The single shot espresso was served in a 8-ounce paper cup which made drinking the coffee difficult. Of the 5 trays for baked goods not a single item was available. From a hygiene perspective, I would prefer if the people preparing my coffee were better groomed.

I come here 3 times week on my way to work. I think it’s the best coffee shop in Tampa. I haven’t not had one bad coffee. The girls there are great, they also remember your order which is nice. They have over 20 flavors of coffe with many sugar free. The atmosphere is very chill, you can do work in there. Today I tried to food (egg sandwich on Cuban toast ), just simply amazing. Cuban bread was toasted but soft and just sooo good with my coffee. The best cinnamon rolls

The cappuccino and pancake were good, but avocado toast quality was under my expectation.

I ordered a sandwich and iced tea. Decided to get 2 teas to go. I received 1 and waited as he help other customers. I finally received my second order and it was the wrong thing. Disappointed I took the correct tea and left.

Avocado Stack, Salmon Bagel, macadamia nut latte. Everything is great! Macadamia nut latte is my favorite and the best.

Great coffee. Nice atmosphere. Just the food needs a hint of salt.

The food is delicious and you can tell it's freshly made. My favorite coffee drink here is Cafe con Leche.

Dirty diner vibes. Floors were filthy. Staff is lackadaisical- eating at counter while serving customers. Food was tasteless. Old food microwaved?

The food and coffee are fantastic. Great portions, great prices. The atmosphere is pretty chill and the staff is some of the best around. The service is quick. Highly recommend this place.

First timer—ordered a hot vanilla latte and The Grind Bar (oats, honey, peanut butter, coconut, hemp seed, flax seed, craisins and chocolate chips). Heavenly combination.

I would've given this place 5 stars but I can't work there because the wifi is spotty at best. Most times I can't even load my email on their guest wifi... Other than that the food is good and it's never too loud in there.

Coffee was pretty good, service was fine, really like the atmosphere for sure though. Great place to vibe, def want another blueberry scone though lol

Got there at 11:45. Sat at the bar for almost 10 minutes and wasn't greeted. Asked for a menu and was left there for another 10 minutes and never came back to get my order. There were three girls working all chatting by the front register. Usually when you ask for a menu, you'd like to place an order eventually. Also editing to add, they weren't busy at all.

Found this cute little place searching for dog friendly breakfast. Like an upscale starbucks, great food choices freshly made, great coffee and drink choices. Found a table in a nice sunny spot on a chilly morning, ordered our food and drinks and it was brought out to our table Ina very short time, brought a dish of water for our dog also. Very friendly service. Enjoyed our breakfast and just had to go back in and get a few muffins and scones.

Very nice place chill vibe went on a Tuesday so I assume they would be busy on a weekend , love their music choice , enough seating for a family and food was very good.

Great environment and employees. Will come back to try other things. Felt nice hanging out here reading and journaling. Breakfast sandwich on biscuit was alright. I didn't like the iced coffee (maybe it was cold brew?). Threw that away and got a cafe con leche which was pretty good, a little too sweet.

I’ve been coming here somewhat infrequently for years, since they first opened. The food and coffee are always good, if not cheap. The atmosphere isn’t great if you don’t like crowds. The dining room is usually full, with nowhere to wait for your order. Whenever I go there’s a huddle of people awkwardly waiting for their order in the middle of the dining room/ around the bar. It’s also loud, with staff shouting out orders over people talking. I recommend ordering food to-go and finding a nice place outside to eat it. I wish the drive-thru was functional, I would be much more inclined to stop by for coffee if I didn’t have to go inside.

Get there early on weekends. Lovely neighborhood spot to grab coffee, tea, and a bite. The staff are always amazing!

I'm always on the hunt for local coffee shops when I travel. I'd rather support local businesses than go to Starbucks or Dunkin. Glad I found this place. Really cute spot, friendly staff, great coffee and breakfast options in a laid-back trendy setting. Will return.

