I wish I had took some pictures! Everything was great, literally didn’t leave a crumb on the plate! This was my first time here, I tried the chicken satay, chicken wings, spring rolls, and the chicken curry. For desert I had the fried bananas. The waitress explained that everything is made from scratch and cooked when ordered so there might be a little wait time, but I wasn’t in a hurry. It was definitely worth the wait! The mild chicken curry had just enough heat, nothing overwhelming, and the chicken satay was hands down my favorite. I can’t wait to go back and try some more.

The food is so good, we went back the following night and ordered the same exact thing. We had the fried basil rice with chicken and pineapple. We also had their fried chicken in garlic sauce from the appetizer menu. Our spice level for the food was a #2. It was all delicious. This is our new takeout place. We'll keep showing up as long as the food stays consistently good.

You know it’s unfortunate bc the food was actually quite tasty but the customer service just wasn’t there today I guess. Here’s my experience: I called in an order for a lunch special and when I arrived I was told I have to spend at least $15 to use my card. Now, this is something that the person over the phone (who took my order) could have easily and quickly said to me on the phone. For ex: “by the way, our minimum for card purchase is $15. Otherwise it’s cash” Additionally, when I went inside, I had some questions because my meal looked as though it was smaller in portion. The staff informed me that the lunch special came with a salad—and that’s fine, but it’s also something that should have been stated over the phone as the menu doesn’t state it comes with a salad. I honestly would have gotten the regular meal. It’s literally a $1 difference These are quick things that could have been addressed on the phone. And in the future, you guys could smile more. It’s more inviting and friendly. Anyway it sucks because I walked in happy and walked out disappointed 🤷🏻‍♀️

Delicious and authentic Thai food. Highly recommend the Tom Yum soup and the Pad Med Ma Muang. Loved eating here so much and so did my wife and daughter who are both Thai.

In my times going to the place I’ve been greeted by an older gentleman who was very polite and kind. Their yellow curry is a reoccurring dish I enjoy.

The best Thai spot in town! Great lunch specials and good sized portions. My favorite entrée is the Basil Fried Rice with Duck. I always pay the up charge for the Red Rice since this is the only restaurant that I know that has it. The spring rolls are fresh and delicious. Love this place!

I try a different dish every time and I keep coming back for more. I like that they have various protein options for many of their dishes. You are always greeted with a smile and the restaurant is always clean. Warm and cozy environment. Ample parking.

This place is always closed. How do they make any money? 6:30pm on a Sunday and they're closed? 🤦‍♀️

Best drunken noodles (pad kae mao) I've ever had!!! I get it with the Thai sausage and have never had anything like it, so delicious! I've been here 3 times and the pad kae mao is consistently amazing, but it's so good I haven't tried anything else yet. My husband said the fried rice was the best he's ever had, and he gets that everywhere (and is picky) so that's quite the compliment. I highly recommend Thai Palace!

This place has the worst drunken noodles now it used to be so good, but now it’s oily and overly sweet. What happened to the old recipe? Please do better because this was so terrible and I would never be going there again.

Went to the restaurant 2 times.... when we wanted to pay the 2nd time, the waiter reminded us for tips. Since service wasn't that good, i was reluctant to go give tips. Anyway, i told him off, you are just pushing customer away and he mentioned he is fine with it. Very rude... not going there anymore...

Stopping by for lunch after a hike nearby. We had couple appetizers - Coconut Shrimp, fish cakes and barbecue pork, and thai Coconut soup. They were all very nice, especially the BBQ pork. (It was marinated perfectly. The meat was tender and juicy.) The Thai Palace duck-noodles dish which we ordered was nicely seasoned as well. Recommended to be served with a bit of spices which were served on the side. It went very well together. Save some room for dessert! We had a Fried cheesecake à la mode. It was so gooooooooooood. Must try! We'll be back soon. And thank you, Thai Palace, for a lovely, friendly and attentive hospitality.

Second time trying Thai food in CT. First time was at Seven Moons in Berlin CT and it was outstanding, spicy but flavorful and fresh. Unfortunately I did not walk away with same feeling at Thai Palace. I kept driving by this location and wanted to try local establishment. First appearances is that the place is old and out dated. But I never judge a book by its cover and the reviews on Google all spoke highly. Service is very slow, only one person doing everything. But the person was friendly and accommodating. Food was not the same freshness as the other Thai restaurant I had been to. Food tasted “off” can’t put my finger on what it was but the Pad Thai was not something we finished. The other food was just ok but potato’s were not cooked all the way. Total bill for two people $60 so it is not inexpensive. Based on reviews I will assume this was an off night and will probably try one more time. Otherwise I will travel a little bit further for Thai food.

Amazing Thai food! Always fresh. Having visited Thailand , this food is so authentic and spicy. Love the panang curry and pad see yew. The fried chicken wings are excellent. Family owned and operated. Nice place to dine in too

This was a random spot that the hubby and I wanted to go a few years, and today we were finally able to try it. It was laid back atmosphere, very comfy with tradition asian artwork around the restaurant. We ordered the steam dumplings (chicken and shrimp), extra spicy chicken pad thai, and chicken pad see ew. Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection. This restaurant was worth the wait.

The vegan Pad See Ew was the best I have ever had. The portion was HUGE and could feed almost three. The owner and his son were gracious and generous. You must dine there!

This place never disappoints, I've since moved a couple towns over and still order from them whenever possible!

