I woke this morning thinking about Hibiscus food and they did not disappoint. The chicken was well seasoned and the pork was delicate. The combination of fried rice and the stir fry noodles is like no other. For those who like spice they have a tray with 3 flavorful pepper sauce to kick it up a noch. I can't wait to come back. 10 out of 10. 💯

Had it all, baigan choka, tomatoe choka, chicken Lomein, curry duck and geera pork all on one plate. They were all good.

Wanted to make it a perfect afternoon for my family but turned out to be a nightmare.. went to hibiscus restaurant the chicken was half cooked the rice was slimy the food over all was disgusting.. the calamari was the worst also the chicken wings was over seasoned. After leaving the restaurant I came home drinking water after water. Felt sick to my stomach.. I rate this restaurant from a scale to 1-10. A one. My family was unsatisfied.

I’m a local and Hibiscus is one of my favorite restaurants. They have best Guyanese Chinese food. The staff is friendly and I would definitely recommend.

First time there and I was loving the whole atmosphere. I ordered takeout so I can’t really leave a review about the food. So, when I taste the food I’ll be back to leave my honest opinion of the food. As I stated before, I would come back and review the food. The food was cooked to order and it was still hot when we returned home, about 15 minutes later. I enjoyed every bit of my food, down to the last bite. And I didn’t share with anyone. That should tell you a lot about how good it was. I wasn’t able to take pictures, from the first bite I couldn’t stop eating. So next time I’ll share pictures first.🍷❤️

I went to this establishment today and I ordered black pudding before I went. I called the restaurant and asked when it was made they said yesterday you know owners should really not try to lie to customers because people eat and they know when food is fresh and when it isn’t, she said the black pudding was made yesterday it was stale the rice was hard and it taste really bad so sad.i paid $35 dollars for still food. Even the rice that they gave me was hard to better. I’m so angry. I wanted to just throw it back into the store, but I’m a decent human.

Whenever we visit Florida, we always make sure we stop by The Hibiscus restaurant to have lunch or dinner. If you want that authentic Guyanese Chinese food, this is the spot. Delicious food, great service and friendly atmosphere. Really enjoyed the BBQ pork.

There’s a few customers that work hard as hell in still get paid 5$ a hr also the stoves they cook food on is also filthy they don’t clean behind themselves at all this restaurant is all out of order yea the food taste good but the material they cook on shouldn’t look like that back there

The Atmosphere seemed good enough. Those providing the service was unengaging as they provided very little information on what was on their menu. the food was a disappointment. It was heavy and didn't taste freshly done. It lacked the essential flavors that would make the food enjoyable.

Once you understand the Islands atmosphere, then you can appreciate the simplicity of this island restaurant

Food was EXCELLENT! Ordered the chicken & jumbo shrimp fried rice and curry goat with roti.... AH-MAZING! Service was great; Pam was so sweet and very kind & attentive. Will absolutely be coming back for more!!

The food looked good but it wasn't spectacular it was average or below average the atmosphere was good when I went playing Caribbean and Indian music this may have been because it was a Friday night.

It's very clean nice grid music vibes depicting the carribean culture and flavor. Certainly need more inviting customer service and an increase in staff

Besides the fact that the food is nasty, the servers are rude, and the place has been on dirty dining and shut down, the atmosphere is a blight on the surrounding neighborhood. Some moron parks his truck out front nearly every weekend (in the fire lane), opens all his doors, and blares his music, disturbing near by residences. The cops have been called out numerous times over the past year but the same moron keeps showing up. I hope this place gets shut down soon.

This place has gone downhill since they have a new owner I believe his name is Tim very rude guy save yourself and go to Joys roti shop way better food and service.

Five stars all around for this great establishment! Walked in and was greeted in less than five minutes after sitting down. Great drink deals. The food, wow. Came hungry, left happy. The music was great. Really enjoyed watching people dance to the Chunes(Tunes in West Indian Creolese) and I cannot wait to be at The Hibiscus again!

Great Guyanese stlye dishes, including Gt Chinese food and a well stocked bar. I had the Duck curry, and it was delicious to the bone. I definitely recommend Hibiscus for that authentic Guyanese food and experience.

