Our experience will be treasured for a lifetime. We were passing through the area and my husband treated me to a fabulous steak dinner. The endless salad was an extra treat. And the staff love serving their guests.. You will not be disappointed I promise!!

First off they have a limited menu with the first meat dish starting around $30. All of our food was good but for the price it should have been awesome. It wasn’t any better than Texas Roadhouse but a lot more expensive. While the wait staff was good it was a big turn off when the waiter said don’t forget I have to share the tip. They are too many places to eat out that are just as good and a lot less expensive.

Fantastic food and service. Some of the best steaks I've had in a long time.

Texas Cattle Company never disappoints. Appetizer (Dang Bang Shrimp) was amazing. The house salad is my favorite. Steak was perfect and you can't forget loaded mash potatoes with sauteed mushrooms. I can't wait to return.

This is absolutely my favorite restaurants in Lakeland. The Cowgirl T-bone was seasoned and super tender. It was cooked to perfection. The baked potato was delicious. The Blue Rose of Texas is always my go to drink. And the butter cake is another absolute favorite. Our server Taylor was amazing. She was friendly and outgoing and provided us with top tier service. The manager came to the table to ensure everything was great and it was. Texas Cattle Company never disappoints. I have been coming for years and will always continue to come back. Great job Texas Cattle Company!

They changed the menu again. Prices went up way high. The only affordable steak was the petite filet and it wasn’t a good piece of meat. Been coming here for many years, and this was an unsatisfactory meal.

This place is great! Food was excellent. Server (Will) was fantastic. Manager, Joseph's topped by for a chat and was funny and very friendly. You can't go wrong with the 22 oz. ribeye, cooked to perfection. We moved to Lakeland about 3 years ago and this place is the best. We'll keep coming back.

I had a meeting in lakeland and I was hungry suddenly I remember Texas Cattle. I was so happy I went. It's been years, and as I walked in, the manager host was so welcome. I was delighted to see Ashley, the manager. She took me to the table, and our server Monika was such a delight. I brought back so many great memories about Texes Cattle. I enjoyed it with my friend and her daughter. Now, I definitely have my spot in lakeland. Thank you, Ashley, for doing a great job in Texas Cattle Company. Ember was an awesome server. Food was as expected with a pleasant surprise suggested by Ember. Dang Bang Shrimp app was banging.

Simply the best steak and overall dining experience in Lakeland. Plus the Mirror Lake setting is a true gem that should be on everyone's list of special places.

This place is a bit pricey, but wow it is worth it! The steak was exactly as ordered and perfectly seasoned. Sides were unique and very tasty. Our server took great care of us and we enjoyed the ambiance. It's a great place to celebrate or even just to finish out the week with a treat!

Before I say anything else, those gator bites were the highlight of my dinner and is the top reason why I will most definitely be back. Okay, now that that's out of the way, the food was phenomenal. Everything had such great flavor. The steak was tender and seasoned to perfection. The drinks were hitting! The service was amazing. I've already recommended this place to a few of my friends who love steakhouses.

Best meal we have had in a while! We drove 40 miles to Lakeland because we love this place and the one close to our house closed down. We had the steaks and they were PERFECTION, my husband is a butcher so we know our steaks. The apps were to die for. Our waiter Morgan was great and had good recommendations (the escargot… chefs kiss) and the manger Joseph was very personable and courteous. It was just the best date night meal 10/10 HIGHLY recommend.

Had my wifes birthday there first time there. It was OK the steaks had alot of grissel in them plus they are very very expensive. We probably will go back if they lower there prices alittle, but outside of that it was just a OK experience.

This was our first visit here. Was a good choice for dinner for my BD. Pleasant atmosphere, clean and great wait staff. Staff very attentive, manager visited several times to see if all was well which it was. The steaks my wife and I ordered were prepared perfectly. Will be returning in the future.

Crystal our server is always a pleasure . Only issue there so called colossal is not colossal. Its average at best. However it had a good flavor and we enjoyed it!

Atmosphere was good and service was very good. High end steaks had more gristle than it should have for the price of the meat. I was also a bit taken back when they decided to add the tip “for me.” My party was only 3 people and I haven’t seen that done for a small party. So I will probably won’t be returning due to that.

Went there for my birthday. Being by myself I had to order 2 complete meals. So I could get $25.00 off for my birthday. One for their and one to take home. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed both . They have the best steak. The one I took home was really good the next day. I plan on going back soon and on my birthday next year God willing.

Last night I was here I ordered a cowgirl and it was tough. My husband ordered the dry aged and it was tough also. The service was good, but when telling Jaydon I wanted extra olives in my Bloody Mary he didn’t listen. Last time I was here the food was outstanding.