They're only doing tqkeout right now. I respect that. The service was great the guy spoke to me about his preference (because yellow curry is my favorite, but I also love pad so needed to know what they do better). I had duck pad Thai. For me it was slightly above average. I have certainly paid more and had worse for it. Portion was huge, i shouldn't have finished it because now I dont want to go back to work, I just want a beer and a nap. Came with q salad that was so so but unexpected. Peanut sauce on my salad was obviously house made. I could have eaten that with a spoon it was so good. I would recommend.

Best Thai place in CT by far! My husband (Dave) and I are regulars here! The entire staff is friendly and attentive and the food is incredible. We literally go here at least once a week! When we call to get take out the young girl knows our order by heart lol. Thai iced coffees and fried dumplings in the mixed app for 2, green curry with duck and Tom Yum Soup with beef are some of our favorites!

We love this place. Nicky, the female head chef, is an absolute magician. Her duck noodle soup is unmatched anywhere. My friend and I come here just for that, and frequently. We are always provided great service, with the small exception of one of their servers who appears to speak very very very little English. No matter, I applaud them for trying to help struggling newcomers to the country. The management seems on point with everything, and they are very attentive and quick to clean up your table. They are also very accommodating of special requests, and tailor your level of spice very precisely to your preferences. I hope that they continue to thrive in this location for many years to come!

This restaurant hands-down did not disappoint. Large portions, excellent service, reasonable pricing, and a relaxed atmosphere! A true hidden gem in The brass City! A must try!

I've been here a few times now, and every time it feels fantastic. The atmosphere, the ambiance it really makes you feel at home. The owners are incredibly welcoming as well, often shaking your hand on the way in or out. The food is fantastic and I've always been pleased with how things are cooked and how expertly they're spiced! Will absolutely keep coming back here for date nights! Oh and BOYB!

Pad khing with shrimp. GREAT! Color, texture, taste! Ginger and spices flavors harmonize with the vegetables and the shrimp. The light sauce cannot be left on the plate!

Hidden gem on Wolcott/Waterbury line. Drove by this place many times because I thought I couldn't find good Thai food in this area. I was wrong! It's authentic for sure. The dinning room is nice and cozy and great for a small party. It almost feels like you are eating at the owner's own living room. As you can see from many of my reviews I don't give many 4 or 5 stars. This place is like a 3.9. It's just missing a little something to get it to 4. Amazing food!! I've tried Thai food from various cities here in CT, this place holds up and offers a great alternative to the usual here in Waterbury. Friendly service in a nice venue. Definitely an underrated place I hope more people give Thai Palace a try.

Salad with peanut sause was amazing. I saved the peanut sause and used it on steamed dumplings. I received more when she realized how much I liked it. Water upon sitting down. We ordered Thai ice tea and my husband had the chicken soup. Everything was amazing! The drunken noodle (pad kee mao) was delicious. Right amount of spice to clear you out :) Fast and friendly service. Was nice to have suggestions on sause and spice mixture. Will be back!

We were coming through from out of state and decided to stop based on their Google review. It was definitely worth it. It was very obvious that their ingredients are fresh like it is stated on their online menu. Tom welcomed us and was friendly enough to also suggest a place for breakfast. I have Celiac's Disease and the woman who took my order was very confident in helping me find a meal that was safe. I got the chicken pad thai and my BF got the panang curry. We were both extremely satisfied. Thanks Thai Palace!

Best Thai Food in NV in my opinion.

The food is awesome. The service even better. The USAF DET 4 SECURITY SERVICE holds their annual Reunion luncheon and we are really treated like royalty.

I would be so bold as to say this is my favorite restaurant, period... The small dining room is nicely decorated and as inviting as the staff and owners. I actually had a problem with my debit card one night and could not pay my bill, I believe it was the owner who allowed me to come back the next day when I was able to get the cash to square up on my bill...Just very friendly nice people who care about the business they're running and it shows . While I don't consider myself a food critic by any means, I have had my share of Thai food, and it's one of my favorite cuisines...That being said, Thai Palace is the best I've had... Everything is always fresh and delicious, bursting with flavor and meats and everything else cooked to perfection... Whether you've never tried duck or love good duck I highly recommend it at Thai Palace, I always get it in my entrée and it's always amazing, crispy skin and moist and delicious without being greasy. This is the type of food that always leaves you feeling full and content but not weighed down and bloated from eating additives and premade junk you get at most restaurants. Prices are really reasonable for the level of quality as well...I like to try new places, but for Thai I am nervous to even eat anywhere else because I am almost certain I'll be disappointed by comparison and end up with a bill that will definitely be higher. If you've never been here, do yourself a favor and try Thai Palace. I'm going tonight with my girlfriend and will be dreaming about it until we we get there! Haha. Two thumbs up with a smile.

Omg the pineapple fried rice is to DIE for. Everytime I'm in town I order it. So good... so hungry. Anyways it's a must have!! Super spicy if you ask for it.

Best thai food in CT. All of the curries are exceptional. I feel bad that it's never busy because it is definitely a hidden gem. They need to get a better, more readable sign on the street and invest in some social media/digital marketing.

In my opinion, the ONLY Thai restaurant to go to. Not only is the food fresh and hot every single time, but I also haven't tried something on the menu I didn't enjoy. The owners Mike and Nikki make a point to greet every one of their customers and will accommodate anyone. With great service and great food, why not give it a ahot?!

I *LOVE* Thai Palace's food! My family always gets take out and never has actually dined there so I'm not 100% sure of the service but during the take out process they are SUPER friendly, the food is always hot and ready when I get there. C3 w/ Chicken. My favorite. Delicious!
