My first time at this place. The brisket and ribs are tender, sausage is very good. We enjoyed the Boudain balls and fried green tomatoes.

This was my first time in Jackson. We were in town for a Joe Bonamassa concert. I ate here with my 2 teenage boys, so we had a little bit of everything! Big sample platter, BBQ nachos, and tacos! We all thought the brisket was amazing! Probably in the top 3 of best briskets I have ever eaten! We got our food pretty quickly. They were busy, but not packed. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

It’s good bbq with good atmosphere on days when it’s not hot because all seating is outside. Most is covered but still affected by the temp. Wings and brisket were good but the tacos not so much. On the expensive side for bbq. I give it a C

Went twice. First time mine was average at best. Second time I had the brisket tacos and pork belly corn dogs. Tacos were not bad. Pork belly was just bad. Half of the first one was nasty fat, and both just had an odd, not good taste. Good atmosphere and service, but doesn't matter if the food is bad.

Stopped here for a late lunch. The pulled pork sandwiches were delicious. Hubby liked the coleslaw and I enjoyed the mac & cheese. The server said they make it there with smoked gouda. Yum! Enjoyed my meal so much, I got a tee shirt!

My family and I tried out Pig & Pint on Thursday evening. 3 of us had the BBQ Taco Sampler and we chose pork, chicken and brisket. I ate mine without any extra BBQ sauce it it was still flavorful. My husband sampled the BBQ sauces on the table. My son tried the Bacon Melt but he wasn't a fan. Everyone should try their homemade strawberry lemonade. It was delicious! The staff was friendly and food came out pretty fast. The only real issue we had was fighting to eat our food through the many flies that have taken up residence inside the screened in area. We did have to make a couple of loops before someone left out the parking lot. They only have a few spaces in their actual lot.

They have a dog friendly patio, which was perfect for us as we were on a road trip with our dog. They gave her water. The food was delicious, service was great and fast!

I’ve decided to come across this place on my way to florida with the Family! I ordered the brisket taco sampler and although it wasn’t the best barbecue i’ve had like not even close , It was edible. The mac n cheese was solid as well as the strawberry lemonade. The tunes were sweet and had me swinging around the table. Service i had no issue with so i cannot complain. With that being said i‘ve decided to not commit to Pig and Pint and eliminate them from my top 5 BBQ chains. My sweethole has been triggered and it’s starting to run up to my stomach. I doubt i’ll be able to make it the rest of the trip without laying one down at a rest stop along the way. God Bless America.

The brisket would be better, sliced thinner, the beans are just spicy no taste, cold slaw was the best thing and it wasn't that good. The ribs were just, ok and all the sauces where spicy. Not a kid friendly menu. Service was great but no one wants to spend $20 to $40 for just service.

Amazing bbq ribs. Some of the best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had. Love the thin cut. Collards not spicy. Way they should be. Great staff. Wish they had one in my hometown.

We stopped here on our way through Jackson and it was an amazing choice. My husband got the 3 taco sampler with a side of mac n cheese and I got a brisket sandwhich with fries. First the price is AMAZING for how much food you get. We were shocked at the size and amount of food that we got considering both meals were under 15 dollars. The restaurant and restrooms were clean, and the service was good. I would highly recommend this place for good bbq 😋

Only the sides I had can I critique. Green Tomato was hard, felt like frozen. Potato salad was authentic but a little more seasoning. Smokey Mac and cheese was not smokey. Now the pork was good, tender and their hand made sauces were excellent. I suggest the mustard sauce. Especially if you like Verde sauce. Not bad at all, but small improvements could help

We were in Jackson for the first time and looking for a good place to eat! We loved it! Their specialty is brisket and pork and they really know what they're doing!

I had been trying brisket at various restaurants in and near the McComb area, and it was all bad! After a week, while on my way back to N. Carolina, I google Brisket Restaurants again near Jackson, and I was directed to The Pig & Pint. All I can say is I would drive back to Jackson Mississippi just for the brisket plate. It was that good!!!!

We were in town for the 7/4- and found this bbq place. The food was good. It’s an outside dining experience. So be prepared for the Mississippi heat.

Great Southern BBQ & super friendly staff. I had some pulled pork with slaw, home made fries & bottled root beer. All 1 A OK.

The food was very good and the service was pure southern hospitality. Love this place. Ordered a few different dishes (Brisket/AMAZING, Pulled Pork/DELICIOUS, and a Full Slab of Ribs/Perfect Bite and Pull) and a sandwich to go and just upset I couldn’t take a whole brisket or the restaurant with me back to Chicago. Amazing atmosphere and definitely will be back!

