The food here is always so good! 😋 Hot fresh and quick! We came in 15 minutes before kitchen closed (felt bad but called ahead to make sure it was ok).. I had the french dip and he had the double burger 🍔 The fries were really good & The side salad was spring mix 👌 rather then the basic iceberg like other places.. yum 😋 Friendly staff and definitely will be be back!

Great food. Friendly service. Very clean restaurant and a good value too. Had a Monterey Chicken Sandwich - it was very good. Hot and delicious. Had an ice cold Big Nose IPA - mug was clean and cold too. Highly recommended as a great family restaurant and a great sports bar.

Brandi is the bomb! She is on top of everything no matter how busy. Depending on who cooking, I would say the food goes from 3 stars to 5.This is the place to watch football!

This restaurant has been a “go to” place for my fiancé and I for the past several years. This evening, again we were reminded of how poorly run this establishment has become. As we were eating our meals we watched as a family of three sit down at a table across from ours. About 5 minutes later a waitress excused them from the restaurant at 9:13 pm stating they were closing in 3 minutes. The door has a sign that says they close at 10 pm. These customers were obviously angered by this and as they were walking out the door they shared with a couple that was coming in the door that the restaurant was closing in 3 minutes. Mind you, there was an additional 7 customers still drinking and having a good time at the bar. Your customers have chosen to take time to dine at your establishment. Where is it that a business can afford to turn away customers and be so disrespectful of their time?

Food is a bit greasy but tastes good. The service was awesome

This was my first time ordering from here and was very disappointed. We order a chicken salad and a Philly cheesesteak. Very easy orders to fill. The salad was sad. Could have been a lot more of everything. It looked like they didn’t want to make new prep and used the last of whatever was at the bottom of the containers. Now, the Philly is the worst I have ever had. The bread was completely soaked from grease and just fell apart into mush. And it had no flavor other than grease. I literally dump the meat out onto paper towels thinking I could just maybe have the meat and lil bits of veggies but I couldn’t even do that. I ordered the onion rings for the side and they were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Either the cook is new or is very lazy. He/she needs to clean the grill before and after every order and the oil needs to be changed desperately and the heat turned down a bit. I hope that this review helps anyone from wasting there money. I will definitely not be ordering from here again and I hope I hear back from the email I sent about a refund because I tried calling multiple times and it just rang forever.

The oil our food was cooked in was old. The servings were lousy. Got 2 different cheesesteaks, and both of them tasted like they were cooked with activated charcoal as a seasoning.

The bartender was great. Very attentive. Food was AMAZING. I love the white queso. Couple customers are going to it about politics. Restaurant can't avoid this issue.

Our waitress was MIA we actually had to go up to the bar to get our own drink refills. She acted like we were a bother. Food was ok. Music was very loud during the 6pm dinner rush.

Came to this restaurant to try out for the first time. It was lunch and not real busy which was great. Sat at the bar waited for 7 mins before anyone even acknowledged me. Was given a menu but never returned to get my order. The bartender took a pen out as if she was and was right in front of me but started talking to a family who walked in and started to sit at a table. Followed by cashing out another table so I walked out. Not sure if I was ignored because I was the only “brown” person but definitely sticks out when others who just walk in were acknowledge and looked just like the rest of the patrons and staff. Can’t say how the food is but the service definitely could definitely use work.

The shores doesn't have much to offer but occasionally there is an Oasis in the desert! Always open , and always serving great food and drinks at good prices. Cheers!!

The staff was great but we were approached by a gentleman who stopped us from taking pics of the bar sign next to Jesus. We thought it was funny. We are 2 old ladies and I think he should have been more respectful.

Dugout is a sportbar that features a Hispanic and American style food. They are decently priced and have good service. Good place to bring kids or family for a quick bite. Some things on the menu are rather bland like the steak and queso bowl. I got the quesadillas with the tomatoes and spinach, it was delicious.

Oh my goodness one lousy BLT and a burger without bread it took them an hour and a half. No manager on sight or even a greeter. No one asked how was our food. People after us came in and were served before us. The worst service and the worst food.

