Ordered a birthday cake with them - 8’’ Choc Mousse… cake was delectable, moist with fresh cream on the top. Would like them to have more variety

I tried working at pantry for a position it was my 2-3 time applying there( Part time job weekdays or weekends), A very elder guy w grey hair named paul zawadski had called me. For training I had been ready since 7 am that day and left home early he calls me at 8:20 talking about dress code. Very irresponsible. I then got there he made me change clothes. And he said something about my sunglasses in my hand. Then took me to his office to talk about the register policy. For a whole hour. He had said that I had started off bad.. he then told me that the trainer called out made me return home and he had told me to come back the next day. The next day he calls me says the trainer is out and that he wouldn’t be able to offer me any hours anymore. I don’t know if it’s cus I have black hair with tan skin..He had made me feel bad. Gave me anxiety. I think he ruined my central nervous system/Parasympathetic and my digestive system with my stomata and guts.I had to go to therapy today in the morning at 8 with my coach because I felt depression He had ruined my mental health…I tried releasing the stress and express my emotions that he provoked me. Did not even apologize to me has no manners..I’ve heard very bad comments about him now I believe them all. Now i’m traumatized and don’t want to be near. God bless him

Beautiful Lil store. Serving best baked goods especially cakes and pastries. Need someone trained who can write on birthday cakes in absence of the bakers. The rating would have been a 1 star if it was purely based on a lady serving in the back who looked irritated with my question on is no one else available to write on the cake. Again generally your staff has been always amazing

My review is for the bakery department, as that is what I shop for at The Pantry. Their cookies are amazing! I order platters multiple times a year, ensuring that I include molasses, oatmeal, sugar, & chocolate chip in my order. The cakes are delicious and abundant in choices, as well. The raspberry deluxe is a favorite at my house. And, I ordered a simple chocolate cake with buttercream, to which I added fresh berries, that was divine. The chicken pot pie, in the prepared foods section, is the best my husband’s favorite. I try to park in the rear, as the front lot gets crowded & difficult to maneuver during busy times. But, that doesn’t keep me away from one of my favorite spots!

Such a highly curated grocery store and nothing compares to their in house food. Brilliant cakes, cookies, fritters, sandwiches, salads all for grocery store prices. Everything is so fresh. We are lucky to have this gem. I also want to make a huge shout out to the staff here. I hope you all read this. I’ve seen how patient you’ve been with some of the most mindlessly exhausting customers. Someone should make a comic strip. Yesterday I waited 15 minutes while a woman kept vaguely pointing to every piece of chicken (all identical) demanding the perfect piece. It was maddening because she was also inaudible. I was sure the employee would lose it but he was able to smile throughout and even be sweet to the woman. Bless your staff, seriously.

my family loves shopping here. There baked pastries are to die for and are always at every single holiday and birthday. There sandwiches are delicious and the service from everyone is out of this world.

I picked up a few cupcakes for NYE - gold cupcake with white frosting and sprinkles. The cupcakes were dry. Seemed like they were old and topped with new frosting. The Pantry’s pastries are always so fresh and delicious. First time with old, dry cupcakes.

Love the Pantry for special occasions and prepared meals. The Chicken Pot Pie is a family favorite, and we celebrate most birthdays with a cake (or two) from the Pantry.

The folks at The Pantry did a fantastic job catering my Dad’s 100th birthday celebration this weekend! Every detail from planning; which I did over the phone long distance to pick up on the day of went smoothly and professionally! Needless to say the food was amazing ! The 60 or so people were well fed and the compliments abundant! I can’t say enough about the birthday cake! Everybody’s new favorite! Thanks again to everyone at the Pantry! Although some women in the bakery can be a bit snippy, the vegan chocolate cupcakes are to DIE for. The overall selection and customer service throughout the store keep me coming back!

Moved to Fairfield last summer. I love The Pantry! Delicious prepared foods- we enjoy the lasagna, chicken piccata and chicken burritos. The desserts are also very fresh and yummo. The Pantry is not a large store, but you will find what you are looking for. Quality goods throughout, cheerful people behind the counters. Always a pleasure.

If you are looking for cookies, look no further. Hands down, these are my favorite chocolate chip cookies. Their coffee bar is also stellar, always enjoy getting lattes from them. My wife loves the croissants there as well. I crave this place very often, next time I am in fairfield I will definitely be stopping by!

The Pantry catered my husband’s birthday party. The food was delicious!! The sour cream chive sauce to accompany the beef tenderloin & dill sauce for the salmon terrific.

Addicted to their muffins (especially the Pumpkin Cranberry) and other pastries and puddings. Bakery shelves are fully stocked every morning and empty by mid-afternoon, for good reason!

Love this place! I make a point of stopping in every time I’m in Fairfield. Fantastic salad bar, pastries, prepared foods and sandwiches, oh and the quiche!

Very "fancy" atmosphere but the food was totally normal. Like snickers and chalulu. And there were almost no vegetables!

We used The Pantry for catering for our intimate backyard wedding. We spoke with some of the staff to figure out how much food we needed, and they were really great about accommodating the gluten/dairy allergies of some of our guests. All of the food was delicious, and we had a perfect amount. We had the zucchini/turkey meatballs, grilled shrimp, crostini’s for appetizers. Cedar plank salmon, beef tenderloin, and veggie lasagna for main dishes, and mixed veggies as a side, and a salad bar. Everything was delicious! Would highly recommend their food for your events!

We come for breakfast here very often and we are never disappointed with the service and quality of the food. The flagles are delicious and the croissants are authentically French. The waiting time is fairly short and the prices are cheap for the pastry items. The store itself though is expensive as it is a gourmet store. Would recommend to anyone looking for breakfast or specialty foods.

chocolate-raspberry cake is our favorite! We ordered last week for christening of our daughter and it was delicious as always!!! Love this place, we will definitely be back 👍
