We love scones ( lemon raspberry, waffle, blackberry white chocolate) and cookies ( salted caramel, junkyard , double chocolate)from the bakery. Have tried ordering a cake for a birthday party. It was delicious and the decoration for the cake was exactly what we asked for. Do recommend placing an order for cake a week or 2 before.

Love that this place uses simple ingredients without preservatives and artificial flavorings. If they could take it a step further and provide the nutrition facts, they would get all my praises because it’s so uncommon but should be the standard in my opinion. Tried the Peach Butterscotch Scone ($3.99), and it was delicious. Crumbly on the outside with a nice bite but very moist and soft on the inside and not too sweet. I tasted more butterscotch than peach, but I still enjoyed it. Small parking lot out back but very spacious inside, with tables and a reading nook.

This is, by far, the best bakery I've ever been to. The Belgian waffle scone was nutty, great texture, and the perfect level of sweetness without overdoing it! Highly recommended.

Great local spot - everything we've tried here has been delicious. Amazing scones and breakfast pastries, and the rotating coffee menu is also always great. Great for either take out or dine in, love coming here!

It's a bit pricy, as to be expected with a small business but the food is genuinely good. The seasonal treats and drinks are super tasty! If you're looking for something really good, I'd recommend their Lavender Lemonade. The workers are really nice and the place is nice and cozy.

One of the best bakeries around the area. They offer a variety of baked goods. I particularly like their scones, carrot cake and brownie. The scones are not too sweet and they offer many different flavors. The carrot cake always hits the spot. It is moist and delicious. The brownie is probably the most chocolatey brownie I've had. Overall, I definitely recommend The Alchemist Bakery.

Great spot! There’s a fun reading nook for the young ones too. Some favorites of ours are the salted caramel cookies, raspberry bar and the Nutella rugallah.

I read a review online that this was really clean and good baked goods. Stop by and love the place. There are tables and chairs to sit and work. Good place to have a coffee and work a little bit. The pastries are amazing. Scones are out of this world and the chocolate chip cookie was amazing. Really good vibes. Great people behind the counter I really love this place.

The Alchemist is a delightful bakery with super yummy treats. The quality is consistently top notch. My favorites are the cookies, especially the snickerdoodles. They're always fresh and just the right amount of soft and sweet.

What an incredible experience! I hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner. Ambreen Hasan walked me through the desired dessert menu, and gave me fabulous suggestions. In the end I told her to use her judgement. She came through with a fabulous selection of sweets and treats, and delivered to the venue on time. Every Saturday morning, I take my son to gymnastics and then dash to the Alchemist Baker. Great coffee, excellent pastries, and good service. I sit there for an hour planning my priorities for the week while I enjoy a couple of coffees and at least one, sometimes two, pastries. Love this spot.

What a great bakery! The scones are delicious, the coffee is great, the cookies and other baked goods look incredibly tempting (I haven't tried them yet, which has required a lot of self control) and everyone is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

At 7:30 in the morning, I purchased 5 slices of coffee cake and one oatmeal cran- raisin cookie. All stale!! Oh if you want muffins, they are a special order. Very disappointing

Everything at this bakery is delicious. Highly recommend the Nutella rugelach, scones and brownies! Would recommend you take a detour to stop at the cute bakery for delicious bake goods, enjoy a cup of coffee with it and chat with the friendly staff!

So many tasty treats but my favorite are the scones!

Delicious baked goods and very warm and friendly atmosphere. The proprietor/owner is very welcoming and gracious.

Fantastic ambiance, friendly staff, adorable place, and great selection of treats. The cookies were phenomenal! I also tried a lemon bar, which was great. The one thing I didn’t like was the cake balls. They were legit gross to me. They were dry and the flavors were off.

Wonderful bakery for both GF and non-GF options. The owner is incredibly kind and is open to making all kinds of interesting and new treats! I recommend the GF chocolate chip cookie, the blueberry scone and the chocolate mousse cup. The photo below is of the GF choc chip cookie. Best one I’ve ever had!