We went to TCC last night for a date night. The food was amazing, as always. Their house salad is my absolute favorite, I wish I had the recipe to make it at home. I ordered a larger filet than I normally do and it came out more well done than I'd like, but the manager was quick to make it right. Delicious.

We went here for the free steak for my birthday come to find out they changed it, two months before we came, to $25 off a meal, which will cover 2 desserts, then they add a 1% birthday gratuity for the restaurant a 20% birthday gratuity for the server, on top of whatever else you want to tip, it’s honestly cheaper to not say it’s your birthday. We’re definitely not doing this again. The only thing that saved them was their $5 baked potato was good and the servers are all very nice.

Absolutely great steak. Love this place. Not our first, won’t be the last visit. Very consistent and enjoy my foods and service.

Joe the manager is outstanding, our waitress was Lauren. It was our first time dining here, and we were absolutely blown away the appetizers, the house salad the amazing bread. All four of us got steaks and they were cooked to perfection. We eat at many steak restaurants, especially Brazilian steakhouses in this place is at the top of all of our lists. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

For the first time in over a decade we celebrated my birthday at TCC. The steak was the only thing keeping it from a one star rating. I’ve honestly had better service at Olive Garden. I can only assume the poor service is due to the gratuity already being factored into the bill, although most fine steak houses have the same billing policy but provide quality service. For the price of the food one can reasonably expect quality service. The steaks were good despite one being incorrectly cooked. The mashed potatoes are way too heavy on powdered garlic, it takes away from the flavor of the dish. My son’s Texas Fries were overcooked and dry. Between this, the poor service and the three of us being crammed into a tiny two person booth, we won’t return. For the money make the trip to Ruth Chris or Charley’s.

Great evening. Thanks for a delightful experience. We just moved to Lakeland and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We’ll be back.

When in Lakeland and you are looking for that STEAK HOUSE, look no further. The staff, the atmosphere, and the food were right on the money. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

This is literally our favorite restaurant ever. We live out of state but every time we visit Florida, we make a way to visit this place. Our favorite meal is the mushroom appetizer, the salad, and the filet with mashed potatoes. The filet is so tender and we always order it medium rare. Last night, we were traveling with friends and we ordered our filet as usual. It came out medium but we knew if we sent it back, they would be finished before our steak came out so we just kept it. I was disappointed a little because we only get to come once or twice a year and I love this steak. Only the center had a bit of red to it. The outside was dry but still had a good flavor. In the end, service was amazing and we will be back. We have decided to ask to have the filet butterflied next time so it’s not over cooked again. This place is not to be missed! Even an over cooked steak here is better than any other steak I’ve had. The pork chops are delicious too if steak aren’t your thing.

We went because we’ve heard a lot of good about this restaurant. We waited an hour for a table without a reservation (which is fine and expected). The only option for kids steak is a $20 filet and $12 for a burger. We paid $10 for the wood fired asparagus that had absolutely no flavor. We ordered two New York strip steaks and they were ok but we definitely expected better given the great reviews. The salad was really good though. It just felt overpriced for the quality.

Reservation was for 815, we arrived at 8. At 845 still was not seated. Finally seated at 907, which was weird since there were literally 10+ tables available when we were been seated, cleaned and ready. Waitress was nice but slow. She seems to be pre occupied with her boyfriend and issues where she was telling every table her life story. Placed order for Ap and dinner at 916. Having to ask others for refills, salt, pepper, was not ideal, since we were being ignored by others. App came out at 937, which seemed like a long time to wait for potatoes drenched in liquid cheese that was cold. Asked for no tomatoes on my salad and was brought lettuce with tomatoes. Waitress saw me picking them out, setting them to the side, said nothing. Dinner came to the table 1007pm, almost 1 hour after placing order. Service was not what it used to be, food has gone down hill.

The service was great. We arrived with a little wait but time enough to get drinks at the bar and then seated. The food was delicious our waiter Will took time too explain our meal. We enjoyed out appetizers no rush taking our time eating. The entree was served steaks cooked perfectly. Will checked on us throughout our meal . Great experience for our first time daughter experience at Texas cattle co. We will definitely do this again very soon. Thanks again

Will never go back. The quality of the food is effortless  and unfortunately you get better service at McDonald’s then you do at this place and that’s pathetic, especially for the price that you pay! The server charged our credit card but it was another tables bill over $300  just over a horrible horrible

Our night was wonderful. Everything was fabulous from start to finish. Will our waiter was the absolute best. He was suggestive, knowledgeable,courteous and patient. Everyone was completely satisfied with their food, which was superb. Everyone was well pleased.

