Course 1 was essentially a standard salad. The tomatoes were fresh but otherwise the dish did not impress me. Course 2 was pan seared halibut. The fish had a crust, and the corn was flavorful but a bit too sweet. Course 3 was a small risotto that tasted like regular rice in a broth. It was a bit lackluster. Course 4 was lamb and it was the largest course. The lamb was pressed and would be difficult to distinguish from pulled pork. This dish was disappointing. Course 5 resembled large sugar donut hole with ice cream and blueberries. It definitely was a highlight with the different temperatures and consistencies. Overall, the meal was solid for a tasting menu although the portions were a bit small. Additionally, some of the dishes had the same quality as other much cheaper nice restaurants. I enjoyed this meal but felt that the prices did not match the quality or quantity.

One of the best meals I've ever had. So worth the money for a truly exceptional experience. The donuts for desert were to die for quite literally.

Such a fun and unique dining experience. This was a highlight of our vacation in Maine for sure. Every course was delicious. We also had the wine pairing with our meal and found some wines we really loved.

We try to go at least once a season to The Well for a gazebo tasting menu with family or friends. One of a kind experience, always delicious and friendly knowledgeable service . They are extremely accommodating if you have an allergy or aversion to certain ingredients.

Excellent dinner with friends in a gazebo. What a lovely experience and quite good food. Service was top notch. We will be back again.

One of our favorite places in Southern Maine

The atmosphere is great, but the food and the service was less than impressive. We arrived on time for our reservation and we actually were the first group in the restaurant. Others who arrived later than us, received their meals before we did and when it was brought to the staffs attention we were informed they were behind in the kitchen. In addition to this, one of our meals was not cooked. Although they took the meal back and apologized for the uncooked meal I was less then impressed how all of these things were just pushed under the rug when they were brought up to staff. Hopefully this was a one time incident, but honestly I would not be rushing back.

Logan was a great server. Food was plated beautifully and everything tasted amazing. We had a great gathering of 10 close friends in the large gazebo last night. A truly memorable experience.

I’ll echo what most others have said and say the food is fabulous. Inventive without being too out there, fresh as you would expect from the venue, delicious and artfully plated. The service was also top notch. Friendly, engaging, fast and eager to answer questions. We sat on the Chef’s porch, I guess it is called. Other reviews mentioned a counter and being uncomfortable with the seating or the view. Evidently the set up has now changed, as there is no counter, just a row of tables set for your party size. Comfy chairs and it looks out on to the garden. Nothing to complain about here.

This place is fantastic! I reserved 2 of the gazebos for my wedding dinner and we had such an amazing time. The service was excellent, the food incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere is so cozy and private. Highly recommend!

This meal was absolutely one of the best meals Ive ever had! The desert was definitely the best! Every course including the drinks all were perfect. I hope one day to come back again!

The food was to die for, but sitting on the Chef's tasting porch was uncomfortable for me. You sit at a small high top counter facing toward the garden. With four people sitting side by side looking straight ahead, conversation was tough without getting a stiff neck. I'm short and the counter height chair didn't have a rung high enough for me to rest my feet on so by the end the circulation was cutting off in my legs.

A fantastic farm to table dining experience! Extremely friendly and down to earth staff/environment! Special thanks to Cassie for squeezing us in the door for a last minute surprise birthday dinner!

Always an amazing experience at The Well!

Last night we had a wonderful celebration meal with 3 good friends. It was my 3rd time eating at “the well” and I have to say each time has been a fantastic meal. The super fresh farm to table ingredients can’t be beat, quality culinary craftsmanship , attention to detail, and the plating were stand out if not stellar. My greatest appreciation for this place is their general willingness to happily work with food restrictions. I am always nervous when eating out that my food needs make me seem high maintenance and difficult. The waitstaff made me feel like the modifications I needed were no big deal. Which made my dining experience even more of a pleasure. *Celiac and Keto friendly.

