They gave me a free drink for my birthday up to $10.00, and it was very good

Since I am now working in Kent stopping at the Human Bean is generally part of my morning routine. The staff is usually friendly and things are great. I've recently switched to sugar free and I don't notice a major difference in quality!

5 stars! Everytime I come here the service is quick & the employees are always so kind! I went today & was served by Austin, who is also super kind & always makes me feel welcome & creates such a warm atmosphere for customers!! Keep up the amazing work!!! :)

I absolutely love the staff at The Human Bean in Kent! My drink order is always delicious and they're all so friendly, even at 5 AM! :) My favorite new spot because of the smiles and consistency with coffees when I get the same order every day.

The Egg Nog latte here is so much better than the mermaid Cafe. My son loved the frozen hot chocolate. This place is amazing!

The coffee is decent but three times I have ordered the breakfast sandwich and it came out partially still frozen. When I showed it to the staff, they remade it but it is still disgusting and after three times I know they are not changing so I will go to Dunkin or Starbucks instead.

Worth replacing your current coffee with! The coffee is always delicious and is reasonably priced. App available to make scan and pay easy. Menu items for kids available as well as drinks. The line always moves quickly- staff behind the counter move quickly to get orders out and are literally always friendly.

Absolutely the best coffee around. So many different flavors, and they have protien drinks, smoothies, teas, and of course their coffee. Muffins, sandwiches , cookies and more. The Baristas are all super friendly and making sure everything is to your satisfaction.

Love this place! My go to is the Toasted Marshmallow Latte. The staff are always friendly and the coffee is to die for! My absolute go to before work.

PLEASE READ! I honestly would NOT recommend this coffee shop to anyone and would suggest going elsewhere. The employees are extremely rude and disrespectful & the drinks are never made right which is ridiculous for the amount of money it is. I’ve been coming to this location for several weeks now and the drinks have progressively gotten worse. I typically get the same drink each time and they are usually pretty good. The last couple times the drink was made completely wrong so I had to ask them to remake it and it turned out okay. This last visit on 8/10/23 around 1:00pm, i got the same drink that I always get. I had to have both of the girls remake it TWO separate times and it was STILL wrong. I politely asked what they made it with because it tasted like watered down coffee with no flavor at all. At this point I really just wanted my money back. I asked for the refund, and she came back asking me to pay another $5 and I proceeded to ask her if she was going to refund me instead of charging me more money??? She was so rude I was honestly shocked someone would talk to a customer with so much attitude. It took her at least 20 minutes to figure out how to even refund me in the first place. She did not even ask for my card back to refund the money nor did she give me proof that I would get my money back. All I was told was it would take 1-2 days for the money to go back into my account. Update: It’s been 2 days now (8/12/23) and I still haven’t gotten the money back so I went back to ask about it and ended up getting another drink. The same girl was there so I figured I’d give her the benefit of the doubt because I know people have bad days sometimes. She was EXTREMELY rude! Even worse than the first time. I watched her whisper something to the other girl working then they both looked at me, chuckled and rolled their eyes. I politely asked her about the refund and she literally gave me no information at all and refused to continue the conversation. She handed me my drink, and I asked her name. She ignored me the first time so I asked again and she claimed it was Deanna and slammed the window in my face before I could thank her and say have a great day. She was giving off high school bully vibes and that’s so unprofessional in my opinion. If I was the one who hired an employee like that I would be totally ashamed and embarrassed at the way they treated their customers. I will NOT be returning to this store ever again because of the way this girl belittled me and made feel like I was a burden for asking for the correct drink. I really hope this employee gets through whatever it is she is going through and learns how to properly treat customers in a respectful, kind, and professional manner. If not, maybe find a job that doesn’t require interacting with people. Getting that refund doesn’t look too promising…

Had to stop over at the UPS store and felts that ever present allure of a cup of bean juice, so I decided to pull through the drive-thru at the Human Bean. The menu was fairly simple and competent, I decided on a 20oz Hot Mocha. As I pulled around the staff I spoke with were friendly, conversational, and informative. After a brief interaction I was on my way with hot tasty Mocha, a tasty promotional breakfast sandwich and a little chocolate covered coffee bean to enjoy. Would definitely swing through again.

I love this company and highly recommend them but not this specific location. My experience here wasn’t the best. The employee taking my order cussed and made an inappropriate comment about me without realizing her headset was still on. Not to add she made my drink wrong twice. Her excuse was that she was talking on her phone and not to me which if that was the case she still did something very inappropriate. If it wasn’t for them not reaching back out or even trying to compensate me in anyway, I’d still be going to this location. I was told by the owner that he would look into it and also give me a discount and have yet to hear back! It’s been a couple months now since this happened.

Just moved to Kent, and my girlfriend is trying to get me to stop drinking energy drinks, so I’ve been looking for a good coffee spot, and now human bean is gonna be my go to just based on customer service alone. get that guy who was working the window in the early afternoon both today and yesterday a raise. y’all are great, keep up the good work

Friendly staff, willing to wait for you in the drive thru line, will answer any of your questions. We asked the cashier about how we could get a Human Bean sticker. He actually went in the back and showed us all the new and/or stickers that weren't already on display. How awesome that he went out of his way to show us more stickers! Ice coffee is good!

Every morning, I get a smootie before work. Wheather that be at GetGo, Starbies or Pulp. But this morning I wanted to try the Human Bean. I was blown away by great customer service, attractive advertisments on their windows and menu board and was given a card with a free drink offer if you download the app. I think I found my new smootie hub!! 💛

Decided to give this spot a try since its a new coffee place! I dont like that the menu online is different than the menu on their DT board. It was confusing and intimidating BUT the staff were really nice and patient. The coffee is so so, not sure id come here again but i like that they add the little coffee bean on all their drinks. Very cute and tasty!

Great local coffee, big fan of the options and the hours they are open. Had a nice peppermint mocha with my cigar at night.

Can't speak to their coffee, since I can't have it, but I tried a smoothie and was really impressed! Prices are very reasonable, too.

Keto? Diabetic? Low carb? Or simply looking for a fantasmicly (and yes that's a word) awesome new coffee joint to try, this is the place in Kent to give (or get) a shot. Of espresso of course! After watching this little bean of goodness being constructed, we couldn't wait to let our tastebuds loose on what was to come. Nervous to see if they had any sugar free options, we were delighted to find out that they have MANY! They were eager to help us make any of their drinks suitable to our needs. For the first time EVER, I was able to get a sugar free pumpkin spice iced latte. NOWHERE locally has ever been able to do that. THANK YOU! It was absolutely perfect. My partner had a cold brew with sugar free syrups and was just as delighted as me. Very friendly and smiley staff that made us feel welcome. Cannot wait to go back and try more! Just a note of warning: this is a brand new location and it will take them some time to get your items. Be patient and kind :) they will in return! It's worth the wait.

Tons of options for drinks. Good selection of easy on the go breakfast foods as well (breakfast sandwiches, muffins, bagels, biscottis, cookies, granola bars, etc.).