The coffee was good and is very affordable. However, they do not have a clue what a Cuban toast is. I got half a slice with zero butter. Flavorless. They need to either take it off their menu or actually learn what a Cuban toast is. $3.85 for what I received is a scam. I paid $12 total for three of the saddest toasts to ever come to existence. Edit: Now I will definitely not be coming back ever. The owner replying pettily to place the blame on the customer instead of looking inward at how they train their humans is ridiculous. I never once mentioned the employees not being human (and they were very kind) and I get mistakes happen, but not missing butter on buttered toasts three times in a row. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with a condescending owner and go to Florida Bakery, Moony's Coffee, or Maikel's kitchen where they have an amazing and authentic Cuban toasts, amazing coffee, AND amazing customer service.

Insufficient service. Need a new system of giving people waited on and served stood in line over 22 minutes just to see how long we would have to wait before they took our order. Then many many many many many units before we were served.

First timer here.. Dark Roast coffee very weak. Breakfast potatoes had a really salty seasoning and undercooked. Bacon and cheese omelette was good/ ok.. 15.00 +. I wish I would’ve read reviews on the steak breakfast burrito & tried that..

First and foremost, this is a great place. I live in the neighborhood and visit frequently. They make a mean cappuccino and you truly cannot go wrong with any of their menu items- personally I am partial to the grits bowl, Philly breakfast wrap, and avocado toast on Cuban bread (make sure to ask for a side of their house made salsa). Today though, I went for breakfast and sat at the bar. Not 2 feet from where I was eating all the employees had their drinks/waterbottles sitting on the counter. Every few minutes someone would come up, bend down, and drink from a straw. Literally directly in front of my food. It was really off putting and not what I want to look at while eating. This aside, great place, great service, highly recommend.

The latte and breakfast was amazing! I got the grits and eggs breakfast. It was delicious. I will definitely be going back for breakfast, and I will have to bring my husband. I was hoping to make this a spot that I go to get work done. After being there for an hour, I was unable to load any website on my laptop or phone. I understand they had a lot of customers, but instead of going there every week to work and drink coffee, I will only be going there on special occasions. Despite this complaint, I would recommend there breakfast and coffee. Great service as well.

Smoothest and least acidic coffee I’ve ever had. Great flavor especially the vanilla latte and cafe con leche. Great teas This is the neighborhood coffee bar everyone should be able to enjoy and experience. If I could replicate this across the country while I travel I would in a heartbeat. They’ve gotten extremely busy and yet they always find a way for a smile and hello, banter, singing, and interact with the regulars. They keep it fun and light and the other regulars are a blast and all interact. They’re wonderful people 6 stars

This has quickly become our go-to coffee spot in Westchase. We love it - cute vibes, great staff. You've got to try their iced cookie butter cortado - it's a game changer! They also have lovely tea and grab-and-go bakery items! I'll be honest, ordering food has been hit or miss on the weekends. Sometimes it's quick, but there have been a couple of times where the wait stretched to over 30 minutes. My poor boyfriend even had to bail out once after waiting for a bagel 40+ minutes. We tend to stick to ordering coffee on the weekends because of this.

My family and I went to the Grind for lunch on 9/17. Four people ordered food and drinks and one could not find anything to eat, as they took her favorite flatbread off the menu. So she just ordered an Iced coffee and went to the burger place next door to buy a burger with fries. When the employees from the Grind saw that this only one person had something to eat from an outside place, they invited her to leave and stay outside, as they don’t allow food from other places inside their restaurant. Because we would not let her eat outside by herself, I asked them to let us stay inside, as 4 of 5 people had bought food from their place and it was 2pm and 91 degrees outside. But they did not change their minds, so we left. Whatever reasons this rule has, they shouldn’t be stronger than some common sense, tolerance, kindness and concern for the health and well-being of a family. You have lost a few customers.

Delicious breakfast sandwiches but they can be messy. I always get them to go so the potatoes end up soggy. But the flavor is amazing. I'm sure it would be much better if I ate it there.

Stopped in for a cup and study session. The grind has great prices, staff is very pleasant, welcoming and had some great R&B tunes playing. Comfortable setup with high top tables and booths in rear.

I love Grind! Recently moved to the Westchase area and Grind has been a staple for me and my husband. The prices can't be beat and the food is always really good and fresh! Highly recommend the breakfast burrito, so delicious. I don't know how they make their homemade salsa but I wish I could buy it in bulk and eat it with everything! Love their coffee and teas as well. The staff is super friendly and attentive!

hidden gem here is the cheese grits. it usually comes as part of a breakfast bowl, but I get it on its own, it is the BEST! If you like frapuccino style coffee, get the java freeze. SO GOOD

Barista forget to make coffee, we already finished eating the breakfast, and asked two times about coffee, than they are brought two wrong coffees.

