Great service and excellent food!! The desserts are the best part🇲🇽🫔new favorite Mexican restaurant!!!

Food was okay and great atmosphere but slightly overpriced, in my opinion. Parking is very limited and competing with the ice-cream parlor next door. I'd return if I'm in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

The burrito was amazing, best ever. The chips and avocado were good, margaritas not very good. Service was good at counter. However I was shocked after spending almost $100 for 3 people in a whole in the wall restaurant that when I asked for a glass of water they said they could only sell us water. 🤷🏼 not the kind of response I’m used to. Found it sad and petty but i guess people around here find that ok. Not the kind of place I would go back to.

This wasy first time coming here and I will say this is a 100 out of 10. They made me feel back at home. The food was so delicious and I love the atmosphere. The would recommend them. Love the sopes and the birria tacos.

It’s the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had!! The portion was really small… steak didn’t look like steak… no hot sauce… Really expensive for what you get!! Will never turn!! Bland

One of the worst service I’ve ever had in my life, I was at the table waiting for service and I wasn’t served, the waitresses lost and in a bad mood, the only one who was doing a great service was the cashier girl because the rest didn’t want to work.

Excellent place to eat!!!! The food is great the drinks are amazing! And the service is fantastic! The only down side is the parking, but highly recommend.

I don’t know how I could love this spot more. The staff is exceptional, very attentive and happy all the time. The food is the best. Their Mole over chicken tamales is my personal favorite. The atmosphere is always festive and fun. Hope they get a liquor license some day. Would love Mezcal cocktail here.

food is excellent and decadent, drink selection is plentiful with my favorite 32 oz. beers & bottled aperol spritz (which i’ve never seen before), service was even better, Iris welcomed us and was very informative as well as great with conversation and suggestions. Fantastic experience, look forward to coming back very soon.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. The service is great. The chefs were in the restaurant and when we said we hadn't been here before they offered to make a half/half tamale plate so we could try two different types. Definitely start with the elote!

I loved the restaurant esthetic! The food was superb! Make sure to try the elote!! It was fire!! The staff was awesome and super accommodating! Highly recommend this place!!! Definitely will be back! If you like spicy get the Al pastor tamale! You will not be disappointed!

What a great place! Natalie took our order, and she was extremely helpful and had great energy. A good start out the gate. I ordered the vegan tamales. One black bean and one cactus. I was really impressed with how much I enjoyed the cactus! I also had a michelada, which is one of the best ones I’ve had in the Orlando area. The atmosphere is very exciting, colorful, musical, and creates an atmosphere ready for fun. Solid choice, solid price for 2 entrees and 2 drinks plus chips and salsa. 10/10 would eat again!

We came here from the Florida mall after looking up places to go on tik tok and We had such a great time!! We celebrated my son’s 13th birthday and they literally made it sooo special food was delicious the Birra Grilled cheese yummm and tamales were great too. Thank you everyone who made our first experience and celebration one to remember Xoxox ps for those foodies that don’t care for to much spice they have great options for you here :)

We are a family of 3 and we are bug foodies...especia)y tamales and they were so good. The sopes and tacos were chefs kiss👏🏻 my son went to town on the kids meal chicken fingers and fries. The atmosphere was colorful and ao fun. I'm obsessed with Frida Khalo and I loved the representation throughout the place. Will for sure be back.

As someone who has grown up with food like this, this some of the most authentic tamales, rice, and beans I've ever had that was made by a resturaunt! Incredible food, and the inside looks so beautiful and inviting.

Came here from TikTok but didn't live up to the hype. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food this isn't it. Overpriced. $8 for a small flan and $2 for a bottle of water since they don't give out free water...

Very good food with large portions. Love the atmosphere. Their tamales are tasty, well seasoned and not dry. They taste like they just came out of the cooker and were made fresh.

The food was absolutely amazing ! The Birra was the best I’ve ever had. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Jenny and Fernando. They are so humble and genuine ! Everyone that worked there was very friendly! You can tell they are happy to be there. This place is a must try ! We drove an hour and we were not disappointed!

Wow! Have been wanting to try this place since we went to crispy cones! Today we arrived around 11:15, they just opened and no one was in there yet. The staff was so friendly and the decoration inside was so delightful! You order at the register and the nice man at the counter recommended the birria grilled cheese (and even went and pulled up videos from IG), and the carne asada tamale, we also got the aqua Fresca pineapple to drink. You can go and seat yourself anywhere after you order and pay. The food, the food, wow.. best tamale I have had in a long time and that grilled cheese? Damn! Best grilled cheese ever! We rolled out of there and probably won’t be eating for the rest of the day. The staff were just so friendly and the food is amazing!! Highly recommend if you need some good food.

I was craving tacos and found Tamale Co. on Google Maps. The place was moderately crowded at 1pm. I ordered three corn tacos with carnitas, pico de gallo, guacamole, and Mexican cheese. My order was served promptly in less than five minutes. The tacos were decent but not exceptional. If I had to give some feedback, it would be about the meat. It was a bit dry and lacked seasoning, so I had to add some salt. Additionally, I wished the meat was more tender and pulled. I was so hungry that forgot to take a picture 🙈.

My first time coming here was for Cinco de Mayo. They had a block party, and the ambiance was great. After that, we ordered takeout. We ordered carne asada tacos and sopes de carne asada. The food was very tasty, and their margaritas were good, too. The only inconvenience we experienced was that parking can be tricky. Friendly staff

I had the absolute best experience here. The Mango Aguas Frescas was easily one of the best that I’ve EVER had anywhere, and they were kind enough to let me try it. I don’t usually eat quesadillas but something told me to try it and I DON’T REGRET IT AT ALL!! That steak was cooked to perfection and everything was seasoned perfectly. The rice, beans and salad that went with it made the meal even more worth it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you want some amazing Mexican Street food!

