Great local bar by the train. Easy stopoff on the way home, great food, great bartenders, lively atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit. Waiting for them to bring back their Bacon In A Glass appetizer!

Came here on a weekday evening, I will say if you're here for the bar this would be a decent experience, but if you're coming here for food be prepared for subpar service. There are no servers and the bartenders fill that role, but there were only two and as bartenders usually do, they talk with the people at the bar. We ordered food and drinks, and didn't get our drinks until another server came and tried to take our order again. Food was decent if not a bit pricy.

Went here for a cocktail and music at 9PM on a Saturday night. The crowd was dead upon arrival and I hate to say it but establishments with mostly black crowds always have so many rules. They wouldn't allow anyone to sit unless they paid for bottle service. Mind you the place was dead for another 1.5 hours after the initial inquiry about chairs and sitting. Ridiculous. To add insult to injury, they have the nerve to have this rule and the place is not that great looking decor/ambiance wise and the bathroom didn't even have any soap in it. Like baby what are you doing? Hated it. Do better. Will never return.

The black bean burger is fine, don’t think I’d get it again. Friends had the tomato appetizer which they said was great.

Rude. Terrible customer service. I had booked a table for dinner for a party almost a week in advance and on the day I called they just said the person not available and hung up.

We went to this restaurant upon arriving from the Metra. My wife and I loved the food (roasted chicken sandwich and artichoke toast). We went in the early afternoon so not busy at all if you're really hungry and don't want to wait. The server was great - made good recommendations and checked in on us just the right amount. Atmosphere is dim and relaxing. We'd go again.

Nice place inside of Ogilvie train station for a quick cocktail and bite. They also have a nice early happy hour that starts at 3 pm. I will be back

Poor service. Actually no service after my order was placed. Needed to call across the bar for the check. If you’re not a regular, find someplace else to kill time.

This place is great. It’s a Saturday night and hardly anyone here. There is minimal signage on the street side. Would have walked right by. Management needs to get its act together. Very good food, service and ambiance.

Overpriced swill, terrible service, served with a side of their hateful "woke" politics. Just a gimmick to attract idiotic hipsters who thinks it's cool to hate. Never again.

This restaurant has a great outdoor patio and the food was amazing! We loved the flatbread appetizer and then had the chicken sandwich with aged beer cheese. So good!

Very beautiful and upscale place. We had a good amount of luggage with us, but they allowed us to bring it in by our table. Our server, Autumn, was very friendly and professional, and quick with service despite being the only front of house worker as far as we could tell. She made us our tropical storm right away as we waited for our pork rinds and quarter chicken. The rinds were warm and crisp with an amazing flavor and just the right amount of spice. The chicken dish came out when we were half finished and looked and smelled amazing. You could tell them chicken, cabbage and potatoes were all very fresh and cooked to perfection. We got a peach honey sangria to finish off with the meal and absolutely loved it as well. Everything was perfect and worth every penny.

My coworker and I have been coming here for refreshments regularly in recent weeks. Autumn, the best bartender in the Loop, is always here to greet us with Prosecco and a smile that shines right through her mask. Great ambiance and convenient location.

Came in here a few days ago and had such a wonderful time. The space was clean and such a nice atmosphere! My favorite part I would have to say was the bartender, I believe her name to be Autumn. She was attentive, kind and made my time more enjoyable even though I was only in for a quick couple of drinks!

Awesome spot that gave me a great time during a pandemic, and it never once felt unsafe. Jackson was a delight, and I’d absolutely go back again just to see him!

Great atmosphere, good food, and decent selection of craft beers are all hallmarks of this establishment. The staff is extremely friendly and the prices are reasonable for a restaurant located just outside the loop. Five stars because I couldn't add more.

