Great place for fast, good tasting tex mex food. Staff is polite, responsive, and professional at all times. Place is always clean and neat. Never have to clean off a table yourself.

It's reasonably healthful California style mexican food in a build-it-yourself method. This location is a franchisee and well run; service is generally quite good and expedient.

The owner was super rude to my daughter...as a native american female he was blatantly racist to her....she called me via video chat and i have never seen an restaurant owner act in sich a way... IF U ARE NATIVE OR AFRICAN AMERICAN DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!

Anytime of the day or evening we go in we are always greeted by a smile and friendly hello! Service is always quick and easy! The food! Let me tell you the food is always always good!!

The girls who worked there were rude and one girl was trying to fold my burrito and it went all over the wrap and tinfoil and it was a mess so I asked to have it redone n they ignored me and this is what my burrito looks like freshly unfolded….

Wet burrito had descent flavor but little spice. Staff was friendly and quick but no one could serve the beer.

I don't speak english very well and I called and asked to speak to the owner to congrat him for his service and the person that answered my call said "We speak english here, and you are calling in the middle of the rush hour" and hung up on me... nice,

If you like TexMex, there's no better place for it than here because of the variety/options. Always plenty of seating. Have a little patience going through the line, it's worth it's. My favorite is the enchilada platter but also the Baja burrito, and huge quesadillas (I go carnitas with raw onion inside ... So good), and fish tacos are other stand-bys for me. Also, locally owned and great owners, Pat and Angie!

I have celiacs. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Washed hands and changed gloves for my order and opened a new bag of tortilla chips just for my order!

First visit I had the burrito upgraded with sour cream and guacamole with ground beef with Pico lettuce cheese wet. My second day I had the same thing only dry instead of wet.

Had a super good lunch heading to the airport good people good food.

Stopped in a few times just to cool down and relax, was never harrassed and was always greeted with a smile. Finally tried their food and have to say it's really good!!!!.....and thanks for the refills. 👍😎

Pros: Very good food, and chill atmosphere Cons:so expensive, they really do nickel and dime you on everything. Quesadilla doesn’t come with salsa that’s an up charge. Burrito can’t get any extra rice or beans that’s an up charge, Certain meat is an up charge. Queso,guac, sour cream that’s an up charge.

Chicken tortilla soup wasn't good.

Tried the "*Build Your Own* - Chicken Tortilla Soup" -was great!! Definately will have again!! Tacos are alwaze a WIN-WIN!!

First things first, the food is great. The ingredients taste fresher, maybe more locally sourced than chain competitors. The difference between store bought and garden fresh best describes Taco Del Mar, and that is really all a person needs to know. Second item, I used my Costco credit card to pay for my food and left it behind, I know I know. They called Costco two different times to speak with two different associates to have them get ahold of me to come and get my card again over the course of two days. Small town service, big league taste.

The folks who work here are wonderful. The food is fresh and delicious! Thank you!

Great place for a quick bite near the airport

I'm only posting my personal opinion on the food here! I ordered the burrito bowl with shredded beef, black beans, rice, cheese, lettuce and guacamole! With all of those toppings you would think there would have been some flavor but no flavor could be tasted whatsoever! I wont be back but again, just my opinion!

I really enjoy their food on the occasional visit. Staff is always friendly and the place is always very clean when I visit. Good food on par with similarly positioned restaurants. Not quite fast food but not a 'sit down' meal. Similar, maybe slightly higher, to a Chipotle or Qdoba but serves a beer if you would like (I would).

Love the food here too. I didn't know it's like Subway, but for burritos and tacos. :D

Don't let the outside of the building mislead you. The food is great and the inside has a nice beach vibe.

Lady at nights was rude to me and other employees. Rolled her eyes cause she had to repeat herself. Barely gave meat ( it was basically out but she didnt even let me know I'm case I wanted different meat). AND almost made my burrito wet when I told her twice I didnt want it wet

Generous portion sizes. Each counter person was very knowledgeable about the different items and put the customers first. I've eaten in and ordered take-out; each were good experiences.

I don’t usually eat at fast food chains, I needed something quick on a long drive without too many options around. Zak at this location needs a raise. His competence level and customer service is on par with a more upscale dining experience. The owner hopefully can continue to offer opportunities this young man to expand his career. He is an asset to your establishment.

Great mexican fare, made right in front of you with you picking the fresh ingredients . It is very reasonably priced. Always get the meat quesadilla platter with seasoned pork carnitas.

Good food, They would get a 5, but pretty small chip potions, they weigh the chips for every order. Charge a little more and chips and salsa flow. Good owners involved in the day to day operation.