Not sure if the server was new, but she was forgetful, not attentative and it took almost 40 minutes for a Ceaser salad. If I come it will be just me and the wife. I don't think they could handle big parties of 20.

Well asked for a Togo and we were told that they were not doing Togo that if I wanted something to come in. This is not acceptable as I am paying good hard earned money to this business, it’s just as easy to get them from somewhere else but thats not the point. I am very disappointed that you allow this type of answer to your guests. Just because I am not In Front of you doesn’t mean that I am less important.

We used to like this place, but we probably won’t be back. When we first moved to the area Dugout is the first local spot we ate at, as it is literally a 2 min walk from our house. We liked it at first, but it’s gotten pretty expensive for what it is and they started charging extra for everything - including lettuce, pickle, onion, and tomato for sandwiches which I think is absolutely ridiculous. At our most recent visit, our waitress made a few mistakes with our order, no problem she was nice about it and we were patient. But.. my husband’s lemon pepper wings were so salty I couldn’t even eat half of one and he could not finish 10 off them even after physically dusting off the seasoning. My Juan Epstein sandwich was okay, but as I said before, I asked for lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle “per request” as the menu stated and was up charged for them. By the way there were maybe 2 small slices of tomato, a couple shreds of lettuce, two small slivers onion, and no pickle to be found. When I realized she charged me for them, and I did not receive any pickle, I asked about it and was shrugged off. All that to say, two waters, 20 wings (on their special $1 wing night), and a sandwich with chips (not fries because that’s an upcharge) shouldn’t cost $46.. Especially with lack luster quality at best.

I left a 1 star review here about 3 years and never came back. I’ve been coming back these past two weeks and this place is awesome. Food is great and the beer is ice cold.

It's been a while since I've been here and now I see I won't be back. The food is still good, but they have joined the crowd of companies that charge you extra money if you want to pay by credit card. You also don't learn they do this till the end when your bill comes so you have no choice but to pay. The server will not even give you a heads up as they take your card from you. If they dont want customers that use credit cards, then tell them up front when they come in. Just..

I was starving by the time I stopped in The Dugout. Especially after having only one meal the whole day. Since I drive by the place at least twice a day, I thought that I would try it out. Within minutes of me walking in a server greeted me with a smile and took my order. I placed a to-go order to take dinner home to my family. We ordered the chicken tenders basket, the chicken wings basket, the Cubanos platter and the Cubanos taco platter. Including the tip, I spent about $75. The wait time was about the same as going to a fast food restaurant. I was quite surprised when the server brought the food out. The drive home was less than ten minutes. The food was still hot when my family and I sat down to eat. Everything was horrible! The chicken tenders were bland and tasted as if they weren't left in the fryer long enough. The honey barbeque sauce on the wings was also bland and watery. The rice that came with both the Cubanos platter and the Cubanos taco platter was half cooked. The pork had a strong vinegar taste. Nothing was palatable, much less edible. Wait. There was one thing that I ordered that was pretty mediocre, the French fries. My family and I ended up eating cold cereal for dinner. Did I go on a bad night?

Great local place to watch games with great food. Their wings are by far the best in the Ocala area. The service was awesome. There weren't many people in the building that night, but the staff made it feel like the place was packed with their energy. Con: Closes at 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. When the fun was just getting started, it was time to leave. I'm new to the area, so I'll have to adjust but an awesome establishment.

We went there for the first time and I love the atmosphere and the service was fantastic. The food well the appetizer sampler was good but over cooked. The batter was coming off everything and I got the sea food platter and the same thing. You could barely taste the fish cause of the burnt breading. And same with the onion rings. But we will be back cause the food was good and the service was outstanding. Oooo and the prices I can definitely live with

Awesome place for some great food and hangout for football.

Went twice this week and Becka was a good server. My complaint is they charge you a fee if you use a card and the cheeseburger comes with stale chips. Never again

Ordered the meatball sandwich. Meatballs were still cold/frozen when served. Had to go look for our waitress to let her know. She said gross. Really???? Ordered a burger which arrived all chopped up and falling off the bun. Received our bill which included the meatball sandwich which had been returned 😞

The chicken wings are excellent and great friendly service. Plenty of screens for the game. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the neighborhood.