Went there last night to listen to live Friday night music. As usual the noise there was way too much because everyone there had to talk over the loud obnoxious music. A real rumshop environment not a restaurant environment. We didn't have time to order any food because a fight broke out with bottle pelting, people pulling out guntk protect themselves and everyone had to run. We left asap just to be safe. Never ever going there again. Remember they were on dirty dining.

Ordered the General Tsao's and I have never before, in any mall food court, buffet, bar, or other restaurant, had to grab a paper towel to wretch this meal back into. Even the rice has a funny taste. You have been warned.

Order from Ravi. She's on point and notices a new customer when they walk in. Haven't eaten here yet but fast and professional service with her. She saved me from walking out just in time. I called ahead and ordered 4 roti skins. When I picked it up the server told me he only had 3 which was ok, then when I got home they had given me the buss up ones. NOT what I asked and paid for.👎

6 of us went for lunch today for my Dad’s 86th bday. Everything was tasty, fresh, and plentiful. Friendly staff and great service. They even played a birthday song for him and brought a slice of cake to celebrate his day. Everyone left happy and satisfied.

Took forever to get my food but the vibe was good and the waiter did compensate with a round on her... So she definitely made up for the wait. I had fried womtons and the house special... It was delish.

Great place to enjoy delicious food! Their menu is very full of different and amazing choices! They also have a bar so you can order your favorite drinks while enjoying your meal. Highly recommended! The food tasted fresh and delicious, the red pork meat was delicious!!!

Coworker suggested we try this place to break the monotony of places we keep going to. I ordered chicken in the ruff. First off upon picking up my order the food looked well portioned and good. The fried rice had flavor and I really didn't need to drawn this meal in sauce, although they gave 2 little packets of soy and duck sauce for 2 different meals?? Chicken was well cooked, I was not a fan of the cut though. I will be back so I'll ask for it to be cooked well. The skin was on the soggy side.

Had very delicious chicken chowmein, pepper shrimp, fried bangamarie. Friendly efficient service. Clean, spacious restaurant. Will be going back soon.

Raw meat (chicken & Beef) found thawing in the sun next to their dumpster. County inspection noted 47 violations. Previously ordered closed by the state. Hundreds of roaches found, even in the food. Made it to the investigative chanel 10. Will never ever eat here again. Nasty Guyanese people how can island people make news like this very disgusting sick to my stomach

Beware of this place- they were shut down by the health department for MULTIPLE violations, Made it to the dirty dining list. Check it out online. Why the hell would you keep chicken uncovered outside by the dumpster? Of course there’s going to be flies and other nasty stuff. I bet they wouldn’t eat it so why feed it to your PAYING customer. Disgusting and unethical!

Not sure what has happened to the quality of the food but it’s not as good as it used to be. Even the portion is less. The food used to be so tasty. I think that’s it for me. The service has always been bad that remains the same. Oh my just saw Tik Tok video on the health violations. So sad it was a good place to eat. Hope they get their act together.

This place was on the news for having a dirty restaurant. Chicken and meat left to thaw out by the back dumpster. Inspectors found over 100 roaches in their kitchen and even in their pepper sauce. Eat at your own risk!

Don't eat their health department found over 40 health violation roaches more than 50 even in the pepper sauce and chicken left in the heat outdoor for hours .

The service is excellent here. The food here is so good . The beef low mein is so good. I love it here. The service is outstanding and excellent.

Operating with expired license, stop sale issued due to roach found in pepper sauce, live roaches found, 20 dead roaches behind refrigerator, 50 dead roaches or more behind cooks table, raw chicken sitting outside and many other violations. The video is on local10news. I DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE BACK!

Food is pretty good. We went there often but recently the ambiance there does not suit dining in.The music is too loud and does not cater for the diverse group eating in there. The drinkers at the bar are way too loud and obnoxious. The women should have their hair all tied up in the kitchen and while serving. The food should be taken to the tables on trays. As it is, they hold the plate while their fingers go into the plate. I will certainly go back there if things change for the better.

Being from the North. I find down south it's hard to find good chinese food and pizza. This place is the closest I'll get to good tasting chinese food. Family friendly, clean and the food is good most days. Prices are decent as well. I come here often.
