Pizza is dry and bland. Not much to it. Honestly is the quality of little Caesars pizza. Prices are pretty steep for a 14 inch and cheese bread, it was 33 bucks. Not much flavor to it and over cooked. Pizza is thin and tough and didn't even get the thin crust. We'll probably skip this spot. We wanted to try it for the first time but definitely disappointed.

I've been ordering from here for almost 2 years and it's ALWAYS ON POINT. So fast, so delicious, and always consistent. ❤️🫶

first timers here we wanted to try something new something different annnnnnnnnnnnd it didn't disappoint I custom ordered my calzone sooooooo many topping to choose from it hit the spot. my husband got the carnivore calzone he loved it he said the chile was perfect. my son had a whole 18" cheese pizza all to himself I snuck a bite it was perfectly made cheesy light sauce and the flavor just sung. we were very satisfied with our service and food. we will be back thank you for your business

It's the best calzone I've ever had! We ordered the Chupacabra calzone, and it was beyond delicious! I wish I could have another right now. The spicy marinara was awesome, the pepperoni and margherita pizzas were great, and the chocolate chip cannoli's were divine. If we lived in New Mexico, I would order from here all the time! The photos just don't do it justice; this place is great.

Not bad but not great. The sauce was interesting. I think there was a lot of oregano in it. But it was interesting. Def a clutch pizza spot.

The owner of this business makes okay pizza. But only has 198 reviews and may wonder why. Charging $7 in a delivery fee on a $14 dollar cheese only pizza, migggghhtttt be why. I would be surprised this place will exist in a few years when you have options at half the price within blocks. It costs $30 for a medium pepperoni pizza to be delivered

What a lovely night this turned out to be. Sitting at home on a cold, cozy night. I decided to order some takeout. I have never had straight up, and now I will never want another pizza again. This was the most delicious Margherita Pizza, Chicken Wings, Salad, and Chocolate Cannoli I have ever had!!!! My only regret is that I only bought one Cannoli. I'm so sorry to keep going on and on but my goodness that was the most delicious cannoli! 😋🤤

Locally owned and food made with fresh, flavorful ingredients. It is definitely a unique style of pizza but it is truly the best pizza in town. We have been coming here for a couple of years now and have never been let down. We usually get the spicy marinara with either pepperoni or sausage and fresh basil. The chupacabra is also a good choice. Also, we always get an order of chipotle wings-the wings are high quality and delicious. The awesome service is just the cherry on top. I hope this place is always around! Update: We’ve been customers for years and this place is still amazing. Just had another delicious experience. If you’re thinking about ordering from here definitely do it!

Good pizza ! Chupacabra Pizza was spicy and yet good! A good balance of spices and flavors ! Prices are a bit pricey only down side but great pizza will be back!

Finally! A Good New York(ish) style pizza place in ABQ! When trying a pizza place for the first time, I like to either get a cheese or pepperoni pizza to see if they can get the basics right. From their online ordering platform, I could get half cheese half pepperoni quite easily. They charge half price for half-toppings, so that was quite nice. Now, the pizza. What makes Straight Up Pizza stand out from the pack in NM is that they actually put some Italian herbs and a bit of garlic on the pizza! That, and there was no shortage of fresh cheese on it. As a result, it was flavorful and delicious! I could even smell the pizza on my fingers after eating it! You will get a chewier crust here, which is fine. However, there was a bit of a gum line on the pizza, and it was a TAD greasy. Needless to say, they mostly nailed the basics! I straight up enjoyed the pizza. 8.5/10. I will likely be back!

We heard about this place online and came for the spicy marinara. We had to wait about 15 minutes over what was estimated to get our order but it was obvious they were busy that night. Unfortunately when we got home we realized the pizza wasn’t the one we ordered. We immediately called and let them know. They not only said they would make the correct pizza for us but would deliver it too, but for no charge. We tried to give a tip but they insisted on not accepting one. Still wish they would have taken a tip the gesture of going the extra step of delivery was very nice. We were so impressed with the customer service as well as the quality of the food. The food is really really good! We have gone back twice since this first experience and it’s been less than 4 weeks. They will continue to get our business and I encourage others looking for high quality pizza to order from Straight up pizza. If you want high quality food and to support a local business go here!

This place is take out only. It's so worth it. This is my favorite pizza to get. I love the garlic knots and the spicy marinara. It's SPICY so be careful (I mean extremely spicy as a born and raised New Mexican). This is my favorite pizza as it's full of flavor. I highly recommend trying this place! It's going to be your new pizza spot.