So, I really wanted to surprise my husband with a lovely cake on behalf of his daughter with whom he was celebrating the bday after a long time. The owner was pretty nice in planning the cake and understanding the emotion but when I saw the cake I was firstly disappointed; had ordered a chocolate mousse cake with chocolate icing but didnt get that. I was fine with it as the look of cake was good. After cutting the cake was absolutely disappointed; there was chocolate mousse but only in the middle half of the cake and I keep calling it cake where it was only buttercream icing layers and hardly cake. Felt like we were eating only and only the buttercream and not the cake. I was happy that I had found a good baker close to my place but after this utterly disappointment I would never order again.

Cute bakery! I got the peanut butter cookie and the caramel chocolate one. Both were very good! Please consider adding flaky salt to the caramel chocolate cookie :) Will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area

Birthday cake was not what we ordered and completely disappointing - especially for price - and the “apology” from the owner left much to be desired. My mother ordered a marble cake with chocolate frosting in between the layers with a T-Rex design for my son’s birthday. I opened the box at the store and was shocked at how unprofessional the cake looked. The handwriting was messy, the dinosaur didn’t come close to resembling a T-rex, and the cake was not symmetrical. The photo is the picture I took in the store. You can clearly see it is uneven. Once cutting into the cake, it was apparent that the cake was burnt. I now believe that the cake was uneven because the baker tried to cut off the burnt pieces. When a kid tried a slice of the cake, they said it was gross and tasted like coffee. Sure enough, the chocolate filling was definitely more coffee flavored than chocolate. My mom called to complain about the many issues, and her complaints were largely disregarded. The baker even claimed that the cake must have gotten lopsided when being transported. We would have been better off getting a cake from Shaw’s. Based on our experience, the baker is neither a skilled baker nor a cake decorator.

Love this place. My six year old adores coming here, everyone is so friendly, the cake pops are his favorite. We also ordered a pecan pie for Thanksgiving this year and it was amazing. Tasted just like homemade. So nice to have a great, local bakery.

We pre-ordered a special dessert tart for Thanksgiving and it was amazing (and gone in 5 minutes)! It was ready for pick up and definitely stress free:) A crispy crust filled with coffee custard and topped with a layer of dark chocolate ganache dusted with sea salt and edible gold dust, piped with fresh cream. It was as delicious as it looked because I didn't even get a chance to take more than one photo...everyone dived in! It easily fed 10 at TG dinner although SOME people had two slices... We are big fans of this little bakery: Ambreen cares so much about her customers and her luscious baked goods; it shows in every bite. Almond croissants and the rugelah are my favorites but everything is excellent and do yourself a favor, get a hot specialty latte like a London Fog, you can thank me later 😉 Also it feels good to support local, hsndmade and women owned. We will pre-order again!

How can you not love something inspired by the greatest book of all time? The cutest little bakery. The coconut macaroon is amazing and the staff is so sweet. Kid friendly and just overall a cute gem.

All the pastries are fresh from the oven, baked right there! The wonderful baker is most of the times present. Cakes (yummy!) are sold also by the slice or can be ordered for special occasions. The variety of pastries and the scones are worth the try. Every one of them! Stay and have coffee or tea or take out. Warm and welcoming staff. The place is cozy and clean. Never been dissatisfied

Excellent experience. Ordered a 10 inch custom cake a week out for my husband's birthday. Ambreen created a masterpiece of his favorite ingredients- chocolate cake, real chocolate mousse, salted caramel, and ganache. The result was delicious, rich, decadent, yet somehow not overly sweet. Our family was super impressed and hubs was more than happy. Other details adding to our experience: friendly owner and staff, ready on time and well wrapped for transportation. Their regular pastries are delicious and freshly made as well. Great place to enjoy such quality desserts.

A great place to find the most amazing and delicious baked goods. It has friendly environment where you can relax with a cup of coffee. It's a beautiful bakery in Canton, MA.

Limited selection -- standard Starbucks, convenience store like selections. No air conditioner. I doubt they are likely to survive but I really hope they can turn it around.