We ordered Uber eats- it was really pricey and the food was mid. I wouldn’t order again, that’s for sure. The Mexican corn was dry… like you see it dry why send it? Ewww. Also, there was a piece of plastic probably from a container in my food. That was the least of my concerns.

Amazing atmosphere, drinks and food. WOW! Iris was an awesome server providing us the best margaritas and service. We sat at the bar for date night and had the best time. We live in the neighborhood and this was our first time visiting, and now it’s a staple. We have to come back to try everything on the menu!

One of our favorite experiences! We sat at the bar and the service was great, ambiance was super vibrant, drinks were delicious (loved both the mango and hibiscus jalapeño margs) and food was amazing. Love this being a neighbor spot and highly recommend checking out this gem. Iris was our bartender/server and she was wonderful + had great recommendations!

Great atmosphere and service at this order from the counter Mexican restaurant. If you like tamales, this is your place! If tamales are not your thing, there are several other options. The tacos are very good and the cost is reasonable. I am not a tamale person, but I would return to this popular place.

We stopped in here the other day. After a visit to the VA in Orlando. One of the many anyway lol. Tamale Co is located in what they call the hourglass district. Still not sure why they call it that. There is also a few other places there worth checking out. So, as I said. We stopped in for drinks and a quick bite. The Micheladas were amazing for sure. It is my favorite drink. The appetizers we ordered as well, were great. I wish I could remember the names of what they were. Either way. I would definitely recommend stopping in here for a bite and or some drinks.

Food was great! However, the restaurant feels cramped and small. Service was average it was not the best had to ask for dipping sauce several times.

Very good tamales. They have a lot of protein inside which is what keeps me coming back here. So many great options. Also tons of gluten free

We came here for lunch as we love their food truck & just discovered they have a permanent location! You order at the counter & take your seat where they bring you your food. My husband ordered the Michelada & the Birria Quesatacos, and I ordered the El Garden Tamales. We both really enjoyed our food and would absolutely get again. The atmosphere is so fun, it made the experience that much more enjoyable.

This is an amazing place for Mexican Food in Orlando not only the best Tamales in Orlando and Florida. You must visit this place to received an excellent service. I want to mention Iris at the bar she took the time to go over the menu and choices of drinks, we got a few samples then Natalia show up at the bar to help with her choices of churros and Horchata and friendly talks. Wow an amazing place to enjoy a nice late dinner. Last a 5 start excellent service.

Found out about this place from my parents. Used to be a food truck, but their food is so good and in such high-demand, they acquired this location to continuously provide amazing cuisine and service. Best place around for tamales!

I was hyped up about this place but my experience was just mediocre. The atmosphere is super colorful and fun. The staff were very friendly but service was slow. Received our drinks, appetizers, and food all at once which wasn’t ideal. The food was pretty good but nothing special. Ordered the Elote, El Tri, Al Pastor Tamales (very spicy), Dos Amigos Tamales, and margaritas. For two people our bill was over $100 which I thought was pretty expensive for an “order at the counter” type of restaurant.

Loved the Chicken Fajitas Tamales! Also loved the glass bottle coke.

Nice atmosphere and sweet staff. Unfortunately, the food is mediocre. I truly do not understand why this place is so hyped. Tamales had no flavor and the meat was so dry. The elote corn was not edible and over cooked. The grilled cheese did not have much cheese at all. The tacos were stale and cold and the meat was unseasoned. You can’t order anything al la carte so it kinda sucks to pay $10 for two tacos with no sides. The only thing I enjoyed was the agua fresca. I will have to say I am pretty disappointed because I have been looking forward to trying this place for a while.

Normally get the food to go and it’s always been delicious. Ate inside this time and the experience and food was wonderful.

Tamales were average at best. Very thick with basically no filling. Not very flavorful either. They also play terrible music at a deafening volume.

This is the place in Orlando to go if you want tamales. No doubt. I highly recommend the mole tamales although they're all great. Ypdate: Three years later, they're not nearly as good as they used to be. The tamales are almost all masa, the meat inside has disappeared. I ordered one pork and one chicken Tamale and got two chicken and if you want a glass of water, it'll now cost you $2. Tables and chairs are jammed in so tight that there's barely ruin to move around or sit. Another restaraunt rubbed by their success.

I can't even begin to describe the incredible customer service I experienced at Tamale! The food was absolutely fantastic and piping hot. I barely had to wait five minutes for my order. I can't wait to go back on my next day off! my boyfriend was extremely happy. The atmosphere is so cute. The staff was amazing

This place was absolutely amazing! So so cute inside and great music and decor. The hibiscus Agua Fresca was insanely good and the large was actually so worth the price it was enormous. The had 3 meat replacements cactus, mushrooms, and peppers. It was very well seasoned and delicious food. Definitely going back over and over again.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Was told my order was almost finished after 40 minutes, so I waited 10 more minutes and returned to the counter and was told they never received my order. After showing them the confirmation on my phone they made the order 20 minutes later and offered no apology for their mistake. So after an hour of waiting for my order I drove 40 minutes home to find that my order was wrong after having an allergic reaction to meat and dairy found in my vegan order after confirming twice what I ordered. I definitely won’t be returning here.

Everything was really good. A bit on the expensive side and they only do bottled water - no complementary water - but the food was excellent.
