This is my favorite sub shop in SWFL. Friendly folks, great food. Their subs are always loaded and great quality. I would recommend to always call ahead if you plan to order a hot sub!

I walked in there and an aroma hit me as soon as I had walked in. It was so bad I almost didn’t pick up my order. I got my food and the aroma stuck onto the food, mostly the napkins out of the whole bag. After trying to eat past the smell, we realized the food tasted like how it smelled, bad.

Came in on vacation and that afternoon got some subs. Husband and I were talking about them all week and made sure to get them before we left to go back home. Don't walk run and getchu some!

Best subs around. They still make them like they did years ago. All subs have SO Much meat on them. They haven't changed the quality or size of the subs and meats are sliced as each sub is being made along with fresh bread rolls

Amazing, fresh, delicious over sized subs. I had the meatball with provolone. A small had 3 giant meatballs and gooey provolone and the bread was best I've had since I moved down from NY/NJ

I used to go to Stan’s when Harry owned it and it was in Asbury Park NJ. After all of these years it tastes just like it did when I was a kid. I can’t say that about many places. It was worth the drive down from Tampa!

Just okay. Service is slow even when not busy, employees would rather be smoking than making your food. Sub wasn't filled to the ends which was really weird. I'm talking a good 4 inches in total of just empty bread, counting 2 inches empty on both ends. However, bread was nice and soft, meat is a good amount, but rest of the sub was okay at best. Not well seasoned. Taste was unremarkable. I'd be willing to give it another shot in the future, and edit my review then. Maybe it was just an off day for them.

They don’t allow people to share subs! They require you to get the exact same toppings or they call it “ two different subs “ and they’ll make you pay separate! Go to Publix or subway! The guy was really rude too answering the phones…

My husband got 2 subs and enjoyed them both. I don't eat subs. Too much bread.

I love finding small mom and pop shops wherever I go. I was extremely surprised by my roast beef sub! Bread is delicious and the quantity of meat is crazy! Way too much to eat in one sitting. Highly recommend

BIGGEST SUB EVER!! i got a six inch and couldn’t finish it, it was soooo good. they put a large amount of meat on the sub. worth every penny. definitely recommend the turkey.

Rude workers, also I don’t know what place it takes half an hour to cook chicken and sausage unless yall are killing the animal’s in the back. Next time someone asks if they can have peppers & onions on their sub don’t say “no, don’t fit” maybe just put em on. You’re making subs not rockets

I grew up eating at stans starting in the 70's since Stan passed he daughter took over and it was still great but I went the other day and had the big mama you can tell thame e quality of the meat is not the same and the people working there didn't seem like they wanted to ingage in conversation and not because they was to busy only 2 out of the 4 working ATM. Definitely not the same as I remember oh well

Amazingly good sandwiches from these guys. There is no comparison between this place and all the mediocre sub sandwich chains out there. Great food and excellent value.

My boyfriend tells me this place was the best subs around! We tried them about a month ago and the cold subs we got were delicious. Fresh meat and ingredients. I give a four stars for the bread. It was just okay. It sort of made the sandwich less amazing. I didn’t finish mine.

They were very rude on the phone when I tried to order I had to call back twice to continue my order they hung up on me twice

Sadly cannot recommend First they’re slow. Really slow. Took 29 minutes from order to food. And in that timeframe they delivered food to only 3 other people. So it’s not like it was crowded. And they had 5 employees in the store. Course only one guy in the back seem to working. The rest were wandering about, sitting, smoking. The food itself (cheesesteak) was rather large and the meat was good quality BUT it had an odd taste. My guess was over peppered. Lots of pepper. All in all: Nope.

My family, and I took a mini vacation back to Bonita Springs where we once called our home. We traveled from Nashville Tn to Bonita, just to see how much things had changed since our 20 yrs away. We found that alot had changed, but a few things remained exactly the same as we had remembered. One of those things that hadn't changed was Stan's Sub Shop! We loved it then, and we fell in love with it all over again on our trip. From the staff to the owner, everyone was very friendly, and they stopped to take time to talk to us while we were there. Thanks guys for making our trip a vacation to remember. Just for the record, the food is still great, and "Y'all" are still killing it!.

My Dad worked for the phone company in Bonita in the 80’s-90’s and he would get us Stan’s subs on fridays. I always got the meatball - I’ve never had a sub that has compared to a Stans sub. My Dad has since passed & he would be SO thrilled y’all are still open. I need to make the trip & get one soon in his honor.

Good sub sandwich place in the heart of Bonita Springs on Olde 41. They really pile on the meats for their sandwich, and use a decent bread, which is crucial in a good sub sandwich. Definitely a good value, although they close promptly at 7:00 PM

Best local sub shop around. The subs are massive, you can certainly split a whole sub between 2 people and be stuffed. Call ahead for pick up, so worth it!

This place is so good! Actually haven't been there in 25 years as we moved back to NC. The wife and I got lunch there every day back in the early to mid 80's! We both worked at South Florida Cable next door. We're heading down to Cape Coral next week and Stan's will be on the to do list ❤️😋

Not as good as it once was. Better meat and sub at Jersey Mike's. Lunch meat cut too thick, lacking on toppings, over 9 bucks for a 6 inch sub. Friendly workers only reason it got 3 stars.

Ordered an Italian and meatball sub...WOW! The subs were of upmost quality and the ingredients are super fresh. They had a large variety of subs to chose from. The prices were great! The staff was very nice and attentive. We were in town visiting from New York was looking for a quick sandwich after the beach, saw this place on the way back, the reviews were great so we decided to drop in. Absolutely delicious!! As a few reviews have stated, this place outdoes others. You can’t find the quality this place offers at a subway, etc. Not to mention you really get a bang for your buck...this was the largest sub I’ve ever seen. Will be recommending this place to my family & friends when they come down.

Why people waste their hard earned money on chains like Subway or Jimmy John's is beyond me, especially when they have an amazing "Mom & Pop" place like Stan's Super Subs in the area. I finally tried Stan's after a number of recommendations, and I wasn't disappointed. I'll be back!! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!

I would give 6 stars! This place makes the best subs. They pile the meat on your sub! You have to give them a try. No seating. I recommend ordering ahead as they can get busy at lunch time.

Our family was served a super amazing submarine lunch today by Stan's Super Subs! The subs are packed full of fresh good quality ingredients and are huge! We also tried out the gooey goodies and sure wasn't disappointed there either! Yum! The owner and staff were so friendly! It really felt like walking into your neighborhood sub shop and feeling welcomed to be there. Service was prompt and our food came quicker than expected! New Ownership as mentioned in other reviews. Just had their Reuben for lunch today. Fantastic, lots of thinly sliced corn beef, fresh marble rye bread, fresh sauerkraut. One of best Reuben's we have had...support this local business.

The sandwiches are good and prices are reasonable. There is almost to much meat in the sandwiches. My only complaint is the service is slow, I have been there twise and it tok a half hour to get my sandwich. I would suggest you call in your order,

Just had an American specialty sandwich and besides perfect I only have a few observations. 1. Very good fresh roll. 2.enough of all three meats to feed any hungry person. 3.good veggie to meat ratio and perfect amount of mayo, seasoning and jalapeños. I know I will be back for great service and food.