This place is the real deal! Got the ribs, brisket, and puked pork with smoked Mac and cheese and fried green tomatoes. Everything was awesome. Just know that you might have a hard time finding parking if they're busy.

Well, we had to try some BBQ, and this is the place we choose. The food was very good. We had a sampler. It features. White chicken meat , pulled pork, ribs half slide, and beef brisket. We added fried green tomatoes, watermelon, and these b balls, which featured 1 different sauces. I liked the red sauce, which was sweet, and the brown mustard looking sauce, was horashy. I liked them both. Also had smoked Macaroni and cheese and collars greens. Loved the Mac and cheese, the greens were more bitter then we're used to. It would have given a 5, I would definitely recommend. We also had the sweet tea, which was pretty decent

We were just driving through the area and heard about this place so we stopped in. Overall its a good bbq place,the atmosphere and service were great and I can see coming back again. All of the of the sides and especially the brisket weren't that great,but the ribs and selection of sauces at the table kinda make up for it. A bbq place should have decent sides,but there wasn't one thing we ordered that we'd order again Also try the pork belly corn dog. I've never had pork belly,but I was really pleased. Eating bbq outside is the only way to go IMO and the majority of the seating is outdoors. There's ample parking on site. Also you make your order at the desk and they bring it out to you. Its a decent place,but we're gonna have to try other menu items when we're in the area again. The atmosphere and service are doing the heavy lifting here.

The brisket was delicious. The sauces on the table were delicious. All of the side items me and 3 other people got were meh. They liked the macaroni . But the greens and green beans had way too much vinegar in there or something. They were sour in a weird way that's not good. The fried green tomatoes didn't even taste like tomatoes but they did have a nice crispy crust that is hard to achieve when ordering but it didn't matter because they didn't taste like anything .... But like I said the meat was fine. The sides need work.

I ate here with a group of coworkers. It was delicious! We all got something different, and everyone was impressed and very pleased.

First time was great and we loved it. Couldn’t wait to go back but the 2nd visit was not good at all. We couldn’t find parking so we drive around back. In the back were tons of empty cans of baked beans so they just use canned beans if you care. They had a bus cart full of dirty dishes sitting outside with flies all over it in the hot sun. I was grossed out and considered leaving at the sight of that and lack of parking. Decided to give it a go and it just was not good at all 2nd time. Pulled pork was super dry and in huge chunks rather than finely chopped like the last time. Sauces are good. Fries and fried green tomatoes last time were good but they didn’t have any that day. Might try it one more time to see if they were having a bad day. I do like the atmosphere.

I tried The Pig & Pint BBQ for the first time the other Saturday, and I have to say that it was a delightful and interesting experience. As soon as we walked in I really liked the ambiance and the outdoor layout (I just wish there was more indoor seating where there was air conditioning lol🥵) and we loved the friendly and hospitable service from start to finish; everyone was so kind. I got their brisket plate with the comeback coleslaw and smoked mac n cheese with iced tea. Overall, the food was great. The brisket was nice and tender just how I like it and tasted good; I really enjoyed their classic Mississippi BBQ sauce and their Carolina Mustard BBQ sauce too (that one was unique to me). The coleslaw was a bit different than what I expected, like I knew that it would be tossed in a comeback sauce as the name implies, but I expected it to also have a bit more of a sweetness and vinegary notes; it reminded me more of a crab salad base which was interesting and unique but I just think it may have been better with a bit of sweetness and vinegary acidity like typical coleslaw. But the smoked mac n cheese was absolutely AMAZING!!! It was so good, rich, and creamy🥴🤤😋 I DEFINITELY recommend that side dish for anybody wanting to go there! The bread and the tea were good too (I got the unsweetened tea and added lemon and sweetened it to my taste so that's a little more ambiguous and subjective). I also tried some of my dad's ribs and fried green tomatoes which were pretty nice too. One thing I really loved tho was the classic old school blues music they had playing on the radio which really set the mood and how they have rolls of paper towels at each table so you don't have to beg for napkins. And they give you good portions for decent prices. As I mentioned earlier, I just wished they had more indoor seating space to be where there's air conditioning, but I did enjoy my outdoor dining experience there which allowed me to see this cool moth (in the last picture) that I thought was a leaf at first lol.😅

We stopped by here on our way our West from the South. This was some good BBQ. My wife and I shared the pulled pork and brisket. My only thing is I wished the brisket was more burnt, but it was great food.

Great outside space to eat, a decent menu, but limited indoor seating so be aware on hot days!

The service and food were great! Granddaughter picked this place on her 13th birthday food trip. So far it has been her #1. We had the brisket, pork rinds, beans, half rack a ribs, coleslaw, French fries & brisket nachos. SO much food we could not eat it all! Service was super fast and friendly. Only thing lacking was a toothpick!

