Such a yummy place to get ice cream! Love the coffee one with actual coffee grounds in it, yummy!!

Good ice cream and a wide variety of flavors! Plenty of seating indoors and outside. We had their truck at our wedding and were very happy with it. Brent did a great job creating our custom flavor!

Hands down this is the best tasting ice cream in central PA. Living in an agricultural mecca we have tons of creameries and dairies within a 100 mile radius of York, but Sweet Willows Creamery makes travelling outside our local area for ice cream a folly. There's no need to go anywhere else other than to come here and enjoy an absolutely delicious bowl of hand crafted ice cream. Kudos to Sweet Willows Creamery. I would suggest more seating under the trees as it's too hot & uncomfortable sitting in the sun on the patio while we savor some of your heavenly ice cream.

One of our favorite local ice cream stops. They always have a variety of homemade flavors including Indonesia Sumatra, made with coffee. I tried Blueberry Lemon this time and it was delicious! Ask for a free token to run the suspended train inside. Your kids will love it!

We stopped here last week for an after dinner treat last week. I got a strawberry milkshake and my fiance got a scoop of vanilla bean. Honestly wasnt all that its cracked up to be, just an average ice cream place. The ice cream was okay and my milkshake was average, I've had better. Lot of homemade ice cream competition in York, this didn't stand out in my opinion

My family and I love getting ice cream at this local hot spot! Their flavor selections are on point and their staff is wonderful. We have never been disappointed! But that’s not why I’m writing this review today. We recently rescued a pup earlier this year. She’s estimated around 9.5 months old currently, and boy is she allergic to almost everything (including grass). I have to home cook for her, so I was super hesitant to let her have a pup cup. But we decided she deserves to try dessert. I am so happy to report that thanks to their quality ingredients, our pup had zero issues!! I’m super excited to be able to have these experiences with her in the future!!

Meh. That's the best thing I can say. The ice cream flavors we all tried were basic and bland. The staff got my order wrong and then tried to tell me that it was right.

Everyone on staff was very courteous, the atmosphere was welcoming and spacious, and the ice cream was outstanding.

Ice cream is always fantastic, service good. Original post was 5 stars, see below Edit from original post: Stopped here on Tuesday night, June 4th, 2024. Ordered a triple salted caramel. It had to be 3 half scoops as it was barely above the top of the cup. Asked the server if this was a triple and he responded, yes. We won't ever be back. Even though I live 2 minutes from here I'll drive 20 minutes to Scoops in Lancaster where a triple there is served in a banana split boat because they give you 3 very full scoops. Sadly, this isn't the first time that this has happened and I thought it was a once and done issue. No consistency.

Wow! The homemade icecream here is absolutely amazing. Black Raspberry probably the best I have ever had, and also the salted caramel is delicious! I highly recommend supporting this local small business.

Sweet Willows makes the best homemade ice cream in York County hands-down. This is one of the last few places in the area that puts the service in customer service. I recently purchased a quart of salted caramel ice cream that was a bit too salty for my taste buds and the owner not only refunded my money, he gave me two free quarts for the hassle. I really appreciate the outstanding ice cream and customer service at Sweet Willows. This is the type of A+ treatment that keeps me coming back.

REALLY, really good ice cream! It is worth a trip to the East side of town. You will certainly find a flavor you can enjoy and indulge in a variety of toppings. Take home pints are also available for those late night munchies! I highly recommend Sweet Willows.

I really wanted to like this ice cream. It's not bad. It's just not particularly good. I know I know...support local businesses. What can you do when you try out a local ice cream shop that charges more then Cold Stone and isn't nearly as good? I am just being honest. Nice shop and nice people.

An outstanding ice cream shop offering home made ice cream with a high 17% butterfat content. Delicious! Very quick and pleasant service -- tastes were offered -- and quite reasonable prices. Indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommended -- from a former ice cream industry guy myself.

Nice stop for ice cream. Love that they had some allergy friendly options available too. We went as soon as they opened on a Tuesday and it was pretty quiet, although I heard weekends are packed and busy so glad we were able to get in and get straight to the counter with just one person ahead of us in line. Cute space to sit and chat a while with friends, also had outdoor seating area and a window to order from outside. Overall it was just an average experience though nothing above and beyond to note but no complaints. ♿✅ Handicap accessible entryway and bathroom.

I tried the Ginger and the Lavender ice cream and I narrowed it down to Lavender & Wild Maine Blueberry. It was delicious and you could taste all the natural flavors. I'll definitely be back to check out more flavors!

