Great place just didn't realize they charge a corking fee when you purchase a bottle of wine from them. We tipped on top of that -- they only open the bottle and hand you glasses.

Great selection of wines, chill atmosphere, dog-friendly… what’s not to love about Swirl? You can also order food Nextdoor at 1000 Figs to enjoy with your wine, as well.

I was visiting New Orleans for 6 weeks and was so happy to have Swirl next door! Such a great, neighborhood wine shop with a nice, affordable selection, great staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. My dog even loved visiting (they have dog treats behind the bar)!

Calm, inviting wine bar with plenty of in-house options and even more to take home. Helpful suggestions by the bartender and also a very dog-friendly spot. Would return again if in the neighborhood.

We love this place! Great wine selection, great service and they do fun wine and cocktail classes! And if you drink here, you can bring in food from next door.

Nice, chill vibe, friendly staff, and delicious wine selection. Especially a nice selection of old world wines. You can buy a bottle, but also order by the glass depending on what they have open. The store/bar has a local vibe. You feel like you're part of the neighborhood when you sit here. Also, on game days, they host watch parties, and they have various wine events during the week.

Wine selection is pretty good. I stood around waiting for someone to help me or at least ask if I needed help. There was a man who entered after me whom the employee apparently knew that got help right away. Since it's NYE, I just kept my cool and decided to wait by the counter for help. She did help me find wines that I gave away to gifts, and I tipped anyway. (Pictured is four of the five bottles of wine I purchased and the bottle of bourbon I decided not to buy.)

Great neighborhood place with welcoming service and great quality wine selection. A great place where I bring out of town guests, as well as a place to come alone for solitude out on the patio or meet lovely people in the neighborhood.

A quaint wine bar with good wine selections and friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed a 30 minute wine tasting with friends. I highly recommend Swirl.

Staff is top notch and knowledgeable. I am not that wine savvy, but the staff, Jessie, Erin, and Bridget, never have made me feel uncomfortable . They are terrific and I have seen them have to deal with a lot of difficult situations from customers who are quirky and/or eccentric . I do like their ability to juggle those customers with serious oenophiles and make everyone feel special. I don’t understand creepy reviews that denigrate hard working people. Sad, sad, sad!

I love Swirl and I love everyone who works there. They are super heroes during this time. Jesse is AWESOME!

I was bragging to my son in Chicago how well Swirl was adapting to the new normal with pick up and delivery of wine, cheese, chocolates and olives and our son surprised us with a wonderful delivery from Swirl. I can't say enough good things about Swirl. It is a wonderful, welcoming wine bar with lots of "learning" events. Wednesday night flights are fun and well planned with someone to answer questions about wine being served. Champagne tastings are great with a real chance to learn about how champagnes are made. The addition of cheese plates made to order is a winner. Kudos to Swirl!!

Not only one of the best wine stores I've encountered, not only one of the best wine bars ever, but just a great place to be with friends to enjoy, and I hope contribute to, the sense of fellowship.