Wir waren auf der Durchreise in Jackson. Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant für das Nachtessen sind wir auf dieses Restaurant gestossen. Das Restaurant ist eher einfach, Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend und Essen war sehr fein. Hat einen schönen Garten zum draussen Essen. Können es gerne empfehlen.

The BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich is amazing! The meat is tender and the bbq is bold and flavorful topped off with a soft brioche bun! I will be back!!!

Fabulous bbq! A platter for two actually satisfies two hungry adults! Known for ribs and brisket, and they are outstanding, but guess what? Everything we tried was awesome! And the music was great - upbeat blues at just the right volume. Don't miss a chance to indulge in this true bbq treasure!

Wings are too big and were borderline undercooked. They weren't very flavorful and were not cooked as requested. The nachos were good.

Very large portion with delicious food. Extremely friendly people and cozy atmosphere. Only one little down for me as a northern was that mainly eating it is outside, and it was a very hot and humid day. But, we will definitely come back for it 😃👍🏼, maybe late in the evening next time 😉🤪🤷‍♀️

This is the best bbq I've had in Mississippi so far. Myself and a friend ordered the bbq platter, and for about 60 dollars had more than enough food to fill the both of us and had some leftovers. At other bbq spots I usually get charged around 30 bucks and don't even walk away with a full stomach because alot of these places prefer to serve the least amount of food on a pretty little plate. Pig and Pint doesn't play those games, and it shows when you're hunting for a spot to park!

I’ve never had better BBQ! I’ve had some of the best in the world. Sugar Fire in St Louis, Hard Ate in Dallas, Jacks old south in Vienna Georgia. Pig and Pint is the best. I loved the ribs. Just a hint of cinnamon and honestly they really didn’t need any sauce. The brisket was amazing. I couldn’t eat it all ! New # 1 in my book!

Loved the outdoor seating at Pig and Pint. The bbq was so good! The only thing we didn't care for was the corn tastes like the fridge like it hadn't been wrapped properly we didn't care for the boudin balls. But everything else was great! Highly recommend for bbq.

We were there on vacation. We enjoyed our time enough to buy a shirt. The design came off after one wash. I called the restaurant and got a replacement sent to me. Edit to add: the second shirt washed out just like the first. DON'T BUY TSHIRTS FROM THEM.

Decided to try being close by waiting at the hospital and I was disappointed nothing I tried was good, a couple that was visiting from Chicago that were there asked if it was just them and we confirmed it wasn’t good…..the meat was so dry that it battled the beer I had, if you google best BBQ do not go by this place being number 1

Great place for a quick lunch during the work day. Pulled pork tacos were on point. We had a party of six and there were no complaints with any dish.

Ordered the 12 piece wings. Half hot bbq and half Asian bbq. Food came out fairly quick and the wings tasted good but the wings came to the table almost room temperature. The hot bbq isn't really even spicy and the Asian has kind of a pineapple bbq flavor. My friend got the 2 meat plate with pulled pork and sausage with collard greens and fried green tomatoes. The collard greens were horrible according to him and the tomatoes just weren't that great or temperature hot either. The pulled pork was just ok and he said the sausage was the best part.

Went here on a work trip. Absolutely amazing. If you're from the north, you've gotta come here to get some south in your mouth.

A great Southern BBQ joint. Food did not disappoint. Meat was so tender and well cooked. Excellent sauces. Especially like the traditional BBQ one. Fried green tomatoes and bread pudding were excellent. Would go there again when we are in Jackson!

Honestly the best BLT I've ever had. The smoked mac was off the charts. The bacon melt was melt in your mouth delicious. The potato salad was fresh and bright. [Changed my mothers life]. All of the servers were sweet and the lady that checked me in was kind, cheerful and super helpful. I would have put pictures of the beautiful food but once i took a bite i couldnt stop till it was gone. 10/10 would absolutely eat here again

Has all the charm & charisma of a Mississippi barbecue joint, great blues playing over the speakers. Unfortunately that's about as good as it got for a bbq joint. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of greens. There was zero smoke flavor whatsoever. However the chipotle bbq sauce was terrific. My wife had the tacos, ordered one each of chicken, pork and green tomato. Picked them up too watch water draining out and again no smoke flavor on either. Not saying we won't go back but I certainly expected better.

This BBQ shack is the one that my wife judges all others. Not a fan of the beans but the ribs, brisket, and potato salad are the best.

Our first Mississippi food and this was really outstanding. Staff was cheerful and eager to help us! The fried green tomatoes were yummy as well as the salad, mac and cheese, bread, sausage and brisket but best were the ribs!!! So glad for the high Google rating to take us there. Another plus: great selection of craft beers. Try it. You won't be sorry!