I cannot wait for the season to start up again. It was always so nice there and the whole family could come! This place is so nice and the food! The food is possibly some of the best you’ll ever have I’m really hyping this place up cause it deserves it! I don’t make many reviews but the chef has my full support so I just had to make one! I’ve driven by this place a few times recently and it looks great! It looks like they re-stained it and my goodness it looks beautiful. Waiters were very kind me and my family absolutely love it here.

If I could only use three words in my review they would be: ORDER. THE. DUCK. Perfectly cooked And full of flavor. I've ordered duck several times at farm to table restaurants and this was by far the best.

Lovely setting, hyper-local ingredients cooked adequately, and very relaxed service.

Incredible meal, brought out "family style" in a series of courses from the fresh greens to the incredible platter of smoked ham, and chicken and roasted vegtables to the warm fresh homemade desert donut and fresh strawberries in your own private gazebo right next to growing fresh food in the middle of the farm. Excellent atmosphere and friendly service , will definitely be back. Make reservations early as they are very busy. Wonderful experience all around.

There are different experiences to be had here, all of which are great. Chefs table/menu - 5 courses. Gazebos for family sized parties overlooking a portion of the farm. And my personal favorite - Arriving early for first sitting - alla carte menu - at the open air picnic tables w/shared seating. Service and food have been 100% for me each of my 5 visits over the past 3 years.

The Well at Jordan’s Farm was phenomenal. We did the taster menu based on recommendations from other reviewers and it did not disappoint. The fresh produce combinations used to complement each course was creative and amazing. We finished off with the fried doughnut and I agree with other reviewers it’s a must have. We sat at the cook’s Table and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

Don't eat the bread. No, not because it isn't delicious but because you'll beg for more and they'll likely acquiesce and then you won't have enough room for the beignet with cream and strawberries dessert. Ok, you'll make room for that too. Dinner in a charming gazebo with family, fresh farm to table food, a custom playlist for the bluetooth speaker provided and all around amazing service. One of the best overall dining experiences I've ever had. Priceless.

Had a delightful time here for dinner last night! The gazebos are spacious and intimate at the same time. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. Very unpretentious and comfortable setting. And the food...exquisite! We did the chef's tasting menu which was varied, and the portions were perfect. We sat by the fire pit for an hour after dinner chatting with the chef and some staff members and left feeling like family! We already have another reservation in the book! This venue really is not appropriate for small children.

My ultime favorite! Very casual, reservations and cash only. Always get the tasting menu as it has 4 meals plus desert. Only open in the summer so every winter I look forward to their opening and go once a month over the entire summer. Best part, it’s BYOB. Just the best! Jason and his team is absolutely amazing. So is Jordan farm and their produce.

One of our favorite places we have ever dined. Truly a unique experience. Food is always amazing (don't leave without a donut) and service is always the best. The atmosphere is beautiful and we love the BYOB aspect.

My cousins told my wife about The Well. She’s a foodie and had to try it. The outdoor venue is screened in gazebo’s for dining areas and a small building for the kitchen. We had a perfect cool and cloudless evening when went. The four of us had the five course tasting menu and everything was delicious. When we are on vacation my wife picks James Beard award and celebrity chef places to eat and The Wells food is as good or better. If you want a unique dining atmosphere and great food I highly recommend The Well.

The Well is a special place. With a few gazebos and a tiny kitchen shed in a picturesque farm setting, you really can't beat the atmosphere, especially as the sun is setting. The food is also really tasty, and you can bring your own wine without any additional charge. I like getting the set menu.

BYOB and great farm to table spot situated on a working farm in the middle of a flower garden. This is one of my favorite spots in all of Maine. Do not skip the doughnuts if they have them for dessert - sugar dusted ethereal pillows with local fruit... Hnnngh. Be sure to reserve a spot for parties of 4+ or arrive right when they open for a picnic table. Tables are first come, first serve and get snapped up very quickly with decent weather.

Hands down, my favorite place for dinner. Anywhere. Crafting a rotating menu of locally sourced ingredients, chef Jason Williams and his crew have brought the table to the farm in grand style. You won’t find food any fresher, or more beautifully prepared than right here folks.
