for breakfast. The service was amazing, the food was amazing. I even met the owner Jacob who is an awesome dude. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

I come here after worship at church pretty regularly. This place always treats me like family, and offers very good food and friendly conversations. I appreciate the high quality food and friendly servers here, and love coming here on Sundays.

Sparks was the first place We ate when we moved to Montello. It was really bad, all frozen fried and not good. We never went back, but we did go across the street to Hillside and still do. I upped my review due to the many great reviews, from people who do many reviews. I hope it has changed, but I use my Debit Card.

Was overall really impressed with mostly everything! The place is fairly small and cramped and can be hectic but the service was phenomenal. We had a larger group of people who ordered a lot and the waitress was nothing but nice to us and provided amazing service. The biscuits and gravy and white toast were surprisingly my favorite items. Make sure to bring cash because they're cash only (didn't see the one small sign on the door before going in), but they do have an ATM. I would love to give them 5 stars but I was disappointed with my country fried steak and my friend was pretty disappointed with their ribeye. Both tasted "off" and had a sort of weird oily taste? It was hard to describe, but neither of us were able to finish our steaks because of the weird flavor. Everything else was great and I'd love to stop by again to try more off the menu.

Been enjoying breakfast here for many years, it is a tradition for the fam now! Great service! My husband love the pancakes here with strawberries on top and whipped cream but for me I think they are very dry good flavor but not my favorite

The food was served very quickly and our waitress was nice and attentive. It is a cash only restaurant, but they have an ATM inside.

Have come here many times, usually service is top notch, today very very disappointed! We ordered pancakes and they literally crumbled! Couldn’t even keep them on the fork, waitress never came during the whole meal so when we were finished and got the bill I asked if the pancakes could be taken off. The guy at the register told me we were offered replacement and refused and that the batter is the same that is being used for all of them, remind you we were asked AFTER everyone was done eating! As I was walking away the guy was shaking his head. Real mature real professional

We found this place two years ago while visiting Montello. The service is FAST!! Friendly staff, great good, awesome portions and reasonably priced. We will always come here when in town!

I ordered $60 worth of food and was not disappointed whatsoever. What I recommend this place to anybody absolutely everyone should stop in. They've got like old school diner setting and you can watch the cooks in action while they prepare your food. The staff is amazing and the food is even better. This is a must to stop at if you're in the state of Wisconsin you have to stop here.

Great place to start the day with breakfast. The food was fantastic along with the fastest / friendliest service. Great hashbrowns! This place is like the old time diner. You feel like you're home with friends. All the staff were super friendly!

Food is always awesome. We never have had a bad meal here. Prices are very reasonable, and the amount of food you receive..... if you go away hungry that's your fault. Very large portions.

Awesome food and good price for your birthday party on the way home from work with the new one in the area and the new one is on the way to go back and see what happens when you get to the dock for your first time. If you want to go to the store on your own time you can get here and then we can get it done right away so we can go over everything on the way to the public and get a hold of you and get a good price on the way home from the beach with your family and friends. You were going to 8th Ave in the area

Great food, exceptional service, nice atmosphere, fair prices.

Food was wonderful and reasonably priced. Had the corned beef and cabbage soup which was a meal in itself! Lots of tender corn beef, cabbage and carrots. Also had a grilled ham and cheese with a very generous amount of ham. Mom had the liver and onions which was tender and good. Homemade gravy and mashed potatoes too. Heads up it's cash and checks only. There is an ATM machine available.

As always great food great service in and out would recommend to anybody that drives through the montello area to stop at Sparks for breakfast or lunch very family friendly

Food was good and it came very fast. It was more expensive than we expected for breakfast. Also, there were no gluten free food options. Half of our family has celiac disease. Though it was good because of the lack of GF options we won't return. Just an FYI they only take cash but they do have an ATM on site.

Staff was very friendly and personable. Menue was very broad with lots of good choices.Food was quick and gooood. Prices were moderate to low. Overall, very satisfied and will be returning in future. Can honestly say... A good place to "catch a bite" .

From the outside, place looked very busy, once inside, they still were busy. Had a good breakfast served in record time! Delicious! They truly operate like a well oiled machine.. We were very impressed, will definitely return.

Classic small town diner experience. Broasted Chicken is outstanding! Grilled chicken sandwich on rye also super. Friendly staff and clean dining room. Don't miss the pound cake French toast!

Quick service, large portions sizes, and good prices. Place was packed, but we were able to get in and out way faster than we expected. Will definitely go back for their all day breakfast.

Went there with family. There was seven of us. We were seated right away and given menu's. Asked if we wanted anything to drink right away. Asked if we needed a few minutes and we did. Placed our order. Waitress came back check if we need more coffee or anything. Food came out 15 to 20 minutes later. It was very fast and very good. Several others came to check on us asking how everything is and if we needed anything. Best service I and our family have ever received. Will definitely be going back.

The food here is great I would totally recommend. But if you don't like homemade corned beef hash I'd consider not ordering it because it tastes nothing like the canned version but its still very tasty.

Me and my fiancé went here on a Sunday for lunch, around 1pm, and it wasn't too busy. He got the most delicious burger I've ever tasted. It was a double Sparks Burger, with added bacon, mushrooms, and coleslaw on top. We also got a slice of the chocolate eclair pie. Cannot recommend both of those enough!
