Pretty good food but lazy service . I hate that u can't call and do speak to anyone ever. It's to far of a drive to get there and they may be out ribs or something you have the taste for.. They use to post specials on fb and keep u updated but not very often anymore. I been clicking on the website for weeks but it just loads

Went here yesterday with my fiance for the first time! And I haven't stopped thinking about how good this food is! We both ordered the 3 meat plate w 2 sides. We got ribs, brisket, burnt ends, mac n cheese, cheesy potatoes, and cornbread. At $23 a plate its an awesome deal. This is by far the best damn BBQ we've had in the past 2-3 years. Dickies BBQ pit could never compare. Ribs were juicy and flavorful. Brisket was juicy and tender falling apart! Burnt ends were awesome and complemented the meal perfectly with the savory BBQ sauce. I see reviews saying the mac n cheese was bland etc. Definitely not. I have had worse mac n cheese at other places. Their mac n cheese is fire! Cheesy potatoes were just as good! Cornbread was amazing! Literally amazing cornbread. I can't believe how good this place is. My fiance and I travel all over the midwest, and we are from Chicago. We're used to good Chicagoland BBQ and we can never find good BBQ out this way. We couldn't be happier with our purchase. The only down side is they're closed on Sundays and Mondays. Of course we had to bless our taste buds with this food on a Saturday 🙄 and now we can't get anymore of this food until Tuesday! 🤣 Staying in town an extra 2 days just because we have to have more of this BBQ before we go home! Good job guys your awesome!

I love their new location; I look forward to seeing what they can do with it. (it is in the same building as Number 1 Chinese) The food is always good. Yesterday we got the burnt ends, and I think that is a favorite. I actually really enjoy their sides as well - especially the beans and cheesy potatoes. If you go and order a meal, here is a tip: When ringing up, ASK FOR SAUCE! If the lady forgets to give you the sauce even after asking, just remind her before leaving with your food.

Ohhh Brisket heaven! Really great homestyle food, simple picnic-style to go. The chocolate granola was super yummy also. Highly recommended!

Their food is great. If they have a special sausages, get it. They need to make the Cajun Andouille sausage and bean chili. One of the best things I have ever tasted.

Ive been to this place about 20 times now and the food has been the exact same every time….delicious! I get the 2 meat combo and it’s enough for 2-3 meals at $20. Great value and portions. They do a wonderful job! They also catered my Fantasy Football draft and it fed 16 fat guys easily for $250. Highly recommend these guys if you are craving some bbq and comfort food! I took time out of my day to write a review, which I hardly ever do just cause I Appreciate good food and good service these days.

I ordered just brisket no sides and burnt ends no side. Came out to $38 and change wow really. If I ordered the whole meal,would of been like $50 foods good,but if I want to pay that much. I would rather go to a restaurant and sit and and get all the sides. Has gotten to expensive, just like everything else I guess. Canceled order,walked out...WILL NOT RETURN.....

Great BBQ, wonderful smoky flavor! Love their chicken and pork, ribs are amazing! Little place that really does a great job catering and shares the bounty with those of us hankering for a good BBQ. Hours can change so pay attention. Great food at a fair price, try them out!

It was average food. It wasn't special taste wise, like I expected. Corn bread was dry, and the beans tasted like they came from a can. Coleslaw was lacking in flavor. Pulled chicken was alright. Maybe it was a fluke experience, but I expected more for a near five-star rating.

Delicious BBQ. Have used for catering as well as family dinners. Highly recommend.

1st time getting food from here and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. Everything was really great.

We stopped here on 11/26/23, 4:45 p.m. on our way home from a long day in Grand Rapids, and the only word that I could think of and the only word that keeps popping in my head is excellent. If you're in the area and you're in the mood for something delicious and moderately priced, then stop in and grab some delicious smoky goodness. They're take out only. Sorry, no dining in. Check out their Facebook page and give it a like. They're really on top of things, and they're constantly updating. If it gets any better than this, I've never had it, and I've eaten at a lot of specialty joints. I still want some sausage egg and cheese sausage (Hint, hint. Haha.) Beef Brisket Chili - full of flavor, beans, and big chunks of brisket. A nice, filling, hearty meal. No tortilla chips or crackers for this one...excellent. Loaded Mashed Potatoes - you could taste every single ingredient and probably the best potatoes I've ever had...excellent. The Beef and Cheddar Sausage - great flavor heavy on the smoke, which is not a bad thing. I really liked it. I only bought one link, but now i wish i had more...excellent. The Italian Wedding Soup - Erin really liked it. She wasn't planning on eating all of it last evening, but it was so good that she couldn't stop herself. I took a sip of the broth and it was really good. I may have to make some here at home...excellent.

This is a take out only bbq joint that’s been selling smoked products for a few years now but this is my first encounter. No pictures but here’s my take on the items I tried. The brisket was the equal to my previous number one choice in GR. It was smoky and moist, nice ring, with just the right fatty goodness in most slices. The slices were fresh for my order and cut just right. The ribs were had good smoke and were pretty good although I would prefer more rub. The sausage was jalopeno-cheddar and was less successful. I would not order again unless a more traditional variety is on offer. The burnt ends ok if a bit dry in some pieces. I’m not a big burnt end fan anyway. The cornbread served with each plate way too sweet for me. I tried the slaw too and found it creamy and crunchy. If you like bbq you’ll love this place.

