Great homemade items jelly and some bake goods

Great stop on your trip to thru Keweenaw peninsula. Great baked goods, jams, jelly's, honey, etc.

A must stop for baked goods and jelly/jam. The wild blackberry jam is very good. The ginger cookies are awesome!

If you are a person who likes purses, and dates. In your bread. Then this is the spot for you. I’m not the kind of person , who likes that stuff in my bread. Jam.. they have lots of jam, all different kinds of jam, down to wine jam. I’ve never seen so many different kinds. It smelled absolutely amazing In there, but not my cup of tea

I would get the muffins every day if I lived by here.

Molasses cookies are a must. The lemon pound cake muffin was pretty good too.

The monks that live here, manufacture several varieties of jams and jellies including thimbleberry, which is only available here and in Maine. They also have several baked goods available for sale. I love this place, and especially like having conversations with the monks. This place was even on an episode of Uncharted with Gordon Ramsay.

Happen to stop by right when it opened. You can tell everything is homemade. The building is tiny so there is a line outside to get in. Once inside you have a wide range of items to get. We tried the peanut butter frog. It was good and you can tell it was homemade peanut butter. We bought two jars of jam (which have not been tried) A Carmel brownie, which was wonderful. a peanut butter coffee muffin (which I have also not tried yet). We did order and peanut butter and jelly bar and it was good. Honestly a lot better than I expected it to be.

Tiny shop operated by Byzantine monks to support themselves. Long line to get in the shop and shoulder to shoulder atmosphere inside so it's not really a place to browse...just grab your selections, pay the monk, and get out. Large selection of expensive jams, fruit cakes, muffins, and cookies to choose from. The baked goods we bought were good. The jam was given as a gift. Really wished there was more info available about the history/mission of the monastery but alas, it was just a retail operation.

This place is a must-see while in the area. We had the Cream Cheese Pound Cake Muffins. To die for! We return 2 days later to buy more.

JamPot is a must when we are in the UP. Jams and jellies are topnotch. Bakery items are delicious! Our favorite are molasses cookies and muffins!

This place is AWESOME!!! It’s a little pricey, but it’s sooooooo worth it! The jam here is amazing, and if you like things that are amazing…try the fresh caramel! I mean…honestly…it’s sooo fresh! The thimbleberry jam is the #1 must have purchase. Its a local berry up in the UP and has a unique flavor that is sweet and delicious! The next best is the strawberry jam, it really is hard to argue with the price of it. Thank you Jam Pot for a great experience! EAT THAT SMUCKERS!!!!!

if you use refined cane, sugar is not good for one to consume charter for the sugars to break down in your body should reconsider types of sugar that you’re using your wonderful jams and jealous

I spend $90 here happily. The butter smell just mess with my head and made me throw out my logical thoughts. Look there are many selections of jams and fruit butter and I do not even eat jams once a year. I can’t say no to fruit cakes and hope they are good. As for that muffin… no one needs eat but everyone wants it. The walnut cranberry banana muffin was out of this world. I ate it in 2 days. The almond cookies are not too sweet, I enjoyed it very much! Thank you! The monks are cashiers. They are so calm and affirming my bad decisions are still good for me. Hahahaha. Love the energy and smell in Jampot. Thank you.

There was a wait to get in good muffins jams of all flavors

This is a cute little bakery run by a monastery. Their baked goods are delicious. My favorites were the chocolate muffin with coffee frosting and the lemon pound cake. I bought two jars of home jams as well. It’s worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Wonderful homemade items from jams to breads to muffins and cookies! Purchases help to support the monastery. It's been a favorite of ours for over 30 years!

Service and atmosphere are great. Food is bland to poor in taste.

This is a very unique place to visit and you will often see monks working in the store or kitchen. It has become very busy and we had to wait in a line outside the store with about a dozen people for about 15 minutes before our turn to enter the store. It’s a very, very small store. We purchased wild rosehip jam, carrot cake muffins and my personal favorite were the ginger snaps. Worth a stop if you’re visiting copper harbor!

Cool shop with a large selection of breads and jams along with other baked goods. The prices are high but the quality is there.

Stay away from the Pumpkin Muffins & Apple Cake!! They were horrible🤢🤮!! The brownie was nasty also. The turtle chocolate & peanut butter frog wasn't too bad but still over priced. Will not be stopping again! This place is WAY overrated!!