Best pizza in Albuquerque by a mile... not "gourmet pizza", but its the best quality ingredients around

Straight up pizza was delicious. So, straight up pizza is takeout or delivery only. I didn't know that in advance, so I showed up in front of the restaurant trying to get in and get a table. It took a few minutes for my wife and I to realize what the situation was and to decide to just order out on the spot. As a result, we ended up standing around in front of the restaurant for a while which, I think, made the people inside a little bit nervous. So, don't do that. We read the menu posted in the window and made some on-the-spot decisions. We rang them up on our cell phones and were able to place the order with no trouble. The folks were very nice and extremely helpful. Ordering was a great experience. It was super easy and the people at straight up pizza where helpful, polite, and expedient. At least once, somebody came to pick up a pizza while we were still trying to decide what to order. Every time they opened the pick-up window, an amazing savory delightful aroma came floating out of the restaurant. It was awesome. It was done in short order and they brought it out to our car, which was very nice of them. We had buffalo chicken wings, a 14-inch carnivore Pizza, and a couple of cannolis. Everybody was a treat. Take a look at the photos I posted. The pizza was cooked perfectly, the chicken wings were crispy and seasoned just right, and the cannolis were creamy and crunchy, just as they should be. The food was just great. Five stars to straight up pizza, I'll definitely be back.

First time trying this after debating for a few months, with the COVID situation, I dont like to roll the dice on my comfort food. Glad I did! Did pick up, wanted to do delivery but I live to far. The crust was so good and chewy (the good chewy). The cheese sticks were yummy and the marinara was delicious!!! Decided to go all out and got the canolies.... best I've ever had! They were fresh, crunchy crust with soft middle. Glad we tried this place!! The staff is so friendly too, theyre on it for pick up, and when I called asking about delivery, the employee was super patient and friendly. Will order again!

I was gonna go to one of my Abq favs, when I decided to branch out. And thankfully I found this little dive spot! This is a extremely delicious and awesome family style business support local buy eating this food the pizza was fantastic and I got a little Greek salad that was magically delicious! I’ll be back soon!

Ok, we ordered through Grubhub (had a coupon for free delivery and this doesn’t include tip just the food)and got two pizzas and garlic cheese breadsticks. It was $50. FIFTY DOLLARS!! The pizza was good but it’s small. Like, smaller amount of food than a Dominos $5.99 medium pizza. We could get an entire party worth of pizza for $50 from Domino’s and honestly, it’s just about as good as this place. Maybe they sprinkle it with magical fairy dust or mix gold flakes into the dough? I don’t know but unfortunately until we win the lottery we will not be dropping $50 on two tiny pies again.

My order: The Carnivore pizza, a cheese pie with chicken and red onion, garlic parmesan and chipotle wings and bread knots. The bread knots could use some garlic. Word to the wise: the spicy marinara is SPICY A.F. (Like habanero hot...almost a little too much). Thumbs up overall.

We are visiting for Balloon Fiesta 2019 and loved this place. After a long day at the fiesta wr ordered pizzas through uber eats and there was an issue where this pizzas were picked up but never delivered to us. Randy (the manager, I believe) called to let us know and remade the whole order and had uber eats take care of the cost. They went out of their way to make things right and on top of that the pizza was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend.

Great pizza! Straight up is one of the best places in town to get pizza. They have a very unique and delicious crust and the traditional and spicy pizza sauce is excellent. Do your self a favor and try this place out. You will most likely be going back. I also like that it’s a local business. I would rather give them my money then a big pizza chain.

The pizza was very enjoyable and not heavy as some other pizza places. The staff was professional and pizza was prepared within a reasonable time. We did pick it up and it's unfortunate that they are located in a lightly populated strip mall. As I understand by visiting, it's strictly delivery or carry out...no dining in. It is a little more expensive than most in the area but was a pleasant change.

This place is about fresh ingredients to the point I actually really not only enjoy but love a veggie pizza. I wish I could give 6 stars as the pepperoni mushroom calzone was like a pastry from the gods, seriously wow! They really make each and every pizza with love and the pizza looked beautiful!!! I highly suggest going there but there is no sitting area so don’t think about eating at the store but good pizza. Lots of choices! A little bit pricey I got one large pizza with 3 topping and it was $27 with change.