I happened to stop in today as I was very early for my train. I asked for a skinny margarita and Jillian, the bartender, said I should consider the Mamacita Margarita, as it was an even healthier choice. OH MY GOODNESS, I just found my favorite Rita!! This is it below. The jalapeño mixed with the pepper gives it the perfect kick! I can’t wait to bring my husband back to try. I hope to be too early for my train many times :) Thank you Jillian! CCVI was throwing a fundraiser with Bier Station and the place was packed! Wow, nice folks and all kinds of beers. Nice place to hang out and has a covered deck for outdoor seating. Very nice character.

Debo decir que han aprovechado al máximo una parte pequeña / mediana del estacionamiento en una plataforma de madera con cenador aéreo, etc. Gran ambiente del lugar por dentro y por fuera. El personal fue amable y atento. Muy buena selección local de cerveza de barril y sorprendente selección de cerveza embotellada en la pared de refrigeradores. La ubicación de la calle es excelente y más tranquila que a lo largo de Brookside, Ward o Wornall. Bier station is always a great place to try new beer. The food here is excellent as well. You can get a full pour or a sample size. Create your own flight from sample pours, prices vary by beer

I was looking for a place with a good selection of tap beer. This place was recommended and my friends and I took a mini trip for some shopping and decided to stop here to try the beer. It was a delightful experience and I was impressed with the great selection of beers

We planned on this visit because we knew we were going to be in the area. There were many beer options to choose from. We sat outside on the covered patio and for a hot and muggy day it was nice to have fans on. A flight is 4 beers and you pay the per price for 2 ounce beer ($1.75 to like $4.00-if I remember correctly) We ordered food: a Caesar salad, a Cuban sandwich and disco fries. The food was good, no complaints. We were surprised that they also offered beer in coolers for additional purchase. We didn't check to see if the same beers on tap were the same beers you could buy in their store. I have found that the Waldo area where the Bier Station is found is a nice quaint town with much to offer. We enjoyed our visit and will go back.

I had dinner with a friend on a night when Bier Station was donating all the proceeds from sales of select beers to the local Community Gardens. It was a clear, sunny day and the inside was crowded and noisy so we ate outside on the patio; there's also an upstairs deck. I noticed immediately how many people brought their dogs. There were water bowls around and the staff cheerfully refilled people's water glasses so they could pour it in the bowls for the dogs. There's a huge selection of beer, including cases where you can browse and choose your favorite. The food menu goes beyond typical pub food- we had a hummus appetizer and I had the Westmoreland sandwich, which was vegetarian and made with more hummus and lots of fresh vegetables, and a broccoli salad. My friend had the Reuben with fries. All good and we had an enjoyable evening!

Bier Station is a great place to come to for Beer Sampling. They always have many unique beers to try. You can order the traditional pint or get a flight. Prices are pretty average, they do have happy hour and certain specials. Just overall a good place to grab a quick beer. They also have a wide variety of beer to go in the coolers. They do have food, I ordered wings and they were just Ok. There is a lot of outdoor space here and patio seating. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Love this place! Crazy array of beers...you won't be disappointed and the staff can help you find the perfect beer of your liking. The food menu changes often; so I am sad seeing my favorites go, but they then offer new choices that always end up tasting great. Guess they like to keep me on my toes, but every menu item is delish, noticeably fresh and made in house. This place is so calm, cool and doesn't stress me out. The staff is friendly...people come here for great beer, great food and for a relaxed scene.

The variety was nice for bottled and the draft options were great. I had the Cubano sandwich and a Kona stout, very tasty. The crowd was hipsters and the Ruckus scooter crowd was out on a Sunday afternoon.

I love that every time I go here, I walk out with great recommendations. The staff is very knowledgeable and will help you pick beer based on your likes. I was just picking up some beer to go, but a few brews on their tapped list looked good. When I asked about them, the gal behind the bar poured me a couple samples without having to ask. Very fun place with a nice deck and lots of special events/tap takeovers. Haven't had any food yet so can't review that aspect. I'll keep returning! ☺

Staff is super friendly and remembered what I had ordered before. Color me impressed. I also really liked that you can get a 4 oz or a larger pour. Nice way to check out a variety of beers. I've seen that they will be expanding their food menu soon which is awesome! I'll be back here many more times in the future.