Food alway good but wine and cocktail prices are RIDICULOUS! Light pour on the wine, barely a shot in a cocktail and the manager was like oh well. Two drinks before tip, basic glass of wine and basic cocktail. $30!

Went here for my birthday wanting to give it another shot but it was awful. Steaks weren’t flavorful and our waitress wasn’t enthusiastic at all. Won’t be back

We went out for my daughter’s birthday. Everything turned out good . Very pleasant experience.The food was good. We could hear each other talk. Good noise level. The waitress was pleasant and very helpful.The food came in a timely manner.We were blessed by the whole experience. Thank you for a delightful meal.

I was so so excited to try this place and I am a fan. Rating 3 stars because the steaks are amazing but there were some shortfalls. First, our server didn’t look us in the eye at all when introducing herself, explaining the restaurant’s history, and taking our order. She was staring down at her ordering tablet the entire time which is pretty rude/unprofessional, especially for a place that’s so pricey. She only came to our table to take our order and bring us drinks. The rest of the meal was served by bussers and we didn’t see her until we paid. We ordered the gator bites appetizer, cowboy porterhouse entree and ribeye entree. The gator bites were cold and rubbery and we didn’t eat many of them. For $18 I would hope they make them to order but it tasted like they had been sitting for quite a while. The steaks were perfect however the salad they served was really disappointing. It comes pre mixed with all the toppings and dressing which makes it very very soggy. Plus you don’t get to choose your dressing which normally I wouldn’t mind but If I’m paying so much money for a meal, I would appreciate yall carrying some dressing options for your patrons. My last criticism is the birthday “special” is kind of a scam. You get $25 off the birthday person’s entree but automatically tip the server 21%. I’m a great tipper but I also believe you earn your tips. Our server ended up with $40 in tip and she was barely at our table. I would have preferred to tip the bussers for doing her job. Overall I think these are pretty easy problems to fix and hope management takes them into consideration because the steaks are absolutely amazing and it’s a great restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant on Lake Mirror. My fiance, myself, family and friends have been going there for over the past 30 years. Went to make the most of a birthday celebration and was let down. I was asked what was wrong and pestered as I was trying to entertain. Hoping this was just an off night as we used to go every week, but not in the last couple of years. It's not an option below but we would recommend their Pork Chops.

I would give the Waiter, Bill an honorary doctorate in Customer Service. Truth is I can’t even remember what I ordered except for the butter cake. Watching Bill in action was the most memorable part of the experience. He was constantly keeping all his customers updated on what was happening. You never felt like you were being ignored, yet he wasn’t overbearing as some wait staff can be. Oh, just remembered, I had the filet mignon. Was very good and I’m not a big beef eater.

I have traveled the world! I've been all over the United States to almost all 50 and spent top dollar at many a steak houses. This one right here takes the win by a mile! The prices are on point for the quality and atmosphere. You usually need a reservation. If you're not sure I would say go for it, you won't be disappointed! I recommend the fried mushrooms as a starter! My family loves them!

Food was over priced - could make better steak at home - overcooked, very salty, and tough when cooked to “medium” - staff was very nice though - also air conditioner vent dripped condensation on us the whole meal

I was looking to get a porterhouse, but my waiter blew up their dry aged meat. Which was 10$ more than the porter house. Ive had a porterhouse before at other steak establishments, but decided to see what the fuss was with this dry aged was. Extreme let down, hardly any flavor and was tough. The broccoli that came with it was awful as well, WAY too much stalk. Half of it I wouldn't eat because it was incredibly tough. The asparagus was INCREDIBLY delicious, which is sad..... the side was the best part of the meal at 11$. Salad was incredibly mediocre, ive gotten better salads in a To-Go box then what they offered. What ever dressing they only offered that was an in house was awful, I have had better dressing from a local Hachi sushi bar. Not sure of our waiters name, but had to be reminded of simple things as a drink my friend order, and for a extra water. I asked for the rest of my dry aged steak to go, and the waiter poured their butter garlic into the box literally ruining it. I barely liked it to begin with but ruined what I took home with it. My alone tab for me of 3 was 200$. The only thing that really gave me any experience was the wine and asparagus. Will not ever come back here, and will never recommend this place to anyone, over sold and over rated. Again, I can make a steak with more flavor at home from what I got from here. Also texans dont use the kind of wood this place cooks with their texas- signed, a texan.

