Dissatisfied disappointed walked in treated awful. They completely overlooked me seated someone who came in after me. Sat at table for 35 minutes before being approached to order while everyone else including ppl who arrived after me got served. Being that they guessed we wanted takeout being that we were the black people coming in I guess all other black people knew that's their treatment so you better order takeout. So other black folks beware

It was alright for a little town .

Usually a great spot to go for breakfast/lunch/dinner, but today 11/5 was the opposite unfortunately. We were one of only three tables inside, food took over an hour to come out, eggs and pancakes were burnt. Very disappointing

Mrs. Rose knows what she is doing! Her staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is a perfect representation of Cajun cuisine. Always fresh and sourced locally, you will get a true cajun food experience. This is how we cook in our homes!

Local home town food very good a little pricey but worth the money

Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked to the requested temperature. The onion rings were scrumptious. Our server had a wonderful personality and took amazing care of us.

THE FOOD AND SERVICE WERE PERFECT !!! I AM 70 YEARS OLD, AND I THOUGHT THAT MY GRANDMOTHER WAS COOKING IN THEIR KITCHEN !!!! ALL FOUR OF US ATE FOR $53.00 !!! THE SERVICE WAS SO GREAT, I LEFT A $47.00 TIP !!!! WE WILL ALL BE BACK FOR THEIR RIB EYE AND FILET MIGNON STEAKS !!!!

Just left from there the breakfast is awesome the omelet is Devine love it service is great.

Definitely a hidden gem. Everything has a home cooked twist.. From the corn and crab bisque, to the real char-grill ribeye, to the mouth watering bread pudding.. just wonderfull. P.s. Make sure you have a couple hours available if your visiting on a prime night.

Went to Teche Cafe at the suggestion of a local. Unassuing place from the exterior. We saw customers leaving with huge bags of food while walking up to it. The soups and seafood were perfectly seasoned and prepared. The interior is the opposite of fancy, but the quality of the food makes that meaningless. Our waitress was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Be aware: the customers are more likely to wear masks than the staff. You're on your own when it comes to protecting yourself here. The take-out option is readily available but eating in or out will still be a gourmet meal.

Very good breakfast. Portions are huge and prices inexpensive. Also, if you go for dinner, their ribeyes and stuffed potatoes are out of this world good!! Tip your waitress!

A local diner frequented by locals, with amazing, delicious food!

Good was average. My husband’s burger was decent. It was an old fashioned burger. The fries were not that good. I ordered a cup of seafood gumbo and it was not good at all. It may be good for others but wasn’t the taste I’m used to. The service was good.

I’ve eaten here for about a decade. The tuna steak is delicious. I love their pistolettes! The breakfast sandwiches are also tasty. Down home feel inside the restaurant and the staff have been friendly every time I go. Only bummer is the breakfast hash browns tend to be burnt. Skip that and literally get anything else on the menu and you’ll leave with a happy belly.