The only place in the Shores to go out to eat. It will do. It's close to home.

Called to place order and they dont have 3 of the sandwiches on the menu so why bother to be open? This place has continued to go down in all areas for a few years now its just below acceptable standards covids over people get you .hit together or close up.

Been going on Wednesdays regularly for awhile, for trivia night. The service is excellent, the food is always fresh and delicious (I recommend the Juan Epstein sanwhich, which is a cross between a Ruban and a Cubano).

Our server Becca was the sweetest most kind attentive server. She is spot on with her service. Anything we needed... she was there. Food was great. Did I mention how amazing or server becca was? Definitely will be back!

Just dropped in for a quick drink on a Sunday. They were about to close. Around 8pm. Nothing fancy that's for sure . A bunch of outdated flat screens hanging all over the place. Didn't eat anything.

Very good food here and the cocktails are good it's a little too dark inside the restaurant for me and the staff is funny they like to have a good time

I love this place. The people who work here make it such a great atmosphere. The food is great. Drinks are always on point. Service is excellent. Rhonda is my favorite bartender. She’s so quick to make me smile and laugh every time I come in.

Waited over an hour for our food. Meanwhile we have to ask for refills while waiting for our food and while we're eating. Not busy at all. And no explanation was given for why it was taking so long.

Food here is hit or miss. Like the Philly steak egg rolls are AMAZING but the Epstein sandwich sucks. The quesadillas are ok, the Monterey chicken sandwich is HUGE, the wings are pretty good. Happy hour specials are great. Not a bad place for lunch or dinner and some beers.

Service is always hit and miss.. Even when some of our favorite and best waiter or waitress is there, there isn't much they can do when the kitchen staff or whoever are dragging their feet.. Wish we had better food choices here in the area and when we want a quick bite, . Under the right management this place could be awesome

First time here, been hearing about it for quite some time. Finally stopped in since I was going to check out the new Big Lots. Nice, quaint atmosphere with great music selection playing. Friendly staff and the burger was great (Thursday is the burger special day.) Go with their homemade chips too, a nice changeup from fries.

The food is hit and miss. Seriously the service suck. Prices are ridiculous 🙄. But to be able to meet up and hang with our friends and family, we'll deal with it until we find something better. And that really sucks, cause this place could really make some money with the right management 😕

They charge a 4% service fee for using charge/debit cards. Service was slow but friendly. Food left a lot to be desired. I had the Philly style cheese steak sandwich. The bun tasted stale and was left on the grill to long in an attempt to cover it up. The meat appeared to be something like steak-umm's and the quantity failed to cover the bun. Came with Dugout chips which were fresh cut potato chips cooked in old fry oil. My wife ordered the bacon BBQ burger, cooked medium with a side of fries. (1$ up charge). Burger was cooked well done and the fries were cooked in the old fry oil.

Parking lot filled with Patrons and FootBAll on at 1pm. Place is closed on NEW YEARS DAY . They lost out on a lot of business!

It was our 1st time here today. Service was friendly and prompt. Drinks were OK. Food was hit or miss. Some was super yummy, other stuff was under seasoned. Bathrooms were clean. Also keep in mind they charge a “service fee” of almost $4 if you don’t pay cash. We MIGHT give it another try, but not sure. Overall it was a good experience.

Hours are misleading. Hours said they close at 10pm. Got there at 8:45 and were told the kitchen closed at 8:30. This was after the staff wasn’t welcoming. Should correct the posted hours so people don’t waste their time coming to the restaurant just to be turned away.

Showed up on a Wednesday night and got to enjoy trivia! Wings were stellar. We all tried different sandwiches, burgers, and meals. No complaints from anyone in our party.

The food here is phenomenal! We got the house rub boneless wings with fries and chips with queso. All of it was absolutely addictive! Will come here again! House rub is unexplainable and the queso was surprisingly delicious. The Cajun spice fries were also very very good and I recommend it to anyone
