Delicious Mexican style food. They make everything in house - all sauces, tortillas, etc. No frills atmosphere, but friendly and efficient service. Really good food at a fair price!

The food was absolutely horrible. Cold and thrown together. Ordered a Mexican pizza but wasn't given a fork to eat it with. The chalupa shell was hard as a brick. Asked for mild sauce and didn't receive. Charged me x3 for extra cheese on the pizza. Total of $14 wasted.

Made a large order for my family of 15 that came in town, lady behind the counter told us to call in next time, the people behind us told them they called ahead and gave their name, she inappropriately raised her voice said she never got a call in order and must’ve called the wrong one. They pulled up the phone number and it actually was the right number. Not sure what good it is to call in an order if they can just deny ever getting it. I was embarrassed for the costumers trying to pick up their food.

Bring Cash! Awesome food, beyond fair prices and amazing daily specials

Taco has pretty good food, but is set up as a take out business with a very short counter for some to possibly eat in. They appear to run efficiently as food comes out pretty fast. I had a Taco salad and it's a great bargain for our current economic times.

2024 Food qualify went down hill while price went up quite a bit and not much service to be mentioned. The woman manager/staff at this location was not friendly at all and acting she was bothered by her customers. Very rude. Better support the other location at FWB. Do not care about cash only policy! Won't come back! 2023 We try to support local place as much as we can. Unfortunately, food quality and service has been going downhill quickly. We will go somewhere else. 2021 We tried this place first time and had taco salad. Very fresh and fast. Will go back again!

Great food and terrible view , one of the best valued restaurants in the area.

Great food , a little pricey almost willing to go back if it weren't for the rude women at the front who started talking trash in Spanish over a misunderstanding on the phone.

I'm sure this place is just as good as the fort Walton location but the cash only policy prevented me from eating lunch here today and probably forever unless that changes. Hardly anyone carries cash in these modern times!

I have been eating taco town for 20+ years and the only thing that will stop is if they close. Thanks for the amazing food.

Good American tacos at a reasonable price

Rude Customer Service! Went there today to pick up lunch for my office and explained it was my first time there and wanted to order 12 tacos. I asked several questions about their menu and was met with multiple eye rolls and heavy sighing. I will not be back or recommend this restaurant to anyone based on the service. Good job cashier!

Mmm...mmm... delicious! This is a cash only carry out place, but the servings are well worth the price! I ordered a double taco and a chicken burrito along with cinnamon munchies (chips), all under $10. The salsa is hot and chunky and made to order. They substituted black olives for shredded cheese for me too!

Sorry, no flavor at all!! Very disappointed 😞

3:05 PM Thu., May 4, 2023 Rude Service My husband and I were talking to each other about the total and my husband figured out we were charged more for the dressing than what was expected. We were talking about it amongst each other, and I said, "It's only 50¢ on the menu." He asked the girl at the register about it and she flatly said, "It's 80¢." Handing out our food to us, the same girl said, "Here." But the next person that also got their food got a pleasant, "Have a nice day!" We have never had a problem there before.

Dean and his staff are so friendly. The food is always good and the sauce can't be beat. All the food is good, but I especially love their taco salads and the nachos. They also do a daily special. When you place a pick-up order, it's actually ready in the time they tell you. Not like other restaurants where you show up, and they have a ton of cars in their pickup lane, and you sit for 30 minutes just to get cold food and no apology, and then they still expect a tip.

Food is fantastic. Price is low. Location close by. Waiting can be a problem as the area is so small. Well worth the wait for take out. Or call ahead. CASH ONLY $$$$$

The food was absolutely amazing and I was very impressed. It was also very cheap. However, not a single employee was wearing gloves while making the food. If a restaurant is making/serving food, they are required to wear gloves by law. Hopefully they fix this issue in the future so that I can return for more great food.

This is a great spot to grab some tacos and the hot salsa and guacamole is excellent. You can't beat the price either.

No fuss, cheap and quick. That is how this place has always been, and still to this day excels at. Still love getting their taco salads, and while not the supreme height of culinary excellence, they do what they do well.

Save your money and hard pass this place. It has gone downhill with the quality and service. The taco salad was basically inedible with stale shell and flavorless beef. The collosal burrito was just as bad with no flavor and what seemed like 3 day old wraps that were re-used from a prior returned meal. The staff (kids) were very put out by having to take an order and prepare the food. This made for a very uncomfortable order and transaction. I ended up throwing it all away as I wouldn't feed this to my dog.

I just went and spent over 30 dollars and when I called to say they messed up my order the lady had a attitude and would not remake my order...I will never go back to this place again after being talked to like that.

I use to go to the one in FWB when I worked in FWB. I loved it. So I tried the one in Niceville. The vibe isn’t like the one in FWB. The lady seems like she hates her job. Not very friendly. Food also isn’t as great as the one in FWB. Not sure why if the ingredients are or at least should be the same. If anyone doesn’t like the attitude and vibe at this Taco Town, I recommend trying the one in Fort Walton Beach on Racetrack. Always excellent friendly customer service.

Chicken taco salads are the bomb!

On Tuesday, taco salad is wonderful and special for the day. I love their ice also.

You're missing the whole point when you mention rude and no gloves. It's a hole in the wall. It's cheap. It's delicious. It's been here forever. That's the point.

The woman making our food was very rude to us and used foul language unnecessarily. The food is usually good and was this time too. We ordered a meal and didn't get the 2 sides that went with it all because we asked them not to put the cheese sauce on the burrito.

Quick easy dinner night for the family. The ladies are always friendly and willing to answer questions about the menu and help their guests.. even when extremely busy our orders have been correct and ready in a timely manner. Daily specials are also always awesome. Highly recommend the taco salad.

Taco Town is great and inexpensive food! Be sure to check out their daily lunch specials and bring cash! Their debit machine doesn't always work and when it does work you get charged extra for the debit transaction. (No credit transactions.)

Taco Town is a local staple. Been eating there since 2002. The food is nothing special but it's super cheap and super fast and a heck of a lot better than Taco Bell.

Absolutely love this place for some nice take out food! Would not recommend for dining in as they only have a bar and one table with a few chairs. The food is always good & fresh, the chips & cheese is the best or their daily deals during the week! Definitely order ahead for pick up as sometimes they do get quite busy.

A lot of really good reviews convinced me to try this place, but was super disappointed and appalled. The food smelled really good and was very affordable, but both the workers handled all the ingredients without gloves. One of the workers had been seen previously outside smoking and came right in without washing her hands before ringing us up and then preceding to make the food. This was very shocking. We really wanted to try the food, but not at the risk of becoming seriously ill. Food safety is no joke. Therefore the food was trashed and we went elsewhere to get dinner. Again, very disgusted and disappointed.

My entire family, mom, dad, relatives, etc. love this place. TheNiceville location revels in being the quintessential small hole-in-the-wall joint focusing on serving great food at very low prices. But other locations are larger. Two tacos $1.29 any day, and their day of the week special prices are even better.

Price is crazy low. We enjoyed most of what was ordered. Tacos were tasty (2 for 1.29), but something hit us awful that night...seems too coincidental...

Great local place. Decent prices and great food. They have specials every day of the week. The only downside is they only take cash or debit. Great "hole-in-the-wall" place. We are yet to have anything bad. We feed the whole family. My favorite is the taco salad. Highly recommend anyone in the area to try it out.
