Was very excited to try the wings. Very disappointed. The dryest wings I've ever had. And they were burnt to a crisp. Absolutely horrible will not be going back here

Excellent burgers and friendly service.

Food and service were excellent. It took about 20 minutes to get our meal on a Saturday night. The burgers were amazing! Will come back again for sure!

Good wings and burgers - typical bar atmosphere, which is exactly what we were after!

First off, this is worth the drive outside of town! Despite the old furniture and bar atmosphere, the food here is nothing to laugh at. You'll be greeted by some of the friendliest people around who truly care that you had great food and service. The lightning was a bit dark to get a good photo as it doesn't do justice to the immense flavor. I ordered the Moose Burger; two 1/3 lb patties, onion rings, and their special sauce, which is a perfect bourbon bbq. I added Swiss for only $0.20 and had the beer fries and coleslaw. I'm highly judgemental of coleslaws, so for me to give this an 8 out of 10 is pretty solid. Nice balance of tangy, sweet, and crunchy. Not too vinegary or flat, but it could use a little less sauce and a smidge more celery seed. The fries were OUTSTANDING. Crispy, perfectly cooked, and a light beer batter that stands out as it should. I could come here and order a bucket of fries weekly without hesitation. Despite cooking burgers to well done, they somehow come out very juicy and tender. This looks like fresh, hand formed ground beef and tastes like it came from the butcher, not a grocery store. The only thing that would make this perfection is thick-cut bacon and cheese as a standard. I can't help but give the Thirsty Moose 5 stars for fooling me with a near perfect execution of flavor at a price that will bring me back tomorrow.

I found this place really cool and vibe is so good. The lady and the gentleman at bar counter are friendly. I loved wings here they have so many flavors. Fish nuggets are yum too. Prices are decent. Will definitely go to this place again and again.

Cammi is the best waitress around. All the staff here have very welcomeing vibe. And the food is tip top.

It was pretty good. These smaller places usually have pretty good food, so it was expected and it didn't let me down.

We ordered two different types of wings. Hot Garlic parmesan and traditional Buffalo Hot wings. Both were excellent. Great flavor and crispy on the outside. Cooked just right. Everyone was friendly and polite. We also ordered a side of fries. They were the only disappointment. Don't waste your money on the fries!

Update: I've had their Mushroom & Swiss burger twice now. The cheese is so tasty! The burger is a 1/3 pound and juicy. Affordable and delicious! I had their pizza. Lots of cheese, but barely any sauce, and a tasteless crust.

Great place for truck drives as myself passing by..

The service was fabulous. She made sure our needs were met and our mugs were full. The beer is always cold in a frosty mug. The atmosphere is what we expect.

Any time I'll be in the area I plan my trip around a stop at the Moose. It's the best food and friendliest service you'll find in northern Minnesota!

Great gem in Hibbing! It’s your typical range menu of bar food, but they do have some healthier options too. Their service is always awesome, great staff! Pizza and wings here are top notch! No liquor, just beer and wine. We love the popcorn and peanuts!

Best food in town! Always quick service with the nicest staff. Highly recommend the portobello mushroom fries with the garlic butter sauce! Fantastic!

We had the moose and suicide burgers. Good but nothing “special”. Kids got a cheese pizza. That was excellent(snuck a few pieces). Cauliflower bites were great but not worth the price vs how much you get. Saw a few people with wings and they looked awesome. Service was a 10. Will be back!

Good value and good burger. Fries and onion rings were frozen and tasted like it. With a little extra prep time I’m sure they could really improve those two sides. As a side note; they would not give out the Wi-Fi password. What’s up with that?! Not a bad spot though.

I've tried wings at many different restaurants throughout the state and the wings at the thirsty moose are consistently some of the best, hands down. Pizza's are incredible as well. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Great place for a casual gathering of a group.

Hole in the wall bar. They were very busy. Friendly, but they definitely needed another bartender/waitress. Maybe a hair net for the cook. Beer batter friends were good. We stopped about 2pm.

Food was good, service was slow. Does not have any liquor, beer bottles and cans only. Wings were delicious! Despite being forgotten by the server, we will stop again when in the area for the Wings.

The garlic chicken wings were unique and amazing! No wonder they have award after award on their walls. A must stop...when driving up north from the North Shore to Bigfork.

The mushroom swiss burger was great and the price point for Tuesday burger special was awesome, too.

We had a really nice experience and the food was good! The owner was personal and made our experience great! Food and drinks are reasonable priced and delicious. For an appetizer, we got the Assorted Basket and Cheese Curds. I would do the cheese curds again but wouldn't recommend the other basket.