Don’t waste your time visiting this God awful establishment! Literally the worse steak I have ever tried, and to top it off the management doesn’t have any customer service skills whatsoever! Tonight was my birthday and I could have went to outback and had a better experience. Manager Alex Zizo, , and Micheal, “Just” Michael, where complete douche bags. Then we had Ms.Emily who was no better than the 2 of the morons we spoke with to start with. Ashley deVries was apparently on maternity leave, and they were happy to provide that information. Congrats to Ashley, but the establishment she represents is less than sub-par and I feel bad for anyone that would willingly be associated with this sad excuse for a restaurant! For them to have Charley’s advertised on their menu is just mind blowing to me! Polar opposite experiences! Please save your money and visit somewhere such as Outback or even Applebees, because your meal will be ages better! It’s that bad!!! You’re welcome!

We had two great servers, and the management gave a ni e welcome too. You must try the Dang Bang shrimp and salmon.

Service and steaks were excellent. Ambience is exactly what you’d expect for a Saturday nite. My only comment is: why can’t anyone season vegetables? Plain steamed broccoli is not acceptable to me in this fine restaurant. Mine was barely even steamed with No seasoning .

Pricey, but one of the few cases where you get what you pay for. The aged porterhouse was AMAZING.

Great experiences always wonderful waitress food was phenomenal. Probably one of the better steaks that I have had and I went with the ribeye medium. My wife did medium rare both were cooked. Perfectly side of broccoli and asparagus was great and the salads are always very good. Had a nice wine called Bonanza really enjoyed it with a steak not my first time and won’t be my last. Thanks again.

We were celebrating my Mother-in-law’s 93rd birthday. What a great experience. Food was delicious and service was great.

Food was great… However, they placed a highchair right behind my chair at the end of a booth, every time a server moved between the high chair and my chair they bumped my chair, hard enuf that I choked a bit while eating my salad. I really should have said something…paid almost $400 to get disturbed constantly for over an hour

It was a very very busy Saturday night! Jeremy was our server and he was great especially since it was so busy and he had a lot of tables sat right at the same time! The food was amazing as always! We love coming here and always support the charity of the month every time we come!

First time being here, I had ordered the Dry Aged Ribeye. The first few bites were good, however that's where it ended. It was extremely tough and undercooked to the point it was near blue rare with a thick grey ring. I had ordered medium rare. I would have sent it back, however it was extremely dark where I had sat so couldn't tell until I had finished all I could stand. Waitress was very nice and compted a small desert when the bread had also not come out originally. Disappointed for spending $75. Brocoli and bread were phenomenal however.

Everything was great from the start to finish. We started with fried mushrooms, fresh & hot. We got a dry age ribeye steak and shrimp! Perfect combo together. Great flavor & cooked perfectly. Server Will was Very polite and took his time to explain each item on menu. Manager Alex ensured our service and food was cooked to order. That was nice to see mgt out on the floor. It is the go-to fancy steak place in Lakeland. Now, don't get me wrong, you can dress up or just wear jeans, but good food and really good service.

It was my first time dining here, and it had been years prior for my partner. Reviews are all over the place on yelp so I was already concerned, but he wanted to try it again. We came for a birthday, not knowing they offered a promo. I went in having read the menu and was expecting more of a Charley’s experience, which this was not. The prices and the restaurant do not align…at all. We were seated prior to reservation time, which was a bonus. Waiter was very nice, explained their birthday promo (a 21% tip added in for 25$ off is ridiculous, btw), escargot was a tasty starter, my Tito’s martini was more expensive than Donatellos, let that sink in. The top shelf marg was tasty, bread and salad were ok. My partner’s porterhouse was so oddly cooked and over salted, overdone in parts and underdone in others. We didn’t send it back because we were starving. I had the salmon, it was fine. The baked potato 5$ upcharge wasn’t worth it. The mushrooms didn’t have much flavor. Decided to add the brownie for dessert. Took forever to arrive and when it did, it was room temp and dry, the ice cream was the saving grace. Overall, I wanted to love TCC but we won’t return for 200$. Outside of Tampa, a better steak with a similar restaurant vibe, at a much lower price point, can be had at Jesse’s, in my opinion.

Outstanding! One of the best meals we’ve had recently. We dine out frequently and our experience at the Texas Cattle Company was superb. Our waiter, Jeff, made a fantastic wine pairing recommendation and Jimmy cooked the escargot and steaks perfectly. The ambiance was bustling with people entering the restaurant but it was not noisy. It was a great date night.

My server I believe his name is Jeremy; he was amazing he was so friendly and help so much with answering our questions & the steak was literally the best thing I ever tasted the fat literally melted in our mouths . The food is absolutely fantastic… Especially for the price. I’ve been a mini steak houses that cost a lot more than the Texas cattle company, but offer much less. Outstanding! Highly recommend.

I ordered the aged ribeye, but it had a distinct smell of rotting meat. I have ordered aged beef before but never had a smell like this one did. It was cooked properly and was tender and did not have any side effects of the meat actually being bad.