AMAZING. Best best best carrot cake ever. I was throwing a party for my daughter's birthday, and wanted to do "themed" cookies and get a delicious cake. I had heard good things about The Alchemist Baker. Ambreen let me send her "inspiration" pics of cookies and we discussed what would be doable. When I picked up the cookies and cake, I was blownnn away. The cookies looked wayy better than I had imagined. They were perfect. They are Pinterest-worthy. The cake looked delicious too, and was massive. At the party, everyone was obsessed with the cake. It was the best carrot cake I have ever had (and I am a carrot cake connoisseur), and there was none left after the party. The cookies were amazing too! I don't have high hopes for sugar cookies but these had far exceeded my expectations. I got a few texts after the party about how good they were. So: Taste: 10/10 Service: 10/10 (Ambreen was so nice and collaborative) Price: Totally reasonable. I am so happy to have them in Canton and plan to go back this weekend to try new treats. Biggest fan of the Alchemist Baker and highly recommend

I was happy to see a bakery open close to my home. I stepped into their store once a few weeks back to get a couple of cookies, and my family really enjoyed them. I got to know they take custom orders for cakes from their website. I had recently ordered a 8" cake with chocolate and raspberry flavours for my wife's birthday. I spoke with Ambreen and told her the flavour profile I was interested in. She understood my requirements clearly while answering a lot of my questions patiently. I had placed the order a day before when I wanted it and she had it done as promised on short notice. About the cake - I must say, she knocked it out of the park! It was beautiful to look at, the flavour was perfect, and more importantly, my wife enjoyed the cake very much! I highly recommend Alchemist Baker for your sweet tooth cravings!

This is such a lovely place to walk to. I go with my partner at least once a week. My favorite part about this bakery is that the flavors are always changing! I get a scone almost every time, and they are flawless every time. So happy this wonderful little place is part of my neighborhood!

This was my first visit to this gem of a bakery. I brought home 6 different items for my wife and I to try. I will just say if there is a better bakery out there then it must be quite unreal. I will be back very soon to this fabulous and scrumptious bakery😀

This is the best bakery I’ve been to in years. The first thing that hits you when you walk in are those delicious, yummy fresh-baked scents when you walk in the door, and then you realize that since it’s on a corner with huge windows, it’s bright and light and cheerful—a first impression that’s amplified by the incredibly lovely people filling your order. And omg, the baked goods and drinks. The scones are better than any I’ve had, I causing those I’ve had in the UK, Ireland, NYC, France, etc. The cheesecake, the cookies, really, you can’t go wrong. And the mocha latte in particular is perfection. The only downside is how far away this place is…although, that’s probably the best thing for my waistline???

I was so excited to see a bakery opening within walking distance of my house, and now I go almost every weekend for something delicious! There are new flavors all the time, and I'm obsessed with the scones. They make classics like lemon poppy seed, blueberry, or something unexpected like a mango and sesame seed scone (it's so tasty)!! The coffee cake, cheesecake squares, lemon bars, cookies, coffee... Everything I've had has been so, so good. The staff is so sweet and kind as well!! I will definitely continue to treat myself to a delicious latte and baked goods here every week!

Finally visited today - I am so impressed!!! I am a little nuts about croissants (and bread generally) so I've been trying to find a local cafe with good croissants since I moved to the area a couple years ago. THIS IS IT! By far the best I've found. I also really loved their coffee and their ciabatta is incredible. Wow wow wow. You've definitely earned a loyal customer, thank you so much for opening in Canton.

Ordered a coffee cake, chocolate croissant, and some cookies and donuts, as well as a mocha latte, and it was all excellent. I recommend going in the morning, we went around 10 and the selection was a little more limited than expected. The latte was excellent. Service was also great. Will definitely be back. I really hope they do well, Canton is a tough market for new businesses, but they’re great.

I have been a big fan of The Alchemist Baker since the shop opened, for good and delicious reasons. If you can get there today, please do so. Peach Butterscotch Scones, and they are fantastic. A joy to have for breakfast, or second breakfast, or whenever. And if you want something more traditional for this time of year, they have Chocolate Peppermint Raspberry scones, and other choco-mint items, as well. So very, very good !

I was so excited when I heard a new bakery was opening in town, and boy, did they not dissapoint! All the freshly baked treats we tried so far have been amazing. I am not a big fan of scones, but their lemon poppy seed scone was absolutely delicious. They also make custom cakes; they made a beatiful and super delicious layer birthday cake 🎂 for us, with peanut butter and chocolate mousse filling and chocolate ganache frosting. The words "best cake I've had" have been heard while people went for seconds. Thank you The Alchemist Baker! We will be back for sure. 😊