This is our families favorite ice cream stop! Delicious homemade ice cream. I've tried other ice cream spots but I skates find myself going right back to Sweet Willows. Cliff's death by peanut butter and black raspberry mixed are my 2 favorites!

This is my go to place for great ice cream. This place makes its own and they have an impressive variety of unique flavors. You can still get the basics, and they are better than anywhere in York.

Great local ice cream shop! There's a lot of unique and homemade flavors! The staff is friendly and the inside area is cute and colorful. Also, they have a really neat challenge where you have to eat about 12 scoops of ice cream, bananas, and various toppings in one hour! I haven't tried it but I really want to!

Great ice cream! I got the double dark chocolate and it tasted great. There were little pieces of ice in it which wasn’t amazing, but it was probably just the end of the batch. Overall great customer service and I would definitely recommend trying it out.

I gave 5 stars for the ice cream and 1-2 stars for the price. I was alone and ordered a double scoop. My bill was over $7. I can't imagine taking my kids and my mate for ice cream. That would have been over $28 for ice cream. The ice cream was delicious, but just too luxurious for my pocketbook. It is a place that I will save for VERY SPECIAL occasions. AKH

I know people think Vanilla is vanilla, especially with all the great flavors Sweet Willow's has, but their Vanilla Bean is the best. It doesn't taste artificial or overly sweet.

We come here all the time now that we have found it. They are absolutely delicious and we always have pretty good service. Prices aren't cheap, but it's worth it. I'd definitely recommend. Reminds me of being at the beach. Visit this place today!!! A++++

I forgot how good Sweet Willows was since we moved to New Salem. We were out and about in York and decided we wanted ice cream and travelled to Sweet Willows. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. They gave our son a token for the train and made his day. We sat outside around the cable reels and although it was plastic lawn chairs, it was still comfortable and the ambiance was nice with the lighting they have outside

We love love love the Sumatra coffee ice cream.. we had shakes w choc pcs n choc sprinkles. We brought home ginger flavor n more coffee ice cream. My client loves this place n asks to come often for the coffee milkshake lol. Would love some fresh peach ice cream.

Awesome place, Brent the owner was sooo friendly and we had a great conversation with him. Ice cream was fantastic and you can tell that it is handmade with the best ingredients. So many interesting flavors to choose from! We were just passing through on the way home to Pittsburgh but if we're ever back in the area we will definitely visit Sweet Willows again!

There are so many unique flavors to choose from like Indonesian Sumatra ice cream and Cappuccino Midnight Crunch and Tahitian Vanilla Grapenut yogurt, as well as sorbet, non-diary, and no sugar added. There's really something here to tickle anyone's tastebuds. So hard to choose and tempting to try a bunch of samples (yes - they give samples!) The Cookie Dough ice cream with decadent chocolate chips paired well with the fudgy Double Dark Chocolate flavor, glad I asked for a split scoop. If I had to choose, the Double Dark Chocolate was the winner. Hubby enjoyed the Mint Chocolate Chip. The waffle cones are not made in-house. Carry-out only at the window. There are plenty of tables for outdoor seating!

Wonderful ice cream in the tradition of the PSU Creamery. Indoor and outdoor seating and a great place to take the kids. The staff is very friendly and fairly knowledgeable about the ice cream. Make sure to take a pint or quart to go, and be sure to tip the college kids on staff.

It3s been quite a few years since I was at their brick and mortar location. Been served at their food truck several times and always been pleased. Tonight there was a great selection of regular ice creams. A bit disappointed with only having one dairy free option but at least they had one! My sundae was fantastic! Dirty Oil sundae with coffee ice cream, caramel, hot fudge I think and crushed oreos. Delicious! My daughter went with the mango red raspberry sorbet and she really enjoyed it as well. Will be back!

Our first time having ice cream there. The three of us ordered the same flavors of double scoops - Samatra coffee and double dark chocolate, both flavors left us wanting more. We agreed that we will definitely return and try their other delicious flavors. This Creamery is welcoming and a nice place with an outdoor seating oasis of covered tables and benches.

The slightly higher prices, about $1 per treat more than your local Dairy Queen, are totally worth it as you are supporting small business AND the ingredients are locally sourced and of a higher quality. If you visit often, you can even get free scoops of ice cream if you get a loyalty punch card! in conclusion, this small, locally owned and operated creamery is a well hidden secret in the East York area, and is one of the best places to go in the area for a quick and tasty treat!

Great range of flavors. I love lavender flavored foods and it was one of the only places around that has incorporated it into their menu. Brightly decorated on the inside, lots of flavors and sundaes to choose from. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well.