Picked up a few ribeye steaks for grilling....they were excellent!

Brisket was tough and needed seasoning. Mac and cheese was bland at best. Potatoes were OK at best. Corn bread was good.

Ya know. Iv been coming here for yesrs and years and it’s always just the best. I work real hard these days and sure it can’t be an everyday thing but I feel my dollars well spent when I come here. Usualy can’t wait till I get home so they have a barrel for me to eat off of and I really enjoy it.

Good food! Had the grilled chicken sandwich combo for $15. Came with 2 sides. Baked beans and cheesy potatoes.

Finally a southern BBQ in the north. Classic order and go. Great bark on the burnt ends, nice and tender meat. Classic but still not your jar BBQ sauce. The mac and cheese could been the meal alone! The broccoli sald had flavor, sweet but savory with crunchy broccoli, fantastic. The corn bread was the cherry on top, crispy but yet moist. If they had jalapeño corn bread would order a whole pan of it!!! No need to order online or call in was in and out in less than 5 min.

To go food so plan to eat at home. Awesome broccoli salad and brisket

If you haven't tried their hot, open faced sandwiches or their seafood mac and cheese, you MUST! The seafood mac and cheese is loaded with seafood, including lots of lobster, and is so creamy and cheesy! It's absolutely amazing! If you haven't tried the sandwiches, they are like no other. My personal favorite is the brisket on rye, but my husbands is the turkey on white. I highly suggest you give this place a try, if you haven't already. We come from Wyoming for their food, because it's just that good! They definitely know what they are doing on the grill and in the kitchen! Check them out, there's a reason they are thriving! 👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼

For what you pay per meal and the amount of food included is a great deal! Amazing pulled pork and friendly service.. would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a good BBQ meal.

Best pulled pork in west Michigan by far. Good portions for the price too! But no sandwiches 😕, buns for a side maybe?

Bottom line: Good food, good value. A solid choice for take-out BBQ Pros: it's pretty good BBQ, the sides are what you'd expect, the portions are generous for BBQ, and I think their prices have them firmly very good value territory. Cons: you aren't sure if they are open for business or not, they don't take phone calls, it's not easy to tell if their premises are occupied or not, and the staff is a bit grouchy.

Ordered from them for a work luncheon. Everyone loved everything, but especially loved the corn bread and Mac and cheese they were the first things to go. Would highly recommend. Service was excellent and they are super friendly!

Our first time visiting and we were very pleased! The line was a few people long when we pulled in, but we were served very promptly. We ordered the chicken, pork and got a slab of ribs. Ordered the cheesy potatoes and coleslaw for sides. I can understand why they sell 60,000 pounds of cheesy potatoes a year! Coleslaw was very fresh tasting. Prices were very reasonable. We will definitely visit again!

Takeout only. Everything is prepared, you just order and take it. They make different brats daily. Meats include brisket, burnt ends, ribs, pulled chicken and pork, turkey and brats. Cheesey potatoes are our favorite side.

I love their food. Awesome cornbread, burnt ends, mac and cheese... I'm getting hungry just writing this review. One gripe though. If I'm told I can't go in without my mask on, fine. No problem. I'll wear it. But the guy cutting up my brisket should be too JS. This doesn't affect my review.

A mixed bag. Chicken thighs and sausage were delicious. Pulled pork very average, baked beans tasted like they came out of a can. Ribs were undercooked, meat was tough and flavorless.

We got a little bit of everything. Pick 3 was A LOT of food for the price. None of us were able to finish(4 adult guys). Burnt ends were my favorite.

This place is a hidden gem. Stopped by after driving past a few times and had great food that was reasonably priced. We got brisket and turkey along with some sides. The cornbread was delicious as were the meats. I would have taken a picture, but we ate it too fast.

From beginning to end Keith made my father's 80th birthday a hit! Ordering was easy he even helped with the amount of food for the total of guests. I could not have asked for more it was perfect just the way it was :)

Absolutely incredible barbeque everytime I go there. Freshly grilled, smokey, and delicious! Not as impressed with some of the frozen meats, but the cooked meats are always a smash hit!

This place is a Secret for the people of Comstock Park , Michigan they have the Best brisket , burnt ends and ribs around . If you are reading this you are probably already to late lol 😆 because the lady in front of me bought food for 50 people 2nd day in a row. Hurry while supplies last. Shop early for the 4th give the guys some time because some of this delicious meat takes 10-14 hours depending on size to cook.

They have the best beef tips, BBQ, and sides. Lobster mac and cheese is good as well.

Darn good and yummy smoked meats. We had smoked brisket, smoked turkey and smoked pulled pork takeout for a birthday dinner. It is meat heaven. Cornbread is sweet. Sauces are good, too. for sides, we like the cheesy potatoes and broccoli slaw.