Coffee is great and friendly service, the only thing I didn’t love was that the music is not family friendly at all. So just come sans kids.

Always a good experience the staff is great. The food was good and coffee is responsibly priced. The coffee was good I even grabbed a bag of beans which are good but probably wouldn’t get them again. Got some iced teas here and it was really watered down so bad I couldn’t taste the tea but I go back because it’s next to my work, cheap, and the cortado is my go to. Would definitely recommend checking this place out for the coffee and food.

Neighborhood cafe, located at Westchase, west Tampa area. There is indoor and outdoor sitting. There is a beautiful communal table inside which I love. I have been here numerous times, and always satisfied. If there is a wait it’s usually short and worth it. Open till 4 pm, weekdays open at 6 am and weekends 7 am. There is a special menu for weekends I. Addition to regular menu. Breakfast and coffee somewhere 10-20$ based on selections. I like Avocado stack ( bread, egg, avocado and diced tomato), and yogurt parfait. Friendly and respectful ownership and great staff. Kudos to Daniel 🙏🏼 my place to go, have food, relax listen to music and enjoy seeing staff and customers. Rain or shine 😁of course. I hope one of these days they will have an item with my name.👍🏼

If you are looking for a place to hang out on your laptop and work while having good food at your whim or multiple coffees or cappuccinos or other types of food like the eggs I ordered etc it's a wonderful place. I've never seen a place like this in my life It was actually perfect for what I was looking for what a find, what a gem!

Literally the best coffee I’ve ever had! I get the iced lavender latte almost every day. When I travel for work, I can never find the same quality at other coffee shops - especially in Los Angeles - as I do at the Grind. Moreover, every employee is friendly, helpful, kind and knows you (and your family) by name. Can’t recommend The Grind enough!

3 & a half stars if I could. The girl taking orders at the counter wasn't very friendly. (Morning of 12/15.) Looked like she hated her job. When I asked for a box for leftovers she just about threw it at me. Food was average. Atmosphere overtaken by people working on their laptops & taking up 2 seats at the counter to spread their work out, sipping on coffee. The place is too busy to allow that.

We are in Tampa for the weekend and decided to check out the Grind coffee bar and cafe! Definitely a place to try if you are in the area! My husband ordered a drink and it wasn’t what he thought and Kreaston was awesome and helped him find something that he loved! We are thankful for their kindness and hospitality!

Lunch was excellent; the caprese sandwich is not one to be missed. The staff is upbeat & friendly, just a laid back, welcoming atmosphere.

Great place for breakfast, however would have loved for the server to not have her clothes full of pet hair. 2 dog owner here, but when serving someone's food it's not acceptable

Coffe Latte was not hot enough. Ordered two of them They said that they cannot reheat it to hotter. O. J. Came with ice. There is a $1.00 upcharge with no ice. I spent over$50.00, and I'm disappointed. Bad Vibes.

Really bad experience with front desk person, be respectful with others it’s a good way to start as a local business , you don’t want to spend money in a place where the first point contact doesn’t respect people

OUTSTANDING place to go for breakfast. I love coming here for a cup of coffee and some of their lovely varieties of breakfast. Even for a good price, excellent chefs and baristas. One of my favorite places to go for breakfast.

I have a bone to pick with them. I ordered a iced Cafe con Leche with cookie butter, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since then. Starbucks just doesn't compare. Now I have to drive 30 minutes back there to get another

This bakery has great potential, but I believe they are not taking care of it as they should. Visited on Saturday the 16th of July. Waitresses in a bad mood, bad food and very expensive. The coffee tastes so bad. The avocado on my sandwich was green and hard. My daughter's pancake came raw and with only 3 chocolate chips. The cashier was the only kind person.

Cool place to have breakfast. Food taste and quality good. They have huge amount of coffee menu. I try Greek omelette it’s was tasty maybe little bit more feta cheese will work on it. Also I had pancakes. Was good. I recommend this place. Has good location
