One of my favorite places in the morning. The staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is inviting. Favorites are the Blueberry Knoll, Spicy London Fog, and Alaska Chai. It is more expensive here but quality is emphasized.

The maple latte and açai bowl were exquisite. Great service, too!

Good, not great coffee. People are nice and helpful when making a decision on which coffee to try, if you aren't a stickler for a specific coffee. The acai bowls are fantastic, but other food options are limited to small baked goods, so if you have smaller picky eaters, then you may have to stop somewhere else for them.

A little too much effort towards a Portland vibe for me. More effort needed to clean up the tables and floors. The drink was good. The pastry flat and flavorless.

I highly recommend visiting this charming establishment for its wonderful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing, working, or catching up with friends.

The acaí bowls here are SO good, but unfortunately they are quite expensive. Over $10 for a small and over $15 for a large. For most, that's not approachable. The smoothies are just under $10.. they are good too.

I went to The Fern on the recommendation of a few friends, my wife, and coworkers. I had been looking for a good coffee shop to do homework at. The smoothie that I had and the bowl that I had were both delicious and healthy. The atmosphere was calm which I really need when I'm working on a paper. One thing that I really appreciated was the staff treating an unhoused man like a person. It was refreshing to see kindness rather than the disgust displayed at so many other establishments. They let him come in and warm up, gave him some coffee and generally were just pleasant. I will 100% be going back and recommending The Fern to everyone I know.

Acái bowl was perfect, wanted to try the whole menu. Lots of merchandise to shop as well. They have Acái bowl, juices and coffee. The seating area is a little small and crowded. Will be back again! 😀

The fern was a nice little place to get breakfast. I got a Palmer bowl and it was enough to fill me up. I believe got a 12oz. Tasted super delicious. Not overly sweet which I liked. I also order a bagel with cream cheese. A bit smaller than I was expecting but still good.

My bowl was excellent! Very fresh ingredients, the right amount of fruit and toppings to base ratio as well. I ordered the smallest size and it was perfect for me. Will definitely be coming back.

Having lots of experience eating acai bowls, these were the worst. Acai has no flavor and bad consistency, very little topping, tried them 2 just to be sure. Not going back, 10 buck each!

Their staff are professional and so so friendly! The environment was welcoming and extremely clean. We love stopping here whenever we're in the area. :)

In the hypothetical scenario of them establishing a store in Eagle River, I would willingly accept financial ruin due to my deep affection for The Fern. The açaí they serve here is of such high quality that it rivals the exceptional standards I encountered during my week-long trip to Hawaii. The only drawback I can note is the distance I must travel to indulge in their awesomeness. Nonetheless, the staff unfailingly provides excellent service and remains amiable, regardless of the day or time. I wholeheartedly relish each visit I make to this establishment!

Perfect little date spot. Also a really great place to treat yourself. The acai bowls are to live for, and I always get the reishi rising. Service is spectacular and you get to see the same familiar faces of the lovely people that are making that place thrive. I hope to see The Fern AK around for a long time. I hope even more to see them expand someday, no rush.

The coffee was good and the service was friendly. The selection of drinks is great. The only thing I didn't like was the scone. It was bland and had chunks of flour throughout like the batter hadn't been mixed thoroughly. Still recommend for the drinks, though.

Lovely shop! Coffee was great and the Acai bowl was yummy! I added peanut butter which I think is a must... simply because of the amount of fruit (sugar)!

Usually I have really good service, however today when I received my Açaí bowl they put the Nutella on top of the fruit, and then put the lid on. When I explained that doing it that way would mean I would have to scrap the lid to get my toppings off the young lady said it was human error and left it like that. No, I’m sorry we will remake it because of our mistake, just welp that was a human error. That’s not acceptable, if it was their error it should be theirs to remedy not mine to scrape my food off my lid.

Really liked the menu, food, service, and atmosphere. The prices were a little steep for what you get but the quality was on point. I'll go back and enjoy again but maybe not as frequently as I'd like because my budget...

The Fern AK has a beautiful, clean and inspiring atmosphere. It's a great place to work on writing or to hangout with friends. The smoothie bowls were delicious, fresh, and beautifully made. They offer a yummy variety of smoothie bowls as well as smoothies. I really adore the custom smoothie bowls because of all the fresh & fun ingredients and different combinations I can create. The smoothies are rich and delicious plus they have great add-ins like Collagen and Plant Protein. Price is great for what you get, and the staff is lovely and patient.

I found this spot while looking for a coffee shop stop while passing through Palmer. We had the solstice and glacier bowls and they were fresh, full of toppings so every bite has something, and so so so tasty! My cappuccino was made correctly, and my friend's seasonal latte was flavorful. Slightly disappointing that ordering to dine in means you're getting to-go containers without lids. I hope in the future they move towards reusable dishware. Not a ton of seating if you come at a peak time, good assortment of merch and chocolates available.

