Today was my first time here; staff was friendly and helpful as soon as I walked in. Thank you for being kind and explaining things to me. I ordered a Vanilla Lavender Cold Brew and a Milky Hazelnut Pastry. Both amazing!!!!!! I will definitely be back to order some food after looking at their food options.

Great Turkish food, very fresh, prepared well. It isn't a place where you eat cheap gg fast food, but you get the impression that they prepare it with love. Try the carrot salad.

The best place for dessert and coffee. Miss the vegan chocolate cake! Staff is always super kind and accomodating! Calm, quiet, clean atmosphere.

The staff was gracious and very polite. The soup, meals and dessert was quite delicious. Looking forward to going back again.

Coffee and tea options were fantastic. Vibe and decor were eclectic and appealing. The sweets were not good at all but hoping that it was due to the holiday & having them sit too long.

If you didn’t know you needed a wonderfully exquisite Mediterranean market/ cafe in your life, here’s your sign! You will find exactly this at the Cafe Zuppina in Lakeland. It’s all in the same little area but two distinct parts- the actual restaurant, “Cafe Zuppina”, is located to the right when you are facing the buildings. Then, the “Market at Cafe Zuppina” is the longer building to the left (its 2 rooms). The Market is just a charmer. There is an actual market section, where you can find fun foreign candies, jams, dips, drinks, and even some pre made take home for later Mediterranean food. Then walk into the interconnected next room, and you will find another world of more goodies. Gelato, coffee, pastries and baklava galore! There are many fun things to choose from. One of my personal favorites is the chocolate baklava. They should call it choclava instead, I think. Also, most every season they create some sort of special short-term flavored cold brew coffee. During the most recent holidays they had an eggnog cream cold brew, and it was one of the best cold brews I’ve had to date. I was totally taken aback by how good it was, especially since I didn’t really expect it. So what I’m saying is, keep an eye on their cold brew specials and definitely give those a try! The market is awesome for a quick stop or a nice place to hang out- in their adorable leather chairs or out in the middle courtyard!

Awesome food, desserts, and coffee served by super-friendly people in a neat atmosphere. On the food side, I recommend any soups - they are all some of the best soups I have ever had. Also, the vegetable platter is heavenly - seriously one of the best dishes I have ever eaten, hands down. The desserts are made in house and are amazing - there are selections of pastries, baklava, and cake daily. I've tried most of them and they are all great. The coffee and tea drinks are delicious and are a perfect complement to the desserts. There is a Turkish market connected to the cafe that has lots of interesting foods that you wont find anywhere else. Check out the Market - you'll be glad you did.

Today was my first experience at this beautiful place. I was plesantly surprised. The food was on an entire different level. The staff was amazing as was the atmosphere. But the food was soo fresh and beautiful to look at, I wasn't expecting a meal on this level at all. Good yea great hopefully. This place was Outstanding. I was soo impressed that I've been making plans to go back.. Talent and Quality beyond... Wow.

My absolute favorite place to eat in Lakeland. The restaurant has always had amazing food. The owners are so friendly, so caring, and so talented when it comes to making food. The marketplace has super friendly staff. Always has some good stuff to eat including desserts and to go items from the menu. I will always recommend this place.

This marks my second time coming here and I can confidently say that I will be a regular!! My favourite drink is the cold brew float and affogato drinks, always with at least one scoop of their fig marscapone gelato! It is such a well made treat and is always paired wonderfully by their great customer service :) My partner and I love their baclava, and I am so glad it is made with pistachio since most baclava in stores is made with walnuts (I am unfortunately very allergic to walnuts so I have rarely been able to enjoy the finer things in life until now!!). The staff are incredibly down to earth and thankfully know a great deal of what they serve so that any questions I have are answered on the spot! I love the atmosphere even during covid-19, and hope to try more of their unique drinks in the future!!

EDIT: A couple hours later, the bakery got back with me and explained they did have some unexpected issues this morning that they had to open later but should have made that known. They were able to deliver some pastries to my mom's house before she had to go to work. They were very fast, efficient, and courteous getting back with me and making it right for my mom's birthday. Well done. Highly disappointed in The Market. On their website, it said they open at 8am but I got there and saw the sign saying they open at 10am. Not a problem, I was wanting a pastry for my mom for her birthday today but it could be done for brunch and I understand that there are a lot businesses that are adjusting their hours due to Covid. I come back at 10:30 and they are STILL not open but there are 2 cars out front. So I try calling them MULTIPLE times to see what is going on with their hours. Not even a voicemail would pick up and it hung up on me every time. I would have loved for this to be my next local dessert bakery but sadly, it would seem they cannot seem to run their store in accordance with their own hours that were posted, nor could they answer their phone. Highly disappointed and they ruined birthday plans for my mother as she has to work this afternoon and this was the only time anything could be picked up.

Spent some time browsing while waiting for the restaurant to open. I will definitely be back soon. So many interesting things to think about buying, cooking, and taking home ready to eat and authentic Turkish bread. The pastries are beautiful, almost artificial looking they are so perfect. Like being in Europe. Can't wait to visit this market again.

The Market @ Cafe Zuppina is right next to the restaurant. At The Market, the have coffee, desserts, gelato, grab and go prepared foods, and international groceries. A very unique store.

A nice comfy atmosphere with all kinds of international foods for sale for you to make it take-home meals that you can have from their restaurant. A wonderful selection of dessert foods after that wonderful date night with your little honey. Stop on by to this friendly, cozy place!! **parking can be a bit tricky if the place is packed**

An absolutely fantastic little cafe! Every menu item is a delicacy! The baristas are so knowledgeable and friendly. An absolute treat to visit! Their zucchini quiche is fantastic as well as the jumbo stuffed macarons. If you’ve never tried Turkish coffee, it’s absolutely worth giving a try! Be sure to ask how first!!

Incredible array of French pastries and options, extremely helpful and friendly staff. And great coffee/gelato! Would recommend to everyone (the interior is also quite exceptional).

Nice atmosphere. Staff was pleasant. Homemade Quiche worth the $9.00 and every calorie. Very good pastries and coffee. Also Gelato and high end international foods. Dead quiet on a Thursday evening.

This Market a wonderful addition to the Cafe Zuppina restaurant. It is filled with a variety of Turkish products (everything from Turkish coffee, olives, olive oil, spices, juices and even fantastic candy). There is also a “to go” refrigerator filled with products made fresh daily from the Cafe Zuppina restaurant. What a great addition to the Lakeland area. This is a favorite place of mine.

Great experience, bought fresh hummed, carrot salad and potato salad and they were amazing. Bread tasted so delicious, can’t wait for more stuff. Will definitely save us a trip to Mediterranean stores in Tampa or Orlando.