It was good food, we got a muffin, jam,brownie, and cookies. A little pricy but neat to check out. We waited in line to be able to go in and we were there like 45 minutes after they opened. So be ready for a line.

No trip to the Copper Country in complete until you've visited the Jampot. I must must must get the ginormous monk muffin, (4). Don't forget the Thimbleberry jam. Plus everything else you're going to buy.....because, well, tomorrow. All the food is delicious and made fresh, with organic ingredients, and with LOVE!!!!!

Ridiculously good food and very reasonably priced. Great conversation with one of the monks at the front counter. Their molasses/ginger snap cookies are the best ever. We got two huge muffins, a package of their cookies, jam, and a bottle of maple sugar all for $28. We had to go back for more. Don’t miss this if you’re in the area.

This is a must stop if you are in the area. A very unique store featuring fresh baked goods, homemade jams, and other sweets. Run by Monks, this place offer an experience you won't get anywhere else. You'll find jams you've never tasted before, and probably won't find elsewhere. Selection is incredible! The secret is out though, so don't be surprised to find a line out the door! It is well worth the wait.

My great uncle named as Father Nicholas owned this place, before the last monk owner died from C19. I love this place, as i’ve been here all my life and I respect it. The jam pot is one of my family’s favorite spots. We also go to their church and are very welcomed. I would recommend the Oatmeal cookies. Their service is very nice and as a family member they still accept after the tragic death of my uncle.

These men gave up their lives for the Salvation of the world and have dedicated their lives to pray for us to turn to Christ. they are not professional Bakers. they never said they were. they are trying to make a living while adherence to God's laws. We need to support, love, and pray for our clergy, not insult them and punish them for the efforts they make. They are not Betty Crocker Martha Stewart or Emeril Lagasse they are Servants of Christ doing the best they can under the eyes of Christ. I'm going to be praying for the conversion of every single person who complained about a muffin or a brownie that somehow didn't reach their standard or because they felt that one of the monks wasn't as patient as kind as they felt they should have been. I'm going to pray for everyone to have a charitable and poor spirit. We all fall short of the glory of God. For the sake of a sorrowful passion have mercy on us and on the whole world. May you all read the Beatitudes and study them and understand what they mean.

This is a little bakery run by monks. They sell homemade, organic baked goods and jams. There's a nice seating area outside with picnic tables if you want to stay and eat. The parking lot is large, but the place is busy so plan accordingly. There is no public bathroom onsite. Jacobs Falls are located about 50 yards up the road. You can easily walk there and back.

This place was one of the coolest and tastiest parts of our trip. These muffins are some of the biggest and tastiest muffins I’ve ever had.

This place had a constant stream of folks ordering baked goods and such the times we visited... probably a testament to the quality of the goods and the excellent job these folks do sourcing ingredients. The fellow at the counter was most gracious and the thimbleberry jam is marvelous!

We have not visited The Jampot since 1988 when it was just the little green and white house. The baked goods and coffee were outstanding but if you're looking for icky sweet stuff, try other things because I don't think they use much sugar in the baked goods.

Oh the bakery and jellies!! So delicious!

Even though this little shop has blown up on social media it retains it's quaintness. Huge selection of jams and jellies and a select selection of pastries. The cream cheese muffin is not to be missed, it cannot be eaten in one sitting it's huge. The caramels are a sweet find. Be prepared for a small wait but it's not bad, the line moves fast. Don't pass this gem up.

Always the best place for fresh jams and fresh baked goods. I paid $6 per jar, don't let people scare you away with fake pricing!

This place is soooo awesome ! Worth the trip between Eagle River and Jacobs Falls , surrounded by beautiful woods . Featuring jams , jellies , baked goods , truffles , coffee and much more , all made fresh in the monastery kitchen by Holy Transfiguration Skete , a Catholic Monastery A must stop 🛑 We bought the thimbleberry jelly ( sweet and tart like a raspberry with a honey aftertaste ) ..it is a more expensive jam ( $25.00) but so very good ! Also got the strawberry rhubarb , raspberry and plum The almond cookies are great also ~ fresh and fluffy Very kind workers and the cutest place ever 🤗

Jam is top notch. It's expensive but things like thimbleberry jam are rare and very labor intensive. I didnt love any of the baked goods I got, just not my cup of tea I suppose. Highly recommend the jam though.