I mean it's got pretty good food, my sister really likes their açai bowls. Just feel like their coffee knowledge is somewhat lacking

First time with The Firn AK & I love it!!! I customized my smoothie bowl with the Pitaya base & added banana, goji berries, kiwi, oats, honey, and almond butter! So delicious!!! I wish they had a shop in Anchorage. The staff was friendly and amazing! The environment was clean and awesome! I’ll definitely visit again when I’m in Palmer. Highly recommend!

Super Yummy stuff packed with all the good-ns'!

Looked up this place on Google maps as "coffee near me". We ended of having Cacao and a smoothies bowl which were both AMAZING! However, the service and the people who worked there made the place even more perfect. They were all so friendly and informative. Good job guys! They have only been open since January 2022. Go see them - you won't regret it.

Good place for breakfast goodies!

The smoothie bowls are very good, and pack a lot more content into it than you would think. Shop is in a great location and has lots of natural light.

Drove into Palmer just to try this açaí bowl & smoothie bar! Easy to find, very clean & aesthetically pleasing with all the plants & lights fixtures. My sister & I got the Palmer bowls and they were a 12/10, I love that the açaí was thick and that they put granola on the bottom & on top of the bowl. The latte was also good as well! Definitely worth the drive out to Palmer & will be back!

This place blew away my expectations! Their flavor combinations are so good and the environment is so welcoming and warm.

Friendly staff and good cup of coffee. It’s one of these places that is too fufu for artificial sweeteners. Get some Splenda and I’ll give it 5 stars.

Absolutely delicious! We tried the Solstice Bowl, Fireweed Bowl, Glacier Bowl, Golden Sun Cocoa, 7 Mushroom Cocoa, and toasted marshmallow latte! Flavorful bowls are with smooth sweet fruit and crunchy granola bites!

Sweet Lord, Palmer sorely needed a spot like this - I have been stopping in regularly since they opened, and have not had anything but a great experience. Every bowl is amazing, the smoothies are great (THANK YOU for not making them sickeningly sweet), and don't forget the full coffee bar with some unique options. Best latte and cappuccino I've had in Palmer, it's the real deal if you're looking for high quality espresso that's been pulled well and milk that's steamed to silky perfection. Everyone is super rad, and the rewards system is generous. So happy they're here!!

Wow! I love The Fern so much and I’ve already visited 3 times since it’s opening (it’s been 3 weeks lol). These are THE BEST açaí bowls in The Valley hands down. I’ve tried a create your own bowl as well a Palmer bowl and both were beyond exceptional! The bowls are also AFFORDABLE! Compared to other açaí businesses in Alaska, I think their prices are the best. I’ve also tried their super green smoothie and YUM. Just sweet enough and over all delicious! When it comes to atmosphere, this is the best place in all The Valley! I can’t wait to bring my laptop and get some work done in a beautiful environment with some delicious açaí. Customer service is also phenomenal. Every worker I’ve had an interaction with has been nothing but sweet and accommodating! Definitely check this place out if you have the chance!

It's a cute smoothie bar and definitely something unique in the valley. The glacier bowl was good though missing in flavor, the cacao nibs are a no go for me they taste like cement rice crispies. The place itself is too small for the business they are bringing in. It's a good problem to have but there are only 3 tables, a bar and a small sitting area. It's not accomodating for any rush. They also were really disorganized when I was in there and made duplicates for some people while missing orders for others. The attitude of some of the employees was lackluster and they just look like they hated being there. For it being a calling out a name with your order kind of place, the music is too loud. Overall, the food was a 4.5 but the environment was really distracting.

Super neat addition to Palmer. I’ve never experienced a smoothie bowl before, so I definitely needed to check this place out. I really enjoyed the 10oz Solstice Bowl, it was very filling for one person, but next time I would add more granola to mine, as there is a lot of Açaí base leftover. I also ordered the Blood Orange Creamsicle & my mother the Blueberry Knoll. We personally weren’t sold on the flavor of them, as we just didn’t think they tasted very good (not sweet enough for us & the cacao is a no) However, the fruit was great along with the environment. Cute smoothie bar to check out.

Went to the soft opening and got a smoothie ABSOLUTELY FREAKING DELISH! I can’t wait to go back and try all the things on their menu! The inside is absolutely beautiful and would be the perfect spot to hold a meeting or enjoy treats with friends and family!

A breath of fresh air in Alaska. Cute for a casual date or to get some online work done. The greenery in there is so nice for winter. I got the solstice bowl and reshi cacao. The acai is thick and sorbet like, my favorite. Great flavors and they have paul staments host defense supplements here 🙌 highly recommend. Sweet staff and a great addition to Palmer.