A quaint little bakery with lots of yummy treats to pick from. Jam, fruit cake, bread, caramel…just to name a few! Definitely worth the stop when up in the Keewenaw.

The Jampot has a lot of positive reviews and they may have fabulous baked goods but they don’t keep the business hours posted online. We cycled 21 miles from Copper Harbor, after checking Google and website for hours. We arrived to a sign that told us the bakery was closed today. Bummer.

A mandatory stop if you're in the area. Great bakery items and jams. We were here in early September and there were only a few people in line. And stop by the waterfall on the way out.

It's kinda cool, being run by the monks. We walked in, looked around and walked out. The prices are quite expensive for what comparable items would cost at other nearby places.

The baked goods are average, the chocolate is pretty good, and the jam is pretty good. Overall it's overrated but still worth a stop

The smell of this place makes you wanna keep coming back. Still the best muffins and baked goods in the world. The fruit breads have a bit of liquor in them but are delicious and last forever! The caramels are a staple to get as well as the chocolates. I didn't see the truffles last time I was there but remember them being really good. Every Jam I've gotten has been amazing. The biggest surprise was the grapefruit marmalade. Someday I'll try the lime ones but switch it up each time and try new ones. Be prepared to go back though because one trip is never enough.

My last time here was 40 yrs ago. It has grown and become a tourist attraction. We waited outside to get in to be able to purchase jams and Abbey cake.

What a great little place to visit in the UP. We have not tried the jams we bought yet but bought a large muffin (3 of us ate from it) and it was delicious! Expect long wait times if you hit it right but so worth it!

Very busy but always welcoming. Got there just after opening before long lines in small sales room. Great big muffins and cookies. Overpriced jam, especially thimble berry which is available for less at Gaslite general store in Copper Harbor. Would love to come to vespers sometime.

Super cute little store right next to a waterfall. We tried some of their baked goods and their jam. We got a blueberry banana muffin, peanut butter and jam, brownie, pumpkin cupcake, and a piece of homemade caramel Jamaican black cake, bread, and wild, blueberry jam. The store itself is very cute in the Monk that waited on us was very nice and very helpful. Unfortunately, we did not care for most of the items that we got hence the low rating.

Very good bakery that is run by Monks. You can find huge muffins to fruit cake to cookies to bread and jam there. We purchased a huge blueberry chocolate muffin that could be shared by 2-3 people; delicious cookies and delectably sweet jam that was the best. Cookies were great too. There is a very beautiful roadside waterfall right near Jampot that you could walk to. Anticipate a wait outdoors of around 15-20 minutes when you go. Definitely will be back for their homemade jam.

Absolutely delicious jam and muffins for a good cause. The line reached out the door within fifteen minutes of opening, but lake worth it. The line when we drove back past in the afternoon reached the parking lot. Plan accordingly and be patient!

Best Jams and blueberry juice out there.

Beautiful hidden location very popular tourist stop. Bakery items very limited so go early. Many varieties jams and jellies made on site, very pricey but worth the stop. Wonderful waterfall steps away from entrance for photos.

Huge variety of jams and preserves. Hard to pick just one, I wanted to try them all! They also sell pound cakes and a few other bakery items. If you're there during thimbleberry season, the parking lot is surrounded by bushes and if you get lucky and find a red one, it's ready to eat. You can only find them in the Keweenaw peninsula, so try it!

The Jampot is closed on Mondays! Homemade jam and muffins. Jacob falls is within walking distance from here. Very busy place!

Wow! Wild Thimbleberry jelly is why I went and I was not disappointed! In addition to the many jams, jellies, and marmalade there were baked goods, and candy. Get the dark chocolate bark!

I fail to understand the hype... Baked goods that we got (cinnamon roll and two other bars) were just OK and fairly priced. We did not buy any jam as we don't use that much and the price for thimbleberry jam is $25 for 8 oz? Overall, it wasn't bad, but not for my wife and I.

This place has reached legendary status and is a must visit. Just ask Gordon Ramsay, who visited Jampot a few years ago. Not only are their jams amazing, but their bake goods are top notch. Do not forget to grab a slice of abbey cake, as they are heavily laced with bourbon. 11/10 stars.
